Despite making the Pro 2 extra tough, we’ve kept it lightweight, weight just 2.8kg and with no cord to hold you back, you can move from room to room with ease. Twin aluminium tubes make above-the-floor cleaning lighter and storage easier also.
Long runtime
We’ve powered this vacuum with a 22V Lithium-ion battery, which fully charges in just 4 hours. With 2 power settings to choose from, you’re in control of how you clean. Choose our ‘Eco’ mode for up to 40 minutes of runtime* or ramp it up with ‘Max’ mode for up to 20 minutes*. There’s a 4-stage LED indicator on the battery, showing how much charge is left.

Low maintenance
The Pro 2 is very easy to maintain. The bag is the filter, so every time you fit a new bag you’re fitting a brand new filter. Bags are very easy to fit; you lift the Pro’s lid and the bag pulls easily off its rubber seal. You simply push a new bag on and you’re ready to go.

Full width LED lights illuminate your cleaning area, making dirt and dust under furniture and in awkward corners more visible.

It is quite difficult to disconnect the different parts of the machine and it is top heavy for storing. I am fairly pleased with its performance but I’m not sure that it is as good as my previous model which needed replacing after many happy years use.
So pleased with the one I have owned and used for 3 years that I bought this one for my son who is delighted with it.
It’s early days yet as I’ve only used it once, but it got up nearly all the residue of pet hair that my Shark Cordless Pet left behind (and I haven’t used the boost setting yet). The Shark was great when I had the previous model but as bits broke down I eventually was given the newest version of my old stick vac and it’s been useless ever since. I looked at reviews of varying stick vacs and decided to give the G Tech a try. Only time will tell, but I’m very impressed at present for first use. My house has three long haired people, a Jack Russell and a cat – so it has its work cut out for it.
No messy cables and plugs etc so that’s a bonus.
The only thing I am not too keen on is the on/off switch is too near the handle and on numerous times switched it on accidently.
This is a great hoover brilliant for pet hair and good to hoover the stairs definitely recommended
I dont know how i’ve managed without this little vacuum cleaner, so quick and easy to use. Also, I can do a quick vacuum of my 3 bed-semi x3 times between each charge, twice for a more thorough clean and the smartmeter hardly moves when its on charge.
Find it a little difficult to dismantle to change fittings !
So far so good, first time using it really cleaned my carpet compared to the last vacuum cleaner I had.

Used all round the house and on the stairs.Good suction.. Easy to empty.
Wish it came with a wall mount as standard.Very happy otherwise .
I have had an WirRal before so would expect this model to be as good, which it is and am pleased with it.
Cleaning up after pets hair everywhere good but got blocked
To vacuum the floor, and the rest of the house.

Really good little vac. We bought an extra battery which was about 70 you will need 2 batteries, but it’s worth it as the thing is a pleasure to use and is more practical than our old corded Dyson. Our house is mainly wooden floors , low pile rugs with only the stairway carpeted, the cleaner has worked a treat for us.
I wish I’d bought one sooner. Go through large house in 15 minutes instead of an hour with old cleaner. It is brillia
Love this hoover, so easy to use, very powerful when on Max and easy to manoeuvre around. Battery seems to last ages compared to my previous Dyson. So glad I bought it!

I believe this is the best cordless Hoover on the market I have tried others but they don’t have the suction power would definitely recommend

Lightweight, good suction, very easy to use no problem’s so far.
The suction on this is great, my carpets looked like new again after the first use since my old g-tech had been failing slowly for a while.
My issues are that it can’t stand on its own, it has to lean against and wall or other flat surface. My other issue is because it’s top heavy, it can make my feeble girly arms ache while using. Good job my husband does most of the vacuuming.
The suction is really to start with but it easily gets blocked especially with hair which is rather disappointing as it’s designed for pet owners.

Also you have to purchase the wall bracket separately ( it comes included with the Dyson ) minor gripe but a gripe none the less.
In conclusion a good but flawed device.

Had to replace the original Gtech Pro with a Gtech Pro 2 because the batteries were/are unobtainable. We replaced with a similar model because they appear to be the best on the market. I can’t say I’m happy with the situation.
Only downside is I’m unable to change tools which fit very tightly, need to get son to do this
I really loved it. it has made hoovering something i no longer put off. The fact that it doesn’t stand up on its own surprised me but actually isn’t a problem
Easy to use and set up ! Good suction power , easy to handle and use .Attachments good .Overall very pleased.
Problem with faulty charger which was speedily rectified .

It works absolutely fine, it lives up its reputation. The only thing is, if it was bagless would have been even better.
I might have to start doing more exercise because vacuuming the house is no longer a workout! I’m over the moon with it.
