Very good sturdy cleaner.
I’m very pleased with this machine. Replaced my 20 year old whistling Dyson with this cleaner which is just as sturdy and more powerful. I purchased based on the thorough review from the gent at the top of the list and I totally agree with him!

Proper Suction.....At Las
My new/old vac, stopped picking up, I was just browsing vac and came across this little gem for 80. I think my last new/old vac was about 70 but its life waa very short (not going to say the name out loud but….ssshhhh, its RHs) which comes a a slight shock because RHs is a good brand. Anyhoo…got my new new vac today, only problem, there’s one little part missing but i’ve made contact with the seller and I’m sure that issue will soon be rectified. For the price and its compact size, this vac picks up and my carpets are hoovered…at last and it’s very easy to use…..worth the money.

Inventor, customer service contacted me today and they are super friendly and very helpful, they gave me an ETA of 24hrs on fixing my issue re the missing part.

Originally purchased this item in April 2020, & very happy & impressed with its performance, certainly at the price.
It started to have issues with the turning on, faulty switch I guess, after about 20 months in. I contacted Inventor customer services, sent a brief video of the issue & within 5 days received a replacement vacuum cleaner!

For its price this is one excellent wee cleaner. I have had it several months now and can definately say it has replaced a cleaner over twice its value with ease. A nice set of tools for cleaning comes with it. I love the ease which the bagless box can be detached and emptied. I researched a lot to find this one and it was well worth it.
Great Hoove
I purchased this hoover for my mum as her Electrolux hoover that was 30+ years old finally stopped working.
She is very happy with this hoover, it is lightweight to use and she likes the varied suction.

Super little vacuum cleaner!
I decided to buy this hoover based on the other reviews. I’ve had it about 3 months now, and I’m not disappointed. Adjustable suction power is excellent, the power cord is a decent length and the carrying handle ( that doubles as the auto-rewind for the power cord when pushed down) is sturdy and useful. Definitely no complaints, great value for money.

What a machine!
This hoover is absolutely worth every penny. My home is predominantly floor boards and this hoover sucked up things between the boards that I thought were part of the floor lol.
Great suction on the carpet too (bit of a workout) but could reduce the suction if it got to much.
Not to heavy so could carry up the stairs to hoover. A little louder than my previous but not enough to cause issues.
It arrived early which was also a bonus.
My daughter is moving house and I am buying her one as a moving in gift because it is so good.

Very efficient! The suction power is amazing. If you use it on a carpet make sure the brush is on easy clean and not deep clean (unless you want a work out). I’ve always bought various Vax machines before. This does not disappoint.
A fine vacuum cleaner - and excellent service from the company
Provided that the filters are kept clean – the main one after each cleaning session – this vacuum cleaner represents excellent value for money. At full motor speed it almost lifts the vinyl flooring!!
The machine did develop a fault after a year – the variable motor speed control stopped working. I sent an email message to the company, which responded immediately asking for a video of the problem that its technical people could view. I uploaded a short video, which was downloaded by the company immediately. Within 30 minutes I received an email saying that a brand new replacement machine was on its way. This arrived promptly – in fact a day earlier than promised. If only all suppliers were as responsive as this company!!
A good product, with a 2 year warranty
A great product and does what it says on the tin. Very easy to empty, easy to store as not too bulky and comes with a 2 year warranty.
I have had this product since nov 2020 and noticed a sudden decrease in power due to some sort of issue with the product. I contacted the warranty department and after an extremely speedy, proactive response they are replacing it.

Quality Product - Very Impressive
This vacuum cleaner is simply awesome, I never thought I would be so exited over a donestic applience but the quality and performance of this far surpasses my old vacuum.
The suction power is adjustable and very impressive, it is not hideusly loud either so can easliy be used at night without waking the baby,
Its bagless and very easy to empty too.
Well worth paying a little more than budget price to get this though it still wasnt as expensive as many leading brands.

What a suction!
Update Nov 2021: still going strong with good suction. Had a little issue with the telescopic handle, but their customer service was first class! A replacement part was shipped quickly on UPS.
My review is for the red 3.5l with a digital diaplay. These reviews seem to cover different models which can be confusing.
Really powerful suction – forget Dysons etc!
Bought to replace an older Hoover that became very loud after sucking in some liquid.
Love the remote control on the handle – which makes this even more ergonomic to hold. The floor bit has two bigger wheels and small wheels in the front so on laminate floor you don’t necessarily have to use the brush ‘mode’.
The cord is very long so no need to keep pluggin and unplugging as you move.
It’s pretty silent too.
On carpet its true the suction is very strong, but there is a little lever on the floor bit which helps a lot. It deep cleans the carpet!
Durability to be seen, its not super light, but it does feel like a quality product, unlike Hoover (what happened to them?!)
Only wish is that it had a compartment for all the extra bits, but it has a holder for them.

Having used this vacuum cleaner intensively for 8 months, In a house undergoing incessant DIY and construction work, I can quite simply say it is by far the best I have ever used – including recent dysons costing 4 times the price. Suction is frankly amazing – obviously rather too strong for some reviewers, but I far prefer that to a hint of polite inhalation. Keep the filter clean – a foam section can be removed after a few months and dust tapped out into the wind – and performance remains as good as on the day it was bought. Quality of construction seems equal to anything I have ever encountered, but if this machine were to fail I would unhesitatingly buy another, simply on the grounds of its performance.

Took a major gamble buying this hoover!!! I’m not very good at picking New things but got lucky with this, really great hoover so far. Easy to set up and use, great suction which you can adjust and lots of tools. Great for price.
Great hoover, great customer service
The product itself does an excellent job. The suction is really powerful and even in hard to each corners, simply putting the nozzle near the area will deal with any dust in that area. The assortment of different head attachments are also great and we regularly use the small one for our furniture with great results.
At some point, as I was emptying the compartment, I must have accidentally unclipped the dust filter without realising and it fell out. This impacted the suction power dramatically so I contacted customer service who replied very quickly and helped identify the problem. Although it was my fault for losing the filter, they were more than happy to send me a replacement part with next day delivery. I highly recommend this hoover and Inventor as a brand in general.
I replaced with an old vacuum. It is a brilliant vacuum.
it is effective suction and we surprised about the ability for deep cleaning, as well compared to others less noisy. Easily clean and the filter is amazing. After used for the first time we have shocked about the amount of dust that the old one did not clean it. I advise you to buy it without any doubt. There is one thing may we exaggerate about it. It is a little bit heavy.

Does a great job on the dog hair. We are pretty tough on our cleaners but I was impressed with the quality of the cleaner in terms of build when it arrived. Feels substantial when you hold it but is not too heavy or cumbersome.

This is an absolutely excellent vacuum cleaner, wonderful suction which can be turned down if you need less, good for both carpets and hard floors and also easy to empty. So far the best vac I have had , including the expensive ones (which seldom last for long).
Fantastic vacuum and great value for money.
We’ve had this for 9 months now and it is a great vacuum. I’ve had uprights in the past but was fed up with the awkwardness of cleaning under beds sofas etc. Suction is brilliant and does weaken like all vacuums but once the filter is washed, it’s as good as new again. All of the attachments are great too and very easy to empty.
For the price, this is a fabulous vacuum cleaner! It comes with six attachments with simple instructions (and the text is big!). The suction control is great, on full power it sticks to the rug, it also has suction control on the pipe. I couldn’t find the cable rewind button for a while, but it is cleverly placed on the pick up handle. Love it so far, just hopes it lasts…highly recommend for the price.
Great little Hoove
This is the best hoover I have ever bought, I am disabled and needed a lightweight hoover to pick up my dog hairs I have a lino floor throughout my flat so was hoping for a brush attachment, when opened up the box and saw all the different attachments you get with this querky hoover l was over the moon. It has a strong suction which you can adjust and it is easy to store as it’s not to big & bulky it’s perfect well worth the money!!
Quiet Powerfull Versatile exceptional value for the money
WOW this vacume is so quiet and powerfull, does not fill the house with dust as the filteration is exceptional. The vacume bags are made with the best quality materials. The attachments are fanominal, enough to do every job in the house. The cable on the vacume is very long. It’s just a game changer for anyone wanting something that is better than any vacumes out there on the market. You will not be disappointed.

We use this hoover for the car,the suction is really good and you get lots of tools with it ,the only thing I can fault it on is the crevice tool isn’t very long ,so you can’t clean between the seats with it not being long enough,other than that it’s a brilliant little hoover,compact lightweight and bagless

Sticks to the floor!
The best and worst part of this vacuum is it’s suction power. Finding the right setting (and, more importantly, keeping it there) so that the vacuum doesn’t stick to the carpet is the tricky part. Once you find that setting then it is great – it picks up vastly more fluff and dirt than our last vacuum and guests have already commented on the cleanness of the flat.
Took a chance on a brand I didn’t recognise and was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend!
At first sight this looks to be well made and I think paying 30 more to have the switches actually on the handle is worthwhile, I like that.
Having the longer cable was also important for me as my plugs are all difficult to reach.
BUT….even on the lowest suction level and even with the air vent opened on the large multi purpose head, it really was difficult to move, I think as another reviewer mentioned you can only drag the head towards you…and that is very hard work.
Moving to the door mats, again suction lifted them but impossible to actually vacuum them…so….
I tried using the other heads and really the only ones which were manoeuvrable were the furniture tool and the pet hair head….which is pretty silly really as these are really tiny heads, bit like trying to cut your lawn with a toy lawnmower…
My carpets in one room are creamy beige, and medium pile, that was ok but when I moved to a mocha coloured low pile carpet I was aware that although the suction is so great it pulls the fitted carpet up off the floor, it wasn’t actually picking up my cream coloured dog’s hairs (not noticed on the lighter coloured carpet)…none of the heads managed to do this, not the turbo pet brush or the main large head, so I’m going to have to keep my upright just for some of my rooms..which totally defeats the object of getting this vacuum cleaner.
Having used a Miele cylinder cleaner on the same carpets even the wooden floor head, not the rotating head, had no trouble picking up the same dog’s hairs ..so I don’t know why this Inventor Epic can’t do this…but it really doesn’t touch them…or pieces of cotton or cotton wool…so pretty useless really!
And I have found it impossible to fit the bracket on the side of the cleaner which would hold the tube in place whilst storing…so it actually takes up more space than my upright…and really there should be some onboard storage for at least a couple of the smaller tools, like the crevice tool and the round brush..
Overall…it looks good, it isn’t too noisy, it’s not too light, but I would say it depends entirely on your floor covering as to whether this will work for you…..It hasn’t worked for me I’m very sorry to say.
Ticks all the boxes
I usually buy cheap vacuum cleaners, most are poor suction and quality. This one is the best I’ve ever bought, it’s suction is excellent and quality is very good. I dropped a star because it’s not a solid build so you wouldn’t want to knock it about too much.
The vac arrived early and after very limited usage, my initial review of this vac is that it was worth every penny I paid. The vac is INCREDIBLY powerful for it’s size and came with a wide variety of tools and attachments to take on every job I would expect and more besides. It is lightweight, easy to use, has a large capacity dust chamber and is very easy to empty with no mess. I was a little wary of buying a vac from an unknown manufacturer, but any fears I had vanished when I saw the quality of the product and used it for the first time. It may not be cordless or have a big brand name attached to it, but I honestly cannot imagine how any domestic vacuum cleaner, costing three or even four times as much, could match it’s performance. I reckon it could suck a cricket ball through a drinking straw, metaphorically of course. I am very pleased indeed with my vac and, after the few times I’ve used it, would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone that wants exceptional performance and value for money from a vacuum cleaner.
*Update*
I’ve had the Vac for a couple of weeks now and it has impressed me so much, I thought it only fair that I expand on my initial review, all of which I stand by. The vacuum is so versatile, thanks to the tools. I’ve pretty much vacced every surface and soft furnishing in the house. The results are quite remarkable. The bagless system, along with washable filters means it is free and easy to maintain. The generous length of the cord allows me to whizz around without having to unplug and plug in somewhere else every few minutes. The tools are brilliant. The “turbo brush” just devours Pet Hair, of which we have plenty, and it brought my stair carpet up like new. The fabric head has given my works van seats a new lease of life, in fact the whole interior looks new(ish) after a quick once-over. If all of the above doesn’t convince you to buy this, then bear this in mind. I’m a bloke and after 32 years of lifting my feet up whilst my better half vacs round, I have assumed control and forbidden my Wife from “messing” with MY vac, whilst I’m out at work. (She didn’t need much forbidding, to be fair.) It’s my new gadget and only I am allowed to play with it.
Bought primarily to use for vacuuming the car and integral garage (after I managed to break part of our upright Dyson). Bought replacement part for Dyson but decided it was time for a smaller compact vacuum with good suction to remove garden debris etc from the car boot.
Didn’t want to pay out for a bespoke battery Powered cleaner as the reviews are generally unimpressive with long charge times for short run times and poor suction.
The Inventor cleaner is superb. Small compact unit but with fantastic suction (in my opinion better than the Dyson). Yes you will need to control the suction via the slide on the handle or it can lift carpets but it’s simple to do. Like the built in brush attached to the hose tube. Plenty of Cleaning tools (no where to store them on the machine but it’s not a problem for me). If I was being picky the only improvement for me would be a longer crevice tool as the gap at the base of the front car seats is narrow and the tool supplied is a little stubby.
I Have no hesitation in recommending recommend this vacuum.

Fantastic vacuum cleaner!
Love this vacuum, I had a cordless vax and it was rubbish, had no suction what so ever and you had to replace the filter every couple of uses. This little vacuum was so powerful I had to reduce from deep clean to move it. It definitely does the job and its so easy to empty without leaving any dusty residue behind. Only thing I would of liked is a slightly longer cable but its not a bad length currently. I’d never heard of Inventor before but I’d definitely recommend and I’ve already recommended it to my mum as she has the same useless cordless Vax I did.

A Vacuum that doesn't disappoint!!
I bought this vacuum cleaner because I liked the way it looked firstly and the good reviews. I took a chance, it being an unknown brand and all that, but … I can honestly say that it is the best I have ever owned. The company that produced this vac have put a lot of thought into it and both my wife and I are thrilled with it. Variable suction power, easy to carry and manoeuvre, easy to empty, you name it this vac has it all. I can thoroughly recommend without a moments hesitation. Well done, the only way is up!

I was surprised by how good this vacuum cleaner is. I bought it for cleaning my Parents bungalow as their old vacuum was too heavy. The Inventor Epic made light work with carpets and hard floors. Excellent value for money and is preferable to some household name brands. Would recommended to anyone.

I have only used it a couple of times so far but it seems brilliant. I had to turn the suction way down as it nearly took my carpet up! Such an array of accessories to try out. It should keep me busy during lock down! I am disabled and old but find it easy to pull around and use. Love the automatic cord winder. Ican operate it with my foot so bending isn’t a problem. Excellent….and relatively cheap…..product.
Forget Big Brands, this is a proper Vacuum!
Having owned several vacuum cleaners over the years, including big brands such a Dyson & Miele, as well as own brand Tesco. This is by far the best! It’s fairly weighty, but very easy I pull along. The suction is incredible, lifting the carpets as we vacuum.
Lots of different attachments making every job a doddle, and all very easy to achieve a great result first time.
We don’t have pets, but do have young children who are just as messy as pets. This vacuum is used several times daily and has preformed brilliantly every time!
If you’re after a vacuum, read no further, add this to your basket and enjoy your day.
Overall quality and value for money
Liked and was surprised at the quietness of this vacuum cleaner. It is loudest at the suction head, not at the appliance. Amazing compared with previous cleaners. Manufacturing quality seems to be very good too.
Performance is amazing even at the lowest setting. Powerful enough to lift carpet ends off the floor so the dust has no chance!
Only ‘gripe’ is that it would have helped to have been supplied with (say) two bags; added to price if necessary.
I understand that Amazon will be stocking them after the CV19 restrictions are eased, but available from UK supplier in the meantime….. but two would have been good. Otherwise 10/10

Love this hoover. So surprised at the suction and how good it looks too. Loads of attachments. Find myself using the parquet as it does everywhere and under easily. If i want a really good deep clean then would use the main footplate. Though a disabled or frail person mighf find the intense suction too difficult but suction is adjustable too. All in all delighted
This has a high quality build and feels like a much more expensive vacuum. The head is a bit hard to push, but other than that the carpet looked like new on deep clean mode. It’s hard work, but the results are certainly worth it. At the moment you can only buy the bags from Inventor themselves, but they will be going on to amazon soon according to the chat support on the Inventor website. I have their dehumidifier and was very impressed with the build quality which was why I gave this a try and I am not disappointed. Feels solid and works very well! Just hope they get the bags on to Amazon sooner rather than later, much easier than buying direct. The bags are also quite expensive at the moment.

It sucks up dirt from deep within the carpet. Very reasonably priced!
It’s so easy to set up from the box. The instructions were clear. It’s easy to detach the cylindrical dust collection unit (by pressing the red button), then unclip at the bottom of the cylindrical unit and the contents drops out. You need to wipe things down at this point, as some of the dust clings to the plastic at the bottom of the emptying chute (on the outside and around the rim, I also wipe out all excess bits that are left behind. The actual hovering suction tube does feel a little cheap and flimsy, so I never fully extend the handle to help reinforce it and give the handle a little more suppo

What can I say, it was between the zanussi and this but I am so glad to have chosen this hoover based on the positive reviews Which was so helpful. Great suction very powerful and so quite compared to my last vacuum. Well worth the price For me a neat freak money well spent, have been looking for a small hoover for a while as mine has seen better days. I was sincerely looking to purchase the dyson but I’m so glad I didn’t as this is just as good but at a fraction of the price. Only Con for me It is a tad heavy but for the money and what you get I can overlook it. Very happy with my purchase
I decided on this vacuum after a month long search across many sites, definitely made the right choice. It is compact stylish and practical. Comes with lots of tools to take care of all areas, the nozzle attachment is so slimline it even goes down the gap between my fridge and worktop. Variable suction control is great as is the long hose really makes hoovering easy. Sucked up particles that I didn’t know were there. It is a gorgeous looking machine too, easy to operate and clean. 5 stars for machine and service. Super fast delivery. Would definitely recommend.
surprisingly quiet and powerful. The tools supplied are very useful, and work well.
Easy to move around, and the adjustable suction power very easy to use, especially, from the handle control.
Only slight drawback, is that I cannot find any replacement dust bags anywhere, not on the Amazon site, or indeed on the Inventor web site.
It is quite easy to empty the bag, but cannot get all the dirt out, especially the cat hairs it has collected!
It would be great if the bag opened at the bottom, say, with a zip fastener.
The bag has a cardboard collar that seems to have a specific size, that fits into a plastic unit inside the unit.
We’ll see how long the bag will last before it is no longer usable, not sure what will happen then. I will keep looking for a suitable replacement.
But, for now, I highly recommend this unit.

Rightly so. It’s brilliant. That’s all that needs to be said. Other than don’t waste your money on ‘named’ products, this is fantastic. Which has annoyed my wife as she bought the last one (Vax, rubbish)
Excellent vacuum cleane
This is an excellent vacuum cleaner, easy to to use and has a very powerful suction action.
Best vacuum cleaner I have found in many years; exceptionally high quality for the price. Performs like a miele or sebo. It is very sturdy, feels much better built than previous hoover and vac models I used at somewhat higher price – neither of which could cope with my springer spaniel’s massive hair shed. Both broke. This removed all pet hair brilliantly without clogging up or losing suction. It is a little heavy when cleaning stairs, but the suction power is amazing and selection and functionality of the various brushes is superb. Arrived 3 days early too. Delighted with this purchase.
Despite all the problems at the moment, it was delivered really quickly. I cant complain about this vacuum, it does everything it is supposed to, and it makes light work of a job i hate doing!! I would recommend this item to everyone.
Oh my Goodness! This sucks, but in the right way. Excellent product at an excellent price. My precious vacuum was really not cutting the mustard and under Covid-19, my beloved cocker spaniel, Freya. Is moulting all over the place. This cleaner has put paid to that! Highly, highly recommended after one use. And take that from someone who dislikes vacuuming!
The Hoover has only just arrived so early days….but very impressed. It has a huge collection of accessories (why is there never a bag to keep them all in???) Including a power brush for pet hairs which is amazing.
I hoovered a bunch of rooms when it arrived and its seems to do a great job. It probably does the work if a Hoover twice the price. Noise is louder than our last Hoover bug that was a Bosch that cost five or six times the price.
Some parts feel maybe a little cheap…only a little tho. Also the dust container is a little small so you might be emptying it more often than other hoovers. But maybe that’s because it’s doing such a good job at sucking stuff up!

Fantastic vacuum cleaner that does exactly what it says on the tin – it sucks up hair! We wanted a good vacuum cleaner which didn’t cost the earth and finally found one! I would highly recommend this product!
Quality
You read that all purchasers have given five stars, but must admit yes it is a five star product, not perfect, but what is, where ever there is plastic used it is not flimsy, it is certainly worth the money, and with a two year warranty.
Cons, only two, the tool/tube storage area on rear of machine I can not work out, and the where the metal extension tubes connect (and they are chromed metal, not cheap plastic) to the handle, it does not enter the tube sufficiently, so could be a problem in the future.

A good power sucke
The suction power is outstanding and there are many useful tools supplied, and a much better build than some cheaper machines.
The mains lead is just about ok , perhaps another few metres longer would be better, cable is a bit thin. But well satisfied with it at the present , time tells the whole story after using something for a long period.

This hoover exceeded my expectations. It has great suction and is very easy to manoeur around my flat. I cannot comment on its use on stairs, because I don’t have any.

Wow what can I say this is a top end vaccum and I am glad I paid that little.bit extra for this will be buying again and it does hell off a lot more then Dyson and other named brands suction power is really good and wow it’s so quit compear to other vaccums with that kind off voltage u get a lot with the vacuum like extra heads for pet cleaning hair and loads off attachments. Tye funny thing about this vaccum is it’s got no vedios on utube or much about it on internet I think that puts a lot off people off buying it. But some times we discover things by floke and I guess this is one some them things

I am very pleased with the Inventor Epic vacuum cleaner. The suction is excellent and variable too for lighter vacuuming. It’s not too heavy and has a good selection of attachments, including a finer floor brush – good for tight corners. Emptying is simple and the unit is sturdy. Delivery was prompt.
The primary reason for the purchase was the compact size of the cleaner, which was necessary for storage reasons. The cleaner that we had, and broke, was a similar size, costs less and has fewer tools. This costs more but the extra cash is recovered in the build quality, functions and features.
