After reading reviews, mostly by Amazon customers, I decided to make this purchase of an INIU Power Bank, 22.5W PD3.0 QC4.0 Fast Charging 20000mAh Portable Charger.

Delivered in a plain cardboard box, inside was the charger itself, a thick mesh bag to keep it clean and safe, a USB C to USB charging cable, and a small USB lamp.

I was surprised by the weight of the charger, it feels substantial and it is very well-made. I particularly like the fact there is a numeric count when switched on showing how much charge is left in the product.

Unfortunately, the charger I received had zero charge and so needed to be recharged. I had two adapters I could use, the first was just not powerful enough, the second was barely average, and it took me over 12 hours to reach a bare 80% charge. A read through of the questions on this Amazon sales page pointed me to look at 18w adapters, especially the answer given early on by INIU themselves.

I ordered such an adapter and it made a huge difference.

Before using the new adapter, I charged up an iPhone XR which was almost flat. This is not a fast charge product and it took barely 2.5 hours to charge fully and used 20% of the available charging power on the INUI. I then charged up an iPad Air (2020 model) and this, again, only took just over 2.5 hours to fully charge – the iPad does use fast charging and so naturally that helped and the INUI power bank switched to fast charging as soon as it was plugged in. Charging the iPad took approx 50% of the available power bank power.

I have to say I was really pleased with the performance, the speed, and the fact this power pack can clearly charge up an iPhone several times and an iPad at least twice.

Using the adapter I purchased separately, it took 4 hours and 15 minutes (on fast charge) to charge the power bank from 30% up to 100%. It wouldn’t have taken much longer to fully charge had the power bank reduced to 5%-10% (the amount suggested to look for before recharging).

Overall, I am really pleased with the performance of this power bank, it is definitely money well-spent, and the large battery inside it means that whilst it might take longer to charge up (definitely buy a separate 18w adapter for this) but the extra power it holds will charge products more often before needing a recharge itself.

I can certainly recommend this product and, aside from travelling, it is likely to be essential during periods when power is out, as happens in a lot of areas of this country during bad weather.

Perfect power bank for when your are out and about or if your in the house can be used for convenience charging, lovely non slip rubberized coating that feels good in the hand and looks good, has a good size display to show the battery left or show when it’s fully charged, takes about 6 hours to fully charge on a normal charger and about 4 hours on a fast charger which is very convenient that it can take fast charge and also gives out fast charge when used with the proper cables, its mostly used for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G plus which it charges about 4 and a half to 5 times which is really good for the size of the power bank, its got a decent weight too, which feels good in the hand so can be placed in your pocket or bag when you carry it with you, comes with a nice netted carry pouch to save it from any scratches which I don’t use and the product isn’t showing any signs of wear and tear at the moment and it’s used every day, I think it will take a lot to scratch or damage it as it is build like a tank, you can see some thought has gone in to the design of it as it looks and feels good, comes with 2 normal size USB slots and 1 USB-c slot so 3 devices can be charged at the same time. INIU are making some great products at the moment as I have just bought some fast charge cables from them that work as described and look great with excellent design, this power bank has got to be given a 10/10 by me and I could recommend this product for anybody looking for a fast charger that is tough in design and works well. Comes with a power button on the side which knocks the power on and off and it will automatically knock off if left without a device plugged in so doesn’t discharge the power accidentally also comes with a handy L.E.D light build in when you double press the power button, all in all another great product from INIU.

The only power bank u need

EDIT, After receiving a replacement thanks to Karlin from customer service. the new one works perfectly.

OLD REVIEW The charging speed seem as advertised. It can charge my pixel 6 pro the same rate as the Google wall charger. However, the capacity is not even close to advertised. It charged my 5000 mah phone from 5% to 90% (4250 mah) and the battery bank went frem 100% to 65%. Which works out at just over 12000 mah.

I spent money on the iPhone battery pac but it wasn’t suitable for my phone, and you could imagine how much that cost. Therefore I got this and it has been able to charge my phone very quickly within an hour at most 70%, I like the light that comes with it also.

Saved me a lot of money and time..

I purchased this item, to provide extra power for kids tablets, and phones whilst travelling.

This is a wonderful power pack, and didn’t disappoint. I was able to charge an array of items with ease, before the power pack itself required charging.

Only draw back is that the power pack is quite heavy to carry. This is my personal feelings on the matter, as it may not be a problem for others. But considering how powerful this power pack is, I suppose this should be expected.

    I would recommend this item.

I use this causally, when out for a day or two and it gets me by just fine. The power bank holds a lot of charge and could probably charge my phone (S10) from 0 to 100 about 3/4 times, which is plenty for me.

I’m not sure how it would hold up on a long camping trip but it certainly works fine if need it for a day or two.

I like this discreet black lump of smooth metal. It does its job splendidly. Nice digital power readout- all you really need to know exactly where you stand. Have had three full charges so far and only down to 60%. It started at 80%. I intend to drain it fully, then charge it up. We shall see how that goes- but I’m sure it will be fine. Nice bit of kit!

This power bank has been the best investment I’ve made! It charges my iPhone quickly and I can charge my phone from 1% to 100% quite often before the power bank does need recharging. I would say it’s only downfalls see how heavy it is and how long it takes to charge the power bank from empty to 100% other than that I’d still recommend this power bank!

Will edit review in the future to allow time to get to know the strengths and weaknesses of this device.
First impressions… I really like the Display panel… handy to know how much charge is remaining. A few minor hiccups in the beginning (Another man who doesn’t read instructions) but it is doing fine and early thoughts are that it is a good bit of kit.
Strongly recommend handy that it charges by USB C

This power pack just keeps on giving. I’ve had it a good few weeks now and it’s still on 58% so I can’t really comment on charge cycles or longevity or anything. I’ve been using it to power a Polyend Tracker and a midi keyboard as there are simply not enough sockets in this house. I must admit, I keep forgetting I could use it to charge my phone!!

I’ve docked one star because it’s a bit picky about having two devices plugged in at once. Plugging in the second device has a tendency to reset or even power down the first, but it does let you have two devices plugged in at once, you might just have to do a little bit of plugging and unplugging to get them both going.

First thing is that I haven’t had this power bank (pb) for a long time.
It is packaged really well so no worries there.
The pb was pre-charged at 80% my Samsung S21 Ultra was at 70% and I topped the phone up to 100% in about 25 minutes. The display on the pb went down to 70% from 80%.
Remember to visit the site for instructions on how to extend your warranty to 3 years.
It looks great and feels great and seemed to charge the phone really quickly. I intend to run my phone down until it’s really low or even turns off. I will then let the pb charge it up and update this review.

    *UPDATE* – 24/10/21
My wife’s Samsung S20 was down to 15% the pb was at 70%. The pb charged the S10 to 100% and went down to 44%.
I ran my S21 down to 9%, the pb charged the S21 to 100% and went down to 11%.
I think I could get near enough 3 full charges from it. I think I’m happy with that.
I’ll monitor the performance once I’m able to drain the pb and fully charge it a few times to see how it performs.

    Good looking and great feel

I’ve been using this fast charge portable battery for about two months now and I’m so glad I chose this one.
I use it mainly when I’m at work to charge my galaxy s10, I usually plug it in when the battery is down to 15% or lower & there is enough charge to charge my phone to full five times and charge my Bluetooth earbuds twice.
Plus the battery holds its charge when not in use.
The only downside is that it is a little on the bulky side but that is a minor when it does have a large capacity so that is to be expected.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe power-bank comes with a handy bag that will be very useful when travelling and camping. It charges any of your devices very quickly, I would recommend using the type-c port at most times. I could change my phone in less than an hour! The structure of the power-bank is very smooth and great to touch. It has a very premium feel! The flashlight on the power-bank can be compared to 50% of iPhones maximum flashlight brightness. But don’t worry! It is still quite bright if you need it during camping and searching for an item you can’t find in your bag 🙂 It also comes with a little usb connectable light. It is quite bright for camping and being a night light. The light is white. The only problem is, it heats up very quickly, after an hour, it can be as hot as a cpu staying without a cooler on hard load for a minute. Okay, it will just be very hot 🙂

In overall, I think this power-bank is amazing. Its unique design encourages a lot of people to buy it and it is definitely the right choice!

    Very durable and fas

holds plenty of charge even for power hungry devices, well made quality device and with the digital power left/charging display makes it very convenient to use. If you are looking for a power bank for your tablets or phones this is a very good choice, be aware it is heavy due to its capacity.

Pleasantly surprised with this. For the price, I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so well-made. Casing, drawstring pouch, cable with protective end-caps! – all shows an attention to detail. Even came with a matching (and unmentioned) little book-light that plugs into the USB-A port. I was going to knock of a star for ‘Travelling’ – but seemed churlish – if you want this amount of charge then currently you need to put up with it being on the heavy side.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersThis item arrives in a fairly plain box, with a USB-A to C charge cable, a carry pouch and an interesting little reading lamp thing. It has a slightly rubberised coating and a semi-transparent display with a battery % indicator. A fairly dim LED illuminates as a torch if you double press the power button, just bright enough to help find keys. It is quite heavy, and is shorter but wider and thicker than an equivalent Anker charger I have.

I ran some tests on it, it charges at around 18w until nearly full on both USB PD and USB QC chargers, which is pretty good and as per the advertised specifications.
When using the battery pack to charge your devices I got 18w output using either the USB-C or USB-A ports while using my PD and QC compatible devices, this was the limit of the power that the devices could take, and not necessarily the limit of the power bank. Whilst both charging and discharging the port/display end warmed up, but not to a level that would be concerning.
This powerbank, like most, does NOT support pass-through charging, so you cannot use it as a battery backup for a device, or charge the battery and a device simultaneously.
When using a non-PD or QC compatible device I managed up to 16w, or 3.2A. This was shared amongst the ports. I was unable to test the proprietary 4.5v/5v 5A charge option as I do not have any devices that support this.
IMPORTANTLY whenever there was more than one device connected ALL ports would drop to 5v, and the 3.2A limit would apply, regardless of if any devices supported QC or PD standards. Devices may temporarily stop charging if other devices are connected or disconnected as this switching occurs.

Over current/power protection kicked in fairly reliably at this 3.2a and 16w limit, by dropping the voltage until around 4.3v then shutting off entirely, and resumed charging after shutting off without problem.

When testing the battery pack capacity I measured 13000mah at 5.05V during discharge. Note, the 20000mah capacity advertised is at 3.7v, so these numbers are not directly comparable. The battery pack is labelled as 74wh, my measurements made it around 65.6wh, which is probably about right with resistance losses and converter efficiency and is roughly similar to an equivalent Anker battery pack.

Overall, as long as you are aware that you cannot Quick Charge or provide Power Delivery to multiple devices at a time, and do not need pass-through charging, this seems to be a good budget option running in at under half the price of an equivalent Anker charger (23.99 vs 55.99 at time of writing), and also cheaper than the AmazonBasics charger. The battery% display is also very useful and much better than the vague lights on other brands.

The wife and I wanted a portable charger for our iPhones and after reading reviews of lots of power banks on Amazon, we plumped for this one. With a fast charging lead (purchased separately) it can charge up an iPhone to 80% in about 30-40mins, which is great, however this drains the power bank of about 25% of its charge. So, you’re looking at roughly 4 full charges from one power cycle when fast charging.

Charges both from 5volt or 9 volt chargers. Auto detection of voltages no guessing.
Output when charged takes about 3 seconds to switch to fast charging when it works out your device can use that.

    Construction is top tier
I bought the white one as I’m so used to dark devices I sometimes don’t spot them.
White one are a little more expensive maybe because of a limited availability I’m not sure but any colour would perform the same with good eyesight.
Percentage left display. Only ever gets slightly warm towards charge end. Never hot.
You can use USB a to c or USB c to c to charge
Some cables are in box but getting a nice one will last longer.

  20. ConcepcPethebri says:

Maybe has enough capacity to charge 3-4 phones (I’ve only charged the power bank twice so far). Chinese power banks are usually 75% efficient, and the 20000mAh rating refers to the internal batteries (probably 3.7V) – to produce real world figures, that’s 20000mAh*3.7V/5V*75% which is 11250mAh, so this seems to have at least the correct capacity.
My OnePlus 7 Pro reported it was charging rapidly from the USB C port (Accubattery said it was drawing about 1.7A I think), but it doesn’t support one of the quick charging protocols so clearly is not as fast as using the official charger – it took 2h 23m to charge. When I charged a Samsung phone, the icon appeared on the power bank to say it was using one of the quick charging protocols, and it charged quickly – it took 1h 15m.

I have had this for a few days.
Intially seen it look very good quality, very durable.
It has 3 outputs which is good with one USB-C which is good for futureproofing.
USB-C port charges faster than USB-A port.
    Slightly heavy.
I have my doubts regarding it being 20000mAh. I wanted to measure how much mAh it really had, so I use this power bank to charge my other Anker 15000mAh power bank. It charged the 15000 mAh power bank using 90% of the 20000mAh.
However it provide a fair review I will need to use it more and over the next few months if i remember I will try to give an update to this power bank. I like everything about it but the capacity is what made me put it as 3 stars, other than the battery capacity, I’d give it 4 stars.

    Edit:

They sent me a replacement and i am happy with it. This is good quality at a very good price. Feels good and looks good. it doesnt have the cheap look or qulaity compared to other portable battery. I give it an overall solid 4 stars and would recommend.

I can get several charges out of this for a 6000 mah phone, so enough for a week of travel without plugging in. Better for camping than one of those gimmicky solar chargers. Also handy to have in your bag for that occasion when you’ve forgotten to plug your phone in overnight. A weighty product but smooth and sleek design, and ships with a useful bendy usb light.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box, the power bank felt well made. Not too heavy or big, not that either of those things bother me. What I want from a power bank is quality and lithium polymer, with this one you get both. It states 20000 mAH, in reality any power bank will not live up to its capacity claim. The reason for this is that mAH is not a reliable measure for several reasons:-
    1. The conversion process depletes mAH as the power bank’s voltage is different from the various devices it must charge.
    2. Fast charging is done at higher voltages, this depletes mAH.
    3. The resistance of cables.
    4. Electrical energy is dissipated as heat, mAH being affected once more.
The rule of thumb is this, you can expect to lose about a 3rd of the mAH. So this bank is about 13-14000 mAH. I like this make, and I will buy another just to give me enough mAH for my needs. Recommended.

I took this power bank to a 4 day festival with me last week! My phone has a 4000mAh battery so I was looking for a power bank with a big battery life that also provided fast charging! This product was amazing, charged my phone from approximately 5% to 100% 4-5 times during the festival and would usually have fully charged my phone within an hour! I even had some battery life left on the power bank when I returned home! What’s more is I find the power bank charges up pretty quick when plugged into the wall using a fast charging adapter (the fast charging adapter was not included)! The torch is decent and doesn’t seem to drastically affect the battery life although I haven’t paid much attention to this! The cable that came with the device is USB one end and reversible android on the other end! This cable is suitable for charging the device and works well with the reversible Samsung chargers! The phone bank is suitable for other phones such as iphones however you would need to own an iPhone cable! There is also no adapter plug included with the product! There are 2 USB
ports on the power bank meaning 2 devices can be charged at the same time! The power bank seems to be good quality and displays the correct European CE Safety Stamp on the back! Although I bought this for the festival I will be using this more regularly from now on! Would highly recommend!

    Amazing battery life

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersUpdate-after being contacted by the vendor directly, they proceeded to offer me a replacement free of charge. I have received the new pack and repeated the tests I did before. I’m happy to say that the capacity is much closer to the 20000mAH now and I must give credit to an excellent example of customer service. The score has been amended to 5 stars now; 4 for the product (despite the initial issue with the faulty unit) and the extra 1 for the standard of service received.

I bought this pack to supplement holiday device usage knowing full well that my children can drain a tablet in what seems to be minutes! I was looking for a high capacity power bank capable of providing multiple full device charges and after a bit of browsing, settled on this one.
I really wish I hadn’t. I made sure that on full use, the power bank was charged to it’s capacity and then tested it using my Galaxy S20+ (4500 mAh capacity). With my phone at 79% power, I gave it a charge to 100% (945 mAh which should have used somewhere in the region of 5% of the power banks capacity). After 30 minutes to bring my phone up to full charge, the power bank has now only 68% capacity remaining. By my quick mental maths, this puts the power banks capacity at approximately 2835 mAh which is less than the capacity of the phone itself!
Just in case this was a one off, I drained the power bank down to 0, charged to 100% and repeated the process with pretty much exactly the same results.
In short, a total waste of money. I have attempted to contact the manufacturer for a refund but to no avail. Do not buy this product – the possibility of a technical fault is minimal (as it’s a battery at the end of the day) and I am mystified where the 5 star reviews come from.

I bought 2 of these Iniu power banks. Have owned various powerbanks but ravpower were the best for some strange reason cant seem to purchase them anywhere so opted to buy these iniu power banks.
    Pros;
    Fast delivery
    Long warrenty
    Built strong
Lightweight compared to the ravpowers and ankers i own.
    Fast charging time.
Charges 1 devices fast but only one cable should be attached. Wont fast charge if two devices are in the power bank.
    Can be used whilst charging.
Purchased the 100w iniu cables and they work perfectly with this power bank.
They even include a mini light usb cable which is AWSOME!
    Cons;
    None !!
For the price and what you get this is crazy. The specs on the powerbank make it a monster and for the cheap price buying a couple is a no brainer ??? These powerbanks are worth well over 50 pound all day long and are much better then ANKER.
I highly recommend iniu power banks !!!

This power bank is an absolute beast. It comes with 80% full and it lasted forever. I tried charging it after a month of purchasing it at it was at 44%. I fully charged my phone about 5 times since my original purchase and I’m still no running out of power. The only downside of this, but understandable, is that I feel it takes forever to charge. Plugged it in for about 3 hours and it charged from 44% to 55%, so I imagine that it will take quite a while to charge from 0% to 100%, but haven’t done that yet. Other than that, a great product to have. Portable, good size, decent weight, it comes with a USB to USB-c cable and small complimentary USB reading light, not sure if I’m ever going to use it but it’s a nice touch.

Nice hefty tough power bank. Re- charges iPhone and iPad no problem. I’ve only given it a 4 as I bought this to run my iPad marine navigation app. The iPad last about five hours. The plan was to then to plug it into the power bank and continue running the app. However whilst it charges ok it won’t power the iPad when running the app. It still closes down. Having said that it is very handy and I use it as a torch and portable charger. Worth money for that alone

I’ve only used this on a 3 day festival so far, but my experience with power banks has been awful. Most not working properly the first or after the first charge.
This one was amazing. I managed to get 4 charges with some percentage left over at the end. This is a massive bonus too, that you can see exactly how much power is left in % Charged my phone super fast. I love it!!

Haven’t been able to test it but the information on it appeared credible and the other customer comments tended to back up the claims of the product. Price was good and 3 year warranty suggested a reliable product. Appeared to be a point of contact should there be problems. It appears solid and well packaged. Looking forward to using it.
Update – managed to charge up my iphone 7plus 5 times. Obviously the amount of charge left in the phone varied before charging it up.
So far, very pleased with it. Just re-charging it on my computer and its taken 5 hours and almost at 100%.

Looks really good and high tech ,compact, finishing of the product is really good . Qualcomm fast charge compatability means if your phone support fast charging it will charge your phone fast. Please not fast charge works only charging one fast charge phone at time, if you charge two phone or devices at same time then it will do regular charge to both device ,which is quite decent charging speed. Price is super decent or low for such a high end product. The product charges note 9 from flat to 100% about 4 to 5 times . Have three years warranty on top.

    Update edit :
The product after one month of use start heating up and last night the charging port set on fire, luckily I was awake to find that out in time ,so I extinguish the fire quickly before it could blow up . The cable to charge I used was the one provided with the product. Contacted the seller for the explanation and the warranty.
    Update edit 2 .
The seller responded quickly and efficiently, it was a the faulty cable which apparently burnt the power bank apparently but even if to say it was the product then not a company as Samsung is prone to faulty product aka note 7 🙂 . The seller quickly replaced it , so my initial review stay true ,the product t is excellent and comes with excellent covered warranty .
Note to seller: guys keep it up ,your products line is excellent , so as your customer service and satisfaction efforts ,I see a bright future for your company in future to come .

    The best super fast charge

Golden Review Award: 302 From Our UsersI recently purchased this power bank as a present for Gary, 3 weeks in advance of his birthday, being my daughter’ partner.
This is relevant because INIU are sneaky by not providing all their 3 year warranty information with their advert. Just as well I decided to check the unit worked before giving it as a present.
Firstly inside the box is a card which states the unit must be registered with them within 2 weeks of purchase to increase their warranty from 30 days to 3 years, that’s an unrealistic short time period to have to register.
Secondly and much worst, when you do register there is an online note that you must actively use the unit for 5 days and then write a review for the extended 3 year warranty to apply. This is totally unacceptable without advising purchasers in advance and it should be discontinued.
So naturally I wanted the warranty to apply and what I found about the unit follows.
Firstly I like the battery capacity percentage indicator which is much better than just 4 lights that gradually extinguish as found on other manufacturers units. You can have just one light on and it’s not known whether the capacity is 25% or just 5%.
The unit came with a charge of 80% so could be used immediately. I first tried it on my Pixel 2 phone which was already 95% charged, it went to 100% very fast. Because I am retired and spend most of my time at home especially during the pandemic I never had any reason to use it again with the phone as my landline gets lots of use.
It charged my DT98 smart watch from 25 to 100% without showing any reduction in battery capacity. My wife used it with her Kindle paper white whilst reading in the garden in the sun.
This unit would be great for taking to the beach.
I decided to test that it recharged correctly but only for a very short period because a new lithium battery should initially be conditioned by running it down to about 15% then recharging fully.
I allowed it to increase its capacity by just 2%. The unit has a maximum output capacity of 20 amps and I used a 2 amp charger so to go from 0 to 100% charge should take about 10 hours. For just 2% being one fiftieth of 100% it should take about one fiftieth of 10 hours being 12 minutes which is about what it did.
Overall I like the unit but will only give it 4 stars because of the sneaky way INIU present their 3 year warranty.

Golden Review Award: 43 From Our UsersThis is Fast Charge on my Samsung galaxy s10 plus with the short cable it came with, with if you flip it around it chargers the battery and it has the percentage too. I use a Samsung cable with this as its longer in length to use still fast charge.
Battery is great takes roughly 5 hours to fully charge and you can roughly use it about 3/4 times with fast charge for phone, if your phone is on 20%.
Used on my outside camera as my plug wouldn’t reach the camera. This worked from 100% full charge on a 24 hour constant recording and it went down by to 70%. So i got 3 days of power to record. Has two inputs for two USBs.
A little bulky and has a bit of weight to it but still worth it.
A small light on the battery if you want to turn that on and a separate light that plugs into the battery that is flexible and is quite bright.
Very happy with this. Might buy another one for 24 hour recording on my cars dash cam, especially when going to another city to rock concerts, when things get back to some sort of normality.

Was outraged when the previous item broke after 2 months. I was organising a refund with Amazon which never happened but the seller reached out to me directly over e-mail to organise a replacement, which I accepted.

I like the design and look of the battery so I hope the replacement works well. There is a 3-year warranty on the product. If it does I will leave this review at 5 stars, especially for the customer service.

Very nice sleek robust design, clear display, comes with protecting pouch, a reading light and a cable, re-charges reasonably quick and holds the power for long time charging few devices at once.

The USB ports are upside down to my previous INIU power bank so the display with the charge % is on the bottom side which preventing me seeing it whilst charging certain equipment.

After raising the issue, INIU representative have contacted me with solutions to resolve it and also offered to send a different device for a trial.

INIU is really looking after their customers. 5*

I’m still keeping this one as it ticks 98% of the boxes.

So far its very reliable and easy to use. Can hold a very high amount of energy and has become a must have for my daily routine. My phone charge is never enough but this beast can charge my phone several times over even after charging my laptop too. Its very useful to have the exact power percentage left, its much better than those blinking lights other power banks use.

The only issue I have is that it will occasionally have trouble detecting fast charging cables right away but once you take them out and plug them back in a few times it works great.

Honestly even surprised at the quality of packaging, did not expect it to be this nice at this price point

The power bank feels great in the hand, nice and weighty. Battery life seemed good and it top-up charged my phone iPhone XS Max very quickly. I have topped up the power bank’s charge using the USB-C cable a couple of times, although I didn’t let it go below 70% charge anyway.

However, now, after little use it’s started misbehaving! It no longer shows the % of battery life left in the unit. If I press the power button on the side all that happens is that it flashes 00% then stops. When I plug my phone in to charge, nothing happens. If I press and hold the power button, the 00% shows up, flashing. The phone indicates that it’s taking a charge (the battery indicator turns green), but after a few minutes it returns to white, indicating that it’s not charging. The Power bank shouldn’t have simply discharged itself through sitting around for a couple of weeks, but I’ll try charging again just to make sure and update.

Looks like I may have to take advantage of the 3 year warranty, but I’ll update this review with news shortly.

UPDATE: The unit was deemed to be defective by the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement item with no hassle. The new one has been used constantly for the last week, more than the first was used in 4 months and I have had no problems with it. Very happy with the customer service and the product. Thanks!

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersIt’s matt finish, a bit heavy in the hand and allows for fast charging in and out on my xaiomi mi9 lite. Won’t charge my wife’s realme6 fast though but it’s because it doesn’t output 6A. That’s not a deal-breaker as the capacity is huge, very portable and lots of repeat charges in the tank. Will charge in 6 hours at 18W (9V x 2A) and output to that too but also has a lot of other specs and you can even put it on low amp output at a touch of a button. Has a lovely bold digital display and a pocket light but also a usb light for reading possibly? Who knows. Anyway, I rate this product highly and if you are thinking of buying one you won’t regret it.

Golden Review Award: 43 From Our UsersThis is a great device. I use it to power a phone used as an IP Webcam during church service broadcasts and it keeps the phone topped up throughout. I won’t need to recharge the power pack for probably 4 weeks using it like this. Only thing I would say, is that is it quite thick, much thicker than the picture on Amazon suggests (Although I should have looked more closely at the dimensions). So It’s not really that pocket friendly unless you have big pockets! Not a problem for me as it lives in a laptop bag.

I like that it came with a strip light that you can plug in. That’s a cool add-on which I may use one day!

    ***Edit***
The company selling this power bank sent me another complimentary. The overheating and rapid depletion seems to be better with the replacement although my charger still overheats on the insert end. I’ve amended my review to 3 stars to reflect this as the hassle of waiting for a replacement does not justify 4 or 5 stars.

One of the worst power banks I’ve used. Overheats when plugged in to recharge. And doesnt hold power for more than one charge of a Samsung S9. Constantly needing to recharge and monitor the heat given off whilst recharging. Device was at 67% and has charged my phone 20%. Device now sitting at 16% charge. Its small and portable which is handy but there are better out there.

Received email from INIU customer service, referring to previous review notes. Offered a replacement power bank to try as they suspected the original was faulty. Replacement received within 3 days and have been trying it for a week now. Initial results are MUCH BETTER. Current performance would suggest the power bank will charge my Samsung mobile at least 4 times from 1 ful charge of the power bank.
Great service and response from INIU customer services. Thank you.

    Original post, Mar 2021.
Having used this now for over a week, it will run from 99% down to 12% capacity on just 1 charge of my Samsung mobile. Phone has a capacity of 4500mAh. Appreciate you never get back the charge you put in, but the advertised capacity of 20000mAh appears to be well short of reality!
Having proceeded to arrange a refund via Amazon, now finding difficulty finding a courier who will accept one of these power banks to convey it. Be aware, before buying, you may end up being forced to keep an inferior product because they cannot easily be returned!

Very handy to have as a backup when out and about as can charge my phone pretty quickly and can last a while if doing small top ups every now and again. Can manage a couple of full charges as well.

Only issue is the display percentage left. Mine tends to die when it reaches around 50% on the display so I don’t know if this is accurate. However, since I am aware of this I keep it topped up wherever possible and don’t rely on it if it says I have around 50% battery left on the charger.

After first use when everything was ok , from 79% i carged 3 times , after i carged the power bank , after 1st phone charge the battery drop to 68%. When i start to charge my phone 2nd time in 30 sec the power bank droped from 68% to 0%. I charged again the power bank , and i try it to charge my phone. Even my phone has 35% , to reach to 100% , the power bank used 50%. Now i will see on next charge how much will use. Even the design is nice and the time to charge the power bank is low (around 2 hours from 0 to 100%), this is not warm me out because i need to use the power bank not to look how nice is. I will try few more uses , and if still not working properly i will return the item.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersSo far so good.

I purchased this to power my astro fi telescope. I couldn’t see in the specs if it did qc at 12v but purchased as it was pdv3 & qc v4 so should do.

My scope requires 12v 1amp (actually uses ~500ma). For now I’ve purchased a 5v to 12v step up converter cable

    https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07J6NYVJV

and have on order for delivery mid February a usb line converter cable that effectively tells the QC compliant supply what voltage to send.

    https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B08Q8LDLKV

The bonus for me is it should be powerful enough to power the scope and 2 other accessories at the same time.

With the QC cable I should further reduce conversion losses gaining extra time for powering my kit.

Supports QC 4 for 12v to power my telescope using a 12v QC cable

In summary, this is a great power bank, but with three negatives:
1] Unless your phone uses a C type connection, you have to carry two leads with you
2] One of them (the power bank charging USB/type C lead) is far too short at about a foot long.
3] The power bank is big and heavy, so not ideal for air travel or simply carrying around on a site survey for example.
The power bank only comes with a single 30cm C-type USB lead so, as I do not have any devices which use C type, this means I have to use this lead to charge the power bank. The lead is too short, especially for in-car charging. I then have to use my phone’s charge lead to charge it from the power bank.

If you want a power bank that will keep your phone or ipad happy when you’re in a situation where you can’t use your normal charger then look no further. This bit of kit is well worth the money. It oozes quality. OK so it’s quite heavy, but what do you expect for a 20000mAh charger? It is very easy to use, comes nicely packed in a box with a charging lead (you have to use your own phone lead), a net pouch, and a very good plug-in USB light which is in addition to a smaller one build into the power bank itself. At under 20 it represents great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 47 From Our UsersUpdated review – seller saw my original review, contacted me and sent an updated/upgraded replacement, 11/10 for customer service. New powerbank only has a USB C charging port (faulty original had micro USB and USB C). When I received the new bank I discharged until it switched off completely before charging, charges to 100% in a little over 6 hrs using my 3 Amp charger (tested twice). The capacity seems good and as a rough guide my android phones use about 10% each when charged. The new powerbank has now been claimed by my good lady 😀

The old faulty battery did not improve its performance with use.

Old review – Seems to charge well, full charge for an android phone takes a little over 10%. My challenge now is charging it, I have tried multiple chargers (micro USB and USB C) but it seems to take approximately 3 days to charge (37% per 24 hours) perhaps it will improve with time. I will update the review when I have more info

I’m really happy to see the new one has at least 80% capacity right out of the box! I was also really pleasantly-surprised to see it not only has a little built-in light but comes free with slightly-bigger reading light you can plug into the charger. I look forward to using it next time I’m out on a long journey to recharge my iPhone XS Max. The item is heavy but feels robust and well-made, as does the storage pouch.

I received the power bank really fast, it actually came much earlier than expected. It has a large battery life and it will be great for travelling. My iphone11 can be charged 6 times, which is much more than other power banks I used before. I also use it for charging iphone5, it can charge it up to 16 times, which is amazing! Maybe it’s not as light as I thought it would be, but I’m still super happy and would definitely recommended it! I ordered another one for my mum:-) Thank you!

Great battery I really love the display so you can see how much juice left. The quality is great, kind a heavy but that’s why i got 4 chargers on 11 pro Max. It has all the ports available the only downside is because there is no fast charging. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our Usersyou can tell by the box, carry case & bundled items that this power bank was built by a decent company that wants to make a name for itself unlike other cheap companies that falsely advertise their power bank as been 30k,40k or 50k mah to make quick sale with 0 after sales support.

for me this INIU power bank ticks all the boxes, Type C port, built in Led Light,2 usb ports,LCD display, carry case, extra bundled usb type C cable & bendable usb led light which is very handy when doing repair jobs like taking my Switch joycons apart where extra light is required to deal with the super tiny screws. i use this INIU power bank to charge my Switch console,my Vita Oled console & my Samsung A50 phone. it’s really great & compact & from Top Amazon Seller Too. Golden Review Award: 58 From Our UsersYe ha, purchased on a lighting deal, happy days, as this replaces a battery bank of around 5300, which is just over one charge of most new smart phones!

So, with us in need of another decent capacity power bank – this bank sure fits the bill perfectly.

This Power bank has a good clear display, and we all find the design appealing, as it helped set it apart from similar products, yet, it’s still pretty similar to many on the market, but the included extra helped and is a good bonus, as the USB light that came with ours has found a great use in our house, it makes an excellent night light, so very bright for its small size 😀

This bank might not be in the scope of the higher 25K+ ones, but for what we paid, it was simply an amazing deal, in all honesty, having owned for several months now, I’d even go as far to say we’d be happy paying the full price!

As since purchase, it has constantly been in use, it seems we’re able to charge and recharge all our phone and tablet devices, and it just keeps going.

And when not in use, our daughter uses for her new LED light, as it lasts ages, easily over a week. Yes, it’s LED, but it’s a powerful one with many light cells, and again, it last days when used with this powerful power bank, fantastic!

I bought this power pack because of a previous purchase of a smaller version of this one which I found to be great. My wife has pinched the first one so I thought i would try the larger version and boy is it full of power. I have charged my iphone x twice from empty to full and according to the display on the pack I still have 77% left which means I would get about 8 full charges out of one charge on the pack. The pack is quite bulky but you have to sacrifice something if you want the power. I now very often use the pack connected to my pad whilst I use the pad so its charging it whilst I’m using it. This is a great buy it comes with a digital display for % left. It also has a torch and a nifty little flexible light which would do for reading in bed at night plus a usb charging cable.

Golden Review Award: 101 From Our UsersThis is one of the best power banks that I’ve owned – ever!
Although deeper and heavier than my mobile phone, its actually smaller in length and width and comes complete with a usb charger and net bag.

This portable charger has the old style android cable to charge but also accepts the new style c charger. I’ve not had any portable chargers that can charge *from* 2 different type cables – I found this option to be really helpful. It does not, however, come with any form of cable for Apple products, so although you will be able to charge the portable charger, you will need to provide your own cable for your iphone and then carry a second cable to charge the charger if necessary. I don’t have any Apple items anymore so this doesn’t affect me, but please bear it in mind if this is your style.

I have a newer style Android smartphone and an android tablet, one of which uses the C cable, the other using the old style Android cable. I’m happy to say that I can charge both products with this charger at the same time as it is 2 usb outputs. In this instance, I suppose that you could charge any USB chargeable item from the charger providing you have the correct input for your product.

The battery charger arrived with approximately 80% charge and as advised, I used the charger to charge anything and everything that was USB powered to try and batter it down to zero and this took its time!! I eventually used all the power and put the charger to charge overnight to recharge. The digital display is really helpful and it is clear to see exactly how much power the charger is holding.

Once fully charged once more, I found that I got 3 full charges to my Android phone and a charge to my tablet from flat batteries to 100% across 3/4 days before having to recharge the charger again. Again an overnight charge and we were back on the go!

The charger has been unused for approximately a week in my bag, but yet upon checking it before writing my review, I’m pleased to say it’s still showing 92% full.

There is a small torch on the charger, operated by a power button that you press and hold on the side of the charger, I find this very inconspicuous on the smooth black, soft touch coating, but it is easy to feel this button if you run your hands across the charger. To be fair, I would probably use the torch on my mobile over and above this one, but this would be adequate for emergencies (power cut for example) or if you are out in the dark and prefer not to hold your phone out on show.

    Happy, happy customer 🙂

This is a great power bank, I’ve been using it to power a Garmin sat nav in a vehicle that does not have a working cigarette lighter.

I received it brand new with 86% power already on it, I charged it for 1 hour using a FAST CHARGER that I already had and got it to 99%, I then took it out with me the next day and used it to power my sat nav, I drove for 12 and a half hours that day and it went down to 91%, when using my phone and Google maps for the same length of time, a full charge will normally take my phone down to 40%.

You really could use this for days and days and days powering a sat nav without needing to charge it.

What I find really handy is the cable that it comes with is used to charge it, but once your are finished you can turn the cable around and use the same cable to power your phone or tablet ( Android ).

If you want to power your sat nav your are going to need to buy a USB to mini USB cable. ( Garmin sat navs )

I give this power bank 5 stars all day long.

So I have a couple of power banks but none had a display showing power levels. This works really well and when I start travelling again this will be the power pack I reach for. The battery itself has a great smooth finish and feels great in the hand. High end compared to some of the early examples I own. It came with a free light, which might be useful to some. I imagine using it as a reading light.
Very pleased with this purchase , charges my okhone quickly and plenty of capacity. Only criticism is it’s heavy but then all batteries like this are.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great battery pack for charging mobile phones or powering USB devices in a remote location. Very pleased with it, however I purchased this to act as a UPS for a Raspberry Pi and unfortunately, when the mains power is removed, the power dips momentarily causing the Raspberry Pi to reboot.

The item arrived 85% charged and I filled it up to the brim , quickly. It came with a charging cable that works to charge it or the item you need to charge. It has a good flashlight. There are 4 ports . two USB ports for in and out charging and a type C and Micro point. It charged my ipad fully quicker than the mains!. The charge used didn’t drain the item and it had plenty left. It weighs 354g.

    Excelent quick powe

Plus one extra USB LED light and shock absorber bag to protect the power bank ! Impressive packaging with protective cover for usb the ports and everything sealed in bags, like premium standards !!
Although I don’t see any information about safety protection against over current or short circuit in case you travel by plane might be useful.
Tacking apart that I’m 100% satisfied and recommend !

Fast Charge, good quality touch and really good packaging and transport !

Got a INIU power bank BI-B5. Very impressed, charges all my devices, phone , earbuds, gopro, smart watch all just as quick as their respective charges. 20000mAh is the perfect capacity have charged multiple devices multiple times and not even used half of the battery! The unit itself charges quite quick via USB-C (I leave it to do its thing overnight). Good size and a handy digi display. Added bonuses are an LED light on the unit a free gift and its backed with a 3 year warranty! You will be happy with your purchase!

    Power wherever whenever!!

I’ve got 4 or 5 other battery packs, all from different brands and of differing capacities. This is the only one I have of 20,000mAh, and I think I could confidently take it away for a weekend and be able to charge multiple devices without needing to worry about power. I really like the design – it’s functionally very useful to be able to check the exact remaining power percentage, and this is the only charging pack I’ve seen with this feature. The ‘finish’ is also really nice, so it feels good to hold.

It comes with two USB ports to charge from, and two USB ports to charge the battery pack with (USB micro + USB C), so it’s easy to refill it, whatever cable you have.

The only downside is that is quite thick and heavy, which reduces portability slightly, so I probably wouldn’t carry it with me every day (though it is the only battery pack you’d likely need for a weekend trip). If you’re looking for a lighter weight option, I think the same brand has one of half the capacity that’s probably sleeker.

Added bonus, it also comes with a free USB-C charging cable, carrying bag and also a neat little USB LED flexible reading light which you can plug into one of the ports. The packaging and entire presentation feels quite premium too.

Premium design battery pack with huge capacity and good ports

The power bank are well manufactured and came with already 88% of charge, and In less then 30 minutes my iPad and iPhone was fully charged. The power bank have a small LED light but really powerful. 2 USB PORT and a LED indIcator to show the exact percentage of power left.
Did order this power bank for a future travel and I’m really happy of my order, the price are great 19.99 for a 20000 mAh with LED indicator. Come with a little bag to protect the power bank… You can’t go wrong!

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersFor the last few weeks, I have been preparing for my holidays which will be taking very soon and so needed a big capacity charger in which i can charge multiple devices.

My most favorite thing about this power bank, is its LED Display which I love about it, it gives live displays of its percentage rather than those normal sidelights you get on other power banks. This allows me to see how much percentage a particular device takes away.

Additionally, i love that it can be charged by USB C and Micro USB – which is a combo for me providing where i go. For example, if I go to my cousin’s house they may not have USB C.

One thing i slightly dislike about this powerbank is that is is quite heavy but this is due to the capacity of the battery and so is neccessary.

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersThis is a nice compact battery charger providing 20000mAh of power for phones or tablets accordingly.
The unit come with a complimentary usb plug in flexible light suitable for reading or other uses where a small amount of illumination is required. The unit also has a built in torch light similar in brightness to most smartphones.
Initial charge time was around 4 hours and I have managed to charge my iPhone X 3 times so far with only 45% battery usage. Based on this I would anticipate 6/7 full charges are possible.
The unit has a digital LCD display to advise of remaining percentage of power left in the unit.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersAs battery banks go, this is really good. I’ve been using it over my stay in Mauritius. So I can comfortably it charges my iPhone pro max 4 times.

I was charging it during the day and used it to charge the phone at night as the socket was far from the room.

It is bulky but does come with a great pouch. Also mine came with a usb light which has been so useful on this trip. It does take some time to charge it but leaving it during the day meant by the time I would come back it was fully charged.

It does have a battery indication which helps and can be charged via USB b and c.

Most importantly it charges the iPad which was the biggest issues with my previous battery bank.

It’s pretty pricey as I’ve seen other cheaper ones but I don’t always trust if they are really 20000 mah this is definitely close to that.

It is heavy but not so much that you will notice when in your back pack.

I definitely have found it useful and funnily I’ve seen someone else using it at the airport in Mauritius. How bizarre.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersSo far this has been quite impressive. It arrived with about 75% charge and did appear to take some time to charge fully. Charging started out quite slowly but then seemed faster in the final stage. It’s useful to have the digital guide as to the state of charge. The power bank also has a built in led torch which is turned on with a second press of the on/off switch and it was also sent with an LED torch on a 6ins USB cable. It appears to be very well made and as a result it is quite heavy. (380gms) Recommended!
