I’ve used this for some lower back pain as well as post exercise. Both cases it has been excellent.
Number of attachments allows different applications as well as different intensity levels.

Seriously, it’s the purchase of the year and I’ve just bought a new kitchen.
It’s super easy to use and although I was VERY sceptical about how effective it could possibly be I was genuinely amazed. The five settings range from an almost “dg-dg-dg-dg-dg” feeling which I tend to skip, all the way to a high vibration, muscle melt setting.
The USB C charging is really nifty too as you can get a fairly quick charge. The different heads all get used too as they each have their own use.

Bought this mainly for my husband, who is a frequent runner, but I have ended up using it myself many times with the odd niggle, with good results.
It has several different style heads for different needs. We mostly use the general ball shaped head, as that generally does the trick, but have found good uses for the other heads when in need of more targeted relief. The 5 different speeds also means you can adjust depending on how sensitive the muscle if feeling, which has been handy where more painful areas benefitted from a slower vibration.
It’s not too heavy or awkward to handle, and so easy to get to the various muscles, and the battery lasts really well, meaning it isn’t always on charge. The case is compact and good quality.

Wish I’d bought one a year ago
I’m due a total knee replacement in the next few months but have been suffering for many months. The constant knee pain causes the calf muscles and hamstrings to tighten and cramp so much I can’t walk. I have been using the massage gun avery day for nearly 2 weeks now the the effect is fantastic. I can walk when I get out of bed and I am spinning and walking 2 to 3 miles again. I use it after every walk or exercise session and the effect is instantaneous. I’m also using it on my feet and hip flexors (quads). It’s helping me get fitter in time for my knee op. Now using on my wife’s feet and back and my son’s shoulder. Fantastic bit of kit.

1st time user of a massage gun and whilst a cynic at first, I certainly recommend one to provide relief from aching muscles. I purchased specifically for glute ache / pain and it provides instant relief. Excellent battery life whilst easy and lightweight to hold, started to use it on other areas of the body notably hamstrings and quads!
Magic new friend
I bought this for my massage practice and am extremely delighted with my choice. It is small,compact and very powerful with great run time and quick to recharge. I use it during treatments to get to tight knots that are hard to loosen up with my hands alone and the clients love it. I also use it on myself regularly and as it is light and compact it is easy to even reach my back , holding it in one hand, with it feeling awkward.

Pondered for ages over this as an avid runner feed up with foam rollers thought I’d try what is essential a cheaper version of some of these on offer!! I can’t tell the difference and I had a full demo of a unit 3x the money great at recovering after a run and even for a warm up pre run, silent, fast charge, looks and feels good nice carry case and the attachments are good.. slight let down I don’t think the battery life as as good as stated but I wouldn’t let that out you of buying this..
It's a Renpho...
I had several Renpho products and they are all top notch, this one is not the exception. Easy to grab (even for my wife’s small hands) and pretty intuitive to use. It comes with a charging USB cabke and a gorgeous case to carry around.

Still not sure of the best way to use this, and the various attachments that come with it, but it is very well made, very powerful, and with long battery life, and does seem to give relief even in my amateur hands.
Excellent item to relieve aching muscles.
You will find that the following day it makes a big difference, your aching will have subsided.
The battery life is excellent as long as you follow the usage instructions and don’t overdo it.
Depending on how you hold the gun for use on yourself or say another family member, after a period of time it does make your arm or wrist ache a little. You have to change hands or position to give you some relief.
All told it is an excellent item.

Was a bit dubious about buying one of these items but have to say I’ve been very pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Really useful tool, great for helping muscles out when you’ve overdone in the gym and would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is a really good buy.It’s easy to use and once you get use to it, it’s proves to be very relaxing. I have a shoulder injury which I find using this massage gun does bring about relief allowing me to move my shoulder without feeling an uncomfortable ache and pain.

Easy to use
This is simple to use, although when using on someone else the amount of pressure to use is difficult to gauge at first.
Once you have the hang of it its fab. My husband finds it really good especially on the backs of his legs and lower back.
The battery lasts ages too.

I read a few reviews before I took the plunge & bought this massage gun. I was thinking if it’s not good enough I’ll end up getting a more expensive one. Honestly, I was blown away by this massage gun. It is like voodoo. Works SO well on sore muscles. I can’t see myself booking a massage for some time. My son & I took it in turns on our backs… we both do a lot of sport… absolute game changer. A must!
A good, value for money optio
The massage gun market is super saturated with both cheap and high cost options. Like a lot of products, there is a steep point of diminishing returns, and this product sits just before the descent into slight improvement for significant cost.
The build quality of the device is OK, we’re talking soft touch materials where it matters and durable plastic elsewhere. The motor is strong and I think few people would want to be pummelled more than than the highest setting allows for.
There is also a great selection of attachments in the box and the carry case is fairly nice.
You are getting a lot for not a lot of money here.
My only critique so far is that the charging port is extremely picky about which charger it will charge with. The included Type A to Type C cable, plugged into 5W or 12W charges fine but plugged into a ‘proper’ Type Charger with a draw of >40W and it won’t charge at all.
Not a deal breaker, but higher wattage chargers for Type C are probably the most common ones people have these days and it can be a pain if you can’t get it to work.
In sum, if you have a USB wall socket and you don’t lose the cable, don’t bother with Theragun or any of the other massage guns pushed by influencers – just get this, stretch frequently, eat your greens and life will be fine.

I ordered this gun because of its excellent online reviews and I’m glad I did. It came on time and has a lovely carrying case to keep it safe. This gun is so light I will be taking it with me when I travel and despite its lightness it doesn’t feel flimsy. I have fibromyalgia and suffer from muscle stiffness and muscle spasms and using a percussion massage gun really helps. I have bad arthritis in my fingers too and if I can manage this gun then most folk should find it user friendly. Its light, packs a punch and is easy to use. Would recommend.

I have been surprised by how often this is used in our house, has been very popular! Sitting down at computer all day and having a blast at points in the day has been a huge benefit to me. I would have liked the handle to have a little more grip but hoods it’s charge well, easy to use and real benefit.
Excellent product and awesome for recovery
I was a little skeptical that all of the attachments were just ‘added extras’ that don’t actually do anything (like a lot of Amazon brands). But most of these actually work and provide different feelings/levels of pressure and can be used in different parts of the body.
The unit itself feels very well made and is easy to hold and use. Battery life could be slightly better but it doesn’t take long to charge. Overall very happy and glad I didn’t spend a fortune on the other brands

Fantastic product with really great build quality. I bought this item as I had an issue with my Achilles. I had been to see a physio and during the session, he used a similar product and recommended that I get one to use at home. I felt a big change in the pain that I was getting after only using this item twice. This is a must-have for anyone that is into training and fitness, also for anyone that may have muscular injuries.
Great massage gun for the price
I couldn’t afford one of the Theraguns as I don’t have 300+ spare, however this item is really good for the price and a very good substitute. It works really well and is easy to hold. Delivers 4 or 5 different pressure / speed settings and has lots of different heads in the case to use. Its definitely worth the money and does a great job on sore/tight muscles. I played netball recently and pulled my calf a little. I used this straight away and the pain was significantly less the day after. So as others have said, if you use it after exercise too, it lessens the recovery time of sore muscles. Would definitely recommend
Wow...just wow ....
…having increased my mileage in prep for the Great North Run my calves had become really hard/ tight and painful. 20 minutes with this massage gun really helped to loosen them and after a couple of days of use the difference was incredible. It was painful using it for the first time due to the knots in my calves but the target massage head really hit the spot…so glad I purchased it when I did as it definitely helped me get ready for race day.
Really works
I bought this for my husband after he tried my son’s and got spectacular results. My husband had a stroke 7yrs ago and really has a problem with his knee when he walks. The massager works brilliantly and enables him to walk properly. At the moment he’s having to use it several times a day but it really doesn’t matter as long as it’s helping him to get around

A Game Changer for Runners
After years of running, I’ve stepped up to ultras in my 65th year. The main issue I have dealt with over the years are those everyday aches and pains it becomes the norm to live with. I have always stretched and added core work to my schedules, but that can be a bit wearing on a daily basis.
I had seen massage guns advertised for a few years, but they were obviously for professional use and had a price to match. Once I saw this model, it looked right, so I bought one. It is strong, well constructed, with all the necessary heads and clear instructions, all in a luxury case. Light enough to take with you and easy to keep neat and tidy.
It is superb and I now use it on a daily basis, after workouts and during the day, if I get a niggle. I have also formed the habit of applying it to my legs before bed, and get up without the usual creaks inherent with ageing. A great gun and highly recommended.
Provides deep penetrative massage relief
I was surprised at how good this machine is it really does penetrative into the body. I got it to help with any stiffness in hips and pain in the glutes and I find it’s great at easing the pain or stiffness. So very impressed.
So easy to use and very effective
I bought this as it had been recommended to my husband. We both use it to relieve tight aching muscles. Its very easy to use yourself, particularly for me as it relieves tight calf muscles and at the moment I have tennis elbow and its excellent for that! Bit more difficult to use on your back/shoulders but it still helps. It comes with 4 attachments for different treatments needs. Well made and good features
Both my wife and I have numerous back, knee and hip problems from over doing it in the garden and from some slips and falls. We use it twice a day. So far, we have only used one of the attachments. It does lessen the pain, although the relief is short. Good product and while expensive, has the feel of quality.
It's the bob and brad massager.
Brilliant machine, at the top of the price brackets but we’ll worth it, it’s the Internet favourite. Bob and brad, ( check out you tube) have this re branded. Very powerful, unless you are an elite athlete, its more than powerful. Deep vibrations and puccussion. Very good build quality, but not too heavy for self massage. Charged by USB C, cable so no carting around a power brick. It’s fairly obvious how to use it, and the various attachments, the air pillow one is good. If you look up the “bob and brad” vids on YouTube, it would be helpful to you.
Quality made massage gun as good as Theragu
Quality made product & a bit more affordable alternative to the Theragun but just as good. Purchased as part of marathon training to keep my legs conditioned. This tool works a treat especially after a long run. Before my legs would become stiff & achy but after using the massage gun I’m able to move freely with very little ache. With the different attachments it covers different parts of the body, the fork down the back & shoulders does wonders. If you’re looking for a massage gun you would go far wrong for choosing the Renpho.
What I had hoped for :)
So chuffed with my purchase. I ummed and ahhed over which massage gun to get – there are so many to choose from! I’d heard of Renpho as my husband has their scales and recommends them, I had my eye on this one and their other full size one which weighs 1kg. I really liked the idea of this one being a ‘mini’ and couldn’t find any others that came close to this size/weight.
I’m glad I pondered for a day as I had it in my basket when I got a notification saying it was on lightning deal down to 84.99 from 99.99. So I ordered it as a birthday treat.
It’s still a substantial size and weight so I’m glad I didn’t go for the bigger ones! The different attachments are great and really make a difference to the type of relief it gives. The battery life is really good and easy to use with one simple button (hold down for 2 secs to turn on/off, quickly press to increase speed). The sturdy case is a nice touch to keep it all together. Not that it matters but it has a nice metallic finish 🙂 solid, sturdy, worth it!
Better than expected
Mostly positives for this massager: Good quality for the money, feels solid and gives good varied strengths of vibration. Can be a little awkward to massage areas by yourself in certain places so greater feeling results when someone else is controlling it but in general a very good strong focussed massager and better than expected. My minor negatives: Battery could have been a bit better. The rubber plastic sleeve for handle keeps moving. Would be better if the changeable components locked in to the unit somehow, having said that they don’t come out easily.
Brilliant product for recovery and long term pai
I’ve seen a few massage guns on the market recently but couldn’t really justify the money. For background – I’ve never actually enjoyed massages – even a gentle one seems to hurt me. I have chronic back pain, but (stupidly) I train for deadlifts and I’m very active in the gym.
After some research, I purchased the Renpho Massage gun around 3 weeks ago with no expectations. I didn’t know whether these massage guns were worth it or not and whether it could help me, but I’m glad to say I’m blown away with how good this device is.
The device itself feels solid, but not too heavy where it could be uncomfortable for long use. It comes along with 5 attachments and a USB charger, all in a hard carry case which makes it brilliant to carry it around. I actually spent a few nights away last week and took it with me, it’s become a part of my recovery routine for the gym and a pain relief method for my long term pain issues that I don’t think I could travel without anymore.
I’ve found the lowest setting to be a really deep massage massage that I use slower and on the more ‘fleshy’ areas, and I use the faster settings around areas closer to the spine. I don’t even know how long the battery lasts because I’ve only had to charge it once or twice in 3 weeks – it’s brilliant.
I would not hesitate to recommend this product. I’ve already let 2 or 3 people use it and they love it too and are after buying one. It’s well worth a try for anyone who is after something to help with soreness and pain relief – It’s the best thing I’ve purchased all year!
Worth the investment!
I bought this product because I suffer with back problems and even before Covid, it was difficult to justify going to a spa for a massage. I wanted to see if I could have a similar experience with a home massage kit. I’m really pleased!
The product comes with different extensions for different types of massage. Joints, muscles, etc and you really can feel a difference depending on what you use – It’s really simple to use, you literally just pull out the massage head type you want and push it in – and the opposite when taking out! No awkward clips or things to press.
It’s easy to use on your own and you can change the strength with its different settings. I’m someone who is used to pain & muscle tension so being able to have a deep massage is important, and you are definitely able to do that! It’s easy to use on different parts of your body, legs, lower back, shoulders, etc I’ve mostly used it on my lower back and I’ve felt so much less tension in the area which is amazing as I have to sit 8 hours a day at work and it can get quite uncomfortable.
The battery life has been good too, I’ve used it a good few times since receiving it and I’ve not needed to recharge yet.
One of the best parts about it (which may seem silly but hear me out) is that it comes in its own portable case and it’s easily storable. I always need things to have a home and the carry case makes that so much easier.
I’d definitely recommend this to anyone wondering how to get a massage as part of their weekly care routine!
The BEST portable massage gu
This product is awesome! It’s so lightweight and portable and would be perfect if you travel a lot and want a massager to relieve pain on the road. The build quality is insane, feels way more expensive than the price! The attachments are easy to put on and use. The ability to change speeds is what I like the most about this product! It means you can get a deeper massage depending on what area of your body you are using. Finally, the carry case is a great touch. Really high quality and perfectly compact for when I need to pack it away!
I bought this tool to support my running, spinning and tennis activities. I wanted something portable that I could put in my tennis/sports bag and this does the trick. I did have another type of massage gun a while back but it was big and heavy. The Renpho comes in a robust case, albeit small, which is good because it does get tossed about in my sports bags.
It is easy to use and has several heads to give relief to different muscle groups. My quads get particularly tight and this gun really helps. If the muscle is really tight I can easily adjust the speed.
I also like to stretch so that my body gets a full range of movement. If I use the gun before I stretch it really works well.

I bought this because my chiropractor has a similar device and I’ve been wanting something similar for my bad back. There are much more expensive options out there but I’ve bought other Renpho products and they seem quite good so thought I’d try this one out as well. The massage gun feels very sturdy and the battery life is very good. It’s a nice touch that it uses USB-C to charge. The massage itself is very good with 5 different speed settings. It’s able to loosen up my neck and back after a workout or just a day sitting in my office chair. Really happy with the purchase!
Mini pocket rocke
After using the adjustable arm massage gun, I decided to purchase the mini gun to carry around with me on my travels. I often cycle long distances and this aids in the recovery after. First impressions is that its small, very small but very well made with a premium feel. It has a nice smooth rubberised grip and a nice weight to it when held. Very simple to use with an on/off button that also adjusts the 5 speeds. The gun is also very quiet, I usually set it to work with the pronged attachment on my thighs and instantly feel relief in my aching muscles. I would highly recommend be it you just want a massage or to aid after a workout.
Great massage
The build quality is very good, and it comes with a nice case. The battery life is extremely impressive – I would have expected something that was vibrating as powerfully as this to need frequent charging, but it doesn’t – it just seems to go on forever.
There are various interchangeable heads for different purposes, and a number of power settings from quite powerful all the way up to extremely powerful. I can imagine you’d have to be quite careful on the highest setting if you were massaging someone else, but if you’re doing yourself you can judge what power setting to use.
I use it on my feet and legs which can be really stiff – it seems to loosen up my muscles and joints nicely, although I think it’s a good idea not to overdo it to much.
Having someone else give me a back, should’ve for neck massage is really nice – feels fantastic!

Powerful and Effective
been looking at buying a handheld massager for some time. We have a set of Renpho Bluetooth scales already, so we’re familiar with the brand.
The massager is a quality product like the scales. It’s reassuringly heavy but not unwieldy in your hand. The massage action really gets into the knots and tightness in your muscles. Yes it’s great post gym and training, but also after all day at your desk, as we all work from home and have tense laptop shoulders.
You could spend double on a handheld massage, but don’t bother this is small, powerful and just as effective. Give it a try.

I purchased the massage gun as I run almost daily and attend HIIT classes and was often getting Delayed onset muscles soreness (DOMS) I have used the R3 Mini Massage gun from Renpho roughly 30mins after trainings and seen a reduction in DOMS and a increase in performances / times due to this.
I use the different attachments as per the body part suggested and a personal favourite is the small bullet shaped instrument, I used this on the base of my feet.
One thing I would change is the button click to scroll through power/speed but that is me being very picky.
It is a brilliant product and I’d definitely recommend if you want to reduce muscle soreness and improve performance.
It is well built, compact and comes with perfect instruments and instructions.
Great Massage Gun From Renpho
It’s a really great product that I never expected to buy. My daughter plays a lot of badminton and mentioned massage guns to me a while back. I’ve used Renpho products before and have always been impressed, so I thought I’d give it a go.
Well, we haven’t looked back. We all use it after exercise, but also I work at a desk all day (and during lockdown, read that as a dining room table), and it’s great for tired shoulders and back. Same for my wife who has an hour commute each way.
It’s all packaged up in a great quality little bag with plenty of room for everything to sit securely in. The battery life is great, probably getting charged every two weeks with moderate use. There are a variety of attachments, but the most commonly used one for us is the ball, which is great for those tired muscles.
Would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody after a quick, easy to use, well adjustable massage gun.
Good quality item
I chose this product on account of its lower than average weight, so that I would not tire too much and use it for longer. I was not disappointed. The product is great, obviously not as strong as bigger versions, but still does a great job. In fact I prefer the lower settings and rarely go beyond 2 (5 settings in total). Was surprised by long battery life. Comes in a nippy case handy for travel. Would totally recommend!
Excellent, quality produc
Excellent, quality product, which comes in a very good carrying case, making it easy to transport. Each attachment has it’s own slot for storage. There are five different massage heads, which are suitable for different areas of the body. It’s not too heavy, which was a key selling point that we were looking for, thus it enables one to use the massager on oneself without causing too much strain. There are five different speeds, therefore all in all it is exactly what we were looking for, and we are very satisfied with our choice, as there are so many on the market..
Get rid of those pains!
I have been exercising for the past few years, running 10ks and also weight training. I have always suffered from leg pains after running, no matter how much or little I train. I was introduced to these massaging machines a while ago and as a result, bought this item.
Now obviously, not everyone will have the same result as me, but I am glad I purchased it. After my runs and weight sessions, I spend a good while massaging the areas used during the workout. I repeat this the next morning. It has made a huge difference. The pain/soreness is greatly reduced and sometimes not even there.
When I turned the unit on, I thought it was a powerful vibration. Then I realised it was only on level 1 and 5 is the highest. The video doesn’t really show the vibration due to the shutter speed of the camera. It certainly has some power behind it! It is also very quiet as well. The battery life is extremely good as well. I’ve been using it for a while and hardly made a dent on battery.
This is great to relax sore muscles and also to give someone a body rub down.
It is charged with a USB C which is the same as my phone. This also means it can plug into car charges and power banks. One less cable to carry!
But talking about carrying, it comes in a very professional and well built carry case. This stores the unit, all of the attachments and also a part for cables and instructions.
This device might seem expensive to some, but the relief if gives to your sore muscles is priceless. I definitely recommend this if you have aches after a workout.
Extremely effective mini massage gu
I initially bought this massage gun as I get really bad muscle fatigue and stiffness after playing football and running and wanted an alternative to a foam roller.
This massage gun was the perfect solution. It is extremely compact and portable as you can see from the photos allowing you to take it wherever you need. It is extremely easy to set up, coming already half charged. It comes with 5 attachments to work different muscle groups, the massage gun itself is very light to hold and operates on 5 different speed settings. I got instant relief from muscle tightness and it also reduce my soreness the day after. I highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from muscle fatigue and stiffness
Very powerful massage
The massager comes with a selection of heads. Each is useful in their own way.
The power is very intense and takes a little bit of getting used to. For that reason we mostly use the slightly damped attachment.
The battery lasts well and charges via a USB-C.
There are 5 power levels and we tend to use the lowest few.
The massager has proven useful post exercise for back and legs. In addition it was useful for relieving very tight forearms from endurance weightlifting.
All in all a good purchase

This massage gun is absolutely brilliant. It’s well packaged and comes in a sturdy, professional looking case. As soon you open the case for the first time it’s obvious how well made this massage gun and it’s attachments really are. This really oozes quality.
I put the gun on charge using the usb cable provided and took the dog for a walk. Came back and it was ready to go.
The five different attachments are easy to fit onto the gun and there are five different settings depending on what intensity works best for you.
This massage gun works a treat on tired or injured muscles. Differently worth every penny, whether you’re an athlete looking for something to help condition your muscles or you’ve got niggling injuries that you need help with. Look no further!!!
Relieve those aching muscles
I’ve been looking at these massage guns for a while. I suffer from bad back / sore muscles – especially the day after a heavy deadlift session. I’ve got a massage chair which doesn’t really help much, so wasn’t expecting too much from this. Well, have to admit, I was completely wrong. This little massage gun is fantastic.
Lots of attachments for various body parts – including one for sensitive body meat relaxation (ooo err)
This is great for working out those kinks in your neck and back, and you can really dig it into the muscle.
Definitely more mobile after using this.
Not much more I can say, apart from treat yourself. You won’t regret this purchase at all!

I purchased the Renpho Mini Massage Gun as my wife has spondylosis and suffers shoulder and neck pain. The first thing that I noticed was the high quality of the massage gun design and the attachments even the case it comes with looks like a much more expensive item for the price I paid. We have been using the massage gun with the ball head, flat head and air cushion head attachments on my wife’s shoulder and it has released the tension, reduced the pain and improved her range of motion that she has in that area. I would recommend this product if anyone suffers with muscle pain, soreness or stiffness in any area.
Very impressed before I even opened the excellent travel case. The unit itself is more solid than I expected and sits nicely in the hand thanks to the silicon grip on the handle. Charging via the enclosed USB-C cable is quick and easy (used a iPad charger). Looks like I’ll only need to charge about once a week with daily use. The blue lights on the rear indicate the speed (1-5) and battery charge level (1-4) as well as indicating progress when charging. I find level 1 is often sufficient and I’m still working through the 5 different heads. I hurt my knee playing tennis recently and this really seems to be helping. The attached video is in SLO-MO – the unit vibrates much quicker than this, but it shows the amazing work the gun is doing on my leg. I cycle 10+ miles every day and play tennis regularly – this is not a flabby leg, so the gun is REALLY working the muscle!
Powerful and effective
I have heard positive things about massage guns through friends, though wasn’t sure myself how effective they would be or whether they were worth the money. My partner has terrible lower back pain, and I’m a frequent runner with the usual knee pain, so with sports therapists being a no-go over lockdown I took the plunge and invested in one of these. I am so glad I did, this thing is amazing! Small enough to hold comfortably, and incredibly powerful, you can really feel it stimulating the entire muscle area. After just 15 mins my partner said it had instantly given him some relief. Aside from using it for pain relief, it is also incredibly relaxing – I can’t get enough of the feeling on my back in the evenings, it actually puts me to sleep. Definitely worth the purchase, 10/10.

Very impressed by the frequency/speed of the head. It’s incredibly powerful. The video shows the slowest speed and yet my camera couldn’t keep up.
Good battery life also. Will definitely save some trips to the physio if used properly.
The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because it would have been nice to receive more guidance in how to use more optimally and some detailed examples. At the moment I’m just kind of guessing and doing trial and error.
Great on upper legs
I used the gun for a few days to complement strengthening exercises for gluteal muscles and upper legs with the ball head, seems to work great so far in relieving stiffness, I’ll try other heads and update the review.
The handle has a good grip and the gun is pretty powerful for its size; build quality looks fine and the gun is not too heavy.
The bag is nice and keeps everything snugly in place; I was happy to see USB-C charging support. The product also includes a USB-A to USB-C cable that I haven’t used, however note that a charger is not included.
Minor nitpicks:
– It is not possible to see the battery charge level without activating the gun; would be nice to see it with a short press of the activation button.
– The battery is not detachable, not a big deal but it would be nice to ease future recycling / repairs.
Great Massage gun that improves the recovery muscles after a high intensity training interval. The construction quality of this kit is really good. I will divide my review in three sections:
Unboxing and first impression
The first look its always important when purchasing a product. I was really please with the case that comes with it. I can take the massage gun anywhere and it will be well protected with all the accessories.
When I picked up the gun, it has a solid built. Really well designed and it has a nice material in the handle that makes it nice to hold while using it. It has an USB C cable to charge the massage gun. The battery last quite a lot despite using the massage gun heavily and you can see the battery level in the back of the handle.
It feels sturdy and weight over 700 grams. So, it is not light but it is not heavy so that it can be handle comfortably.
The accessories are useful. In my case have more than I need. But I like that if I buy a product that has different options. I may need another accessory later on.
Quality while using the massage gun
To switch it on, you need to keep it pressed for 2 or 3 seconds and it will go to the first strength level. And it is very easy to speed it up by using a short press of the power button. I have used mainly the hammer head and the ball head accessory for my calves after doing exercise. You can actually feel how good it does to the muscles and promotes recovery of muscle fatigue! The U shape accessory was good for my neck but in my case, was more useful using the hammer head around the shoulder and getting closer to the neck. And after a whole day standing up, my lower back really feels much better after using the ball head.
You can feel that it is powerful, because even in the low speed mode, the massage gun has a firm pressure when using it. I suppose that depends on your preferences, but I didn’t have to put much pressure to feel the benefits of a low speed mode.
In conclusion:
Pros
– Fantastic battery life.
– Really nice material in the handle.
– Plenty of accessories that use quality materials.
– Nice carry bag to take it anywhere. Even to the gym, so that you can use it after.
Cons
– If you want to reach your back or the back of the shoulder, it’s a bit more complicated. In my case, I am not that flexible so I ask my wife to help. If that’s an issue, you may prefer the Renpho with adjustable arm.
Not the first time that I purchase a Renpho product. It is a top-quality brand with really well-built materials. It will not be the last.

This massage gun has created a bit of an argument at home: whether my wife or I get to use it. The other one needs to help as it is rather obvious that one can’t reach certain places, such as massaging the back, so it’s pretty much a team sport.
My initial impression was the massage gun is pretty heavy. The weight was unexpected on the first touch and use. It is understandable, as it needs to house the motor and battery to power the device. It is very solidly built, albeit I wouldn’t drop it to see whether it would survive the impact. The manual certainly warns against this.
The five attachments work wonderfully. My favourite is by far the air cushion head as it is a fairly low impact attachment. It is a sight for sore muscles. The solid attachments work well when used as described. However, I have found them rather unpleasant when hitting something like a bone. It is best to stick around the designated areas. Weirdly enough, the vibrations are better felt when operating on the level 1 setting rather than cranking up the power up to level 4. This is rather counter-intuitive.
The motor is powerful. The manual specifically warns against a few ways this device must not be used. The head is one of those areas and I believe it would certainly lead to a headache rather than relaxation considering the strong vibrations. One of the consequences of the powerful vibrations is that the person holding the massage gun may find themselves getting pretty tired after a while, despite the beneficiary complaining that they want more. It is definitely a build-up process as initially, I could not hold it for more than a minute, a minute and a half before my arm would be tired from the vibrations. The handle is not to blame as it has a silicone cover which is very nice to the touch and it provides a good grip. This is strictly down to the massage gun operating.
Rumours (read: manual) say not to use this before sleep as it has a stimulating effect. While I have found that to be true, on the stimulation side, my wife slept like a log. I did not have any issues either. I’m guessing the endorphins release pretty much negated any stimulation.
The massage gun is charged via a USB C port at the bottom of the handle. There’s a charging cable included, but no charger. This shouldn’t be an issue for most as I believe everybody and their dog has a USB charger these days. It should take around 3 hours to charge, but that depends on the power source. The bonus of USB C is that I could easily pack it in the bag and use my phone charger and cable.
One of the brilliant touches is the included carrying case. I always hate when accessories are getting misplaced, so this case makes sure that everything can be kept tidy and in one place.
This massage massage gun is SO good!
I’ve had this massage gun a full week now and I’ve found that it’s extremely beneficial for releasing muscle tension – both every day tension and post exercise. It’s sturdy and doesn’t require a ton of pressure to bring release to the muscles. The variety of massager heads and speed variations is amazing.
My previous experience with a massage gun was a VERY expensive alternative brand, but I am very happy that I chose this massage gun instead – and saved a lot of money in the process. I used to visit a chiropractor regularly for adjustments. I haven’t been to the chiropractor in a number of months, but the release this gun has brought to my back and neck in particular has been life changing – releasing tension and pain in my upper torso.
This gun is very well made, is very easy to charge (cable provided that attaches to any USB cable plug), and very easy to use. It arrived in a brilliant hard-sided carry case, so I’m able to take it with me when I travel. The quality is excellent for the price point and I’m very impressed with the efficiency of this hand held massage gun. Well done RENPHO on another amazing product!
Powerful massagers with plenty of options
Surprisingly powerful and easy to use to help massage out those aches and pains.
Opening the box i found it comes in a really useful case to keep all the parts and charges with the supplied usb c cable (just plug it into your standard charger).
We tried out the variety of heads although quickly identified that you want to keep it on the low setting unless you want a really deep massage.
Perhaps it would be of help to receive a link to a video showing the different ways to use the device. But we’re finding that we’re using it more frequently so it’s definitely working for us.
Compact and powerful
I’ve tried out many electric massage tools and this is by far my favourite! For such a small device it’s power is amazing and has no problem when pressed deep into large muscles where some other devices have stalled.
I’m also impressed with the presentation of this massager it came in a neat storage box and the materials used for the body of the tool give it a premium feel.
The battery certainly has a premium feel as well because I have yet to have it run out on me half way through a massage like with my old massager. The battery indicator and USB C charger are a great touch.

Great Product, well built.
Blown away with the build quality of this model, it feels so good in your hands with the softer handle. The carry case it comes with keeps everything all together nicely and keeps it neat and tidy.
The different settings for strength is great to ease yourself into it giving you a very deep massage when needed. All of the different heads is great as well, meaning you can give different pressure for different areas of your body.
The battery lasts a good time as well, im yet to have to charge it and have been using it daily for the last week.
Overall for the cost im very pleased with this product and would recommend it. I’ve got some Scale by the same manufacturer and they are still going strong some years later.
Absolutely fantastic Massage Gu
I was asked to review the Renpho Massage Gun by Renpho, but in no way, is this review biased. I am really really impressed with the quality of the unit itself, it comes in a lovely sturdy fabric case which is 10.5″ by 8″, small enough to travel with. Inside the case, each of the heads has its own little pocket to sit in, and the manual and charging lead are on the other side of the case under some netting. As well as the Renpho Mini Massage Gun, you get 5 massager heads, a type C charging cable, user manual, warranty card and 2 rubber sleeves. I wondered what were the rubber sleeves for, but then realised that they are spare pieces in case you lose one from one of the 5 heads, see picture, the red arrows show where the sleeves sit. So to the use, there are 5 different levels, 1 is quite gentle, but 5 is seriously pummelling you – as good as any masseur would do. I went for a 6 mile run today and my quads were aching a bit, 10 minutes using the gun and no more aches. However, what I am really impressed with is the Air Cushion head. I suffer from arthritis, and I should massage my fingers daily to keep them supple, but it just takes so long to do that, so I thought well here goes. I put the air cushion head on the gun as this head is for sensitive areas, and massaged my finger joints – wow! Even after a few minutes I could feel that I’ve got more mobility in my fingers, and I can see if I do a regular daily massage, it will help tremendously with my arthritis. So all in all, I am extremely impressed, this massage gun is definitely worth getting and I’ll be encouraging my running friends that they should get one as well – definitely stop any injuries and will save a fortune not having to keep going to a masseur.
My first try of this massage gun was right after a long 45 minute run, which always leaves my legs feeling like jelly for the next day atleast. However, after spending 10 minutes massaging my thighes and calves with this product I already feel a huge reduction in the soreness. The product feels a lot better quality and long lasting than other massage guns I have used in the past. I like the range of attachments available which come in handy for targeting different muscle groups on the body. I am also impressed by the wide range of speed settings which can be changed with one click of the thumb. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a massage gun to help with recovery.
Small, lightweight, effective - Does the job!
Heard many recommendations to try a massage gun so opted for this choice. When it arrived it’s in a nice well pack case ideal to be able to be packed into a travel bag if your sporting event is away from home/abroad. The different heads are great. Still experimenting which is best as although your told which head is for what some are more manageable than others. If your worried about a pain factor then I’d say it’s nothing less or more than a foam roller can be, except you can control the soreness/muscle site better.
Only negative I’ve found is that ileven though it’s small and lightweight to move around its abit tricky to get to hard to reach areas where other massage guns off a angled head.. however if someone’s around for 5-10mins to help then problem solved.
All in all would definitely recommend this product as does what I need it for.
Honestly I was dubious about a massage gun being anywhere close to the real thing but I was pleasantly surprised. My partner has constant back ache after the birth of our twins and I get general aches from weights and running. We did have a mobile masseuse before the Covid lockdown so in the absence of this thought why not to doing it ourselves. I cannot fault the gun at all, charges off of a Type C cable, has a series of attachments ranging from a ball to a torture tool spear tip It also comes in a tidy case. There are 5 speeds and with the range of attachments can get to anywhere on the body and inflict all the enjoyable pain a real sports massage can bring. This gun is strong, I was shocked to feel just how much it had in it. I absolutely recommend this for anyone who is interested in doing self massage or giving someone one a lazy one
This massage gun is really easy to use, relatively quiet and fits together in a small carry bag. It comes with 5 different detachable heads for different muscle areas and has 5 different speed settings (see video). My legs were aching from an intense workout so I used the gun on only my left leg to see what difference it made. Instantly the muscles felt less tight as if I hadn’t exercised. The next morning, however, is when I could really notice the difference, my right leg felt fatigued even whilst putting my shoes on and especially when I exercised again, whereas my leg felt loose. I would definitely recommend this product, not only is it compact for travel if you needed but it provides instant relief from sore muscles. I exercise daily and often have to push through soreness, now I have this device I feel optimistic that I can push even harder through my workouts
I was pleased to receive the RENPHO massage gun. Arriving well packaged, the “gun” is stored in a smart case, where every item has a space for neat and effective storage. Initially I thought the gun felt heavy, but when using it I concluded the weight added sturdiness and a sense of quality. I am currently in week five following an accident that left me with a proximal fracture of the humeral head. I realise that currently it would be inappropriate to use the gun on my shoulder, however, already it has relieved tense back of the neck muscles. I am confident that following physio, In the coming months, the gun will help relieve the inevitable post physio exercise aches & pains. I was taken aback with the power of the device – even at level one the percussion is impressive. This gun works a treat! Charging, via the usb cable provided and a plug I already owned was straightforward and full charging is indicated by static blue lights. The kit looks good – aesthetically pleasing! The feel of the handle is good too – a rubberised feel ensures slip free use. The instruction booklet is simple and straightforward and once I popped on my glasses I could read the small print, This is the third RENPHO product I have bought and with the purchase of the gun, I remain impressed by the quality and practical uses of the products RENPHO produce. I wholeheartedly recommend the massage gun to rid oneself of muscle aches and tension.
I bought this massage gun after deliberating for a long time and could not be happier with my purchase. As a frequent cyclist I often suffer from a bad lower back and tight calves and ITB bands. I’ve only had the product for a day and used it after a long cycle, but it feels like I’ve been though a professional massage and my back and legs feel much less sore and fatigued. Looking forward to using this on a daily basis, both pre and post ride.
As a plus, it is very light and portable and much quieter than I was expecting, meaning you can still watch TV without annoying your spouse whilst using it!
