Does drain the battery fast but that’s likely due to continuous use over specific use like with drilling.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt is a light weight device – as it it doesn’t weigh much, making it easier to use. The loss of the cord makes it much more versatile, and the small size make it a joy to work with on the few projects I have used it on. I would like to consider the plunge base for it, but I’ll have to save up a bit for that, it is an expensive addition.

j’ai besoins d’outil batterie pour pas mal de travail. Sa puissance est tout a fait convenable, par contre a bouffe les batteries vitesse grand-V.
Pour un travail d’une heure compter 3x6A

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIncredible tool. Small enough to sit on the bench along the wall standing on the battery, and gets used a ton now, not like my older, huge skil router. zip zip zip, all done with the flush trimmer bit. lots of power, sips the batteries. love the LED light. big timesaver.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to replace my 30 year old Makita trimmer. Definitely an upgrade, as nearly all my tools( Makita) are cordless

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo nice not to lug around a cord. Just did 1/4 round on all my trim on the house in a man lift. Seemed to have lots of power for the bit I used. Seems a little top heavy with a 5amp battery but you get use to it. Almost could have a wrist strap when using overhead

Can’t fault this lovely little machine … only used it for cutting out hinges so far but it’s light, easy to use and super quiet. I’m not particularly strong so using a large router has always been a bit daunting, this one is a pleasure to use and I want to do more routing!!

Only downside is is the guide which I find quite irritating to use personally so I use a straight edge to ride against instead, other than that, very useful and the variable speed is great to have when using various router bits.

Brilliant router, used it a good few times now and only thing I can fault is that you have to buy the plunge part on its own if you want it. But all in all great.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersQuality build A1.
In hand it feels robust, not cheap.
    Super easy to use.
Can’t say enough about how it’s great working with a wireless router!
I run this router with 18 volt 3.0 amp battery, no problem.
It does draw the 3.0 amp pretty quick, but you have enough time to charge the second battery while using the first one.
However it’s a better experience to use a 5.0 amp battery.
I highly recommend this MAKITA router for those who wants to work on a small project!

What I like about cordless is you get no cable in your way,no matter how careful you are, cables can get damaged or cut, this router is brill, easy to set up and use.

Really good bit of kit. I also have the Katsu version of this and whilst there are many similarities…this Makita version is far better. I use both as I have one set up for a single task.
Nice quality and so good to have the cordless version.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHaving owned 2 240V palm router before i wanted a cordless one to use for trimming on workshop. I went tor makita 18v router as i had batteries to go with it. Its a great little tool. One would say is a bit top heavy but as long as keep a good grip on it there is no issu with a weight of the battery. I would definitely recommend it. 5/5 stars from me.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI had originally bought the cRyobi cordless router, but after minimal use the motor was making a different sound than when new, and the lack of an available dust shield was a nail in the coffin for me. Also the batteries are just as expensive as the more expensive brands, and I have no interest in owning the rest of their junk, so back it went.

Anyways I bit the bullet and bought this instead, and it’s incredible, at $170 it’s a steal in comparison to the cryobi at $100. VERY solid all-aluminum construction and impressive battery life using 3.0ah batteries (I also bought a drill/driver set for the batteries and charger). The dust shield is included and was a major selling feature for me, and it works incredibly well. I also like that all of the attachments that come with the corded version will fit on this unit. Five stars.
