How do I know what size plant I need for my space?
All our plants are measured at their highest points from the base of the plant pot to the highest leaf. The actual height will vary depending on how you arrange it. An additional helpful tip when you are measuring for outdoor artificial topiaries is that additional height can be added by purchasing a larger planter then standing the plant on bricks inside it before covering with gravel or similar. Examples of this can be seen in our photographs on our topiary pages.
How can I make my artificial plant or tree look real?
Our plants are high grade and ultra-realistic but the key to making them look absolutely real is to spend some time dressing out the leaves and checking the plant from all angles if you have purchased one of our wired plants;
- Unpack the plant and stand it on a flat surface, removing outer packaging
- Starting at the bottom, carefully fold out the leaves. It can help to look at our pictures or a photograph of the real type of plant you have purchased to get an idea of how the leaves should sit
- To get a natural curve on the leaves carefully hold the tip in one hand and the stem in the other and run you hand along the curve to bend it gently into shape
- Look at the plant from all angles making sure there are no gaps and your plant is well dressed out and ready to pot
- Put the plant inside a larger planter. You can stand it on bricks to raise the height inside
- Cover the base of the pot with a layer of gravel or soil

Quite sturdy, has survived the high winds we have had lately! Looks realistic. We put it in our own pot and weighted it down a little.

When the box arrived left outside luckily quiet area, the box was all squashed I opened it a few leaves fell off, anyway once I fluffed it up highly impressed. Looks great in my extension.
Finally getting round to tarting up the place after moving in a while back. I thought some foliage would look nice, and as I’m very good at killing real plants, it seemed artificial was the best way to go.
The tree arrived yesterday – not sure about final placement, or that I’ve arranged all the leaves optimally yet.
But I love this tree – looks great (decently realistic), great quality, little bit fiddly to arrange the leaves (but no big deal), and arrived in a metallic gold pot.
So pleased with it I ordered another one (different kind) from Leaf.
Looks very attractive and lifelike. We Put it into a bigger pot which was filled with a variety of things to add stability and placed attractive stones on the top. It also looks attractive covered in lights.
Love it. Good quality and the wood trunk makes this artifical plant look realistic.
well this little tree fits in lovely i put some flowers which i also got from amazon to place on the leafs well pleased it dose look real i though
looks good had to manipulate the leaves for a while to suit where it sat, would highly recommend
It was packed well when delivered and had a lot of fun opening up branches (Photos attached). The branches look&feel like real woods and it is beautiful no matter where you put it. I ended up putting it behind the TV but if you’re gonna put it in the open, I recommend getting a new decorative pot for it. Overall, very satisfied!

This arrived bunched up but was easy to rearrange the branches. The trunk looks real and the whole plant is very realistic . It sits nicely in my living room and visitors have all commented positively
I’ve bought two of these. They look really good compared to other artificials.
Prompt delivery. I was wary at first in ordering this but decided to take the plunge and glad l did, much more bushy and realistic than others l have viewed would definitely buy again in future. Competitively priced – (especially as this was on offer) l have bought real trees for similar price – but as this is fake cannot be killed by over/ under watered and can be put anywhere especially useful in places where real plants have difficulty thriving. Like the fact that l didn’t have to put all the money up front and could stagger payment especially at this time of the year.
Arrived quickly, well packaged. Love this artificial tree. Once the leaves have been arranged it is hard to tell if it is faux or real. Very happy with my purchase.

We have used a spray can of clear lacquer to protect against UV, it is a good protection for using these outdoors.
Do remember to make sure you secure the pot well within your own pot, we used a brick and a bag of sand topped with woodchip.

Really nice tree. Good value but one of the branches did fall off in the wind outside, but other than that, really nice.
Absolutely love this plant! Looks very realistic and comes in a very sturdy little pot. Great that you can pay in installments too. Comes in a nice slim box so you just have to spread the branches out when you take it out of the box. Very pleased with it and would definitely recommend. Just wish I had room for another one!

Looks real to me. Not too squashed on delivery either. Only took me a few minutes to fluff it into shape! Please with it.

When arrived ,it stank ,half the leaf’s had come off , and the other half glued upside down,so after 2 days of getting the smell out and reglueing it looks better ,excepted it to be a higher quality product for the cost …
I can’t have real plants as my living room doesn’t get a lot of natural daylight so I’m pleased with this from a distance it does look real. As long as you get a nice pot to put it in too.
Haven’t taken it out of the box yet as it is a Xmas present, but it looks really nice, so pleased it look real.
