Certainly looks good quality
I have fitted more pir detectors than I care think of, this one looks very similar to one a well-known retailer used to sell (no longer available) which was IMO the best you could buy both for price and longevity.
I am really hopeful that this pir will be just as good, it certainly looks a decent quality pir, the one thing that must be done when fitting any pir is to completely seal the cable entry with some suitable compound, otherwise water Will get in.

Simple to fi
Replacement for one that broke years ago and hadn’t got round to fix it. Simple to fit and so far works perfectly.
Works well
Fuss free installation. Seems to work very well. The large range of swivel movement means I can angle the sensor to avoid movement/places I don’t want to cover and just trigger the light when/where I want it.

It is NOT IP65 but IP44 and it has Manual Override which is not mentioned in descriptio

Good point- It has Manual Override, unfortunately it is not mentioned in description on amzn but clearly written on the box and on leaflet… and it works– tested and verified.
The way the installation screw points are designed, not very convenient to use.. need to use thin hand screwdriver instead of electric one. The thick magnetic bit holder attached to electric screwdriver does not go into position and upto screwhead.
Great for its price and works well
So had this fitted now for about 4 months so its had a good test. Fitted outside open to all the elements for the past 4 months. and I can honestly say it works fine , for the price you cant go wrong. I have it wired into a led floodlamp and then wired direct to a plug socket in my workshop. We have had some bad weather over the last few months , but it has performed excellent and still going strong now , bargain and works great !

Good piece of kit that lights my way at night.
Installation instructions were good, but there was no explanation for usage controls (lux, time, sensitivity.) I connected it up to a small light in the passage so I wouldn’t have to sleepily fumble for the switch on my frequent trips to the bathroom at night.

Good inexpensive pi
Pretty good and easy to install. Motion detection good and adjustable sensitivity as is daylight sensitivity. Hopefully will last as long as previous detectors. Works OK with LED bulbs which some pir systems do not. IP 44 rating is made clear in info section which effectively means it’s splash proof not waterproof.
Pir out side light sensor.
Replace the last one that was passed its sell by date. Easy to install and operates well.

Does the Job, not totally water tight, 7 meter detec
Does the job as its meant to. I would say though on the install front, the cables enter the unit above the connector block. The thin rubber grommets are not enough to stop water wicking down the cable to the block. I added exterior silicon sealant to the cable entry as I didn’t trust it. Otherwise functions OK. Picks up 7 or 8 meters away.
PROMPT ARRIVAL - POOR FITTING INSTRUCTIONS - NO INPUT WIRING
The product arrived very promptly having been ordered via Amazon but when I came to fit this unit in conjunction with a new security light, I was disappointed with the instructions and had to go on-line for more specific explanation. I was surprise that the product came without any input wiring although possibly the reason is that the distance from the power source is unknown by manufacturers. Seems to be robust. Note that the Guarantee on the box states 3 years whereas I had thought it was 5 years but hey ho.

Trs content de mon achat.

easy to install, just follow symbols on old unit, only issue is that the unit needs time to adjust to auto mode so be patient once installed. happy with it though once ‘it settled down’

Motion detection not particularly good
When I purchased this detector the description stated IP65 (Waterproof) it is not, it IP44 (weatherproof), the warranty also covers itself – place under cover, so pretty much a worthless warranty

The unit is IP44 and not IP65 as stated in parts of the listing. I don’t think it’s going to last on my exposed wall although it has so far but we haven’t had any driving rain yet.
So long as the rain stays out everything else about it works and it’s easy enough to install.
Time will tell but breath not being held.
Check wiring diagram before installing.
It would help if the light came with a detailed diagram.

Utilis en extrieur pour dclencher un clairage de jardin. La qualit perue est bonne. Le montage est simple et le mode d’emploi suffisamment clair bien que trs schmatique. Le rglage de la sensibilit est dlicat. A ce jour je n’ai pas russi viter qu’il ne s’allume n plein jour.
Finalement, j’ai demand un retour Amazon. Super rapide, en moins de 48h j’avais un message de Collissimo qui s’tonnait de ne pas avoir trouv le colis de retour dans ma bote au lettre! Quelques heures aprs, je recevais le nouveau modle. Record battu en ce qui me concerne.
Le nouveau fonctionne, il ne s’allume plus quand il fait jour. Bravo.

Works better than the built-in censor it replaced
Bought to replace faulty built-in censor in existing light, having given up on getting a new light wih a built-in censor that would provide the coverage needed. This Censor was easy to install and set up, to cover everywhere it needs to without turning the light on every time someone walks past on the pavement, note I disconnected all the wires to the faulty built-in censor for fire safety reasons
