Important Tips and Feature
- When connecting the handpiece, please align with the ” ↓ ” of the handpiece connector and the ” ↓ ” of the handpiece jack correctly, please pay attention the 3 spongs are not the same. Otherwise, the handpiece will not rotate although the lights on! Meanwhile, please make sure the handpiece must be locked before you turn the machine one, otherwise the light will on but no spinning and this will damage the machine!
- If you find the digital display jumps between 4 and 5, this is normal and this design is to protect the machine.
- Please don’t use the nail drill when charging which will help to keep a lasting battery life.
- When you change the rotation direction, please wait for more than ten seconds and this will more protect the machine and lasting a lone life for the rotation function.
- Please use the 3/32 Inch drill bits, otherwise it will get stuck in the handle piece. Meanwhile, please insert the nail drill bit a little deeper in order to reduce some noise of friction and vibration.
- When you change the rotation direction, please wait for more than ten seconds and this will more protect the machine and lasting a lone life for the rotation function.
- Please do not open the lock of nail drill handle piece while it’s working, otherwise it will burn the machine.
- Please do not drop the handle piece, otherwise it will easily cause damage to internal parts and make much noise.
- Please pay attention to whether the tail is loose after for a while use, if any, please tighten it. (This design is for us to check faults.) Or pinch the connecting cable to be tighter to see if there is any improvement.
- Please use the original adapter and hand piece, otherwise it may damage the nail drill machine.

Love this nail drill
I was stumped on what efile to buy, I bought this one as it’s a name I’ve heard of and I wasnt disappointed. I love that it’s rechargeable and I can use it without being attached to any wires. It’s easy to use and I love that it’s white and clean. The vibration is minimal and it’s very quiet.
I was recommended this drill and glad I got it. Only downside is it is designed to go on your waist? If I did that then I wouldn’t know the digital read out number, when I place it on the side (where I could see it) I knocked it over a couple of times so I now have a box that I clip it onto which faces me so problem fixed!

This is a great drill, the battery will last a long time and easy to use. I have found the cable became damaged from prolonged use. However the seller was happy to replace in a timely mannor.
Prefer my electric nail drill
I’ve only used this drill once but, as the on/off and speed is together, I found every time I want to change the drill bit I have to twist the knob completely off unlike my elecitric drill where there is a separate on/off switch. Just a bit more fiddly.
I can’t say enough good things about this nail drill! Seriously, it’s made my DIY manicures so much easier. It’s powerful but doesn’t sound like a jackhammer, which is a huge plus for me. Love that I can adjust the speed based on what I’m doing. Plus, it’s comfy to hold, so no hand cramps here! If you’re thinking about stepping up your nail game at home, this is definitely worth checking out.
happy with purchase
I bought this in August and it stopped working in November. i was contacted by the seller and everything was sorted out. the item itself was good until it stopped working. I bought another with my refund so hopefully this one lasts.
Good drill
Bought this in November and I do like it a lot! Although.. I haven’t used it continuously, just every now and again and the hand piece is sounding like it’s jamming unless I turn it up to full speed. I emailed the company but not heard anything back so fingers crossed it can be resolved through Amazon. I’m starting work in a salon soon and I know other nail technicians who use this nail drill and love it so fingers crossed I can send mine back to get sorted.

Im loving this upgrade from my melodysuzie scarlet, i was dubious about having a rechargeable rather than wired but ive used multiple times a day for 10 days before needing to charge. Its powerful yet light weight and quiet. I would recommend!

Very effective and easy to use
I bought a cheaper nail drill for my daughter initially but it wasn’t great. This drill is easy to hold and use and very effective, so my daughter tells me. I am pleased as she is more inclined to do my toe nails in lovely different designs now it’s much easier and quicker to get the old gel off. Definitely recommend.

First time user.....
Found it great. I’ve never used an electric file/drill. I’m using removal of gel and gel polish, mainly for personal use…..Family and friends. Saved time on soak off and leaves the nails ready for reapplication. The ‘wand’ is light and easy to hold. Looking forward to using it going forward!!
Faulty cable on hand piece
I have ordered several of these units and every time the same problem occurs on the cable to the hand piece.
It’s such a shame as otherwise I do not have a problem with the drill and it performs well.

I’m a professional nail tech and I recently bought this after my original nail drill broke, and this one is amazing! There’s very very little to no vibration and easy to put drill bits in and out! I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a high quality nail drill but don’t want to break the bank!
Great little e-file
This is a great little e-file,works really well and does the job.So glad I purchased it.
This is the 3rd one if these e-files I’ve purchased from melody susie. The first worked for a few months then stopped working, it would work intermittently and cut out depending the angle I held the handset. I contacted melody susie customer service and was sent a new hand piece which worked fine for just over a year then the same problem started to happen, the drill would cut out and work intermittently. It was out of warranty by this point so I purchased a new e-file.
I couldn’t afford a more expensive brand e-file so had no choice but to buy this one again and I was glad I did.
When the new one arrived I could tell improvements had been made to the e-file since I first purchased this model. It felt more sturdy and better built, the screen now shows if it’s in reverse or forwards, the hand piece feels more heavy duty and also better built, less flimsy it has a good weight to it which the older one didn’t have. As soon as I turned it on it just feels different, different in a good way. Melody susie have obviously read the reviews and worked to make the Scamander drill a much better quality e-file. I’m confident this hand piece won’t break like the other 2 and will last a lot longe

Best E-drill EVER!
This is by far the best thing I’ve ever bought for my nails. I’m self taught and always interested in learning new things about nails. I like to practice on my own and mothers nails and this E-drill is AMAZING! So light, powerful and sturdy! It’s a bit pricey if your starting out but it’s worth it! I would 100% recommend this!

The one I had before this were the cheap 15-20 ones and I could immediately tell the difference. However the first time I used it, it started off really quiet but since then it’s gotten louder and I’m not sure why

Excellent little e file
This is my first professional e file and my trainer and colleagues both think it’s the business for the price! Very affordable. It doesn’t leave that buzzing sensation in my hand afterwards like some other cheaper types of e-file, and the charge holds brilliantly. I would recommend purchasing some alternative bits to use with it, the pieces that come with it are a nice touch but not very efficient, I ordered some other melody Susie bits to go with it and they have stayed sharp and are easy to use!

I’m a mobile nail technician and this so easy to fit into my kit. It is a really good nail drill. I would reckoned buying some ceramic bits as this comes with diamond ones which aren’t effective on enhancements

I brought this to replace my cheap beginners E-File and I am blown away with it. It’s easy to use from the get go, lightweight and easy to change the bits. The torque is very good, which is very very important with these files. Overall I am really pleased!

Not a bad machine for the money,
Always use a Kupa nail drill but it broke , so I had to buy a temporary drill.
Would recommend if you don’t want to spend hundreds on a nail drill.
Excellent after sales service
I have bought two of these, the last one I bought only lasted 3 months when the connection became intermittent. I contacted MelodySusie after sales and was contacted by Johnny. I sent a video of drill mal functioning and was then sent a brand new drill within days. Appreciate the support offered, not the usual running for hills and ignoring you. Works good.
Works good, only downside is occasionally the rpms don’t stay where you want them. For example I put it on 8,000 rpms and it goes up to 9,000 and back down again without me touching it.
Fantastic E File at a great price
Minimal vibration, super quiet, starts at 3rpm and tops out at 30krpm. I do my own nails and I find it tipster easy to use. Haven’t had to charge it so far and I’ve used it 4 times for full sets
Great nail drill, great price!
I am a mobile nail technicians and ordered this nail drill as a back up while my other one, (which is a professional and much more expensive nail drill is getting a serviced).
And I have to say it is a good nail drill it does the job, obviously it is not as good as my other one but, if you can’t afford a more expensive brand and just staring out, I highly recommend it! I has low vibration, not too lound and battery is good too. It is easy to use and looks great and professional.

Portable, feels expensive and just brillia
A bit dust in the screen.
I bought it 7 or 8 months ago and I’m very happy with it. Works perfectly, and the battery has no issues so far; it charges -completely-, from two bars to full charge like in an hour or so. And it feels like it lasts forever!!
One thing I miss and I wish it had it is a base to hold it on in the table while I work, KiaraSky has practically the same rechargeable and it comes with a stand (more expensive one tho)
I recommend you guys to read the instructions (with anything you ever buy) before using the drill. It has very important information, specially if you really care about your materials.
The only thing that bothers me -a bit- is that some dust has entered the screen where the rpm is showed. But is only a tiny little amount of dust from filing. I use it almost everyday as I’m a Nail Technician (mobile), so I think that’s understandable. You know how much dust comes from filing.
Anyway I think that shouldn’t happen that’s why I only give it 3 stars.
Superb Customer Service
The drill itself is very well made and easy to use. Even better is the customer service if something goes wrong!! I purchased a MS drill two months ago, it worked well to start with but then started cutting out due to a faulty lead. I emailed MS and after sending them details of my original purchase and uploading a video to show the issue, a replacement unit was sent. Outstanding!!
