Despite making the Pro 2 extra tough, we’ve kept it lightweight, weight just 2.8kg and with no cord to hold you back, you can move from room to room with ease. Twin aluminium tubes make above-the-floor cleaning lighter and storage easier also.
Long runtime
We’ve powered this vacuum with a 22V Lithium-ion battery, which fully charges in just 4 hours. With 2 power settings to choose from, you’re in control of how you clean. Choose our ‘Eco’ mode for up to 40 minutes of runtime* or ramp it up with ‘Max’ mode for up to 20 minutes*. There’s a 4-stage LED indicator on the battery, showing how much charge is left.
*Runtimes quoted may vary depending on surfaces cleaned.
Low maintenance
The Pro 2 is very easy to maintain. The bag is the filter, so every time you fit a new bag you’re fitting a brand new filter. Bags are very easy to fit; you lift the Pro’s lid and the bag pulls easily off its rubber seal. You simply push a new bag on and you’re ready to go.
LED lights
Full width LED lights illuminate your cleaning area, making dirt and dust under furniture and in awkward corners more visible.

It is quite difficult to disconnect the different parts of the machine and it is top heavy for storing. I am fairly pleased with its performance but I’m not sure that it is as good as my previous model which needed replacing after many happy years use.
Actually hoovers up Jack Russell hair!
It’s early days yet as I’ve only used it once, but it got up nearly all the residue of pet hair that my Shark Cordless Pet left behind (and I haven’t used the boost setting yet). The Shark was great when I had the previous model but as bits broke down I eventually was given the newest version of my old stick vac and it’s been useless ever since. I looked at reviews of varying stick vacs and decided to give the G Tech a try. Only time will tell, but I’m very impressed at present for first use. My house has three long haired people, a Jack Russell and a cat – so it has its work cut out for it.
Fabulous vacuum cleane
So pleased with the one I have owned and used for 3 years that I bought this one for my son who is delighted with it.
Lightweight and efficient.
No messy cables and plugs etc so that’s a bonus.
The only thing I am not too keen on is the on/off switch is too near the handle and on numerous times switched it on accidently.
Pick up pet hair grea
This is a great hoover brilliant for pet hair and good to hoover the stairs definitely recommended

I dont know how i’ve managed without this little vacuum cleaner, so quick and easy to use. Also, I can do a quick vacuum of my 3 bed-semi x3 times between each charge, twice for a more thorough clean and the smartmeter hardly moves when its on charge.

Good produc
So far so good, first time using it really cleaned my carpet compared to the last vacuum cleaner I had.
This was a replacement for a Shark vacuum cleaner which broke down with a month. This GTech is very good. Does it’s job & dismantles for easy storage in a small flat.
Love this gtech, had one for many years and so now bought another one. I have back problems and this hoover makes things so much easier for me.

Cleaning up after pets hair everywhere good but got blocked
Great vacuum easy to use and charge is enough to hoover for at least 30 minutes on eco. No cable to worry about can go from room to room without any problems. Can get under units easily. A great buy.
It’s so light and easy to use. Don’t have to fiddle around with unplugging something else to plug in the vacuum. It’s a bit smaller and fits in more spaces, and so easy to use on the stairs
So easy to use, very light weight does whole house stairs aswell no problem.

So far a really good little vacuum cleane
Really good little vac. We bought an extra battery which was about 70 you will need 2 batteries, but it’s worth it as the thing is a pleasure to use and is more practical than our old corded Dyson. Our house is mainly wooden floors , low pile rugs with only the stairway carpeted, the cleaner has worked a treat for us.

Mostly good
The suction on this is great, my carpets looked like new again after the first use since my old g-tech had been failing slowly for a while.
My issues are that it can’t stand on its own, it has to lean against and wall or other flat surface. My other issue is because it’s top heavy, it can make my feeble girly arms ache while using. Good job my husband does most of the vacuuming.
Good suction but blocks easily
The suction is really to start with but it easily gets blocked especially with hair which is rather disappointing as it’s designed for pet owners.

Bought this to replace a Dyson that had given up the ghost. First off it does the job and fully charged is much better and lasts longer than the Dyson , however it is heavier and the suction power doesn’t seem as strong , also there is an annoying design fault that means that the dust/ pet hair etc seems to back up easily and block the pipe leading to the bag. This is rectified by running on full power and running back and forth on the floor for a couple of seconds , but it is annoying and shouldn’t happen imo.
Also you have to purchase the wall bracket separately ( it comes included with the Dyson ) minor gripe but a gripe none the less.
In conclusion a good but flawed device.

Keep it charged so always ready to use.
This product is cordless and light so much easier to use when you are older. I now have 2 one for upstairs and one for downstairs which is a great help.
Replaceme
Had to replace the original Gtech Pro with a Gtech Pro 2 because the batteries were/are unobtainable. We replaced with a similar model because they appear to be the best on the market. I can’t say I’m happy with the situation.
Lightweight easy to use
Only downside is I’m unable to change tools which fit very tightly, need to get son to do this
Sounds sda but it has revolutionised my hoovering
I really loved it. it has made hoovering something i no longer put off. The fact that it doesn’t stand up on its own surprised me but actually isn’t a problem

Great hover, like the colour good really good suction, holds power quite good before needing a charge & there’s 4 green bars so you can see how your power is going like the lights so you can see underneath a cupboard or table, would recommend to anybody five stars
Great power stores easily
Works great, after 15 years decided to replace hoover. This was ideal. Conveniently stores in cupboard, suction good. Bit top heavy, and removing battery cover can be awkward, but still impressed.

Just love this gtech pro2.
I’m getting on in years now so I wanted a hoover that would be lightweight and easy to use. But my most favourite bit about it is… it has the dust bag.. so much cleaner and less mess.
Really pleased with this! It’s perfect for hoovering hardwood floors, kitchen tiles and lino/laminate. I also use one of the attachments to hoover the carpet on my stairs. Not sure how effective it would be as a main hoover on a house that is predominantly carpets but it’s perfect for me. Love it.
can be difficult to open for removing bag and cleaning
Very efficient machine. . Excellent for cleaning all flooring but wish it was easier to dismantle and put back together after removing bad and roller. The roller is particularly hard to put into place agai

It works absolutely fine, it lives up its reputation. The only thing is, if it was bagless would have been even better.
A really great product. Lightweight and very easy to use with surprisingly good suction power. Ideal if you find it difficult to use some heavier models and just as effective.
Super fast delivery from gtech! A joy to use. Doesn’t feel as robust as a vacuum cleaner but I’m not in a bad mood pulling things behind me and accidentally pulling the plug out. I can get the whole house, including the stairs done in the time it would have taken to do downstairs. I chose this one because it has bags. I haven’t had good experiences with bagless hoovers. Bags are quite small(as expected for the size of the vac) but It came with 4. It is so handy to pick up and take care of any crumbs during the day.
I might have to start doing more exercise because vacuuming the house is no longer a workout! I’m over the moon with it.
