Bought some cheap hose connectors and they kept leaking and opening at high pressure. These hose lock connectors work amazing, a bit of plumbing tape on the threads and your hose will be dryer than a desert. Love how easy these connectors are to remove and install, connect/disconnect. Couldn’t recommend it enough

When this item arrived it did not seem to fit the tap. A friend came and fitted it, no problem. The fault was not with the product which has proved excellent, but with the inadequate instructions, at least for someone not used to such things! So a great product.

If you want to attach to a kitchen tap you need to buy a separate connecto
No problems with the product quality or effectiveness. Just be aware that the contents of the pack allow you to connect to an outside tap with thread on it. If you want to use a kitchen tap you will need to buy a separate connector that is not in the pack.
Good quality feel, beware of thin hosepipes
I used this for a garden hose. The plastic feels like it is good quality, and the connections don’t leak and clip on to the tap adapter and head securely.
My hosepipe is fairly thin walled, and both fittings have released it from their first tightening, but after tightening them properly (screwing the ring all the way) they seem to be holding on to the hosepipe without problems.

Great quality kit at a super price. Much better than the poor quality items that were supplied with the hose I bought. Worth swapping those out as the hozelok items will last much longer (uv stable) and are super smooth to use. Well chuffed with them for 10 quid.

I’ve had one of these but following a daft accident, broke my old one. Bought this as a replacement and it’s excellent. Plastic, but hard wearing. Simple to fit and so long as no silly accidents happen, should last mr for years.
I like the water stop; makes it easy to swap nozzles as the water automatically stops flowing when you take the attachment off. Really handy feature.

Yes just what we needed – we lost some of our previous hozelock attachments for some reason. Got the stuff out of the shed after the winter and could not find the sprayer. Also rubber ring inside attachment to the tap was missing. So brought this and all is well in our world again. Well as far as getting water into the garden and washing the car anyway!

A bit plasticy but fitted quite easily, maybe 5 minutes in total from opening the packet. Clips on easily with each piece and I have water from an outdoor tap that I can squirt at plants or on the car. Let’s see how robust is, and if it survives the winter!

Fantastic bit of kit and the cheapest price around! Everything you need to make up your own hose with an adjustable spray from a trickling dribble all the way through to a fine mist, you just need a hose to attach it all to. Nothing leaks when connected and the tap adapter supplied screws on nice as well. Excellent!
Great value for a Hozelock starter pack
All the essentials to make a new hose and connect it up to an outdoor tap installation. The shutoff end fitting makes it easy to change applicators without having to switch off the water supply, or get soaked in the process.

Exact replacement at a reasonable price
Bought to replace existing fittings. The last ones lasted years. The new ones are exactly the same; so looking forward to years more trouble free garden watering.
Fits perfectly
Bought to replace one fitting that had broken, the connector between the hose and the outside tap. It fits perfectly. The other items are surplus to requirements at the moment but will be handy to have for the future.

THESE ITEMS WERE PACKAGED TOGETHER AS ONE LOT and at a very reasonable cost–the nozzle was very easy tofit onto the original hosepipe and the pressure fittings were fairly easy to fit onto an original ‘no kink’ hosepipe .

Uv stability poo
These are ok but I always seem to be buying new ones, uv stability not that great which leads to brittleness, like everything else today they want you to buy regularly to maximise profits. Not that good for the planet however. I may have just talked myself into trying another brand.

Buy this kit instead of a single connection.
Bought this because the joints on my hose were old; one had cracked and started leaking.
As the other joint was the same age, it made economic sense to buy this kit, as the price of a single hose connection is very high.
Great value / price buying as a set and genuine Hoselock. The red threaded connector if anyone was wondering has a stop valve in it so if you remove whatever it is you had plugged into it, the water stops flowing immediately when you disconnect. No dribbles either.

My Honeywell Carbon Monoxide Alarm arrived a day early, great, unfortunately the instructions to activate it were in German language, I tried to find english instructions online without success, I then contacted Honeywell Customers Services to for help, waited 17 minutes but nobody answered.
Finally I phoned Amazon spoke to a nice lady who found the english instructions and kindly emailed them to me.

Bought for my mum, she needed 2 of the component parts and buying the kit gave us a couple of free extras so, what’s not to like.
All I can say is why pay more for over priced trigger type spray guns. This Hozelock kit is excellent value for money and does everything that any reasonable person could want. A simple progressive twist of the nozzle goes from fully off to solid jet and through gradations of mist fan.
Good value for money and if the car drives over the nozzle and breaks it, well its really cheap to replace, unlike its competitors.

Can’t go wrong with Hozelock. Having paid out for cheaper ones from the local market, I’ve ended up paying slightly more for these Hozelock ones and the difference is night & day. Not leaky joints at all. Don’t waste money on cheap imitations. Go for Hozelock.
At last - found a hose connector that doesn't leak.
Oh JOY ! A hose connector that doesn’t leak and spurt water everywhere ! My hose reel on wheels came with a rubbish connector that constantly shot water out and soaked the grass beneath to a soggy marsh – I then bought an Aqua Flow Hose Connector set which also leaked badly and was totally useless – on Thursday, with fingers crossed, I ordered the Hozelock Water starter hose connecting set and it arrived today Sunday – I have just assembled it and wonder of wonders – not a drip from the connections and subsequently more pressure coming out of the end of the hose. WONDERFUL !

Hoselock are the defacto automatic choice for UK garden hose users. They are a bit like the LEGO of the hose fittings world. You can buy cheaper, but Hoselock stuff is good quality plastic and lasts ages. I bought this set for a ridiculous price of 4. In a garden centre you would pay that for one of the components! Not much more to say other than it’s one of those few brands, like BIC Biro and Makita that I buy with complete trust in performance.
Best value way to purchase hoselock spares
Best value way to purchase hoselock spares that I’ve found. They work as opposed to just about every other similar product I’ve used and wasted money on. (If you leave them out in all weather they do of course deteriorate over time, but they do still to be more reliable if looked after)

These are so expensive in retail stores to find this starter pack for under 5 is a great buy.
It replaces the originals that lasted me over 10 years before the plastic started to go brittle and the seals started to fail and pop off. Not a problem after 10 years though.
I would highly recommend the Hozelock brand and a first rate delivery service from Amazon as usual.
I only needed the hose end connector, but the price was so good I bought this set. I already have the nozzle and other connectors, but it’s good to have spare parts. The nozzle is very handy to spray the car or grass. The connector make it so much easier to connect your hose to the tap. I wouldn’t be without it and Hozelock stuff is good quality.
AS expected- just wish there was a better nozzle
I bought this as I had issues with the connections on a Bosch pressure washer- this sorted it out. The connector that does not allow the flow of water unless something else is plugged in is a revelation – no more wet feet as I move the hose around etc. The nozzle for spraying is, however, relatively without purpose. It doe not focus water to an intense jet nor does it do anything more than a thumb of the end of the hosepipe would do. It cannot entirely reduce the flow of water – it would then be useful.
An Extremely Useful Hose Fitting Set at a Bargain Price.
Having used my existing Hozelock hose for many years, one of the original plastic joints had begun to leak and I expected to have to replace the entire hose.
It therefore came as a great surprise to find this Hose Fitting Set available on Amazon and at a bargain price, too.
Not only has it rectified the leaking joint problem, but the other parts of the set have served to rejuvenate the look of the hose completely.

If for some reason you only have a pipe and not the connectors – then this is a great kit and will get your watering in no time. The connectors make it way easy to connect a pipe and they are pretty secure.
The only issue is that you may find the pipe you have is ‘rubbish’ and you were better off buying a proper pipe + accessories – especially a drum one to keep it all rolled up nicely. In which case you likely don’t need this at all…
Leak Free Purchase
I only use Hozelock fittings, no other hose fittings last longer or are anywhere near as robust. You are always guaranteed to have a leak free connection & at the price I paid for these particular fittings it was a terrific deal. Highly recommended , other connection types are a false economy purchase.

The nozzle will not stand up to being dropped on to hard paving, as experienced with the first one I had, but in fairness, I have had and used it for years.
If this set is bought with other products (to qualify for free delivery), the roughly 6 I paid is good value.
Great product, but the tap adapter size isn't for everybody
Hozelock are a fantastic company! Reliable and sturdy fittings, the only thing to be wary of is the size of the tap adapter. My garden tap is 1/2″, too small for this pack. The adapter here is better suited for 1″ or there abouts.
Everything I Wanted
This package arrived promptly and with everything I needed, although I hadn’t realised at first that the white part could be screwed off if you have a larger tap. I do still have a small amount of leakage, however this is an issue which I may be able to do something about myself in the coming weeks.
The water pressure is fantastic, and I love that I finally have a quick release at both ends of my hose. I would 100% recommend this product.

Item arrived well boxed and as displayed in the description. All the parts have worked well. Connectors have created a nice tight seal on the hose pipe with no leaks (note if you have an existing adapter its worth cutting an inch or so off to make sure its not stretched at all)
Since our area now has water rationing in the form of water meters we decided that it would be expensive letting the hose run when we washed our cars or watered the garden etc. This hose fitting is just what we needed as it fits easily on to our hose and allows the water to be turned off or sprayed accordingly. It is heavy duty which means it can be stored in our unheated shed without any problem.
Excellent Hozelock product at a very good price
This is a well made product (as with all Hozelock items) and includes the “spray”, an “aquastop” ( this enable the end piece to be changed without turning off the tap), an ordinary hose conector and a tap fitting for 2 sizes of tap. Excellent value and with next day prime delivary cannot be beaten. I should say that the “spray” will go from fine spray to full stream.
We’ve hoses all over the garden. As i’m disabled I use a scoOter to get around our 2 acre garden, and need hoses everywhere as I can’t carry cans of water. We’ve got one on patio, one by first flower bed, one by vegetable bed, one in polytunnel, one by horse field for her feed and water….we’ve used hozelock for the past 13 years since moviong here. Perioducally I need to replace connectors and ends as they gradually degrade and get worn, but they do last a long time. Having tried cheaper ones that just don’t fit as well and last as long we’ve come back to the original and bes
Did the job
Buying this has sorted out our problems with a jumble of mis-matched hose fittings that had accumulated over the years. It contains all we needed from an outside tap attachment through to a nozzle through an ordinary garden hose which we already had, allows us to stop and start the flow through the nozzle without having to go back to the tap and has saved a lot of grumbling, even though the wife did have to help the husband with the directions on the back.
Replaced the previous set which must be over 15 years old and had started to leak at the joints – this does the job as expected but the ‘Aquastop’ end fitting is a complete revelation! Take an attachment off the end of the hose pipe and it stops the flow…its simple and makes me smile every time. If you’re a bit depressed I can’t recommend this product more highly.
