I’m so pleased with this, a friend recommended I get this one, I suffer with hay-fever and also get headaches from strong smells, I have been fine since I’ve bought this! It’s not too loud and very easy to use. I can leave it on auto to do its thing.
Breath easy and help allergies. Air feels lighter at home. No more stuffy nose such a relief

Its auto mode and coloured indicators reassure you that it’s detecting and removing all the nasties from the air. Walk past it after you’ve been dusting and it springs into action! Some people say it’s noisy but I don’t think it’s bad given how powerful it is. If we run it a night I think it might be quite nice white noise – I’ll just set it to a constant speed so that the level change doesn’t wake me up. Other things are that it’s lightweight and has an intuitive display. Haven’t tried changing filter yet but will be looking for those on offer as the only drawback we saw in the Which? Review was cost of replacement filters.

We love this air purifier – it makes such a difference in our air quality. Previously our air quality was terrible when cooking (even causing me to cough) but this is really helping. The sleep mode is great, the display turns off but it keeps running. It can be a bit noisy if the air quality gets really poor but you can also lower the fan speed if you want it to be more quiet 🙂

Had this in the bedroom for a month now and find I can breathe easier (ie nose rather than mouth). I have the machine on automatic and the colour indicator tells me that the pollution level is low so the noise level is barely noticeable. Very pleased with it.
Very pleased with it. We find it very amusing when it kicks in due to us cooking in the adjoining room. Also when you blow out a candle. Very quite when just ticking along in the background.
Very quiet with easy to use controls. Although I have only used it for a few days I do not regret choosing this purifier EXCEPT that the replacement filters are currently unavailable and appear very costly at over 60 each every 6 months.

This air purifier is great, i just use it in my living room to keep dog smells away as i have a rottweiler also if anybody ever has a smoke i use it then as its great for getting rid of smells and odours especially when its on full powe
Need space around it for it to work properly and it is quite large. But it seems to work very well and not too noisy. My one concern is the availability of replacement filters (and the price). Amazon cancelled my order for a spare filter as they were unable to deliver. There are few other options to get hold of them.

Superb value air purifier. Cuts the nonsense features to spend the money on a good filter and brushless motor. The blade and body design couples with the air well to provide good flow with low noise. The fastest mode is loud but provides incredible flow for those Great Dane dog fart moments.
Husband smokes but I do not. This little machine clears our room in minutes. Just what I wanted. It’s not noisy but you can hear it but once telly is on then it’s not noticeable. Would I buy it again then yes it does what it says on the tin.
Great help for a good night’s sleep for my son who is a hayfever sufferer.
I bought this model recently and I am pleased with its performance,however I think it could be improved by adding wi-fi similar to the other model in the range. I bought the wi-fi model before this one and it works just as good but you have better control over when it operates due to an app availability. Both run extremely quiet except in bad air mode which is understandable. Definitely recommend either model,depending on the size of the room.
I bought this as a solution to being gassed by cheap, nasty, aldi airfreshener sprayed downstairs but came into my room. I did a test spray in the bathroom went upstairs and shut door with the system on minimum.
Sadly I got a little whiff shortly after….So I turned it to max and went and sat on bed, a little miffed having spent 200 of my hard earned notes on this….Shortly after about 2min, I couldn’t really smell the freshener… I was thinking its so so……I then opened my door and it was like being punched in the face. So I conclude that this machine is actually fantastic.
I have only had it a day so will refine review. Other great features are its easy to set up. Simply take off the plastic. Open it up . take filter out bag, replace and switch on. When on sleep mode it cannot be heard and I slept through it. Yes you can turn light off so perfect at night. Its simple, quiet and effective.

Each press of the fan display button switches between 3 speeds. Another button sets things to ‘Auto’. There’s also a standby button and replacement filter indicator. And that’s really all there is to it. The display is LED illuminated, informing you of what setting you’re on, etc. There’s also an illuminated ring of light, circling the display. This informs you of air quality; red being poor, amber being moderate, green being good, and blue being excellent. If you have excellent air quality, select ‘Auto’ mode and just let this purifier do its thing. It’ll automatically change color if the air quality decreases and spin up the fan until air quality has increased. At medium speed, you’ll probably struggle to hear the fan over your TV (even if it’s only at a moderate volume), but at high speed you’ll definitely become aware of it. The good news is that the Levoit is so good at getting rid of air pollutants, that it will probably never spin itself up to high for long. I should also state that there’s a sensor behind a small door on the rear of the unit. This is what detects the quality of the air. This can easily be cleaned with a cotton bud if it becomes clogged.
So, does the unit work? In a nutshell: yes. My wife emptied fresh litter into the cats tray in the adjacent room, and, moments later, the purifier detected the minute particules and illuminated red. The fan spun up and away it went. About 5 minutes later, the ring of light went through amber and back to blue, with the unit gradually spinning down. Fantastic, because, to the naked eye, there was little to no discenible dust kicked up from the emptying of the fresh litter. Very impressive. So, I decided to manually put the unit to the test by spraying some air freshener in the adjacent room. It didn’t take long for the particules to spread and for the unit to spin up and go about its magic.
Having pet allergies, I’ve been around several purifiers in my time. They’ve all been pretty good, but the Levoit LV-H133 (it comes with a 2yr warranty) is the best yet. If your room reeks of a nasty odor, manully set the fan to high, close the door and, within the hour, your room will be as fresh as can be.
The air purifier market is crowded. It can be baffling deciding which manufacturer and model to choose from. If you’re reading this review, chances are you’ve budgeted for something as expensive as this unit. If you’ve budgeted for something as expensive as this unit, then know that the Levoit LV-H133 won’t let you down.
Pros: So quiet you won’t know it’s operating most of the time; 360 degree air intake with vertical purified air expulsion (you won’t feel a cold draft blowing on you); easy to clean sensor and removable filter; works fast and efficiently.
Cons: Looks a bit like a bin (albeit a stylish one).
Noise level is very good in most settings. Sleeping mode noise is very quiet. Very easy to use.
It gets rid of the smell of weed from the neighbour very quickly with a high setting for a very short period.
A design with the handles and/or wheels could have made it easier to move it around from room to room less awkward. And a rectangular slimmer shape would make it sit neatly along the wall.
The product is very simple, but works great. Quality is great and the operation is straight forward. When we dusting the selves the sensor even detects the worse air quality!! Well done!

Don’t expect to use tis for cooling; that is not what it is for. It does seem to remove most dust etc from the air; not so good on removing strong cooking aromas.

When the filter light came on after six months of 24/7 use, I opened it up, removed the hepa filter and simply hoovered up all the dust trapped by the pre-filter and it’s ready to go again…… super easy to do for anyone. The instructions tell you to REPLACE the filter when the light comes on but that’s because they want you to buy filters that makes them money. You really don’t need to do that as hoovering it clean, which takes no more than 3 minutes will give the filter a new lease of life. Pop it back in, replace the cover, press the filter light for 3 seconds to reset it and you’re good to go……. repeat the above steps every six or so months when the filter light comes on and you can drastically extend the useful life of the filter.
It’s fairly bulky but needs to be in order to accommodate a very large filter that collects massive amounts of dust and pollutants. Have used smaller, space saving air purifiers but they are far less efficient and don’t collect anywhere near as much dust as this one does.
Overall, a brilliant product that does a fantastic job of keeping the air you breathe clean. It’s suitable for large rooms as well as bedrooms…… JUST REMEMBER TO VACUUM CLEAN THE FILTER INSTEAD OF REPLACING IT WITH AN EXPENSIVE NEW ONE…….. I reckon you can do this 3-4 times before the hepa filter becomes so dirty that it needs replacing, meaning you only need to replace it every 24 months instead of 6.

As soon as I turned this on I was instantly impressed, the cool air that comes out immediately when you put on highest fan is impressive, within a very short time the air in my bedroom felt fresh and cool…i LOVE it! No more muggy bedroom in the summer! And obviously fan can be turned down in winter but honestly I fully recommend.
I’ve used Levoit before for their salt lamps and liked the quality of those, when it came to air purifier I initially went with another brand, very reputable and one of the best on the market, but I wasn’t impressed, it was noisy and inefficient, so I decided to send that back and go with this, and wow! No comparison.
As we suffer with our sinuses badly, thought we’d try it. In a large L shaped lounge dinner beside door to kitchen, works well. Gotten so used to it, that didn’t rush to put it back on a few days ago, when unplugged – only till the nose and head started to throb. It soon remedied them.
Gives a pleasant cooled stream of fresh air.

Bought to help with hay fever suffering. Quite expensive purchase when you are wondering if it will help. I think it does help somewhat but for it to work effectively all doors and windows need to be kept closed and in the recent very hot weather that can be difficult.

Was easy to set up (just take out of the plastic and remove air filter from the plastic bag). Works quitely. We live on a main road, so def need it.
Very impressive effect. This unit is large – about the size on a kitchen pedal bin so be sure you have a good place to locate it. It shifts huge amounts of air on full power. Even in night mode the air flow is impressive with virtually no audible sound at all from the fan. Cleared my large bedroom in a couple of hours. I sleep better, snore less and don’t wake up with a stuffy nose or headache even if the window is open. I note some people report disappointing effects but it is essential to remove the bag enclosing the filter before use. I have also noticed reviews that the auto function doesn’t appear to do anything but mine certainly responds within a minute of using an aerosol in the room and changes speed when I open the window when the pollen count is high. It is recommended that the easily accessible air quality sensor is cleaned periodically for optimum performance. Bit disappointed that it doesn’t have a remote for a unit of this size and cost but the auto function essentially does all the work anyway. Really pleased with the benefits.
My fiance and I got a new puppy and his allergies started acting up immediately. Despite the cost, this air purifier was a last ditch effort to manage the situation. It helped so much. The machine is quiet and changes colours if it needs to clean the air (it will change setting automatically). This feels like the kind of product you never knew you needed until you have it.
Easy to use, great display and colours clearly indicating the quality of the air. Pretty quiet considering the size and job it does. Full fan is a bit noisy but not annoyingly so. Clears the air really quick. It is big but doesnt look as bad as other on the market. Very happy so far with product.

This has made such a difference downstairs already.
We set it to auto so the purifier decides what speed to be at….it changes speed when it detects changes in the air and the light on the top changes colour to indicate what the air quality is.
I had to change the filter after 3 months though but we use it about 1.5 hours every day as he smokes cigars. You can see the amount of smoke it has filtered compared to the new filter. Worth every penny.

I am really pleased with this Levoit air purifier. At first I didn’t know where to put it as it was a bit bigger than I expected. However it’s attractive so it goes right in the middle of the room because I’m so happy with the way it works it has pride of place. I bought it because I suffer from severe hay fever, (even in the house with windows closed) and although the purifier doesn’t register pollen it definitely keeps the air alpine clean. The light indicator registers dramatically when I’m cooking . I still sneeze but I’m not in the terrible state I use to get in prior to its purchase. I keep it between the kitchen and the lounge . It’s the right size for the floor space. I’ve got “a dyson pure cool me” for the bedroom and that’s good because you can direct the fan whereas you can’t with this one.
However this one is definitely more efficient and I thank everyone whose reviews I read, prior to purchase,because it helped me decide which one to get.

Use it on auto all the time, mostly can’t hear it but if the ring goes red with cooking, it sounds like it going to take off

Good for value. The size is enough for my living room and dining room. When we are cooking, the sensor is accurate to be in red. Much efficient.
I love the automatic function on this item as it reacts to the air quality and it does work. When I change my bedding it reacts. Also I was sanding at the bottom of my hallway, the air purifier is in a room at the other end of an L shaped hall and it again reacted. Also if you sleep with the windows closed it sometimes reacts during the night.
This thing is great, noise level is low on night mode and works as expected.

This has been placed in my 3 year old sons bedroom who previous to purchasing was suffering with regular asthma attacks. Since purchasing, my son has not had a single asthma attack.
My one and only gripe, i wish the unit had a child lock to prevent kids from adjusting the touch control settings. Still a 5 star product.

The Levoit deals with it impeccably. Just close the door of the room and run the machine at the highest setting for half an hour and the air will be normal again.
The only downside of this product was the packaging or lack of it. The box was damaged and I nearly rejected the Levoit. An additional external box cover is required.
A word of warning. I have had this product a year now, and it is impossible to order replacement filters through Amazo

Design is great , easy move. I am not sure it is clean dust, but it is definitely clean smell on air . I still happy with my order.
