Regarding the product , One big disappointment that i have as of now is , it doesn’t have mute button, If you are using for office calls, you have to use your office software for mute button, ofcourse we stay infront of the laptop
you can do it, but if you want to talk from a different room for a moment ( as it is wirless up to some distance ),
then you can’t mute or unmute from the headset. Otherwise sound quality is awesome and the mic quality that
i got feedback from the other person whom i interacted was, “Crystal Clear”, Initially i was in doubt as it has single mic. Overall it served the purpose for the price that i have paid. I dont have experience in using other high end headphones btw .

Comprei o fone para no precisar levar meu Bose QC25 para o trabalho todos os dias. O JBL Live BT650NC muito bom, confortvel e a bateria dura muito. Em comparao a fones como Bose e Sony com cancelador de rudo o JBL tem um pouco menos de definio nas altas frequncias, mas de maneira geral atende muito bem aos udios limitados pelas frequncias atendidas pelo padro Bluetooth. A construo visivelmente muito resistente alm de uma qualidade de acabamento e detalhe excelente.
Conforto
Apesar de todo o conforto do fone, em reunies ou escutar musicas por muito tempo aperta a orelha e incomoda um pouco, a bateria ainda no tive oportunidade de testar j q estou usando com cabo para fazer reunies on line e o windows7 no sincronizou com o bluetooth dele.

attraktive Mittelklasse mit klassischen Bedienknöpfe
Der JBL Live E650 BTNC liegt ihm preislich im Mittelfeld bei den Kopfhrern mit Geruschunterdrckung. Und genau das zeigt er auch im Alltag. Gegenber einem Modell aus dem unteren Preisbereich oder dem Luxussegment bildet er genau die charmante Mitte.
Er ist bequem zu tragen, auch wenn die Ohrmuschel je nach Gre durchaus etwas an den Rndern der Polsterung anliegt. Aber dafr hat man dann eben auch nicht einen allzu voluminsen Kopfhrer auf den Ohren.
Nach einer kurzen Zeit hat man sich auch an die diversen Knpfe fr die Bedienung gewhnt. Persnlich muss ich ja sagen, die Luxusklasse mit ihrer Wisch- und Drcktechnik fr die Bedienung – ob das unter dem Strich wirklich besser funktioniert, wage ich zu bezweifeln.
Die klassischen Bedienknpfe des JBL zumindest berfordern einen nicht, die bei der Wischtechnik gerne mal berichteten Fehlbedienungen sind eher nicht zu befrchten. Will man den Kopfhrer einschalten, bedient man einen federgelagerten Taster, fertig. Das empfinde ich als deutlich praxisgerechter als die Klapptechnik der knopflosen Modelle.
Vom Klang her wrde ich sagen, preisangemessen. Weder bin ich enttuscht noch begeistert ber den Klang. Der Klang ist besser als bei einem Kopfhrer fr 60 , aber erwartbar schlechter als bei einem Kopfhrer fr 300 . Soweit also alles wie erwartet.
Nun hat der Kopfhrer ja auch noch das berhmt-berchtigte Noise Cancelling. Und da muss man schlichtweg sagen, das NC eben einiges in Bezug auf den Klang verndert.
Ja, es ist ein leises Grundrauschen zu hren, wenn man das NC einschaltet. Das ist auch prinzipbedingt nicht zu vermeiden. Dafr hat man dann aber auch das Gefhl, einen offenen Kopfhrer auf zu haben, obwohl der JBL ja ebenfalls prinzipbedingt die geschlossene Bauform hat. Und ja, in sehr leisen Passagen bei mit wenig Lautstrke gehrten Liedern hrt man dieses Rauschen natrlich durch. Das ist allerdings wirklich bei allen Kopfhrern mit NC so.
Eine zweite Sache die man unbedingt bei einem Kopfhrer mit NC beachten muss ist, dass je nachdem ob die Geruschunterdrckung eingeschaltet oder ausgeschaltet ist, sich der Klang des Kopfhrers insgesamt ndert. Das ist auch nicht weiter verwunderlich, denn ein NC arbeitet ja mit Gegenschall, welcher die von auen auf einen eindringenden Frequenzen auslscht.
Dadurch verndert sich allerdings auch der Klang, denn wenn man Gerusche von auen unterdrcken will, hat das bei den Frequenzen natrlich auch Einfluss auf die Musik die man gerade hrt. Beim JBL ist es allerdings so, dass interessanterweise mit NC ein wrmerer, flligerer Klang mit weniger nasalen Stimmen entsteht. Bei anderen Kopfhrern hat man es so laut Tests eher so, dass die Geruschunterdrckung fr eine Klangverschlechterung sorgt. Hier also Daumen hoch fr den JBL, der Klang ist mit NC deutlich besser als ohne.
Was den Wirkungsbereich des Noise Cancelling angeht: es ist erstaunlich, was diese Technik bringt. ber den Wirkungsgrad bei den verschiedenen Kopfhrern wird ja sehr stark diskutiert. Ja, besonders die tiefen und drhnenden Frequenzen von Geruschquellen werden vom JBL stark unterdrckt. Was wiederum heit, hhere Frequenzen kommen durch aus noch durch.
Man kann das in etwa vergleichen, als wrde man beim Klang einer beliebigen Geruschstelle mit einem Equalizer alle tiefen bis mittleren Frequenzen komplett runter drehen. Die einen Gerusche kommen also durchaus noch durch, wenn auch deutlich leiser und weniger vllig, whrend andere Geruschquellen fast komplett unhrbar sind.
Das dumpf drhnende Gerusch eines Wschetrockners ist fast nicht mehr zu hren, genauso wie hnliche Geruschquellen, zum Beispiel ein Haarfhn oder ein Staubsauger. Da zeigt sich wieder einmal, es werden besonders dumpfe, drhnende und vor allen Dingen gleichmig tnende Gerusche unterdrckt.
Was Stimmen angeht, da funktioniert auch das NC des JBL wie bei den anderen Kopfhrer Modellen auch, nicht allzu gut. Auch hier werden die tiefen bis zum mittleren Frequenzen stark beschnitten. Eine Fernsehsendung wo geredet wird, empfindet man als deutlich leiser und die Stimmen wirken sehr flach und ohne Volumen. Zu hren sind sie aber trotzdem noch.
Das alles betrifft aber nur die Situation, wenn man ohne Musik zu hren nur das NC eingeschaltet hat. Sobald man auch nur leise Musik hrt inklusive NC, hrt man von der Umwelt eigentlich nahezu nichts mehr. Auch hier Daumen hoch, fr die momentan 119 kann man da wirklich nicht meckern.
Was die App angeht die man sich herunterladen kann, naja. Man kann neben einigen grundstzlichen Einstellungen, ein bisschen im Equalizer ber eine mit den Fingern zu bedienende Klangkurve den Sound anpassen, verschiedene voreingestellte Sounds whlen oder eigene Sounds abspeichern. Soweit also ganz gut, damit kann man recht einfach von Discosound auf Klassik oder Hrbuch umstellen. Das bedarf dann allerdings vorher einiger Probierarbeiten, es sei denn man wei aus Erfahrung, welche Frequenzbereiche wie verndert werden mssen fr einen einem selbst angenehmen Klang.
Fazit:
Im Vergleich zu einem gnstigen Schwestermodell aus dem Hause JBL fr 60 , bietet der JBL Live E650 BTNC fr 119 solide Leistung. Stabil, bequem, ein dem Preis angemessener Klang, wirkungsvolles Noise Cancelling. Auch wenn einem die neue Technik der Gerusch Unterdrckung erst mal sehr hochwertig vorkommt, so ist ein Kopfhrer in diesem Preisbereich natrlich kein Luxusgert. Wenn man was nicht auer Acht lsst, bekommt man fr das Geld einen wirklich soliden und in der Praxis gut nutzbaren Kopfhrer.

Die Lautstrke passt auch. Mit eingeschalteter aktiver Geschruschunterdrckung wird es noch besser. Umgebungsgerusche werden sehr gut abgefangen. Der Kopfhrer hat einen sehr angenehmen und festen Sitz auf meinem Kopf. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr wertig und der Kopfhrer fhlt sich rundum sehr gut an.

Bem satisfatrio. Comparado com o Bose QC3, esse JBL tem um cancelamento de rudo levemente inferior. O Bose consideravelmente mais caro, mas tambm mais macio e confortvel que o JBL. O principal ponto positivo desse JBL o alcance do bluetooth: vrios metros e atravessa umas 2 ou 3 paredes sem dificuldade, enquanto que o Bose s funciona dentro de um mesmo cmodo essencialmente. Bateria dura mais do que um dia inteiro de trabalho com bluetooth tocando udio constantemente.

Super Over-Ear Kopfhöre
Meine Frau wollte unbedingt Over-Ear Kopfhrer haben. Ich habe ein paar Tests und Berichte gelesen habe und habe ich mich dann fr die JBL Kopfhrer entschieden. Dies war auch eine Preisfrage. Teure Kopfhrer kamen erstmal nicht in Frage. Die Lieferung war schnell und sicher. Geliefert werden einmal die Kopfhrer, ein USB Ladekabel, ein 3,5mm Klinke Kabel, eine Tasche und eine Gebrauchsanweisung. Das Laden der Kopfhrer geht relativ zgig so das man sie nach kurzer Zeit wieder einsatzbereit hat. Die Bluetooth Verbindung ist unkompliziert und schnell, egal welche Marke (Samsung und iPhone getestet). Die Ohrmuscheln sind sehr bequem und aus hochwertigem Material. Bei uns haben die Muscheln komplett die Ohren bedeckt. Meine Frau hat einen schmalen Kopf und ich einen breiteren. Fr beide angenehm zu tragen. Die Bedienungselemente an den Seiten sind gut zu erreichen. Da der Geschmack und die Auffassung der Ohren sind von Menschen unterschiedlich, daher gebe ich hier bezglich des Klanges die Meinung von mir und meiner Frau weiter.

Really awesome sound and noise cancelling is also good. Music with bass is very clear and awesome. I tried listening to 3d and 8d sounds with the headphones and the results are very good. Don’t worry about bass effect at all..
Ear cup could have been little wider as you have to adjust. It may not be a problem for all though. Feels like air is sucked in the ear. But it’s better once you adjust as per your comfort. It’s not big drawback.
Finish is very good as well. Charges very soon.
One needs to remove from the ear once in half hour or hour if you are continuously on head phones so you don’t feel any itch due to the heat.
Definitely worth buying compared to models in Sony and Bose with high prices.
Just great at the price. Only support for SBC, still no problem with quality. Just one problem with this- you have to hold the earcups while listening to bass heavy songs when you have set app EQ to bass mode as it has a lot of bass when that is on. Otherwise it will make bad noise due to sound and air leak.

O google assistente ativado com simples toques no headfone, isso as vezes incomoda mas no algo que v prejudicar o uso.
TRULY MARVELLOUS
This was my first experience of using a noise cancelling headphone so I don’t have a set benchmark by Sony or Bose but the experience is good. The product oozes with premium feeling and the moment you hold it, you get a feeling of good build quality. Also thanks to Amazon for delivering the product so quickly despite the current situation.
So now, I have been using them for 3-4 days and here are my thoughts:-
The build quality at first feels that it’s a little stiff but now it has become very comfortable
The instrument separation and bass is very good. The surround sound experience in them is a treat.
The noise cancelling is really good. Can’t hear anything but music when it’s on.

O produto timo, bem embalado, com dois cabos (sendo o tradicional plug feito de material durvel), o acabamento do headphone incrvel nos detalhes, na ala com textura, alm da bateria durar as 20h prometidas. O Bluetooth talvez pudesse ter um alcance maior, mas nada que atrapalhe a experincia. O isolamento de rudo no 100%, barulhos muito altos passam por ele, mas o suficiente para voc esquecer do som ao redor, no se incomodar com nada, sumir com sons de carro na rua, ar condicionado, gente falando por perto, etc.
Recomendo para quem busca um produto de qualidade, que d gosto de tirar da caixa e comear a usar, sem precisar gastar algo em torno de 3k, que s um produtor musical ou algum que trabalhe com msica sentiria a diferena.

Verbindung zu Alex ist ein wenig schwierig mal klappt es mal klappt es nicht… man kommt schnell auf die Ohrmuschel und startet” Alex oder Google…
Was ich nicht gut finde ist, dass der Knopf zum weiter drcken zwischen den Lauter und leiser Knpfen ist…
die Knpfe sind generell sehr klein und man muss ich merken welcher wo ist da alle Knpfe auf einer Ohrseite platziert wurden.
Wenn das Noise cancelling aus ist, dann merkt man schon dass der Ton nicht richtig richtig top ist Vorallem bei Bssen aber ich empfinde das nicht als so negativ die Kopfhrer nicht mehr zu tragen.
Dennoch zufrieden und trage sie trglich! Das Akku hlt auch was es verspricht .
Da die Ohren komplett bedeckt sind tragen sich die Kopfhrer auch auf lange Dauer sehr angenehm!

Comparado a similares um timo preo. Excelente no isolamento, som perfeito, funcionalidade tima da Alexa. Para ligaes melhor usar o cabo, mas restante das funes todas compatveis. Bateria de boa durao.
Vengo de unos PCX550 y salvo por el ANC, no tiene nada que envidiarles. El ANC no vale mucho, algo hace pero poco, nada que ver con la gama dedicada a ello de Sony Sennheisser o Bose. En cuanto al sonido es mucho ms potente que los sennheiser que tenia los cuales se escuchaban generalmente flojos y as normal que tengan calidad de sonido. Estos son ms de mi estilo, con ms graves y ms potencia cuando la necesito, la sincronizacin por bluetooth funciona genial.

A bateria aguenta o tranco, estou usando a mais de 3 dias e ainda esta com 80% da carga. Bluetooth conecta super rpido e muito fcil de ser ligado. O nico detalhe que no gostei so os leeds, em um ambiente sem iluminao fica como se estivessemos com 02 lanternas ligadas, nada que uma fita isolante no resolva rss. O material e o acabamento fantastico, o som perfeito, o aplicativo funciona super bem e d a opo equalizao, alm de tudo isso muito lindo. Super recomendo!!!
Vengo de unos PCX550 y salvo por el ANC, no tiene nada que envidiarles. El ANC no vale mucho, algo hace pero poco, nada que ver con la gama dedicada a ello de Sony Sennheisser o Bose. En cuanto al sonido es mucho ms potente que los sennheiser que tenia los cuales se escuchaban generalmente flojos y as normal que tengan calidad de sonido. Estos son ms de mi estilo, con ms graves y ms potencia cuando la necesito, la sincronizacin por bluetooth funciona genial.

um bom fone, no entanto o preo um pouco alto.
Tolles Hörvergnügen, es tut sich eine ganz neue Welt auf!
Verwende die Kopfhrer nun schon fr zwei Wochen jeden Tag und mit vollstens zufrieden. Der Klang ist, v.a. im Noise Cancelling Modus, sehr satt und man hrt kaum Strgerusche vom Umfeld. Stimmen und unregelmige Gerusche dringen besser durch als monotone, wiederkehrende, die eigene Stimme und das eigene Pfeifen hrt man hingegen fast gar nicht mehr… auch ein interessantes Gefhl. Um keine Ablenkung beim Musikhren zu haben muss man so nicht mehr unendlich laut machen um alles andere auszublenden, man kann sich auch bei angenehmer und sogar leiser Lautstrke von der Auenwelt abschirmen. Leute um einen herum hren bei aufgesetzten Kopfhrern rein gar nichts vom Abgespielten, lediglich wenn man die Kopfhrer nicht angelegt hat.
Bei zweiwchiger tglicher Benutzung habe ich den Akku bisher nur ein einziges Mal aufladen mssen, dabei ist der Akku bzw. der Kopfhrer noch nicht mal schwerer.
Pairing klappt binnen Sekunden, telefonieren damit ist auch ganz unkompliziert.
Den Google bzw. Alexa-Sprachassistent bentige ich nun nicht unbedingt und habe diesen einfach per App deaktiviert.
Drückt an den Ohre
Dieser Kopfhrer war als Nachfolger fr meinen zerbrochenen Sony MDR-1RBT gedacht. Aufgrund der enttuschenden Lebensdauer des Sony habe ich mich eine Preisklasse niedriger fr den JBL entschieden. Die Qualitt ist insgesamt wirklich gut, dennoch ist anzumerken, dass sich der Preisunterschied in einem etwas “dumpferen” Klangbild wiederspiegelt. Das ist aber “Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Trotzdem habe ich mich entschieden den Kopfhrer wieder zurckzusenden. Grund dafr ist nicht die Qualitt des Kopfhrers, sondern die zu geringe Gre der “Ohrmuscheln”. Beim Tragen drckt der Kopfhrer unangenehm auf meine Ohren, so dass es nach wenigen Minuten schmerzt und mir ein “entspanntes Musikhren” nicht mglich ist. Die Gre meiner Ohren mchte ich als “durchschnittlich” beschreiben. Kinder und die meisten Frauen haben vermutlich kein Problem mit diesem Kopfhrer, Trger von ausgewachsenen “Mnnerohren” sollten sich nach einem greren Modell umsehen.

Many a night my wife puts these on and listens to music, i can’t hear what she is listening to, and she doesn’t what to listen to me.. or i have to communicate using the sign language. She says the music and youtube vids, from her phone sounds great, and for me the price is decent for them.

I’ve had quite a few headphones in my time from companies like Bose and Sennheiser albeit not the at the very high end, certainly several hundred pounds worth of good and these headphones are right up there. If I’m being fussy then the noise cancelling is not as good as the best Sennheisers I’ve had. Anyway enough of the comparative here’s the empirical:
I found these headphones to be very comfortable and adjustment to optimise the fit very easy with just the right amount of resistance not to move when you’re moving around with them. The over ear pads are supremely comfortable, I mean I’ve fallen asleep wearing these listening to chill out tunes, and the headband has enough texture to grip your hair/head to not move during use front to back. They just seem optimised in terms of their build, the materials used and the build quality. They are definitely worth the money.
In terms of sound quality the noise cancelling does make a noticeable difference to some of the mid range and the bass is never quite enough but pretty good. Maybe i was spoiled by the Sennheisers. Whoops slipped back to the comparative narrative there. One thing I noticed in use was the volume level didn’t stay where you left it the last time you disconnected. Not sure if this was the headphones fault or some dodgy Apple coding. They are very loud and if you don’t notice the volume is on maximum it can give you a bit of a start!
I never used the Alexa/google assistant stuff as I mostly have that turned off. If I wanted people to eavesdrop on my conversations I’d open a window and shout. However I did use them to make phone calls and they worked pretty well with or without the cord. The battery life was about what was promised in the blurb and they would recharge even from low power USB sockets unlike my iPad.
Overall these are blinding value for money and I would be happy to replace these for the same with my own money if they broke. Considering they cost a fraction of what my noise cancelling Sennheisers cost me (even they eventually broke, a victim of my clumsiness), they are stonking good value. So even though the NC and Sound isn’t up to the same level as my old Sennheisers, I’m still going to give them a well deserved five stars.

E sobre o cancelamento de rudo, muito bom pro valor do fone. Com o cancelamento ligado, com msicas em 40% do volume total j capaz de ouvir apenas cerca de 15% do barulho externo. timo pra quem quer andar de transporte pblico sem ser incomodado.
Vale lembrar que o cancelamento de rudo funciona melhor e/ou apenas com graves. Os sons agudos no so cancelados.
E por ltimo, a bateria excelente tambm! Com o cancelamento de rudo ligado so 20h de uso, como prometido pela marca.

Excellent battery life but Noise Cancelling depends on speaker position on ea
Overall sound quality is excellent, on NC (Noise Cancelling) mode without music playing (to quieten office noise) battery is excellent (over 30 hours). However the NC is quite sensitive to the position of the speaker on the ear, without positioning correctly there is an quiet hiss. As soon as music is playing this is drowned out.
Connection with multiple BT devices doesn’t work as well as I would have hoped. Phone calls work well
Function and design these are brilliant, the one drawback is it has a B type charger port not c type. It does come with a carry bag and an aux cable in case your battery runs out while your out and about. The sound cancelling feature is one of the best I’ve experienced.

JBL LIVE 650BTNC Wireless Over-Ear Noise-Cancelling Headphones with Alexa built-in are a good sounding set of over-ear headphones. I found the headphones were easy to pair and it was a very quick process.
The headphones provide excellent sound quality as well as noise-cancelling to make sure the sounds you hear from the headphones is at the best quality of sound possible.
Another bonus for me is the fact they are very comfortable to wear and once positioned correctly there is no slippage or other disturbing factors.

Desde que recebi os fones, fiquei diversas horas usando (inclusive deitado) e no me incomodou em nada. O desenho envolve bem as orelhas e os rudos externos so bem atenuados (estou usando o cancelador de rudos). J testei no celular e no notebook e a conexo simultnea funciona bem. Ligao telefnica funcionou bem.

These are a decent pair of headphones for the price. The sound quality is very good and the built quality is not bad. It’s got a reliable wireless connection. The only thing I dislike it the touch for the assistant, it so easily triggered. Luckily it’s an optional feature which I have turned off.

imo produto em custo benefcio, tem um valor bom para o que oferece, a qualidade de som muito boa, no excelente pela falta de extra bass, mas mesmo assim muito boa e o aplicativo da JBL ajuda muito a personalizar o som para a forma que melhor lhe agrade, a funo ajudante do google funiona bem, o isolamento de rudo no perfeito mas ajuda. Um headphone com um som e isolamento melhor que este voc provavelmente pagar o dobro do preo que este custa, a vai de cada um.

Good headphones, decent noise cancelling (or rather noise reduction) in most cases with audio podcasts, with music the external sounds fade away. Not great in windy conditions ie. not greats companion for outdoor walks

I am into bass-heavy songs so usually go for deep bass headphones, usually the Sony Extra Bass series. However what you find with those headphones is that the bass is very muddy. Not so with this JBL Live 650BTNC. The lows, mids and highs are handled wonderfully. The sound is also very loud, so you will not need to listen at full volume to enjoy your music fully. The negatives? The button controls are not very intuitive, so you have to take extra care to press buttons, or know which button you are actually pressing! Also, although you have bluetooth multipoint, and so 2 devices can be connected simultaneously, you will find the next time you switch the headphones on, you are only connected to the last device you connected to. So you have to manually connect the 2nd device. Which is pants really.

Button sizes are small, takes time to adjust.
To change songs via headset, you’ve to hold volume up button for 3 secs, that’s annoying sometimes.
Bass level is moderate. But that’s ok. High bass seekers may not like it.
Overall, it’s an excellent buy.

Honest Product Review
At first i received a defective product because there wasn’t any bass till i had to maximize the sound level and even the left hand side was making a mechanical sound. I was really disappointed.
Then i requested for a replacement and got them after a few days but this time i got the product right. As everything is in good shape and even the bass is good and deep.
Just the noise cancellation is not upto the point but at this price i don’t think there’s any better product with such a good sound and bass as compared to sony, skullcandy and senneheiser.
The design is really cool and the product is very sturdy. The sound quality is just awesome with deep bass but not earthquake like. It’s too comfy and one can listen upto 5-6 hours straight. Here’s the product review:-

Qualit sonore au top.
Casque avec des basses bien prononces et le reste du spectre est juste ultra clair avec une bonne spatialisation du son et des dtails plus que correct,.
Niveau confort a sert un peu au dbut mais avec le temps on s’y habitue et les coussinets reste moelleux, je l’utilise pour mes sances de footing c’est parfait.
Dernier point rduction de bruit active qui est plutt mauvaise j’avais achet un casque chinois en dessous de 100 qui avait une rduction active un cran au dessus.
Bref, pour ce prix je ne pense pas trouv mieux son plus gros atout est le son et c’est ce que je cherchais sur un casque.

In the box you get the headset, the charging cable, a detachable audio cable with remote and a carrying pouch. These are Bluetooth headphones but they also have an aux in cable outlet. The cable fits my ancient MP3 player. This paired no problem with my phone and tablet. There are all the usual controls on the side of one of the speakers.
To use the Alexa app you need to navigate to the device page of your phone and add the device. You can then use Alexa on via the headphones. You can ask all the usual questions. This isn’t too useful if you already have Alexa indoors, but this does mean you can also use Alexa outside in the garden, say.
According to the instructions, you can also set the headphones up with Google Assistant. However, I haven’t tried that.
The sound quality is excellent. The headphones are a snug and comfortable fit over both my ears and my wife is. There is a good amount of padding over the head and over the ear. They are adjustable. From the noise-canceling point of view, it’s only really effective if you’re playing music. Otherwise basically you just have an expensive pair of ear defenders. The noise-canceling advantage is less effective for audio books or the spoken word.
Why only 4 stars? The quality is there but they are a little heavy. According to the instructions, they weigh in at 260g. I think these would probably be great in flight or somewhere where you really needed the noise cancelling function, but day-to-day I tend to wear something a lot lighter.
Black and Gold!
The black and gold styled version of these ‘phones look great! I like the noise cancelling and the other features – e.g. connection to 2 devices simultaneously via bluetooth, and the ability to connect via a cable (which can constitute a 3rd device!) so I would highly recommend.
Negatives:
Comfort: I found that the fit was a little tight, I’ve noticed others describing that it works well for there smaller heads and I have the opposite problem. The cups and band are nice and soft however.
Sound – it took a little manipulation to get the sound I like – it was incorrectly, IMHO configured out of the factory with too much bass.
Positives:
Battery life: Great! as advertised, easy to get through the day and put on charge (I would say a Type C connector would have helped here too)
Styling: looks really good, and folds away quite nicely into the provided sturdy bag.
Connectivity: it’s really useful to have up-to 3 (1 wired) devices ready to go without much messing about with Bluetooth reconnection, etc.
Summary:
Like the bag, a sturdy pair of headphones for modern living!
Do not expect really high noise cancellation from this product. This works just fine when you need a wireless headset around your ear which can cut the noise.
The cups has got nice padding but a bit on a heavier side. So wearing it day long might be painful.
Gets connects to android device effortlessly, no complaint.
Noise cancellation works; not that effective but definitely works by reducing noise around. Perfectly works at office space where anyways I do not expect people shouting. Benefit is you are really aware of your surroundings when you are enjoying music; be it when you are travelling or when you are in the middle of office space.

Est-ce d aux lunettes ? Est-ce d au rglage trop “souple” et qui ne garde pas assez les coussins colls aux oreilles ?
J’ai fait tester le casque certains de mes collgues et eux n’ont pas eu ce souci.

Il va falloir que je me tourne vers un autre modle.

Fantastic Headphones
These headphones are great quality. They fold up neatly when not in use and can be stored in the supplied bag (which is a bit cheap though). It comes with a charging cable and an audio jack lead for wired connections where bluetooth is not available. Sadly, and I have gone on about this very same thing with a number of high end goods recently, the charging method is via Micro USB. This is an old connection method for 2019 and I fell should be USB-C. All our mobile devices at home are USB-C so now it means taking two cables when we go on a trip.
Connection via Bluetooth was easy and quick. Once connected, they stayed connected.
Sound quality if really good – as is to be expected in this price bracket, with nice clear highs and solid low end response. Noise cancellation is the best I’ve had on any cans to date.
Placement of the buttons on the side edge of one cup are a little awkward. They are marked but it is very difficult to see what they are so you need time to get used to these.
The JBL LIVE 650BTNC are a good looking, comfortable noise cancelling headphone.Taking them out of the box; it’s hard not to admire their looks. There aren’t grills, mesh and they don’t have the shiny plastic of Beats just a subtle look. Putting them on the ear cups are nice and soft; and despite the July heat these are comfortable headphone even In long use. The headband is a little stiff which despite the plastic makes them feel well made. There could be a bit more padding on the headband; it’s wrapped in a plastic mesh.
From the box they needed charging; sadly this is via a micro usb cable; though this likely helps keep the cost down. JBL include a bright orange cable to help you charge them. In the box you also get a slip case to transport then, a headphone cable – which has an inline microphone; but not a two pin aeroplane adaptor. For calls users preferred the microphone on the cable to the built in microphones.
You turn them on through a nice positive sliding switch on the right ear cup. The power up and connect to my iPhone nice and quickly. The noise cancelling comes on by default; and It is a scorched earth noise cancelling. This is great for planes and commuting on buses and trains. In a hot July I’m sat next to a fan listening to them and I can’t hear the fan; a foot away. With the TV on in the room I can hear very muted voices; though high pitched sounds like the selection beep are more noticeable.
Once charged the battery life on and off during the week for me was around 18 hours with ANC on all the time; realistically its not very often i’m away from power for that long. Once drained a 15 minute charge allowed for me around 2 – 2 and half hours of battery so you need not be away from peace and quiet for too long.
Like a lot of ANC headphones JBL have added support for the Alexa and google assistant integration. I have a few headphones that support this feature; but with the JBL it has become something really useable and offers a better experience. Unlike other headphones; the assistant isn’t activated by a small button or an action on a touch surface – the centre of the left ear cup is like a big button to activate the assistant. I have a preference for the google assistant. It reads out messages; works with hangouts – and you can reply to both. Of course lets you do some degree of search. Whilst the microphone on the headsets didn’t go over too well on calls; they worked great for speaking to google.
I cant compliment the other controls on the headphones they are a bit of a usability disaster. There are 5 hard to distinguish buttons on the right ear cup. Even if you know what each one does; they are hard to differentiate by touch alone. JBL use the; up volume – multifunction centre and down volume. Its hard to find the centre button even though it is slightly recessed. It’s almost impossible to find the noise cancellation control button, colocated with the bluetooth button. The buttons themselves work with a nice positive click; though they barely move when you press them.
Audio wise out of the box they are bass heavy for my taste and that overwhelms my delicate textured musical tastes; it works pretty well with rock music. JBL’s app lets you retune the sound to suit your taste; and that let me reduce the bass. There are a few presets to get you started; you can’t make them as musical as . The app like the rest of the headphones is a bit basic; but it does the job. You get a more neutral and wide ranging sound from B&O’s H9i – but not twice the price worth. They do suffer from the same issue with walking around outside in them I had with the H9’s the ANC doesn’t work too well with movement and wind noise. Reducing the ANC setting a notch (if you can find the button) helps in this regard.
As a heavy traveller I have been using noise cancelling headphones for over a decade to ease my journeys; for this the JBL’s are great. The Diesel engine of my train to London melted away; even with the music off. Heathrow terminal 5 and a flight to Krakow were both made in peace – and this is the benefit of ANC – you don’t need to listen to something if you just want quiet they work well . My biggest gripe with the JBL’s are the controls are ill thought out; and you really have to use your phone to make calls as the microphones aren’t up to it. Spend some time with the EQ in the app and you can tune the sound to be close to your preference.
If your budget gets you to these headphones; you will be happy with the JBL’s. Feature wise you won’t be missing out on important things compared to higher priced alternatives.
Great sound and work well, but small crammed buttons!
The headphones at their smallest are small, which is amazing as I can never get a pair to fit my small head.
Sound quality is great and the noise cancelling works well. Very comfortable to wear and look very smart.
Connection was very easy and works well via Bluetooth.
Slightly negative points
*The buttons, which are very small, are all on one side of the headphones so will take a little use to get used to the positioning for answer calls/ using the volume buttons.
* A few issues connecting to google assistant but seems to be ok now.
*The my JBL headphone app isn’t great, 2.2 review on the Play store, which isn’t great for a 200+ bit of gear.
My only thing that really has irritated me about these new headphone is the choice of charger connection – it’s a Micro-USB when all Android phones are moving to USB-C so it will mean you need to carry two different cables or an adapter with you.
(also comes with a standard headphone connection to allow the same quality sound without draining your battery via Bluetooth)
Brilliant headphones - ready to use straight out of the box
Really excellent noise-cancelling headphones (the noise cancelling really only works if you have music playing): beautifully packaged and ready to use straight out of the box: quick connect via Bluetooth and I was jigging around within 1 minute! The sound is crisp clear and bright: though I have to say that compared to the BOSE headphones I have the stereo effect is not quite as good. Nevertheless, for a tip top pair of stunning-looking headphones you can’t go wrong with these. Highly recommended.

I’ve just upgraded from a broken pair of Sony wired over ear headphones out of necessity. Initially i was amazed by the quality of the audio. I’m finding more and more that i should have got these a long time ago so i didn’t always listen to music up loud on my older headphones when i on planes and trains etc.
