Absolutely perfect.
Fits perfectly, really easy to put on and to adjust, the dog got used to wearing quickly. Cut the amount of pulling she did which is also helpful.
Very Sturdy
We bought this product for our 6 month old Mastiff, it is amazing. Very easy to fit. He is already very strong but the harness helps with his control. It’s very strong and it gives you confidence whilst being in control of the dog. I would definitely recommend
Best ever harness
I’ve bought other harnesses before for my 2 border terrier boys but these are in a league of their own! Easy to get on and off and neither of them pull when they’re wearing them. Great in the car too – just clip them onto their seatbelt straps! They both line up for us to put them on as soon as I take the harnesses down from their hooks on the wall.

size 0 fit perfectly for an overweight, chunky but short type Staffordshire bull terrier brindle bitch, being set on nearly max for chest. the neck brace was reduced a tiny bit, but is still showing full reflection pad.

Got this for our 2 year old cavalier King Charles. She is around 8.7kg and this one fits as it comes with no adjustment. Highly remember it with the matching shirt lead. She loves walks with it.
Great Harness
Bought this to try with my 5yr old labrador. Was a good fit with minimal adjustments. Seems very secure and sturdy though I’ve only used it for a couple of weeks. A family member has one the same make and they’ve had theirs for a few years and it’s still going strong

BEST HARNESS WE'VE HAD
We have a 36kg Boxer Rotweiller cross who is extremely strong and this harness has given me so much more control on walks. Als bought a smaller harness for an extremely lively cocker spaniel and again the additional control this harness gives has made walking them an absolute pleasure. Would highly recommend spending the bit extra for these, wish we’d done it years ago

I bought this for my dog after an accident meant he couldn’t wear a collar or a lead for a while. It took a little to adjust and get the size right, and I would probably air on the smaller side if ordering again, but it’s sturdy and my dog has had no complaints
Excellent harness
This is a great quality, comfortable, attractive harness. It’s our second Julius K9 harness – our first one lasted three years on a very strong pulling spaniel! The grab handle on the top of the harness is very useful. Very happy with the product and would recommend.

I already use these harnesses for my patterdale’s.
They are excellent quality, I’ve had my existing ones since 2018 and wash them constantly as they insist in getting muddy and covered in fox poo. They are just starting to look a bit worn.
So Santa is bringing them new ones this year so they have a nice one for not so muddy walks

I had already heard how great these were. Took our pup to pets at home who rubbished these and said too expensive for a pup who is growing so quick. Was sold a chest plate harness for our lazy bulldog. Anyway didn’t get along with this harness so I went online and manages to get this at a cheaper price than the cheat plate one from pets at home. Great product feels well made easy to fit. Easy to adjust. Soooo easy to put on and will fit for a while. Absolutely recommend and will buy next size up for sure when needed

10-16 weeks cocker spaniel pup
Used this for my puppy when she had her second vaccinations at 12 weeks. Bought for her at 10 weeks (bit too big) but at 12 weeks it was fine on the smallest settings at 14 weeks it was better . Now at 16 weeks it’s starting to max out not the neck bit but the tummy strap chunky puppy

Fantastic harness. Needed a very strong one as my dog is extremely traffic reactive and lunges in the air at cars. I know with a lead attached to this harness and his collar he is very secure. So easy to put on and easily sponged down to clean. Best one I have ever tried.

I noticed how popular these harnesses were becoming, given that 50% of the dogs I see out being walked are wearing them. My GoldenDoodle is now on her second one, having outgrown the first, and I am pleased with the quality of the materials, construction and general design. Easy to adjust as the dog grows and she is secure in it. Good value for money and recommended.

Ok this is definitely worth it. Our husky pup had a standard harness we got from amazon and it always got loose and the ring started tearing on the harness so we decided to upgrade. This gives so much more control of your dog! I don’t need to yank or pull with all my strength just a gentle pull back controls your dog! It’s super sturdy and good quality so I feel it will last a long time! Plus it looks sleek and smart, my pup looks comfortable. This is definitely a must for huskies and big dogs!

Love this harness! Love the colour and the fit on my dog. She seems comfy in it and it is easily adjustable to fit her properly. I have even invested and changed up the Velcro pads on the sides to glow in the dark ones of her name and our contact details should she get lost. Hopefully this will last a long time!

Fantastic, sturdy harness ideal for strong dogs! Nicely padded for pooches comfort. Have previously owned one of these harnesses (she grew out of it hence this lovely pink one to replace it) and would definitely recommend as I personally think they’re the best ones on the market for strong, muscular dogs.
Very happy with it. I really like these harnesses for our cockapoo. Compared with a previous k9 we have, the design on this one places the chest strap just a bit lower on our dog (which is better I think) and sits just a bit further back too. So far, so good!

Super happy with the quality of this harness! I have struggled to find a size and shape that fits my dog properly and comfortably (she is a medium mix breed). She is not a particular fan of the harness due to them having scratchy materials and not sitting in right around her neck and chest. This harness is the least restrictive I’ve used, allowing her to have full movement, the material doesn’t cause her any irritation and it has definitely helped lessen her pulling on the lead during walks. I also really appreciate the reflective strips as it gets darker during winter!

I love these harnesses as does my dog. They fasten securely giving me firm control over a very large boisterous animal. I only put 2 for stretch which is meant positively as a harness shouldn’t stretch. Great product bought as a replacement for the one already in use.

This harness is brilliant. I have a Staffie x Lab and this harness was great as it was adjustable (due to her being a rescue and needing to get it before I got her, I had to guess her size) but luckily because of the aforementioned adjustability, it fits her perfectly. I also feel very safe when walking her in it as she is strong on the lead and the craftmanship of this harness definitely puts the mind at ease.

My dog is scared of shadows, wheels, engines, birds, leaves skittering along pavements, wind, people not socially distancing, and loud exhausts so when encountering any of these extremely scary things pulls on his lead and attempts to flee without any warning. This harness stops him dragging me into the road and getting us both hit by a car.

This is a very sturdy and comfortable harness, we wanted something like this that look good and is light too! It comes in different colours and the Velcro labels on the side can be removed to buy tags for different jobs or as names tags! You can buy the name tags on Amazon as well and they look great!

Excellent quality use with my Belgian malinois size 1 . She walks at the side of my electric wheelchair and this is a perfect harness for the job gives me total control and confidence as it fits securely and is comfy for my dog no rubbing. Great control for dog & handle
A really good, robust harness. Fits our lurcher perfectly. It does not impede his movement in any way especially during zoomies. The lead attachment appears further back than most walking harnesses so power transfer seems to be lower and through the chest and body giving handler more control and more comfort for the dog. It is a little awkward to get the front strap set correctly but once fitted the harness is quick and easy to put on and remove. Very well designed harness.
ICU harness
Iv been looking for a well fitting harness for my very active chihuahua. He fitted baby 2 and it fits really well and only needs adjusting once. Now it goes straight over his head and clips on so very easy to get on and off. My main reason for buying it was the changeable patches. Been a rescue and a chihuahua he hates new people so got seperate patches of ‘don’t touch’ and ‘in training’ as I’m working with him daily to get him over his fear of people. They have helped a lot with people now giving him his space. I would of preferred a handle option as well but I love the harness and it fits well.

Sturdy harness for new dog owne
Got this really for my partner as he was struggling to control a pug! Yep, i thought the same too!
Anyway it’s the first time he has ever owned a dog, hence the struggle so this harness has been the best purchase I’ve made. Once you have the fittings for your dog size correct, it so easy to put on and take off. It’s sturdy and easy to control an excitable young dog. I feel much more confident when he’s taken the dog for a work. The dog can’t wriggle out of like other harnesses when she frets if a bigger dog is in the park. There is the added bonus of the handle on the top of the harness that I can use in an emergency situation. Is well worth the money!

This is the forth harness we have owned for our 12 month old Springer, he has chewed 2 of them and outgrew the other! We opted for a different harness this time, as the last two were the same brand but I quite fancied a change when I came across this camouflaged option of the Julius K-9. It comes packed in a plastic bag with various tags on and a mini booklet with safety features and other items. Please ensure yours has the textured holographic sticker inside or you could have a fake, they are out there!
This is very robust, seems very secure and snug, and more importantly Milo is not in any discomfort wearing it as it is pleasantly padded on his back / shoulders! Works like any other harness but with more added features like a torch space, replaceable Velcro name badges, adjustable chest reflector band, a really strong belly band with tough plastic buckle (it is big and robust), big steel chromed ring to fit your lead to, a small bit to clip a flashing light to and most importantly and good sized top handle to steady your dog if needs be.
I fully recommend this harness, as these are the best and for good reason! So many colours to choose from too (and you can buy Velcro name badges to personalise it further), so go on give your daily dog walk a make over and give yer pooch some top clobber. I’ve gone for camo, so full on jungle is massive!

Was well packaged on arrival and came 1 day delivery. Originally had julius K9 size 1, but need a size up as she growing and fits perfectly. She shouldnt need to go up a size anymore. Its a lovely colour and suits her very well. Its very sturdy and well designed. Totally recommended.
Perfect for my French Bulldog
So so pleased with this. I have finally found my French bulldog a harness that suits him! Previous harness have ticked some boxes but not all, caused pulling, escapes, sores – it feels like it’s been a never ending search for one that ticks all boxes….happy to confirm that search is over! Suits him down to the ground! Hooray!
1st class harness
We have an English bulldog x staffy who is very powerful. We’ve tried several different makes of harness, none of which have been quite the right fit for her. This harness is fantastic, due to the fit it doesn’t cut into her. It’s strong, comfortable and made very well. The handle is a fantastic addition. We also purchased ‘Friendly’ patches which are Velcro so easy peasy to pop on. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend

This is a very simple harness to use, very secure and as far as I know very comfortable for my pug to wear, she actually pushes her head into it wanting to wear it for her walks, so definitely no complaints, .
Sturdy harness
Got this for my spaniel puppy, when I first tried to put it on him it wasn’t clear what to do with the chest strap as they’re wasn’t any instructions included. It is a bit big for him but I always pull the chest strap tight all the way round and it hasn’t come lose (despite his pulling). Easy to clean and doesn’t seem to hinder him when he’s out running.
Good for pulling dogs
I really like this and how it fits my Boston Terrier, stops him pulling etc however, if he wriggles around (while playing with other dogs) he always manages to get out of it! Winter months this isn’t too much of an issue as his outer coat helps stop this happening.

Comfort and security in a smart package
Tried a couple of different branded harmesss such as the Barbour one and the Ancol one, my dog could manage to wriggle out of both of them so I decided to try the julius.
I now own 3. They are the best harness I have ever used and the reason I have 3 is that I have them in different colours. I do however recommend that the ‘Y’ bar is purchased for extra sturdyness. My dog can be a bit of a wriggler and although he’s small if he sees a squirrel he wants to be off and the julius gives me the security I need and trust. It fits perfectly and is easy to adjust if needs be. Don’t waste time and money on other brands

Took a well researched guess and ordered the baby 2 in advance of collecting my 9 week old staffordshire bull terrier. She didn’t bat an eyelid when I put it on her and seemed perfectly happy in it. She can’t go for proper walks as she’s not fully vaccinated yet but I’ve just ordered the mini-mini for when she can in a couple of weeks as she hasn’t got much grow room in this one.
She seems confortable and it is of good quality. I will keep buying these as she grows! Just wish the sunshine yellow would become available, yellow looks so pretty on her!
Getting the correct size is tricky ,even with a tape measure, I bought the size 1, which looked too big, then returned it at my COST of 3.99, CAVEAT EMPTOR that was not made obvious on the Amazon listing, which bumped it up to nearly the retail shop price, that said the product is EXCELLENT no more pulling, plenty of attatchment ponts, removable velco signs, which are of course an optional extra, available also on AMAZON.
There are cheap copies but past experience is buy cheap buy twice, this product is properly made and should last a lifetime if needed.
The two ‘FRIENDLY’ logos that can be attatched to the velcro pad instead of the Julius patches have already drawn a host of positive comments ‘what a good idea’ in just one day!
With no more pulling and choking your dog is easy to control, and mine has no problem whatever wearing the harness, as unlike a muzzle choke lead the harness does cause any discomfort around the eyes.
The product is not cheap, but is well made of durable materials and put into context cost wise it is a welcome investment.
When used with a pair of quality leads joined together, one being a bungee, which I put nearest the harness for a longer reach, when necessary dog walking is no chore at all.
Overall a five star purchase highly recommended.
Really takes the stress away from the neck
Excellent piece of kit, simple to put on without tangling legs in and out of straps. Need to adjust fitting first as it is not possible to adjust once fitted but its not a problem. If i had one suggestion it would be to increase width of the chest lift strap to reduce pressure on chest if using handle to assist lifting dog. Fitted to Gordon Setter puppy at minimum size (for size 0) but sizing advice was pretty spot on.
Great Harness
Just received this harness and the first thing I noticed is the quality which is very good. It looks like it’s a lasting product. Fitting the first time took about 5 mins after adjusting straps a couple of times. Fitting on subsequent occasions takes seconds. Have taken our puppy on a couple of walks and it appears safe and comfortable as the puppy does not seem hindered in anyway. Would not hesitate to buy again when a larger version is needed

Bought size 1 for my cross Husky Dalmatian and it’s perfect. It’s been put true the test with my 7 month old labador pointer pulling out of it with his nice but sharp teeth. It’s also great when we go SUP we can pull the dog from the water onto the board
My dog is what we call ‘free range’ he likes to be off lead and does not like wearing a harness. However, when he is outside of our home he needs one for his own safety to walk to park.
We have started using the K9 harness recently and he really doesn’t seem to mind it. It’s very simple to put on him with no fuss, it was very easy to adjust to fit him. I think the best thing about this harness is it does not rub under the dogs legs like conventional harness’ do and there is much more adjustment for his neck floof.
I would recomend! The handle is very useful for picking the dog up quickly and he doesn’t seem to mind. It has come in useful in one situation where a large dog was bothering him.
Very robust & excellent design/build quality.
Brilliant harness. I did my research & this is the current updated version. I use it with the additional breast to belly strap & with cycle lights with rubber fixings to attach to the side fixings so I can see my doggy & everyone else can too.
Although it states ‘handwash only’ I chuck mine in on a 30 degree wash with a non bio detergent & an additional wash with no detergent then let dry at room temp with no problems. Will be ordering another couple in case for any reason they are discontinued or modified as it’s perfect the way it is.
This is such a great harness. Had several over the years of other brands, but this one is just over the head and then a single clip. So simple to put on and very secure. Not being a full surround harness, it doesn’t take too long to dry out when your dog sits in a river or in mud.

We decided to try out a harness for our 40kg boxer cross mastiff. He had only ever been used to a collar but he is always pulling and choking himself. We had concerns because we didn’t want to buy a harness for it to then break. This one did not disappoint. It is so strong and sturdy. We have more control over him on the harness but he also has more control and movement. We are no longer concerned about him straggling himself. The handle on the harness is also one of my favourite features and has come in use so often. I 100% recommend and would buy again.
UPDATED: 3 years later and this harness is still going strong!!

I bought 2, matching, for 2 dogs, this size and the mini for my other dog. Who is a bit bigger (jack-chi and zuchon). Small dogs, holiday on a boat Norfolk Broads, sturdy harnesses needed with back handle. The dogs looked very smart and overall, the harnesses are great. This one, however, I struggle a bit with the clasp, very stiff, I have arthritic hands, The bigger one is fine
I have a 3 month old frenchie who weighs approx 4.5kg and I measured her via the guide, not far behind her front legs to check size. Luckily she is at the bottom of the size bracket, so will be able to use this for a while. I got mini mini as she is approx 40cm underneath. This harness is so good as it just slides loosely over the head and the clips underneath. The glow in the dark and reflective pieces really set it off, and it was cheaper than buying from a pet store or online. Absolutely love it!

Shes the most friendly dog ever and she’s the best dog behaving dog at home unfoetunately whenever it comes to the walk time she’s become an evil lol she pulls all the time! Doesn’t matter if she sees another dog and she wants to say hi or if she sees a rabbit and she wants to chase it. She just constantly pulls. Twice a week were taking her for 10miles walk and suprise… She pulls through the intire walk. She is so strong that not only arm is hurting me it’s intire shoulder and half of my back hahaha any way we were using gentle leader and cheaper harnes but didn’t really stop her from pulling. My friend told me to risk it and get 9k harness as it stoped her boxer from pulling. I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase! It’s really good quality harness and the most important it really works. Excellent product!
Wonderful
Bought this for a labradoodle obtained from rescue having seen them on a pair of much bigger dogs. A strong 8 year old Labrador size dog who could pull me over. With this harness she is much more biddable and contendedly walks to heel. Wish we’d known about these years ago. There is a handle on the back so that if the dog is on an extended lead and walks off somewhere, you can easily grab the handle and pull her back rather than having your fingers ripped off by the lead – and it is so easy to put on. Recommend it to anybody

Brilliant piece of kite; I do a lot of hill walking with my little terrier & sometimes I want her on a long lead for safety & prefer not to attach it to her collar. I previously purchased a Ruffwear harness which whilst good quality rubbed her chest by her legs so I purchased a K9 IDC & it works an absolute treat…quality kit you can rely on!

My dog, Aya, has been using this harness for a week. When it first arrives it feels stiff but after a couple of walks it shaped itself to her body quite nicely.
The size we got was mini. Aya is a Jack Russel cross, she’s the size of a Russel but she has the shape of a Corgie. The mini fits perfectly. In other cheaper harnesses she’s been a medium.
On the mini you don’t get the popper bit that holds down the handle and/or D ring. The handle holds down using velcro. You also don’t get the hoops that hold torches.
The D ring on this harness sits on Aya’s back, the chest strap sits snug on her chest and the strap under her doesn’t rub under her arm pits. I was worried about this after reading some reviews but because I’ve adjusted the straps to fit her it doesn’t seem to be an issue. She also hasn’t stepped or backed out of the harness. Again I was worried due to reviews but correct sizing and fitting means it’s not a problem. It only took a few minutes to get the straps adjusted to her size.
Handling wise it’s great. I have so much more control over Aya. No more pulling. I assume this is due to the positioning of the straps and D ring.
The main plus point is that it looks brilliant! It’s a quality product that I think is worth paying the extra for.

This is the best dog harness ever. I have tried others and they are not in the same league as this one it’s just so well made, robust, comfy, brilliant design, easy on off and never causes a problem. My dog is so happy to wear it too. Love the glow strips and the handle is so useful. I bought this one for my dog when he was 10 weeks old and it has been altered to fit as he has grown, he is now 6 months.
When walking I see so many dogs with the same harness and it’s always a point of conversation with their owners as to how fantastic the Julius K9 is. If my dog outgrows this one I will definitely buy a larger one. Thanks For making a fab product.
Brilliant harness! Looks great and works a treat for pulling dogs. I have a standard goldendoodle, 4 and a half years old, 32.4kg, and the size 1 fits him perfectly. I was lucky enough to be able to try my friends dog’s jk9 harness on my dog before I bought it. She is a boxer and American bull dog mix and both fit into the size 1. I also love the removable Velcro tabs. I purchased the ‘friendly’ tags so people know he’s not going to maul them when he tries to jump up on them lol. I’ve added a pic, it looks like it’s tight on the back, but it’s not, it’s jusy his thick coat that makes it look that way.
The second one I’ve purchased owing to my naughty dog chewing a hole in the previous one, the harness is very well fitting with a large buckle to fasten , the colour is great, I bought size 1 for my EBT , she looks forward to having it on & going for walks, if the correct size is purchased the harness won’t rub, worth taking two minutes to measure for a proper fit, handle is a really good feature & the d-ring is solid, easy to wash & dries really quick, like the fact that it glows in the dark with the added reflective bits, I don’t have to wrestle my dog to get this on her, it just slips over her head and just one clip round the belly, i also use the harness in the car with a seatbelt clip, I think this harness is very good value , strong & very well made, I wouldn’t put anything else on my girl
The Rolls Royce of Harnesses
Had one of these previously for our weimaraner Boy, actually saved his life when he got stuck in a very deep bog in the peaks, all we could see was his head and harness handle, managed to grab his handle and pull him to safety, So knowing we was going onto the york moors for a holiday another harness was a no brainer. Luckily no dramas this time, would recommend to everybody, not only a harness but a lifesaver, very strong built and robust….

We only use the harness when our 44kg Bernese Mountain Dog is travelling on the back seat of the car but she loves it 🙂 If we pick it up she rushes over and puts her head straight in and stands still while the belly strap is fastened.

This is an excellent product and has made a real difference when walking our large GSD. He was pulling strongly on the choke chain which was becoming increasingly ineffective. We were also worried about hurting his neck.
We did lots of research and took a recommendation from a friend with a Doberman before we bought. It was certainly the right choice for us. Its very high quality, easy to fit and gives better control. He pulls less (although it hasn’t stopped completely – we can’t blame this on the harness and we continue to work on his pulling). When he does need a correction it takes much less effort and controls his torso direction as opposed to yanking his neck. The harness is very comfortable for him and looks great. You can even get appendages for carrying essentials.
We are extremely happy with our purchase as is Stan. We would never have a collar again after this and would recommend highly to anyone considering it. We have had the harness for about five months now.

The item arrived on time and was well packaged and even had a small information booklet too. Now to the MAIN points of this harness for me! Without being dramatic, or saying this lightly, this item has changed my life!! I have arthritis in my spine and both of my hands (thumbs mainly) and walking my 5 year old Staffie cross was almost impossible for me because she used to pull on the lead. When I first put it on her she was almost “magically” transformed – it seemed to calm her instantly.
When my back allows me to walk her (I aim for twice a day) she is like a different dog. She doesn’t want to run off all the time, is happy to walk to heel, but most importantly SHE DOESN’T PULL ME!! All in all a perfect purchase and I wish I’d done it years ago. It was easy to fit on her (over her head), and the adjustments (chest and belly) were very simply to adjust to get the perfect fit. SHE may not know she’s got it on when she’s walking but I CERTAINLY do – and it doesn’t slow her running down either. My Border Collie is about 19kg and from working stock so is a skinny athletic dog – he wears the Size 0. He loves being off the lead but is a puller when on it. I have used a Halti on previous dogs but have seen a lot of dogs wearing harnesses so decided to give it a go. He wasn’t bothered about wearing it as he has a car harness but the first time he got giddy about going out for a walk he backed right out of it and I was left with a harness on the end of the lead and a dog sat looking at me wearing nothing! Luckily we were in the drive and not on the street or we would have been in trouble. Prior to buying it I had read that this could happen but could be resolved be buying the Y strap that slides onto the chest strap. As soon as I did this and refitted the harness it is perfect. If your dog has a habit of backing out of situations he is uncomfortable in i would wholly recommend paying a little extra and getting the Y strap. He wears it no problem, walks a lot more calmly and now can’t back out of it. It seems very sturdy and well made and is saving my arms from a lot of pulling!
Tried so many harnesses before & our dog has managed to escape them – but this is fantastic, not only does it allow us to walk a dog that’s reactive (due to being attacked by 3 small dogs separately off lead) but the handle helps us to have added control with any situation that now arises when we meet another dog. Had given up walking my GSD until I saw this harness & now I’m confident when walking my dog in any situation so worth the price & 5*’s. He will always be reactive even after various types of training but he will always be able to have walks now. Highly recommend this product.
Brilliant, already have the black version which is getting a bit ‘tired’ looking so got another for him. Strong and comfortable for him. Got the Mini size for my Frenchie, perfect fit and he’s a big lad.

I wanted a strong, sturdy harness for my Labrador Retriever and something which also looked good, and that is exactly what I got when I purchased the Julius K9 IDC Powerharness. It is very well made and the control handle on the top makes it so much easier to restrain a large dog when he decides that he wants to chase a cat! The angle of the front strap sits away from the dogs neck so that any pressure is on the chest. It is so easy to fit and my dog doesn’t seem to mind wearing it, unlike other harnesses we have tried. I would thoroughly recommend this harness to anyone.

I bought this following the excellent reviews and was not disappointed. I have a Labrador who always pulls when on the lead, I hate just using a neck lead as I feel I’m always yanking at her neck. We have tried other harnesses, the last one she hated and would run off when I tried to put it on her, but this one is great, well padded and with strong Velcro straps and an adjustable strap to secure in place ensuring a snug fit to the dog. The lead clips on to the back, which also has a handle on, which fastens securely down so when they are not on the lead and go off through trees and brambles they don’t get caught! The only one problem I noticed was that the clip for the strap is right behind the front leg, I was worried this may cause chafing on a long walk, but I’ve not noticed any problem and she’s quite happy for me to put on her.
Excellent fits my frenchie perfectly and she runs jumps like its not there good bits are the handle can be strapped down so she doesn’t get caught in or under anything, easy to wash quick big buckle makes it really fast and easy to put on, big ring to clip your lead onto the best harness I have ever brought great job =D> also she has room to wear a collar and it doesn’t interfere
