Sturdy, nice grib, need to tighten nuts but otherwise great ladders
Works and not too heavy
This is an excellent set of domestic steps. The treads are deep and allow re-assuring grip & balance. It has a safety catch to keep the item open when in use. As one, who, due to age , does not balance as well as days paste re-assurance of the deep steps, safety lock, hand rails, side and top make this ideal for any domestic use [changing light bulbs, reaching those high and deep shelves ,reading meters, and no doubt eventually putting up, and taking down decorations.
Check components
This is a great ladder and feels much safer to use than ones without a rail. However, check all components carefully. There was one washer and one nut missing for fixing the rails. Fortunately, I found one of each in my tool box – otherwise I would have been really cross about either going out and buying the items, or returning the ladder for such a seemingly trivial reason.
Good product, but a bit heavy if you're elderly.
A lot safer than stretching on to 2 step ladder especially with the hand rails. A bit heavy, but worth the effort to feel safe doing jobs.

The steps themselves are plastic and the securing clip could be sturdier but it okay for my needs

The ladder itself is sturdy enough but the safety hand rails move a lot when using. Overall a good product though.

Missing screw for hand rail
Good ladder for price although missing one screw, bolt and washer. Which means the second handrail is currently not on until we sort it out.

You don’t want to be carrying these upstairs unless you are young and fit!

The rails come detached but were easy enough to fit, although the fixings were missing a washer and the tiny spanner supplied is useless. Otherwise, I’m very pleased.

Not too heavy to carry around, and really sturdy. The side grips make it easy to climb.

This stepladder is very sturdy but is a little heavy to move around
I got this because my elderly mother was trying to reach things at a height in her garden and the chair she was standing on gave way (she’s fine, but a bad bruising).
We put it together in a few minutes and after several months, this is probably the best gift I could have gotten her. The ladder is exceptionally stable and the handrail is such an amazing idea (so useful!).
The quality is very good and very easy to put in a cupboard. I am highly likely to pick up another for myself.

For: Nice wide treads to support the whole foot. Solid construction, not likely to topple. Against: Maybe a little heavier than I would have liked, but still ok.

Very strong and sturdy, good idea with safety rails on either side, only downside, quite heavy to lift and carry. The safety rails are a very good idea for anyone who’s a little elderly, but when fitted they do make the ladders a bit more bulky for storage, however they are easily removed and fitted.

Handles are worthy
Easy to fit handles on, not too heavy but not as sturdy as it looks, but I do feel safe on it.
Overall a good quality product...
But even fully tightened the safety handrail was still a bit loose. Standing on the top step on a carpeted floor the ladder is a little wobbly but within tolerances.

Nice handy step ladder.I like the hand rails for safety,feel more confident when using it.
I liked everything about it.Used it when decorating my bed room.Also used it to clean the high cupboards in the kitchen.

Bought this for Dad who is 72 abd a bit unsteady and as old steps were wobbly. He loves the steps and says he feels safe and secure. Not as heavy as som others say. I can lift them and am not strong
Very Sturdy and Safe!
The handles are the only parts that need to be screwed on, easy! Also great as extra security while climbing the ladder. What I found to be the best features are the wide steps, probably almost double the width of usual ladders, which made climbing up & down sturdy & secure. Also the large handle that goes up quite high, great for hanging on to, but more so leaning the front of your legs on to, so you don’t topple forward! A feature that prompted me to purchase this step ladder.

Great safety ladder. Quite heavy. Felt really secure with the non-slip treads. They take all of your foot, so no more balancing unsafely. Really handy rails to hold onto and nice rest, support, at the top. I almost touched the ceiling with my head. Fantastic item. Highly recommend this. Just ordered the (three step version) too.

Ok for the smaller in stature
Good sized side rails, steps themselves are a little flimsy and for a large person such as myself I need to position my feet well in order to feel secure.

We live in a bungalow and these steps just perfect when I am cleaning the windows, very stable and I feel safe stood on them – well pleased.
I bought the 4 step ladder, it just needed the handrails attached, which was really easy. I am not very steady on my feet but found this easy to use. The treads are extra wide so you can get your whole foot on it and with the help of the handrails and top rail I felt very stable. I used it to paint a bedroom and it was plenty tall enough. Only minor points are it’s a bit stiff to fold and a bit heavy, but a small price to pay for the stability

Easy to fold. Very easy to assemble as it takes four screws to fit handrails if they are needed. Good value for money as well
Safety First Steps with a handrail
All that we hoped for. Not far short of 80 do not want to take a costly fall. It looks like it will be a good investment.
We’ve been decorating our house and looking for something to do the ceilings. I’m quite short (5’2”) so I wanted something taller than standard step stools but less rickety than a ladder. This is perfect. Really pleased.

Sturdy steps
Very sturdy steps with added bonus of handle. Quite heavy so feel very Safe. Easy to put together.
Ladder itself is great, I used this for Pai ting my entire flat. I’m only 5 ft 2 so I had to use the top couple steps most of the time and I felt very safe and stable and had no issues the whole time. However don’t bother with the handles and they don’t tighten enough to be perfect stable, they won’t come off but they have some give and will rattle from side to side which gives an uneasy feeling. I ended up taking them off and getting rid of the handles and the ladder itself is perfectly fine with the handle at the top

Its a well made , safe, heavy duty unit but beware, the term “heavy duty” also means it is a heavy item TO LIFT. Also the actual steps are a few inches further apart than lighter steps I have owned.

This step ladder is great. I lost my sense of balance after a stroke 11 years ago and have been very wobbly on my smaller 2 steps step ladder. This one is so sturdy I was able to go to the third step and paint a ceiling. The side arms are great and really help with getting up and down and the ladder folds down to an easily store-able item. The legs are non slip and they really do not slip. And it was quick and easy to wash off the dripped paint.
