Always wanted a steering wheel setup, so went with the logitech G29 with shifter. Then the worry was what type of stand. After doinga bit of research and deciding not to go with the versions where you have the pole going inbetween your legs, I went with this version. To be honest the price 109, I wasn’t expecting too much….. but to be honest I was very surprised. Not only was it packaged well so it wouldn’t get damaged in transit (foam coverings etc in a strong box) the item is made up of a strong reliable metal no flimsy at all. It also has all the adjustments you will ever need to fit any wheel/peddles and shifter. If you are the same as me looking for a start up set then look no further…. perfect item at a reasonable price ! I would highly recommend. Plus with amazon prime it arrived the next day ready for my gaming over the Xmas lockdown period !! 5*****
Decent stand
Great stand – a must for anyone with a wheel! The adjustment is great and it’s made from decent metal box section that is more than sturdy enough, finish is a nice matte effect too.

I received the order very quickly from the supplier so full marks there. It’s very sturdily built and well designed. I’m 6ft 2 and 88kg, sometimes i get a bit animated during the game but the frame can handle it no problem. Easy to assemble and absolutely no complaints.

Works exactly as intended, good geometry, you can adjust it to fit your body, takes a lot less space when folded up. Folding it could be easier as you have to unscrew two handles on each side, fold it and screw them back and reverse the process to unfold it but it works well even if it’s a bit of work.

Bought this because even though I could just clamp my wheel to my desk in my home office, the vibration of the force feedback wheel causes a lot of vibration through the desk makingit hard to isolate to the annoyance of my wife.
This works great for a standard height office chair and could find a position that was very comfortable for me, and then vibration can at least be reduced by plaing the entire unit on a thick mat. The unit is sturdy and once you bolt down the wheel shifter and pedals, nothing moves about in the unit itself. However the unit can move away from you if you’re on a hard wood floor as it’s not connected to where you sit like a full playseat, so you’ll just need to secure it from moving.
It does fold, but it’s not a quick or hassle free operation, you have to full remove two hand turnable bolts and unless you turn it on its side, you’ll need to hold the wheel up so it doesn’t just crash down when you remove them.

Solid but portable racing stand
The stand is great, it’s easy to put together, solid and doesnt move about when racing. It has a good range of adjustment to get the perfect fit. It’s easy to fold away.
Once I have more room I’ll be buying the rseat bracket and race seat to complete the set up.

This stand is very well made, strong and durable. It doesn’t even wobble about when using force feedback wheel. I am very happy with this purchase.
There was just one drawback, I just wish the tilt would lock at any point, not just in the 3 notches pre-set.

I’ve spent I don’t know how much on trying to find the right racing rig for my bedroom set up…150 on a Currys racing seat that was too big and too low ( I’m a chunky chap with a bad back and a touch of arthritis ) so my wheel didn’t get used , was just gathering dust. Sold it on Gumtree at a great loss and decided to go for this stand, what a top notch piece of kit, came pretty much ready assembled , only had to add the gear shift mount , hook up my Logitech G29 pedals and wheel, bit of cable management and coupled with my adjustable mini office chair it works a treat ! I love the fact it is sturdy as anything, you can bolt your wheel and pedals to it so nice n firm and it collapses to stow away….best of all, it doesn’t cost a fortune to buy ! Just been rallying with WRC 8 for the last 2 hours, oh and there is no bar down the middle to knock your legs on when braking and accelerating that my old rig had. Best buy in ages for my low budget sim rig. Thanks GT Omega for a fab piece of kit at a great price ! Well impressed.

Using it with my g29 and a shifter, holds it in place very nicley, you can add any chair, or go fancy and buy something more specific. Folds and can be stored reducing the amount of space it occupies.

Strong – Strong – Strong Wheel stand. Easy to put together – You can configure the stand to suit your requirements. I bolted a Logitech G29 wheel to this stand and it feels as solid as a rock. It has made driving a lot more enjoyable & comfortable.

Solid and versitile racing wheel stand
Really nice wheel, fits nicely under my desk, it comes with two ways of mounting the gear stick holder. The construction is solid and its easy to assemble. I use a logitech g29, and it has all the right holes for hard mounting, theres loads of holes so i imagine it fits the vast majority of racing wheels.

Really really strong and sturdy stand. Well made no sharp edges, nothing that says this is just some bits of metal stuck together. My Logitech G29 fits perfectly on it and tightens well on to the stand so absolutely no movement. Cant fault it in any way and completely satisfied with purchase. Cheers!

For the money, I was really happy with this. It feels really solid and really heavy. If it moves around, you’re probably being a bit to aggressive with the wheel. The mounting is a bit weird, I must admit. I think I had to watch a YouTube video to find out how to mount the pedals because there are holes everywhere (I guess they use the same parts to fit other wheels and stuff). But after a 15-20 minute setup, everything was good to go.
The main reason I wanted something like this was because I had a large desk, so I couldn’t really put an entire seat and mount anywhere. Also they are super expensive and I wouldn’t use it every day or even every week. So it’s nice to have something smaller that fits my setup and serves the same purpose. A huge bonus with this is that it can be folded away. It’s heavy, but once it’s out of the way, you could never tell it was ever there.
The shifter (if you have one) can be mounted either side. The frame doesn’t get in the way for me (5’10, ~70kg) when driving and doing stuff like heel and toe, drifting etc. The angle of the wheel can be adjusted, as can (sort of) the overall height of the wheel. If you have long legs, I feel like the pedals would be a bit too close.

Excellent stand, my Logitech G29 set up fits perfectly and there’s plenty of adjustability to get the setup that suits.
Instructions are all but non existent but there’s not really much building required and what there is, is pretty simple to figure out.

Sturdy, easy to assemble (remember to take the bottom lip off). Fast efficient service and delivery.
Would have given this 5 stars as it’s exactly as decribed. That said, all the pointy edges have made sure n’t wear shorts without being asked if i’m hurting myself lol. Seriously though, bruises and scrapes.

I’ve had my g29 wheel, pedals and shifter for a couple of months, but now with the stand it’s like racing for real. Very sturdy and fully adjustable to my seat height and leg length. Some other stands the main strut bar almost covers the brake pedal, with the GT Omega’s design, all is clear. I beleive a must have.
I’ve had my g29 wheel, pedals and shifter for a couple of months, but now with the stand it’s like racing for real. Very sturdy and fully adjustable to my seat height and leg length. Some other stands the main strut bar almost covers the brake pedal, with the GT Omega’s design, all is clear. I beleive a must have.
Folds down nicely – although the misses thinks it’s still too big. It’s 14kg so heavier still once the wheel and pedals are mounted on makes it much sturdier than I expected. It took me longer than I’d have liked to work out how to bolt the G29 pedals onto it, the instructions aren’t very descriptive – you have to remove the bottom bar it’s not required.

Great addition to the wheel and gear shift easily folds away very robust pedals are fixed so no slippage.
Want a steering wheel stand. Look no further.
What’s not to like about this. I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t get by Xmas, but it actually arrived early. Works great for any setup. Will add a seat at some point in the future. Recommended.

Capable of being used with all the seating in the house. From settee to computer chair and all in-between. If your looking for a stand for your L/Tech G29 wheel and gear shift – look no further. For the G920 you need to remove the pedal holder bar at the front which gives you two extra bolts to screw your wheel and gear stick on, see picture. V2 of the gear shifter is highly recommend if you are thinking about upgrading in the future to add a seat, as the extension slides into where the V1 shifter attachment lives, also folds down extremely well, sturdy bit of kit too and very well built. Happy with my choice of stand.

Awesome product build quality and finish are superb plenty of leg room if you’re a taller gamer like myself, ordered and delivered within 24hrs what more could you want excellent service from GT omega, now for the race seat and mount.
Had a good look at all the other stands out there , and I ended up with this buety , its .quite heavy which needs to be to remain rigid whilst turning the wheel around corners, you even get extra screws incase you lose any assembling it , which took me around 20 minutes , pnce assembled it looks well sexy , it was delivered 2 days earlier as well .

So I’d just bought a G29 and I got bored of attaching it to my desk everytime I went to use it, and this seemed like the best option after looking through anything that I can fold away in my present living situation.
I’ll admit I had some buyers remorse while it was on the way, I could have spent my money better and all that. But after I’d set it up and how much easier it was to get it set up on a whim and just plug it in it all melted away. It’s solid, already assembled, and I’ve been quite rough with it when I’ve been spinning out and such (I know there’s movement in it from watching reviews but it’s simply not noticeable). I can’t comment on the V2 shifter vs the V1, but this V2 is super comfortable in terms of its positioning and it just feels right.
Overall I’m happy with this, and if you’re looking for something that’s easy to put together initially and just folds away so you don’t notice it, it’s great! I’ve put a photo in of it sitting parked while not in use, which is it’s home for the time being.
