The floor type adjustment is basically a suction bypass so on carpet you get less suction.
The brushbar drive is weak – it tends to stall when steering, I never had that problem with my previous dyson.
It is lightweight. Cable could be a bit longer, a couple of metres longer would have been perfect for me.

I’ve had this hoover for some time now and I really like it. It is very light weight and manoeuvrable. The suction is pretty good – not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly not bad. I particularly like the long power cord. I can plug it in my downstairs lounge and have it reach all the way up the stairs to the bedrooms (typical size 3 bed terrace house).

Hoover Upright Pet Vac
I like the colour ways style and a comfortable large grip handle. Lightweight for carrying upstairs. Steerable nice long cord. Used pet turbo brush attachment which picked up decent amount of pet hair from pet throw. Be good if came with an additional vac hose to connect to existing vac hose so have greater reach. Like tools stowage which works well. Doesn’t lie completely flat for vacuuming under coffee table but that’s only a minor point. Overall I’m pleased with my new vac from Hoover and at an affordable price.

I am absolutely delighted with this hoover. I’m the sort of person who takes a while to make a choice, fearing I’ll be disappointed. I’m definitely not with this. It’s easy to move, it gives a lovely finish to the carpet pile, the stair mini hoover is brilliant. I have previously struggled hoovering the stairs with previous hoovers. The mini tool makes it so easy and suction is great, albeit you are still carrying the hoover with you as you go. For the fraction of the price of a shark, it’s performance is great. I previously had Dysons and it’s better.

Better than expected
Having using a Dyson DC07 for a great many years, which was an excellent, reliable machine, it was a risk to change brands. However, this is a good machine. It is smaller than the Dyson but lacks none of the power and has better manoeuvrability. It is much lighter.
If I would suggest any improvement I would have used a round cable rather than a flat one as it is less likely to twist up.

Good corded hoover.
Much better than the cordless Shark I had previously which quickly became useless. Nice and light, very long cord. Easy to empty and the on board tools very useful – only negative is that a longer tube could have been included and I can’t seem to easily find this in accessories.
Bargain price, bought for my mum age 83 because of it lightweight.
Mum finds the buttons you press to release the tools quite hard.

This is a great lightweight hoover for my small house and does the job in picking up from the floor. I can recommend this hoover which is a well known brand.
Highly manoeuvrable
I replaced my cordless Vax with this Hoover vacuum cleaner. The long lead means I can vacuum my entire large apartment using one central socket. The machine is reasonably light and unlike most other vacuums, is very easy to empty.
I’m not convinced it is working correctly as the brushes stop rotating intermittently but I will persevere.
This Hoover is not the most powerful and I don’t have any pets, and so it works for me. Others with children and long-haired dogs may be disappointed.
Recommended for small houses and average size flats.
Good value and produc
We have hairy dogs and two kids so need a decent vacuum. We had the dyson pets previously and would have bought it again had it been available but actually this is half the price and does a great job. It is lightweight and manoeuvrable which can feel a bit plasticky. The suction isn’t quite as good but as I say for half the price I’d have this one any day.

Its easy to move around and really lightweight for anyone who struggles with the hoovering!
The handle removes to allow more stretch and for anyone who thinks this doesn’t have enough stretch the hoover is so light you can lift it to give yourself a bit more.
One of my best amazon purchases! Maybe it could have a bit more suction but I am happy to compromise a tiny bit for the fact is it so lightweight.
Splendid machine
I bought this machine to replace my 14 year old Dyson which had stopped working. When I opened the package it looked like a toy compared to my old machine. However looks can be deceiving as it has proved to be an excellent machine, with good suction and manouverability. Having to disconnect the hose to use the tools is rather annoying, but that’s the way it’s designed. When the handle and tube is used with the tools for cleaning in corners the tube is too short and it would benefit with an extension. Also as the machine is so light it has a propensity to fall over when the hose is being used.
Until I repair my Dyson this will do very nicely thank you.

Bought this to replace our Henry that lasted for 10 years so was nervouse it wouldn’t compare to the power of a henry but it’s awesome used twice a day because of 2 dogs

I love this hoover. We couldn’t afford one before Black Friday but I have to say it was worth the wait. It works very well on carpets. We have a cat and we find that it vacuums really well the hair too.

Arrived well packaged and easy to assemble, just clicks together. Only been using it for about a month but the power/suction is much better than our old one which was to be expected. The best bit is the increased manoeuvrability and the extra long power cord. So far an excellent product.

This hoover is amazing, I think it might even be the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! Instructions are pretty straightforward, has different power suction for my carpets and hardfloors. I even hoovered my bed sheets that were covered in cat fur honestly pleased with this hoover.

I was looking for a lighter vacuum cleaner that could pick up pet hairs as we have a chihuahua who’s always shedding his hair.. This vacuum does exactly what it says and is a lot quieter includes several accessories. As lightweight makes cleaning the stairs a lot easier. Overall very impressed.

I have only used this Hoover once so far, I also had a cleaner come around and use it once. We both thought it was great. I was wary of buying one of the newer brands that had mixed reviews so thought I’ll try this one. Vacuuming with this is light work and it has a good suction power for my part carpet / part hard floor flat. I will edit my review if it turns out I’ll have problems in the longer term but so far no issues.

Very good for the money
Delivered quickly and easily assembled (mostly done already). Seems almost identical to the Vax I had to replace after many years – which I found good, so this is ideal! You can vary the suction and/or the brush rotation which is good as I have hard and soft floors, and a pet! Although they make a point of cable length it could do being a tad longer but is fairly lightweight and nicely manoeuvrable. WOULD recommend, esp if you have cat or dog.

I absolutely love this! So easy to push about. Suction is brilliant and sucks up all dirt.
I love how easy the hose comes off the bottom and the attachments attach. They also store securely to the hoover, so you don’t lose the attachments.
I also find it has a long cord, I’ve never run out of lead in my 2 bed house. I can do the whole upstairs from one plug and the whole downstairs. It makes hoovering so much easier and quicker.
I actually don’t think I have anything negative to say about this hoover. For me it’s been a lifesaver!

Bought as a stop gap until we could afford something better and our previous cleaner had packed up. It does the job and was reasonably priced. It’s not the best but the suction is good and it’s light and easy to manoeuvre. We have a small bungalow so does us fine.

Our old vacuum clearly didn’t pick up anything. This is just my first pass through the flat and frankly, I’m appalled at how much dirt and grime was left behind (mask for scale). Very lightweight and quiet in comparison to other units I’ve used.

Very easy to assemble and I have the attention span of a fruit fly so this is perfect! Quiet, it purrs. Powerful, amazing suction, easy to use attachments and so light, I totally love this bit of kit and would not hesitate to buy another one! 5 MONTHS ON AND I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS VACUUM. THE SUCTION HOSE ATTACHES ITSELF TO THE CLEANING HEAD WITH A VERY FLIMSY CLIP, THE ABOVE PHOTO IS OF THE TINY BIT OF PLASTIC WHICH HAS BROKEN (IT WORKS INSIDE THE CLIP AS A TINY LEVER) AND NOW MEANS THAT THE HOOVER NO LONGER WORKS BECAUSE WITHOUT THE FLIMSY CLIP SECURING THE HOSE IN PLACE THE FORCE IF THE (EXCELLENT) SUCTION BLOWS THE HOSE OUT SO YOU CANNOT USE IT!! HOWEVER, I’VE MANAGED TO FIX IT WITH STRONG GLUE AND ELECTRICAL TAPE BUT THIS HAS TO BE A PERMANENT FIXTURE WHICH MEANS I CANNOT USE ANY OF THE TOOLS!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH HOOVER!!!

Thank goodness for uprights
I have tried others but am relieved to return to a trusted brand with their latest products that are truly brilliant and get the job done. But also storage of an appliance is so important and the compactness of this upright means it fits snug into what is a cramped and often overflowing cupboard. The only downside is that I keep opening the cupboard to find it missing as the kids have taken it for their rooms and naturally not returned it! Well you can’t have everything I suppose.

Thus is a quality hoover which deals really well with our two collies and the hair and mess they leave. It is robyst, sturdy, easy to use snd yes quite light. I like the option of stopping the brushes which is good for the hard floor and when using it outside to clean the car. Overall, I rate this highly and worth the extra cost over a similar described Vax.
Makes me want to hoove
You know those adverts where the person scoops up all the dirt in one go? I just experienced that in real life after spilling some chocolate square cereals with that dusty chocolate powder. As the title says it makes hoover so quick and easy I’m almost looking forward to the next one , 100% recommend
Its a very good hoover so far, but the only bad thing is that the tube its very short and there is not an extention so you need to bend a lot if you want to hover the corners, without talking about the roof or walls.

Easy to use and empty, suction power is excellent for 850w compares surpisingly well with my old bagged one which was nearly 2000 watt. all of the parts detach easily to use as a hand held vacuum.

This hoover very good, suction good can swap between suction only or beater. Floor or carpet.
Not a lot of tools but adequet. Fairly manouverable. Quietest hoover ever had.
Only thing, back to restricted by cord but this is very long and can do whole ground floor 4 rooms from midway power point.

What a great hoover this is, it knocks spots off Dyson and it’s half the price! It picks up every dog hair and brings life back to carpets with it’s rotary brush. Very happy with it and in fact it’s better than the Miele Cat and Dog hoover we just threw out.

This Hoover is the best I’ve ever had!! It is very lightweight yet still has excellent suction. I have one dog and two cats so there is plenty of pet hair around but this Hoover gets rid of it very easily. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase!
Firstly, this vacuum cleaner works very well. It works relatively quietly and has an environmentally good low wattage motor The suction is good, the manoeuvrability is exceptional ( mainly due to the Dyson inspired ability to “bend” in all directions) and the power cable is very long. However, as a piece of engineering, I find this falls into the “retro” category. Back in the early days of commercial vacuum cleaners, all the components were attached to the outside of the cleaner. Nobody minded much because nobody knew anything different. Then as design progressed, cleaners were progressively “tidied-up”, with components gradually being incorporated into the main body of the device. This lead to the classic Hoovers of the 60s and 70s, smooth in appearance, smooth in use. Now we “progress” to this generation of cleaner. Everything is hung on the outside, or has to be put together from existing components. To extend the reach of the cleaner ( to reach high items needing cleaning ) the hose has to be attached to the TOP of the handle, after removing a small white cover ( soon lost ? ) . That means no proper extension for the hose is provided, but you have to re-arrange the construction of the vacuum to do this simple job ! All the accessories are hung on the outside of the device and can ( and do ) get knocked etc. The electrical cable is, as advertised, very long, however it is only a 2 -core cable ( no earth connection ). This is perfectly legal and safe I am sure, but really gives a “cheap” feel to the cleaner.
The cleaner works well. All the accessories work, once you have fiddled to fit them, but you can’t help thinking this was made to a ( very low ) price. Like so many new devices, the producer’s miserly costings have resulted in an item that feels less than ideal. Finally, possibly because it is a very recently released model, I have failed to find any of the big online suppliers of vacuum spares, who can provide a replacement drive belt. This situation should improve with time : it needs to, because we all know the first thing one expects to fail on this type of cleaner is the drive belt for the beater bar ! Sadly, for a real Hoover, only 4 stars out of 5 – “could do better” !

The item has good suction and is very lightweight. Cannot comment on stairs as used in a bungalow but is very easy to move around. Very happy
The dust container is large and lasts me a while before emptying. Emptying the container is easy and doesn’t cause any mess. The claw tool with rotating brush is nice and powerful for doing my bed which is always covered with pet hair. It’s quite light for my broken back and not a problem to push/pull or carry around. I love the look of it and the colours. The only downside with this Hoover is the length of the hose when using attachments, it’s rather short and because of the lightness of the vacuum, it will fall over unless you steady it while using the extension and attachments.
I also tried a Hoover Upright 500 Pets and that was too heavy for me and I preferred the look of this one.

Well balanced
Easy enough to manoeuvre without feeling too light. Does a fine job on carpet and hard floors, and easy to empty. Would see no reason to pay more (149 paid) for a vacuum cleaner for general use.
I’ve had this hoover a couple of days, I chose this model as I needed one capable of getting up pet hair. It was really simple to assemble all it needed was the handle clipping in and the attachments clipped on. It is very lightweight especially compared to previous vacuum cleaners I have used. It has a long enough cord and is super simple to use, the fact that it is lightweight makes it really easy to use especially when cleaning the stairs and there is an attachment for doing so. I really like that you can see what it has picked up, it’s surprising even when you hoover daily just how much is collected by a good vacuum
Positives:
– Really strong suction on both hard floors and carpets (we have hardwood floors and carpets in our house so were able to test on both)
– Very long power cable (we live in a victorian terrace so plug sockets are few and far between! this wasn’t a problem with this hoover at all)
– Very simple to use, very impressed at how easy/clean it was to empty
– So much quicker and easier to use the pet hair removal brush than to continuously brush our velvet sofas (check before and after photos) which drove my partner mad!

– Only drawback was the actual weight of the unit, it was fine for me but my female partner just felt it was on the heavy side when using i
The suction is really powerful. I like that the parts are attached to the vacuum cleaner so it’s handy to use, quick click and you can use a hose with different ends without any problem. The tank is really big so you don’t have to clean it after single use. What I don’t like is a bit too heavy and loud for me. Also, due to the front tank, I cannot vacuum under the couch. If you want to clean corners and nooks and crannies, you have bend and use a hose.
I’ve liked the hoover brand for many years as it’s always been reliable and I wasn’t disappointed with this vacuum cleaner. It is very modern and sleek looking and super lightweight which is always a bonus especially for hoovering stairs. It’s very quiet compared to some of my other vacuums which is a great. It feels very good quality and is easy to manoeuvre with the steerable base. The suction is very powerful so ideal if you have pets. It has a super long power cord so perfect for larger rooms and stairs. My only criticism would be that you have to unclip the handle to attach to the hose however it’s not difficult nor does it take long to do. Overall I am extremely impressed with this vacuum cleaner and would highly recommend!
I just got the product yesterday and couldn’t wait to try it.
Absolutely brilliant. It worked really well on my carpets. It was able to remove hair and pet fur that I couldn’t even see was there. I mean there was so much that I had to clean the brushes straight away. That was also easy enough.
Another thing is how light it’s. My previous one was very heavy and this made it super easy to move around the carpets. And the handle is super comfy. Very smooth.
I think the only downside is I with the hose could stretch further. I was having a hard time cleaning the stairs and having enough room.
Also really like the colours and accessories. Brilliant design.
