5 product tips

5 product features you should know

Many of our products do not show at first glance what they can. That’s why a closer look is worth it. We have deepened for you in the details of these products and show you some (perhaps unknown) product features.

As a guitarist, you will probably be exactly if you are desperately looking for your pick as you do if you occasionally search for your wallet, keys and other small items. You might think it’s in your pocket, but no. The only possible conclusion is that there must be a hole in your bag. Whether there is a causal relationship between your bag and the mysterious disappearance of these everyday items is still unclear. But it is solid: A solution is urgently required. In order to meet this need, we have developed a kind of “emergency memory” in the guitar stands “Heli 2” and “Guardian”. It can hold at least two guitar picks, so you always have one on hand when you need one.

Life is full of surprises. Admittedly, this is nothing new, but anyone who has ever stood on stage will tell you it’s true. The monitor speaker can sound tin or your wireless microphone does not work, and then the DI speaker will be powered up and turned off, and your equipment will be wobbly. However, as an experienced musician, you know that there is a solution for every small problem. With the adjustable foot end caps, which are integrated into various K&M keyboard and device stands, uneven floors are no obstacle. To adjust the foot end caps to the floor, all you have to do is twist it. It’s a little more elegant solution than grabbing a stack of coasters from the bar.

The rehearsal room and tidiness may be polar opposites. Nevertheless, you have to be at least a little tidy, and an intelligent cable management system is an easy option For example, you can guide cables through the cable clamp. For Omega, however, you can attach the cables to the frame with flexible Velcro straps. In addition to the pedal cable, you will also find space for a power cord, effects device cable and your laptop charger. For the Omega we also carry an optional cable organiser that allows you to hide the charger, multiple plugs and similar items. Keeping order is a breeze

Sound technicians and employees are amazingly stoic and calm at Gigs. This has a reason. They rely on their experience, habits and knowledge of working with good and reliable equipment. Good equipment is not just a preference. It also makes the work of all faster, more reliable and convenient. That’s why our base plates for speaker stands have an integrated carry handle. The handle gives you a secure grip, a clear advantage with some of this weight. The base plate also features an opening for cables that allows you to lay cables neatly and neatly under the base plate.

You’ve probably heard that we have expanded our product range with products to protect your health. Disinfectant stand, columns and holders are now available in K&M quality. But in fact, we’ve always worked to develop stools, orchestral seats and other items that are not only functional, but also ergonomically designed to do good for your health.

This has a simple reason. As a musician, you have to do with heavy equipment: Tube amplifiers, active speakers or a keyboard definitely have weight. So that you do not have to carry too much weight over your head when setting up speakers, our speaker stands have a mounting aid. This allows you to guide the flange of the speaker directly onto the speaker stand.

The stand is strong, sturdy, built like a tank with lots of leg room! The only drawback? The price tag. But as with anything that K&M makes, it’s gonna be expensive, but you get what you pay for. I’d love to see wheels come stock on this stand. I don’t wanna spend about $250 to be able to move this stand around my studio.

This is the second K&M Keyboard stand that I’ve purchased. I like the simple and rapid adjustability of the stand. It is one of the sturdiest keyboard stands that I own. I prefer table-style keyboard stands to the “X” and “Z” styles, which are adequate for lighter weight keyboards. For a heavy 88 key synth or stage piano, the table style gives you more stability and more leg room to operate pedals for the instrument. Highly recommended, and a bargain at the price.

This was very easy to build and my fathers keyboard fit perfectly no problems at all. It is also easy to move from each side of the living room. I recommend this to anyone who has a large electronic keyboard.

I bought this to replace an X-frame stand which couldn’t be adjusted to exactly the right height and which stopped a chair or stool from being put underneath the keyboard. This stand is 100% better than its predecessor. It is easy to put together, has lots of adjustability and it is very robust and solid. I can sit comfortably with my legs beneath the keyboard and after playing I can put a chair fully underneath the stand. It’s a lot of money, but in my view worth it.

There are plenty of good reviews about this stand so I’ll be short. It is very sturdy. Simple to put together. One glance at the picture in the assembly instructions is all you will need for assembly. Adjusts from sitting to standing height. This stand is expensive, but I wish I had purchased it sooner. For many years I banged my knees on an X type stand. This stand is worth the money.

It came 2 days later than I expected but it’s worth it I guess. I wanted to use it for my slim electric keyboard but it was slightly and it’s better for heavy-duty. It’s super cool. I recommend it.

    RECOMENDADSIMO.

Saludos

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersEinfach ein guter und stabiler Stand.

This stand was purchased for a large digital piano. Part of the reason for picking this model had to do with leg-room. This was for my very tall son, and the X- and Z-style stands have parts in the way of your legs. This one is open, had wonderful reviews, and people were very happy with it. I do think the price was at least 25% over where it should have been, but I also note that these are made in Germany. This should be a durable and long-used item.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve was looking to purchase a stand that allows a multi-tier setup, I’ve been using a X style stand for a while now, alongside a side table to hold up laptop and audio interface. I wanted to find something more sturdier and give me some floor space back.

I came across the omega stand (and its accessories) and did some thorough research, everything seemed up to scratch so took a plunge with the premium price tag.

Needless to say it was worth every penny. The quality of the product is extremely high, especially compared to products at a much cheaper price – whilst you might save some money here and there, you will loose that quality. With the Omega stand you can tell, as you are fitting it together, that it’s been designed to an extremely high standard.

I ordered the second stacker shelves and the tray to hold my equipment. It took no time at all to add these, and they feel just as sturdy as the main stand. This also allows me to cable tidy on the underside of the tray to hide everything.

German engineered product design with high quality components – very happy with my purchase, will last me for years to come.

Have also placed an order for the adaptor and mounting bracket, so I can attach a boom arm to hold my condenser microphone.

    Worth every penny. Amazing stand.

Man I love this stand. Having the room for your feet to go through without hitting parts of the stand is amazing, one of those things you never new you were really missing till you have it!
Also this stand goes an extra 8″ lower than any other stand on the market which is great for people using it under the desks who want to slide it under the desk when they are not using it and not notice that its there.
I have yet to use the double tier addition to it but I’ve only read great things about its mobility.

I plan to eventually replace every keyboard stand in my studio with this one.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought and like most things about this stand. Easy to assemble, very sturdy, and very adjustable to standing or sitting performance positions with good knee room. Maybe some would consider it bulky but I have van space and find it easy enough to just pick it up and transport assembled. Note the width is not adjustable. Here comes the bad – the cost is high and an additional tier level is almost as much as the basic stand. Overall I’m glad I bought it.

This stand is sturdy and the piano is rock solid on it.

One thing I don’t like is that the minimum height is not low enough for my Piano bench which is a pretty standard height.

Also, this is great if you have lots of space but if you’re tight on space and you want it up against a wall in a small room then it doesn’t fit the bill. The wide base supports on the bottom make sure it won’t tip but this keeps you from putting it against a wall.

For a standing piano for live performances this is great but the lowest height setting is not low enough. Be careful to check the measurements of your bench/seating compared to the minimum height if you expect to use this sitting down, especially if you are not super tall.

For reference, I’m 5 foot 8 inches. My bench is 19.5 inches and my piano is 5.25 inches from its base to the top of the keys. With this combination I would need my bench to be at least 21.5-22.5 inches to use comfortably with this stand at its lowest height.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI wanted a piano stand that didn’t annoy me by having legs or bars in front of my feet and this stand stood out for that reason. Initially I balked at the price, it is very expensive, but then I justified this by reminding myself how expensive my keyboard is and how I should make sure to get the best support possible so I don’t damage that. For these reasons I really like this stand. It was easy to assemble and feels very solid. I haven’t had any wobbles or issues with my keyboard on this.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSure it costs much more than their competitors. But it’s good, well designed, and sturdy, while theirs are not. Plenty of room for your legs, which is super important. No wobble. And the unit is not too deep, so things don’t protrude out of front or back. I got the whole shebang with the table: 2 vertical rod supports, a laptop stand, and a sheet music holder. See the photo of how it all pulls together. The latter cannot be bought in the US and has to come from the UK. Amazon will offer you to purchase from their UK site, but you don’t want to do that. If you want to get from Amazon, go directly to their UK site, otherwise they will tack on a sales tax (!) to your order. But there are other UK vendors you can find and some of these may be a bit less expensive. I don’t understand why the UK prices are about half the prices in the US, but that’s the reality. You have to factor in shipping costs if you get from the UK, but for the smaller items you can still save compared to buying locally.

With normal play, the stand does not move at all. Putting force on the keyboard does have a very small amount of movement. I suspect that the K&M 4 leg table stand would be a bit more stable, but this works perfectly for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHolds a heavy, full-size keyboard. No wobbling, no wiggling. Arms and legs can be removed to lay flat if needed, though it fits in my van fully assembled just fine. Not quite as easy to transport as a collapsible stand, because – it doesn’t collapse! It’s definitely worth the slight extra effort and worth the money if you are using a heavy expensive keyboard. Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAfter previously playing my Yamaha CP33 ( one of the heavier 88 key pianos I have played) on a single frame x stand, this stand feels notably more robust and solid, as it ought to be considering the price. The construction is good quality, it is made well, the locking mechanism is strong and I have no reservation in saying that this is an exceptionally safe and solid stand that will stand strong in any situation. I have also purchased a mic stand from Konig and Meyer in the past which is also superb quality and outlasted many other stands and so it seems you get what you pay for. Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersThis is an amazing quality keyboard stand. Too bad it’s $200, but when you feel the quality of this solid steel you’ll know your money went to good use. It is imported from Germany, which is part of the reason it is expensive.

I wanted a stand that offers legroom underneath (so I didn’t want an X stand), is expandable to have at least 2 tiers total, and has wheels.

This one has excellent legroom, it’s perfect for sitting down at my desk and have a keyboard in front. I cannot attest to standing, but it has a lot of height settings that are spaced in approximately 0.75″ increments. I love it.

Next, it supports not 2 tiers, but THREE tiers!! In 2018, they released two new part numbers called the 18811 Stacker and the 18821 Stacker. 18811 adds on as a 2nd tier, and 18821 inserts into 18811 to give you a third tier! Not only that, but you can get the aluminum tray 18819 and turn one of your tiers into a platform!!! I have ordered it and am going to have my synthesizer on the main tier, and maybe a TB-03, TR-09, and Ableton push on that 2nd tier!

Lastly, the wheels. I ordered 2″ DICASAL stem casters from Amazon. They are made of “PU foam” (aka polyurethane/rubber) – very durable and are rated for over 600 lbs of weight as a set of 4.

To install them, first I wanted to remove the bottom 4 pads to reveal just the metal frame. This way the wheels are attached directly to the metal (more stability), and also the pads added a bit extra height, and I wanted to keep it as low as possible since the wheels are already adding another 2.75″ of height to the stand. To remove the pads, look at the underside and you’ll see a hole. There is a plastic rivet holding it tightly in place. I used pliers and some small but very strong scissors to break those off. This way, the pads slip right off and you can put them back on anytime.

Next, I drilled some holes. This was tough for me since I’m not used to drilling metal, but here’s what I did:

Step 1: use a 1/8″ drill bit (I’m pretty sure I used a titanium bit. Needs to be good for drilling steel) and put it through the hole where the rivet was and drill all the way through to the other side of the metal. Do this for both holes on both feet (so you’re drilling 4 times). This way, you have perfectly aligned holes which you will use as a guide to drill a larger hole.

Step 2: For the holes on the upper side of the feet (e.g. you would see these when the stand is upright), drill 3/8″ holes. This is enough space for the stem of the caster wheel to go through.

Step 3: For the hole on the underside (this is hole already exists because it’s where the rivet went), drill a 13/16″ hole. I didn’t have a 13/16″ drill bit, and in fact it may be very difficult to get such a huge drill bit to cut this. So, I drilled using the largest drill bit I had close to 13/16″ (in my case 3/8″ was the closest I could do). Then, I used a tungsten carbide cutter (9903) dremel tool to make the hole the right size. Pretty much, you need it to be about a .8″ hole. Accuracy is not needed here, you just need the caster wheel to fit through the hole properly so that the weight of the stand is evenly distributed across the entire round platform of the caster (and not just the screw/bolt of the stem).

Step 4: I screwed on the caster wheel, and it’s done! (I added some loctite threadlocker blue 242 to each screw so the bolt stays on tight and doesn’t loosen while I’m moving it around, since the stem length of 1″ just perfectly has the washer screwed on with no room to spare).

This thing feels very sturdy, and I can lock the wheels as needed. I just set this up and am writing this review while it’s fresh in my head, but will provide an update if anything changes!

UPDATE: I received the 18811 Stacker and the 18819 keyboard tray today. It is amazing!!! Just see the pics. I wish the tray was wider to fit more stuff though.

I added wheels and it’s PERFECT!

Finally, found the quality I was assuming and expecting from other brands.

It is sturdy, well-built, easy to break down and assemble, room for legs and pedals underneath

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersRock solid for a studio setup, a little less so for a traveling setup/teardown situation.
Although very doable setup/teardown, storage of the legs and arms is cumbersome as they do not fold down; not designed to as it impacts the overall strength.
    A very well built/simple design.
Only downside, is the price 0 a little high.

Very sturdy, but minimum level of the keyboard is a bit high for my particular keyboard, just had to upgrade stool too!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis stand is pricey yes, But build quality is excellent. You wont ever go back to an x type stand. Think about how your legs always hit the cross pieces on the cheaper stands. My Roland FP 7F is very heavy but it will not wobble around on this stand.Adjustment Knobs are quick and built well also.I should have bought this sooner!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAspect “rang et classe dans mon salon. Pied trs stable : rien voir avec un pied en X

Ce produit permet de rapprocher le clavier du mur contrairement aux pieds “une jambe” inclins qui conviennent plus une utilisation nomade.

1 toile en moins car peu pratique en dplacement peu encombrant une fois dmont, aucun mcanisme ne permet de le faire rapidement.

Si votre clavier reste la plus part du temps la mme place, que vous souhaitez en perdre le moins possible n’hsitez pas y mettre le prix cela en vaux la peine.

    Valorise mon PSR670.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’m convinced this is the best keyboard stand made. It was expensive, but it’s rock solid. I doubt I’ll have to travel much with it, but couldn’t think about going back to an X-stand at this point.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have several keyboard stands and this is, by far, the best in terms of quality and ease of use. I ended up buying the second tier and that is great as well. I will not purchase another X stand again!
