Karcher window cleane
Possibly one of the best items bouggt from Amazon, it cleans the windows as it should.
Good on flat glass only
Good product works well on flat glass but can’t use on curves such as windscreens which is partly why we bought it, for motorhome condensation. It’s good but you have to be quick as once the surface tension is broken condensation drips quickly. The instructions are rubbish, for example how quickly should you drag it down the glass?

Brilliant for windows, shower screens, mirrors even the bath and shower tray. Not completely streak free but if you put a little vinegar in your water then it’s pretty much sparkling. Once the solution had run out I just used a little bit of stardrops in the water for the spray bottle and a drop of vinegar (not too much vinegar as your house will smell like a fish and chip shop)

This is the second one I bought, the first one was bought in Nov 2017 and it has just stopped working, the green light stayed on all the time and motor refused to move. Left it on charge for 4 hours and still nothing happening. So bought number 2. The first one has been used everyday since Nov 2017 to dry out the shower cubicle. So not bad that it lasted so long. When I dismantle the old one, the motor still works, the battery is charged up, I think some moisture has got inside and shorted the circuit board. The new one cost 49 but the one in Nov 2017 cost only 39.

Great tool that's dramatically improved our wet windows
Works very well and helped sort out all the water on our single glazed windows during the peak of winter. The battery lasted between a week or two when using it a few minutes each day. I’m very happy with it and would buy a replacement if it broke.

Smear free windows at las
The small bottle with sponge attachment to put soap on windows leaks all over the place when trying to spray window – have taken the spray nozzle off and just poured solution straight onto sponge. Actual karcher water remover is very good.

This was the second of these I have bought with this item going to my daughter.
She has large windows which condense badly and which were particularly bad after redecorating.
A run over the windows in the morning with this device helped the house to dry.

Better than I expected
This has been really helpful! We struggle with condensation and often have to wipe down the windows, this has served that function really well, as well a being great help for any water spills on hard surfaces. Holds the charge fairly well, super easy to open, suction is pretty good for the price and it’s really lightweight.

Does the job perfectly
Takes care of the condensation on all our windows. You can use it sideways which is what we were mainly lookinig for. You do have to be careful to do it when the water content is still very low, as you dont want the water to seep out through the small pipe and get into the motor part. We’ve use it almost daily in the last month and have not had to recharge since we first got it, so great battery life too.

Finish with micro fibre cloth
Need to use a micro fibre cloth. Find the cleaning fluid even when spraying a lot doesn’t quite do the job. Super soapy water is better (with a sponge so it’s almost a froth on the glass).

Bought this gadget for my hubby who obsesses about drying the bathroom. He loves it and rates it 5 stars. Has had hours of fun out of it already. I’ve tried it as was a bit sceptical but it really is amazing at it’s job. Hoovered up every bit of moisture , the towel, toothbrushes and the family dog who was having a bath at the time.
All joking aside, if you are contemplating getting one, do it, this really works. We’ve had two other cheaper models in the past but they didn’t cut the mustard. I could have sucked the moisture up better myself. This is the business.

I use it for drying off the screen after a shower. It reduces the condensation in the room very quickly. This is the second window vac I’ve had & on this one the blade doesn’t seem as flexible & squeaks!! I don’t tend to use it for windows as it leaves lines. Good for reducing condensation. But overall I’m pleased with the product.

Bought this for my mum as she has condensation on her windows, it’s so lightweight even for an elderly person to use. Easy to empty and changes very quickly, usually in 2 hours. Lasts days on a full charge. I’ve used it to clean my windows, takes all the effort out of using a cloth, the suction is amazing, saves so much time.

Quiet to use
Changers up quickly and is quiet to use. We keep it in the bathroom to suction down the shower cubicle and mirror/window after a steam shower and it’s brilliant.

Used to remove condensation from windows, battery doesn’t last that long but long enough to do windows in house twice over 2 days. Fills up quick but no warning when fall, just spills out when pulled away from window.

When used with the soap spray the windows are very clean but sometimes need to be wiped down with a cloth to remove lines left when the water is vacuumed.
Streaky windows
A little disappointed that it did not perform as well as expected but the windows were particularly dirty so perhaps repeated cleaning will bring a better result. I also noticed that this item needed to be kept vertical when using otherwise it tends to spill

Excellent window cleane
Used to clean the condensation of the windows and it removed the water instantaneously. Left the windows dry and sparkly. Comes with 20ml solution which you can buy more of separately. A soft brush and liquid spray are provided. Not bad for the price I paid.

Effective piece of kit but battery could be bette
Very pleased with this. Keep finding new uses. Great for drying off the shower screen and the condensation on bathroom windows. Not as noisy as I thought it would be, less than a hairdryer and good suction. Easy to hold. The small blade accessory is a useful addition.
The battery is the weak spot. After 6 months it requires frequent recharging.
This is a replacement for a WindowVac that stopped charging. I decided to register the product this time – beware they require the model number but it’s hard to find and the Karcher website is no help.
The number is under the water tank – remove the top part of the body (not the blade) remove the tank and it’s there.
These window vacs are easy and quick to use. Just spray water, spread with mop provided and dry with the vac.
Results are pretty good.
They provide a sachet of cleaner to add to the spray tank with it but if you don’t want to buy more – just add one ot two drops of washing up liquid to the spray tank if marks don’t shift with water alone. (that’s what a window cleaner adds to his/her rinse bucket)

Does a great job and I hate cleaning windows but this gadget has turned the chore into something more pleasant. It’s very satisfying that you collect the dirty water so you see how much you’ve cleaned away.
I bought this to deal with condensation while waiting for my new windows to arrive and it didnt disappoint. Easy to use and works well. I have even tried it as a window cleaner and worked well giving clean, streak free glass. Would definitely recommend
This thing was amazing, saw it for a while but couldn’t imagine it was any better than when I do it with my existing equipment. It had good reviews, and was on offer and my windows keep getting dirty.
Using the two devices in the kit proved to be quick, doing my internal windows in around 15 minutes (five large windows, five small windows, plus two large mirrors), and they’re genuinely steak free.
Yeah, the price is probably steep, but I have a cat that likes to me up the windows so I’m going to be using this frequently, and I’m sure my family will get use out of it too.
I absolutely would recommend this product as I’m genuinely stunned how good it was.

I’ve always hated the job of cleaning windows but this karcher window vac makes it easy peasy should have bought one years ago. The suction is great if I had any thing negative to say it could do with a cap on spray bottle for storage of liquid had to transfer to a bottle with top. So if your thing of buying one don’t hesitate just buy it worth erey penny.

We never cleaned glass so much!! Our dog likes making a mess of the patio door windows, with this its a 2 minute job to clean then, no streaks or mess, just clean glass!!
I had family members who had this machine before so i thought I’d give it a go. I live in an apartment with a load of glass doors floor to ceiling and I’m constantly battling with the dust. A normal squeegee would always leave streaks , it was time consuming to get clean windows using a microfibre cloth with the squeegee. The window vac just sucks up the streaks and does not leave even the slightest of streaks unless the window is super dirty, then it just takes 2 attempts to get perfect. It is so much faster and easier to clean the windows.

We have a a house with three architectural periods, plus of course the pertinent windows ! This works very well on the Georgian and Victorian but panes just too small in the Elizabethan rooms !

Bought to replace Karcher WV 5, which has issues with replaceable battery (leaks, shorts and refuses to recharge – bad design!). This model WV2 has a sealed battery so hoping it will fair better. Suction head of WV5 and WV2 are interchangeable, so hoping I can make better use of the accessories from previous purchases of WV5. As for cleaning function – brilliant. Don’t skimp on squirting window, and keep the blade clean frequently with a quick wipe with a cloth. Easy streak free windows. Don’t allow to overfill, and don’t turn upside down when filled with water. Following all instructions as I did, BUT be WARNED, avoid models with a removable rechargeable battery. Karcher have not got this part of their product functioning, and as it was so eloquently put to me, “it’s your problem if it fails a third time”. It did, same fault!
Item arrived on time. Used it on our sliding Doors which needed a good clean after a dirty rainfall. The window vac worked very well cutting down the time to wash these windows by at least 50%. The only thing we had to do was to use a microfibre cloth to clean around the very edge of the window where the rubber blade can’t quite get full grip but otherwise very happy, no water left on the window and hardly any streaks plus the vac is pretty quiet as well hence cleaning windows at 9 o’clock at night is not a problem!
Wow! I have always avoided cleaning windows as it’s the worst job in the world especially when you stand back and can still see smear marks but can’t get rid of them.
