I have kitties that are mischievous. They jump on the gas stove and play with the knobs. These covers work great to prevent them from “accidently” turning on the gas. Covers are very easy to install.

Needed this as one of our dogs puts paws up on kitchen counters looking for snacks and has turned the gas on accidentally several times. Fortunately we caught it each time.
These work perfectly. I added two small strips of rubber double sticky tape to the back of each to keep the “open/close” clip at 12 o’clock.
Our toddler’s interest in the gas range knobs grew this past week, so we decided it was time for some of these. We have foiled his plans and have no regrets! Have yet to cook with them, so no feedback on heat resistance, but I seriously doubt it’ll be an issue. The only thing is I think it’s kinda goofy how they hang like they do (see mine and other’s videos). Does not hinder functionality though. Recommend!
We had these on our gas range previously, and when we transitioned to an RV it felt like a no brainer to purchase them again. Well I’m happy to say, they arent overly obtrusive (or really noticeable) and, and they still keep tiny hands from accidentally turning on the gas. Win win all around.

My 89 year old mother accidentally hit two of the knobs on the stove resulting in a gas smell wafting through her apartment. Thankfully a maintenance person smelled it and alerted her to the problem. I immediately searched and found these and received them the day after I ordered them. They are easy to install and give us all peace of mind should that ever happen again. I would highly recommend!
We got these because my aunt has 2 cats..and she’s always had cats..but somehow one of the 2 turned on the stove and the entire house smelled like gas. A very scary situation and these are perfect to prevent that from happening. Easy to open to use the stove and you just pop them shut and they stay on while not in use. Ty!

So far so good. I have a cat who learned to turn on the stove and nearly burnt the house down when I was at work. (Thankfully she lit the burner rather than gassing herself and her siblings) she has yet to figure these out so we all feel much safer. Easy for adult humans to open and they didn’t get in the way of anything but my stove knobs are spaced out pretty far. No melting so far and I don’t take them off to cook.

Both my husband and I have inadvertently turned on stove burners with our stomachs. Stoves with the control panel in the front can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. These are just the ticket to protect the knobs from accidentally being turned “on.”
This definitely does what it says, and protects my children, but at least one of the covers already got melted a little bit, but that may have been due to someone cooking and splashing something hot or pushing the flame onto the cover.
My stove knobs are on the front and I was always bumping into them and turning the stove on. I looked into these because I do have small kids and bumping them was becoming a fire hazard. They were so easy to put on and easy to open. My kids haven’t tried opening them yet, but I feel like with a little determination they could. To open them you just push the little notch and pull.
The covers work great protecting it from my toddler. The covers make it so that the stove knobs can’t turn without opening the cover.
The material is a hard plastic that should last a while and install was very easy. The only drawback
I could think of is that when a child is a little bigger, they can simply pull the cover and knob off together, but the knob will still be in the cover so a child shouldn’t be able to turn on the stove.

These were a little bit bigger than what I needed, but they did the job. I don’t have a child but I had to buy these because the handles on my stove were turning when my bf would use the cabinets above bc he would lean towards the stove. It started leaking gas into my house. These definitely did the job and helped prevent the handles from twisting. Honestly I don’t feel like my adhesion score is super fair because these are a bit too big for my stove, and to be fair I didn’t really measure my stove.

I’m happy with this product. Our 1,5y old boy he is discovering the kitchen. He is pulling everything down, spin, rotate all the buttons. Our laundry washer has a child lock but the cooker not. With this covers he can’t play with the buttons anymore. He rotate them but nothing happen. We have a lock for he door too.
They are big, cover the buttons but my main concern is are a bit too thin, but time will decide, so far are doing the job good.
My 91 year old father lives with us, and suddenly decided to take up cooking in the middle of the night. I bought these hoping to deter him, and they work. Easy to remove, not the tightest anti-child concept, but it does stop them being fiddled with to an extent.
Easy to install!!! All we had to do is slide off our knobs, and place this on, and simply slide them back on. Good thing we did because our little guy is already messing with them. They just rotate around as he plays with them. When we need to cook, we simply pop the “snap” lock and adjust the knobs.

I have a very narrow kitchen so it was easy to knock up against the burner knobs and slightly push it. We bought these to prevent any accidents and so far they’ve been great! Easy to install and not troublesome to open at all. We throw them in the dishwasher if they get too dirty/greasy and put them back on without issue. Easy peasy

Got these to stop my 1 yr old from turning the knobs. They’re perfect. I don’t know what the adhesion part is because mine didn’t come with any and I don’t see how or why you would even need it. You simply pop your stove knob off, place the open cap on there, replace the stove knob, then close the lid to the cap
One day my cat stepped on my stove knob and turned it on! This was perfect safety fix.
This product was almost perfect.. i love that it keep my dogs and kids away from the stove knobs but i wish there is a magnet attached to the back of it so it will stay and place and not wobble around. The oven door keeps hitting them when the knob covers are opened and you cant keep them shut especially when you’re cooking multiple dishes. But overall it does it’s job!

The stove knobs are very sturdy. Setting them up was so easy to do. Using them is also quite easy too.
My cat decided she wanted to take us all out through carbon monoxide poisoning, not once but TWICE she jumped from my stove to my island and managed to turn on the gas by pushing off for her leap on the knobs. Thank goodness for that egg fart stench to alert us to the problem! Utterly baffled as to what happened the first time, the second time we actually saw her do it. A friend with an autistic daughter recommended these as a lifesaver in her household so I bought them. They installed easy and aren’t inconvenient when cooking. Now my cat has reverted to trying to kill us by tripping instead of blowing us up.

I ordered these to give to my daughter as protection for her little one. So you get five cooker button covers which will protect the four ring knobs and the oven knob They are quite deep at 5cm and the hole is 3.5 cm in diameter. You do need to be able to remove your cooker knobs to fit themusually they just pull off. Ours unfortunately don’t remove but my daughters do. Because these are a decent size they will fit most cookers but do make sure you have pull off knobs before you order these and measure the diameter of your knobs to ensure these will fit . So all you do is pull off the front of your knob put the hole over the rod and push the knob back into position. It tells you to have the cover opening away from you so the cover opens towards you and away from the heat. They are a little stiff to unclip and certainly no toddler could undo these. You just push the plastic and the clip separates. They just click shut when your cooker is not in use. The plastic is quite brittle so I’m hoping these don’t split with a lot of use. We will see. They certainly ensure no gas / electric knobs can accidentally be switched on and will give you peace of mind. I’m slightly cautious as to how robust they will be. I will be sure to update this review if they don’t last. They are on the face of it good value for money and will be easy to remove for cleaning. I’m hoping that they last for those tricky years when little ones are exploring their environment.

I love this product! Our new house has a gas stove and I was very nervous about our toddler touching the knobs. Of course, on the first day, I myself accidentally jostled a knob and nearly burned my arm, so this product is just as much for clumsy adults as it is for curious toddlers. I wish these had fit our knobs because they are super easy to use. Customer service is SPECTACULAR. A customer service rep emailed me FIRST to check my satisfaction with the product before I even had a chance to start the return. They tried multiple times to help me trouble shoot but our knobs are just way too big. They gave me a full refund and didn’t make me return the covers. I will be passing them on to someone else because on the right stove, these would be very helpful.
I bought them for my stove ,we are under new management in my building and they renovated the bathroom and kitchen bringing in some very nice Frigidaire refrigerators and stoves ,yet the knob on the stove were VERY Easy to turn on ,and I don’t have any small children in my house, yet anyone could just walk in my kitchen and brush against the stove and if any part of your body hit a knob it will turn on do easily that you/I may not know until you smell the GAS,and that’s so dangerous I by the Grace of God woke up in the middle of the night and was about to light a cigarette a bad habit I’m working on,anyways I smells that gas and sure enough my stove knob was on,and I said I got to go-to the store and find something to protect me and others from a gas explosion and as always Amazon saved the day with these clear easy to use knob covers ,now I can relax when I’m sleeping ,or when I have guest I won’t need to get up and check my stove to make sure we’re SAFE,and also I don’t look like I’m checking my kitchen after someone just left out of it ,What A inexpensive RELIEF
All you have to do is take off the knob insert the part of the knob that fits on the stove into the hole on The Knob Covers (Clear) and snap it shut ,and no you don’t have to take it off when you get ready to use your range top or is Ben ,just open the Cover where you see the finger print space open it and turn your top burners on ,snap it back shut and let the cooking begin ,it comes with 5 knobs ,so know need to buy 2 unless you’re thinking about A FRIEND.Very Satisfied!!!
Overall very happy with this product. We have a puppy that likes to turn on our stove, these are the perfect way to prevent him from turning it on. Very easy to use and easy to install.
We do have a toddler, but like many of the other reviewers we bought these because the knobs on our stove are way too easy for *anyone* to unintentionally turn on. We’ve had multiple incidents of discovering one had been turned on when we did not turn it on. It’s a major safety hazard (honestly I believe it’s worth a stove recall and we will get a different one as soon as we can afford it), and it was causing me a lot of anxiety. These knob covers have literally made my life better and improved my mental health.
I am not handy at ALL and I was able to install them myself in about 30 seconds. I kept up my compulsive knob checking for several days after installing just to make sure they were working and they’ve always stayed right where they’re supposed to be. I’ve seen the size mentioned as an issue in other reviews—they fit fine for our oven/stove.

Works exactly as advertised, and I can’t emphasize enough that you measure the distance between the stove dials to ensure they will fit, especially when they are a set/series of dials closer together.
These knobs work really well and fit our 6 burner stovetop knobs. The only drawback is they hang down so when opening/closing the oven door they hit and sometimes keep the door open a crack and need to push the covers up. Still highly recommend as the do the job and the little toddler cannot turn the knobs any longer.

We had burned up two top covers for the stove simply by brushing up against the knobs while we were working in the kitchen. These solved that problem.

I bought these knob covers because I was accidentally turning the knobs a little so the gas would come on without igniting the burners (I was reaching over the stove to get to the microwave.). These covers work and they were easy to put on. They fit loosely over the knobs—I tested to see if I could turn the knobs from the off position with the covers on and I could not do it.
We don’t have little kids, just an inexpensive stove our landlord installed and unfortunately the gas knobs turn very easily, making it a hazard in our home. My dad has dementia, and has developed the concerning habit of turning on all the stove eyes lately. These are fairly easy to open, so I’m sure someone who was in a less advanced stage of dementia could probably figure it out, but these seem to serve as a good deterrent for him. And my mom who has arthritis is still able to get them open pretty easily, so that’s a plus! So glad to have peace of mind that dad won’t burn the house down now!
Thankfully my had seen these because my 1.5 year old wouldn’t stop touching the stove. Since we’ve put these on, his luck had changed and he no longer plays with these so much.
The product was easy to install, its easy to use but has stopped my daughters attempts at opening them so far. Because of their clear design is easy to see the current temperature setting and doesn’t change the aesthetics in your house.

Don’t have any kids, but we just recently installed a gas stove (had electric). I was concerned about our house blowing up from someone accidently bumping the knobs and turning the gas on…and I was right! (not about it blowing up). My 88 year old mother in law lives with us, and walks hunched over, walked by the stove and her big butt hit one of the knobs and turned the gas on without lighting the burner. She didn’t even know it. (she farts a lot so probably just assumed the gas smell was her own). Happened twice, so that’s when I decided to buy these things, much cheaper than blowing the house to smithereens. They go on easy enough, not that difficult to use, and so far no accidental knob turning. I can’t really say how durable they are yet , that remains to be seen. Can’t really rate the “stretch” factor as these aren’t really the kinds of things that one would stretch.
These have no adhesion. They are loose around the knob. Might be nice if they were adhered to the stove, but then again could be easier for our child to open them if they were. They work well and were easy to install.
This is a genius invention that is very simple to install over the knobs. (Pull the knobs off first.) We have a gas stove and a young pup. These covers were the first thing I installed to protect my large breed pup since he’s tall enough to reach the knobs. These covers give me a lot of peace of mind that he won’t accidentally get burned or set the house on fire.

If they are “open” they hang far enough down to get closed into the oven, if you open it. So. Close the stove knob protector before you close your oven.

We bought these even though we are adults because our hands kept hitting the control knobs on our gas range and emitting a gas smell. They work to keep the knobs from being accidently knocked on and not lit allowing gas to escape.

For universal safety locks they work well. They are loose and low hanging so when we open oven door and close it, they get in the way. We solve this issue by taking them off while cooking and just putting them back on when done. They came in a pack of 5 so we have an extra. They were easy to install. Greatly appreciate them.
These covers are fine, but the switches on my stove have a base, so these covers slide around on top of them. They are protecting the switches from turning on, however, so they are doing their job.

So, yes, we have kids. However, as much as we were worried about one of them maybe turning on, or bumping into, the burner knobs, we got this to save us from ourselves. My wife and I were working in the kitchen one day, moving stuff around and cleaning and we put some stuff on the stove top for a minute. Well, one of us must have bumped into a knob. After realizing what the smell was, and thankfully not actually burning our kitchen down, we found these. Snaps right in place, opens easily enough when we are cooking and need to use the knobs, and as a bonus, it helps keep the knobs clean so we’re not cleaning grease off of the crevices of the knob all the time anymore.
