The M9001 Angle Grinder is part of the Makita MT Series. The MT series from Makita offers a comprehensive list of tools. The M9001 heavy duty Angle Grinder, is powered by a 2,000 watt motor to deliver up to 6,600 rpm for faster grinding.
M9001 has an anti-dust structure, with spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy, shaft lock for easy wheel changes and a wheel cover to protect the user from accidental scattering of broken wheel or workpiece with minimal wheel cover movement.
Large trigger switch for easy operation with machined bevel gears to provide durability and longer service life of the Grinder and rear handle with anti-slip surface for more control. Three position side grip for user convenience and soft grip to provide the user with more control and reduced fatigue.

Bigger and heavier than we thought it would be and you do need to hang onto it and wear PPE as its a bit of a beast. we used for cutting slabs for the garden as they were too thick for our usual grinder. Used with a Silverline masonry disk – that also worked well.
It's a DIY tool.
I liked its weight and power, no so much the very slight oil leak from the gearbox area after it did some really hard work!

Only draw back is it is a little heavy but well up to the job and a great price.
It’s a beas
Bought to laying a block pave base for a greenhouse. There was a drain cover involved so lots of cuts. This with a diamond disc fitted made easy work of that. Could do with a soft start on it as it does jump a bit on start up.

Job done
Having used the normal ‘green) Mikita I was a bit apprehensiveness durability of this.no need.used this to cut out whole patio of slabs laid on a wet bed 2 inches thick no problem at all.spent my working life using grinders for all sorts of jobs and would certainly recommend this one

This is a good quality produc
A little heavy to use but it cut 40 mm building footings with no problem

Die Maschiene ist gut verarbeitet und ergonomisch gut zu hndeln. Ich habe mir die Maschine fr meine Terasse und zum passgerechten Schneiden von groformatigen Porenbeton gekauft. Kurzum das Gert ist relativ leicht und es ist ein Fest mit dem Makita Winkelschleifer zu arbeiten.
