Great for the summer.
Although advertised as poncho, these are great to lounge around in , in the summer.
On cooler days during the summer, these are nice to wear.
Comfy when worn.
Nice extra pockets.
Appear to be of decent quality.
Firstly, I am female. This towel is great for women as well.
I use it after swimming, I prefer to dry off completely before starting the battle of getting back in my leggings, so I dry my hair and out my creams on first. This is great because you don’t have to worry about your towel falling down when you’re whipping your hair around under the hairdryer. I’m also a bit body conscious so I feel nice and covered up.
Only negative is its a bit stiff at first but once you start using it, it softens up.
This is one of the most comfortable item of clothing that I own the material it is made out of is absolutely amazing and so soft and cosy, this is so easy to wash and dry I would highly recommend it for any comfy day
I’m not a small dude as has been established before so when I see items like this beach robe then I hope for the best and expect the worst, well no need to do either thing there as the actual robe is super soft, really comfy and kept me snuggly warm, there may be no beach days ahead of me but this is going to be a game changer on bath days, not exactly the purpose it was intended for but it is so much better than trying to towel yourself down when your arms are too tired to do much other than hang at your side.
With not one stitch out of place this seems like a really good deal to me at just under 23 and will help me out immeasurably over the coming months and hopefully years.
Ideal for taking away to Cornwall with us. We always try and find a rock to change behind so this will be much more convenient. I’m 5’5 and it comes mid calf so a good length. Also suitable for my husband as it’s roomy for changing under.
I like the hood and the hand warmer at the front – perfect for warming up and drying off out of the sea.
Great size and pretty lightweight too so won’t take up too much room.

Despite coming in a bizarrely small vacuum packed bag this is a quite soft very practical changing robe. It’s very wide so you can get changed with it on, but the colour is a bit dull. It absorbs well as well.
Got this for my partner and he secretly loves it haha so that’s a plus. He said it’s very soft and is just like wearing a towel and dries you fairly quickly. Would recommend. Happy with product I want one now.

The material is like a towel – so hoovers up water and keeps me dry and warm. the air was less than that – but it was an absolute joy to throw the dry robe on and warm up very quickly. This item comes vacuum packed to take up less space in transit so it looks like a solid lump when it arrives.
The Heekpek hooded towel is a great item for the beach or any other adventurous activity where you need to change clothes or dry quickly. It is described as super soft, but I found the microfibres felt a bit rough to touch. Hopefully some softener will address this.
It is very absorbent and is warm to wear when cold. It comes in one size and has plenty of room/fabric to fit most sizes. From the shoulder to hem is around a metre in length.
Overall, I’m pleased with this towel/hoodie. It’s made well for the price and though aimed at men, it will suit/fit most women too.

I have mixed thoughts about this changing robe as I am not a fan of microfiber towels as it feels scratchy, especially if you have dry hands. But, this hooded towel is well-made, appropriately stitched, and has a decent size, good enough for my husband (6’3) or me (5’6).
I’d say, it is suitable for a camping or swimming trip (tho it is quite bulky), as it is huge enough to change your clothes while under the robe.
It absorbed good enough, but not like a cotton terry towel, and due to its material, it is not the easiest to maintain. Unlike my Turkish cotton bathrobe, it can be machine washed but is not suitable to be thrown in the tumble drier.
Overall, I find it decently made, and the product details are spot on, but it may not be everyone’s favourite material.

This poncho towel is perfect for anyone who wants to get changed privately in a public place (beach) or swimming baths. You can also use this at home on a daily basis. It dry’s your body really well and also keeps you warm at the same time. My partner has been using this when he gets out of our spa in the back garden. He said it feels really soft and he can dry off really quickly without getting cold. Overall, it is made well and is a good price.
I was low-key excited to get hold of this. Looked just my sort of thing. It came extremely tightly vacuum packed which is great as it reduced bulk. Overall the robe is really nice. Usual terry cloth type fabric. The pocket and hood are nice touches. Sadly it just doesn’t fit me at all. I’d say this is suitable for anyone who wears up to a large. Any bigger than that and you’ll either not be able to get it on at all, or won’t be able to get it off again after! As long as you fit into it I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Ok, so this is aimed at men but I actually think it’s quite unisexed to be fair and requested to review this being as I’m a woman. I’m not into girly colours and often find those for women tend to be short in length. Being aimed at men this makes this hooded poncho towel more roomy, so on me hangs a bit longer. I’m a women’s size 18/20 and 5ft 9.5 tall and there is more than enough room that at a squeeze I could fit me in it 1.5 times ( that’s if I was to chop me in half). It has a lovely soft feel and looks more like a terry towel fabric than something that resembles a chamois leather with wide half sleeves, an ample kangaroo pocket at the front, a hood and midway down the back something that resembles a handle ( I suppose to hang it up with). I chose the Navy and grey colour and currently wearing as I write this review. I love this and used if after having a bath to wear and dry off naturally to which it worked perfect. I was dry in hardly anytime and with this it doesn’t get like a towel which stays soggy for hours, it drys you and itself at the same time. So I gave been happily walking around the house with it on too. I loved it so much that I have just ordered a grey and black one, where the body is grey and only the pocket and hood are black. Let’s hope the seller can get more colours in the future

When it comes to practicality you see the benefits. You can strip to the waist, but on the robe and it is relatively easy to put your swim shorts on.

Opening the bag I was surprised at the sheer size of this hooded changing towel , it’s basically a three quarter sleeved hoodie which has two large pockets onthe front and back in a contrasting colour .
This comes to just above my knees ( I’m 5’6″ ) it’s very roomy with enough room to change when on the beach . I love that the towelling material continues into the hood getting your hair dry is a must after a seadip .
This is definitely a unisex item of beachwear and well worth its price ! as far as I’m concerned it’s a must have for the summe
We are a family of 4 who spend the summer on the clubs pontoon sailing and paddle boarding so these are super for getting changed under. This towel does look a lot cheaper than our other towels we have bought but having said that it is also a fraction of the price we have paid out for so for 20 I think these are a good budget quality poncho. It comes vacumme packed the shape of a rudgy ball and when it arrived it took me a few minutes to actually figure out what it was that had arrived as I thought i had been sent something I never ordered, but as soon as you cut the vacumme bag open it soon pops out looking like a soft towel but in much need of a wash and tumble. This has washed and tumble dried well, I like the fact the sleeve opening isnt too gaping as you dont want that if you are stripping off under it to get out of your wetsuit and changed back into clothes on the pontoon so thats a plus, this has a large pocket on the outside front area in a contrast colour, our other ones actually have the pocket on the inside so you can put your underwear in it and easily access them when changing, so its a shame this doesnt have that feature but as i say this is a lot cheaper than the other ones we bought so more thought had gone into the design. This has a big strap on the back, can only assume it is for hanging up the towel? but its rather large and a bit of a weird place to put it half way down your back, can see the kids thinking its funny to yank the person wearing it backwards as its a huge tab across the middle of the back. Not sure what the designers were thinking there but overall it will get you dried, would provide a good layer to sunbath on and great for changing under all for 20

I have been really impressed with this changing gown – its large, long and oversized to aid with changing underneath when wearing it, its made from a thick, soft and warm cotton / towelling material which is very comfy to wear and is fairly quick drying. The black colour looks good when worn, and it also has a hood, a front pocket in grey that’s very handy to keep items safe when changing. It also washes well, keeping its shape and colour, and works well as an extra layer on cold days. Overall, a great item and one I would recommend.
