In the box I got the following:

Remote control no batteries- just a basic plastic remote, 2x aaa needed, does all the functions
    Power cable
Easy to follow instructions, Spotify connect information leaflet

Technically you do not need a Wi-Fi connection to get this working, I could use the radio, aux ports. Testing the Bluetooth you could stream all the main apps, Apple Music, Amazon, spotify. All with album art showing on the screen. However it will keep prompting for you to go through the setup process, and you will not get all the features if you do not connect it your Wi-Fi, or be able to use UNDOK app. I must point out I only have an Apple device.

Unit it’s self, build quality is sturdy, not sure it’s solid wood more of a veneer , screen, manual dial and buttons not backlit if you do not want to use the remote, can use this but it’s a bit slower. Round the back we have power port, headphone socket, aux in, USB port, aerial. Though I do find the unit a bit on long side, as it will not fit in one of those Swedish storage solutions as it’s 35cm. Which I did find disappointing for where I wanted to initially put it.

I am not an audiophile, however if a system sounds good to me, then I am happy, as I am the only one using it, this system goes loud, the bass is okay, although there is a subwoofer setting hidden away that beefs it up. There is loads of settings to adjust for each section for your preference. I also love that you can set presets for each of these.

So I have used all work well

Line in, headphones in, no issues
Bluetooth – this is a receiver only on the unit
Wifi – recommend using undok app, basic but works well,
    Podcasts
    Internet radio
DAB – need a strongish signal, like the way on the screen it gives you a signal indicator

Would have been nice if there was an optical input as well, as this would work well as mini sound bar.

What I really surprised me, is I have a projector with Bluetooth and works well, with text as well if watching you tube, however you can get lip sync issues with Bluetooth if you use with TVs etc sometimes, hence the addition of an optical socket is a miss I think with this.

Overall it’s a great sounding unit, loads of features, easy to use

Things that let it down for me was size, it’s a touch to big for where I wanted to use it, no optical in socket, think it would make good basic sound system for your tv as well, with all the other added features. The clock as well, Is not visually the best looking when the unit is in stand by.

Apart from that it’s a certainly a box with lots to offe

    Great box tricks
