Can't say re durability as have only had it this year.
Very happy so far with this hose. The length is great and it’s easy to reach where I need to take it. The nozzle is superb. The best one I’ve ever had. It’s easy to control the amount of water flowing through the head, easy to turn it off from the head. It has different sprays. Would I buy it again? Oh yes, but I hope it lasts well and I don’t need to.

This hose looks much better quality than my last one although that lasted a couple of years.

Folds up lovely and small but extends to the very end of my garden. It’s amazing, you have to push the lever up on the nozzle for it to fully extend (worked that out on day 2) it definitely does reach the 100ft once you get the knack. I love the multi-way spray handle. So far very happy, cannot vouch for durability as early days but so far very happy indeed

I bought this for my brother because his old expending hose pipe started leaking after a few usage.This one looks very good and a much better quality but with time will know .It comes with brass fittings and a water gun and spare washers in a kit which is very good .
Light and easy to use but extra care is required
The hose is quite light and compact once the water is emptied whilst long enough (around 100 feet as claimed) to reach every corners of my garden. I like it very much. In the very beginning, I had some problem to connect the nozzle to the hose end, possibly because of the soft plastic thread of the nozzle adapter was slightly damaged by the sharp and hard copper screw of the hose end when I tried to connect them. After contacted the seller, they quickly sent me another nozzle with a metallic adapter and the connection was straight away (Brilliant customer support!). So, you should be very careful when you try to connect the copper hose end with the plastic nozzle adapter. Also, you need some time to get used to the expansion/retraction of the hose following the change of the water pressure. Pay extreme attention to the path that the hose passes through. Don’t use great force to pull the hose if it is stopped by any object like the house wall corner, path curbs, etc. Particularly, keep the hose away from prickly plants. Only after a couple of times of use, the fabric skin of my hose already got a minor damage spot probably by stings of roses in my garden, fortunately just the cloth whilst the tube itself is still OK. I’m also a little bit suspicious how long the expansion/retraction feature could last. Perhaps by the end of days, the hose may not retract itself any more when the elasticity of the latex tube dies away. But for now, it works fine. I enjoy it very much.

Wnt to water plants for my neighbour, they had one of these it was so brilliant that I/We had to have one…Talk about keeping up with the Jones!!!!!! Really impressed with the kit especially how it expands, but most of all how it contracts when to turn of the water supply and drain the pipe though the spray nozzle.

I cannot believe how far it stretches I unwound it and when I turned it on it just kept expanding and with the twin taps to turn it off you are totally in charge
Lightweight and easy to use
This hose seems better then the normal run of the mill hoses that kink a lot. As for durability only time will tell. So far it looks good.
Shut off valve
I bought this hose because it had a shut off valve and from the description, had at least a 3 layer tube.
The shut off tube has been handy when filling a slip and slide garden toy, and also it did not tangle. The hose had sufficient pressure for the slip and slide sprinklers to work. The fittings are inferior however in quality compared to another hose I purchased. The metal is clearly not brass. I did not need the spray that came with it which is just as well because it was really poor quality.

This house is the best expandable house I’ve had. Had others that broke when pulled to hard around objects. You can feel the difference in quality. I believe that this is the house I need.

Fantastic customer service
The hose was fine when I came to use it this year the part where it joins the tap had frozen. In tinkering with it I lost the little screw. Contacted customer services who are unbelievably helpful and they sent me a replacement part which I have fitted and the hose works perfectly

Cannot believe how light it is and easy to connect. Bought the 100ft model and seems fine. Only used it twice so far but it’s so much better than others I’ve had previously. Don’t know at this stage how durable it is but here’s hoping. Happy with my purchase.
Solid brass attachments
Looks sturdy and has solid brass attachment for the tap, not like cheep plastic ones from my previous one. I hope it will last more than one season. There are a couple of things I’m not quite happy about. The first thing is that it says will expand 3x its size . Don’t think it’s the case. Expands little but not as much. The other thing is that you need to protect it from the sun and don’t drag it on the concrete. 2 things are difficult to achieve in the garden.

Early Days Yet but seems more robust than my previous expanding hose
My previous hose developed leaks from about a month old this seems to be tougher, although with the previous one it seemed to be a rose thorn caused the 1st leak, after that I took more care but after developing 5 further leaks I thought it was time for a change. The construction of this seems to be stronger but I guess only time will tell, at least this one has a warranty.

Had hoselock hoses for years. Dislike the crappy plastic fittings and hoses that become detached.
This hose is different. Proper metal fittings that are leak-free under strong water pressure. The hose line itself is comically flexible, expanding and shrinking dependent on water pressure. It’s actually really cool.
And the sprinkler head with it’s different water patterns is also great. Particularly like the in-line water isolator just beneath the head.

Superb hose
Really impressed with the hose, seems a quality product and durable. To watch it shrink back to its original size, a simple thing, is great allowing it to be stored in the supplied bag. It takes far less room to store this than a conventional hose. Pleased with the purchase.

The length was just right it was easy to use but I did find it a little on the heavy side but overall I love it.
Lightweight and does not leak!
Following two purchases of flexi hosepipes which had to be returned as they leaked on first use this one seems a far superior product. I am confident it will serve me well. I use it as an outside shower! Having a small swim pool it’s perfect to shower of chemicals.

I’ve got this garden hose with very well packed, and this hose is really light weight when there’s no water inside, when I use this hose watering my garden, I found it could extend itself, and it’s long enough for my garden. The spray is fantastic too. I love this hose.

Good hose, useless spray nozzle after 3 uses !
The hose itself is great but…after 3 uses the spray nozzle no longer works !! I will be requesting a new spray nozzle !!

I bought it basically for cleaning the car. Seems ok but on closer inspection the outer shielding seems to snag on the brick driveway putting the long term durability into question. Time will tell
Good Hose
This hose is very good quality. Better than the cheaper one I had that broke after 8 months.
Only downside, you can’t use any other connectors with it and the spray on the soaker setting just dribbles out and the jet is not powerful.

I have been using this more or less daily for a month now. So far so good. The brass fittings are good quality and the hose seems well constructed too. I have good water pressure and as a result the hose expansion is in line with what is claimed. The spray nozzle is reasonable quality as well. All in, good value for money.

I’ve tried the xhose expandle hose by different makers and both burst very quickly and without much use but this seems a lot better and stronger, very happy with this product.

The brass fittings are very light indeed, but work ok.
When you are finished there is still a lot of water under pressure in hose, so if you don’t leave the tap open, the water comes out under pressure when you take it off the Tap!

Very high quality product. If you want to take the normal head off and clip on to a pressure washer you also need to order an adapter for this as it does not come with one . A bit disappointing as it is quite expensive.

Everything seems to be good but only had the hose a few days. Durability really isn’t a fair rating until I’ve had it for some time. The hose does seem to have better durability than the hose of this type that I owned.

EXCELLENT HEAVY DUTY HOSE
Thought I’d try a ‘heavy duty’ expandable hose to replace my previous hose that burst after a few uses (not this make or supplier). So far so good. The brass fittings are quite light and do the job beautifully. The hose itself is thick and flexible. Supplied with a handy cradle if you want it securing to an outside wall. Delivery was quick, thank you.

1st use appears excelle
Used it once. First thoughts are that it appears much stronger and more durable than the x hoses I’ve had in the past. The brass fittings also appear well constructed with no annoying drips or leaks. Expands well and shrinks back really well. Useful bag to store it in. Only negative is the spray gun which doesn’t appear too substantial so I’ve used my old one instead. Also the supplied spray gun screws on to the hose fitting unlike my x hose. There is no push fit connector for connecting to a spray gun. As such I’ve had to use my old connector to connect to my jet sprayer when I washed the car.

I can quite honestly say this is the best hose I’ve ever purchased. Very easy to use, retracts when you finish using it so easy for storage. Came in a little bag which I keep it in and hangs in the back if my garden gate. There are so many different settings for sprays which is brilliant and the brass fittings for the tap are of excellent quality. Seller brilliant with comes and delivery highly recommend!

The hose is well made with all accessories provided. It is east to use and store with no problems, The range of settings are useful in all situations for watering and cleaning.

Great Quality hose which handles high water pressure
great quality hose and brass fittings and it takes very high water pressure. Love being able to stop the water flow without the connection flying off the tap. But it states no kinking – when water is flowing it does kink and has knotted (although this has not stopped the water flow yet). With standard hoses you can unwind the full length, leave the end 100 feet away and then turn it on but this hose will only stretch once water is flowing meaning you have to carry the slightly heavier hose some distance. Also you must not leave this hose out in frost or burning sun so it’s not for lazy people! Overall though I prefer this hose.

I bought this hose last year and really liked it. I love the way it contracts down to a very small coiled pile if you keep the trigger open after you turn the tap off, ie empty all the water out. Its a great design and goes a very long way up my garden plus is easy to store. However, the seam at the top of the spray gun split at some stage over the winter, after several months of use. I tried to mend it with superglue but it still leaked. So I contacted Customer Services for Kettoya (in China) and they sent me a new spray gun. It took a couple of weeks and was covered under the one year guarantee so no charge. Highly recommended.

Definitely Durable
I am very impressed with this hose. The other expandable hoses I have bought in the past have only lasted a short time, one even broke on a thorn from a rose bush. So I needed something harder wearing and this certainly is. It doesn’t stretch quite as much but that is fine with me. It is also a bit heavier but better than the old-fashioned ones. I am pleased with my hard-wearing hose.

The hose seems to be fine. However it is a little early to completely critique it, because I have only had to use it once.
Suggest you ask for ratings mid way through the warmer months, when one can really have used the hose several times.

This item seems to be well made and sturdy. I particularly like the metal fittings, which seem more substantial than the usual plastic. Having now used the hosepipe a couple of times have to say impressed with the quality feel of the hose. Looks good, expands and then contracts well. Brass fittings are a nice touch. Slightly let down by gun, feels as if ratchet mechanism for spray selection is off, jet is more of a messy spray.
probably like a lot of people had 3 or 4 of these hosepipes and split after a while I am very pleased with this one i dont think with the strength of this one it will ever split its very light but so robust time will tell of course but at the moment extremely pleased with this one and opens up to 100ft brilliant lovely brass fittings as well came quickly well packaged very pleased thank you

Purchased this hose after 2 other expandable hoses lasted no longer than a couple of weeks.
This one seems much stronger and definitely better made.

Ok here’s an update.
Had the hose 6 months,very heavy use during the summer,light use over the last couple of months.
The hose has surpassed my expectations,hope I’m not tempting fate but no leaks whatsoever.
Definitely recommend this hose.
Another update, because I didn’t store it in the shed over the winter,the gun split on a seam when I came to use it this year.
Easily replaced gun,now know to store it inside during the winter.
The hose did develop snags but definitely NO leaks!
I have had two expanding hoses from another supplier and both burst but this one will hopefully last as it is four ply.
It was delivered quickly and well packaged with tap splitter ,spare washers, a reel of joint tape, brass fittings, wall hanger and a bag to hold the coiled hose. The outer casing is well made a looks as if it will be more durable than the others.
A thing to note is that other reviewers had some difficulty with the fitting of the quick release end of the hose to their tap and I was fooled for a while until I discovered the union that goes into the quick release has two parts and unscrews to leave a 3/4″ union that usually suits uk taps.

Well made product which arrived on time. Had a problem with the Y connection leaking. Contacted the Kettoya Customer Services and had a very speedy reply with very helpful advice. Our problem was solved and the hose has worked perfectly ever since. Very efficient. Would definitely recommend this hose.
Quality
Excellent quality product, supplied fittings are useful and well made, once you get used to the sequence of using this hose it’s excellent, uncoil hose from hanger, turn on tap and it expands to the stated length, once finished turn off tap and empty the water thats left under pressure in the hose into a waterring can, the hose retracts as the water expels making coiling and storage easy on the supplied hanger.

I had huge expectations regarding this product based on the reviews I had read.
It arrived and I was at a loss as to how to fit the components together! I was disappointed that there was no manual attached to it, neither was there any useful information online. Thankfully, I saw an unrelated video on YouTube that showed me how to put one of the parts together after which I had to approach my almost 90 years old neighbour who is a very keen gardener to show me how hers was put together. My luck was a relative of hers was around who was able to help me.
Once I got over those hurdles, I have been enjoying my new hose. It is so far a great buy.
It is however early days yet but I would score it a 4/5 so far.
This is the 2nd hose I’ve purchased from Amazon UK. The 1st hose was Running Bulls expandable 150ft hose which was cheap, badly made & leaked, it was completely broken within a few weeks. So it was with some trepidation that I ordered this Kettoya hose, but so far, so good. I have been very pleased with the quality, but have only given 4 stars for durability as its still early days! All in all a great product, as long as it stands up to wear & tear long term.
At the moment it’s working well. No problem at the moment. Gone for this product as it had good reviews and I needed a new one as my last hose from a different brand burst after only 3 months! It’s a little bit more money than I would like to spend on a hose but. With the quality of the product i can’t complain.
