I purchased this over six months ago…I needed time to see how it worked. I’m pleased with it. I don’t have a large household but I appreciate the convenience of a tumble dryer. This one works well. It drys at lower temperatures ( which I prefer), so shrinkage is limited, if at all. Cost-wise, it’s proved a good buy. I haven’t noticed a massive dent in costs when it’s in use. It’s not too loud. It’s located in a room in which I often do online meetings, and it hasn’t proved to be a problem. The 369 I paid feels like a good price for the quality.

Sent back Hoover Heat Pump Dryer (Not Amazon). My wife hated it from the start. Wanted her old vented back.

Read up on this company and it seems another “break out” company from China making stuff for others and using its own brand name.

Wife really happy with it. Enough said

Excellent machine , costs so much less to run than my previous condenser machine that was under five years old , this was the cheapest one I could find with no charge for delivery , bought now with a view to only using it in the winter months , it does take longer to dry things but that’s a small draw back when it’s so much cheaper to run , like 1/4 of the price of a condenser dryer .

With the high price of electricity we decided to take the plunge and replace our old dryer with this. Have started using it and found it doing the job very well as long as you separate the different fabrics and do them separately so they dry evenly. Otherwise the smalls mixed in with a beach towel may be dry but the towel will still be very damp. Noise level no higher than other tumble dryers with the occasional purring sound you get from a fridge. Would recommend.

The Midea MDG09EH80 heat pump tumble dryer is a high-capacity and economical dryer that provides an efficient and effective drying solution for large households. With its 8kg capacity, this dryer is ideal for families with heavy washing loads, and the heat pump technology ensures that clothes are dried quickly and efficiently, while also reducing energy consumption.

One of the standout features of this dryer is its economy, as it boasts an impressive energy efficiency rating of A++. This means that it is incredibly cost-effective to run, making it an excellent choice for households looking to save money on their energy bills while still enjoying the benefits of a high-quality dryer.

The large capacity of the Midea MDG09EH80 is also a significant plus point, as it means that you can dry more clothes in a single load, saving time and effort in the long run. The dryer is also equipped with a range of convenient features, including a delay start function, a digital display, and a variety of drying programs to suit different types of clothing and fabrics.

However, there are a couple of downsides to this dryer. Firstly, the user manual provided with the product is quite brief and doesn’t provide much detailed information on how to use the various features and functions of the dryer. This can make it difficult for users to get the most out of the product straight out of the box.

Additionally the operating panel of the dryer tends to be a bit cluttered and confusing, with buttons, rotary selection knob and symbols that are not immediately clear. This can make it tricky to navigate through the different settings and programs, and some users may initially find it frustrating to use as a result.

Overall, the Midea MDG09EH80 heat pump tumble dryer is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a large-capacity, energy-efficient dryer. While the brevity of the user manual and the cluttered operating panel may be downsides, they are relatively minor issues when compared to the many benefits that this dryer offers.

This dryer was excellent value, typical load uses 1kw and i use overnight so maximum cost per load is about 25 pence at the moment. Water dispenser is easy to empty, cleaning fluff is easy also on opening door internal light displays inside of drum.Start delay function is a good function to use on economy 7 so come on during off peak would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve never owned a Tumble Dryer before. I always put off buying one, as so many people told me that they were very expensive to run.

Unfortunately, I’m disabled, and just can’t cope with Winter weather, so trying to put my washing on the line isk a no-no in our wet and windy winters – and my 300 year old, stone-built cottage was getting bad damp and mould problems every Winter, with me using my radiators to try and dry my laundry.

I finally gave in, and started looking for a Tumble Dryer, as I couldn’t face the expense of another winter, trying to keep ahead of the damp and mould.

I researched Tumble Dryers, and asked everyone I know about which type of dryer I should purchase, as my walls are 3ft thick, so I couldn’t put the hose through them, and I felt having a window open, in winter, would be crazy, so that meant normal dryers were out of the running.

I asked around, to see what people thought of compresser dryers, where the hose goes in a box, which is then emptied, but I was told tale after tale, of the horrors of coping with them – I was told that it took forever to dry the washing – which was still never totally dry – which, with the energy costs we’re having to deal with now, took this out, of the running, too.

So, what was left to me, were Heat Pump Dryers. These are much more expensive to buy, but I started looking around for one and, after a lot of research, and looking at the smallest details of hundreds of them, I eventually settled on this particular Brand.

It’s apparently a good Brand, and the machine itself wasn’t half as expensive as many I’d been looking at but, what clinched it for me, was Amazon offering me interest free payment terms.

So I looked into it further, then clicked to buy it.

The Tumble Dryer was delivered quicker than I’d expected, and it was over a week after getting it, before it was unwrapped, and I started to look at all the instructions of use.

Fortunately for me, it seemed straightforward, and so I did a load of washing, then set it up for my first Drying cycle.

This was really easy, and I was impressed, not only with how well it dried my washing – which was towels and bedding – but with how easy it was for me to empty out the tank afterwards – which was a doddle, even with my bad hands!

I also found cleaning out the filter after use to be a really simple process, and I’ve found the whole experience easy, enjoyable and, something really important for me nowadays, quite cheap!

My next lot of laundry, I checked with my Smart Meter and, doing 2 loads of washing, and 3 loads of drying, from 3.30pm, to 10pm (I’ve found a more economical – in both time, and money -choice to dry since then) only cost me 1.26, in electricity, to run.

Admittedly, that was before the October 1st huge raise in prices, but I worked it out under my new tariff, and the same 2 washes, and 3, more economical, drying cycles, would still cost me under 4 – & that’s with all the other electrical items that I have on in the house, within that cost!

For me, this has been a super buy, as the dryer is easy to use, is keeping my house free from damp (with each load I dry, I’ve been measuring the water I empty from the tank) there is always at least 1 litre of water emptied out of it), which means it’s also saving me the money it always cost me in dealing with the damp and mould every winter. I can also run my heating on a lower temperature, with the radiators free of washing, which is also a saving in electricity, plus my very expensive heating oil!

But, more than anything else, I can now do my washing, and have it all clean, wonderfully soft and dry, and put away, within hours, as opposed to the 2-3 days that doing washing, then trying to dry it, used to take me.

As far as I’m concerned, that’s worth every penny that this great Heat Pump Tumble Dryer has cost me to buy, and run it!

Oh, by the way, it also comes under warranty, which is grea

Need to have attention to empty the tank for water every single use and clean filter after single use. But are excellent to for drying in about 1 hours sometimes required for 2 hours if you put towels.

But normally clothing needs 1H max 1:30 H.

Little noise but I think is normally for a dryer

All to know is great to use

Good overall performance. Nice design and very practical features, esp the light inside the dryer. Little bit louder than the fridge but lesser than the traditional dryer. No issues with the dryer functionality. Also like the double air filter.

We make heavy use of a tumble dryer, which with our old dryer was getting to be quite expensive. This one dries the same amount of clothes in less time with vastly less energy, with the only drawback being the noise during operation – it’s basically like a loud fridge when the compressor is running. It’s not offensive or any louder than a normal tumble dryer, it’s just a bit more of an annoying noise, but using 1 instead of 5 or 6 KWH per load this is saving us a fortune. The sensor drying works fine although I’d recommend dialling up the intensity setting just to get things really dry, but it will quite happily get a load of washing dry a good hour faster than our old machine. The multi-layer lint filter also does a much better job of catching fluff, making it much less likely to be a fire risk. We’ve probably done around fifty loads with it so far, no problems whatsoever.

I am very pleased with this clothes dryer, the best one I have had so far, I like the most that you can turn on a program that eliminates creases.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat can I say but brilliant? The machine was delivered very efficiently by the drivers and I was able to easily track delivery. All packaging taken away was paid for, of course, 3.00 was not much to pay. I also paid 12 to have my old machine uplifted, excellent value compared to some other companies. I decided to move away from the old condenser machine, it was 9 years old and making a lot of noise. I was definitely hoping for a money-saving machine as promised by these heat pump models. I have not been disappointed.
I did 3 lots of clothing in the one day for less than a pound. I was ecstatic. Towels 32p, baker’s whites 35p, and a mixed load 28p. As I am disabled the tumble dryer is somewhat of a necessity. I honestly do not mind putting the tumble dryer on now. Also, the machine looks good and the price I paid was excellent for a heat pump dryer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this dryer. I’d never heard of the company before but I did read a bit about them, they are the biggest appliance maker in the world.
You’ve sometimes just got to take a chance on a new name, I’m so glad I did. Not to put anyone off, they sponsor Manchester City. I only mention that in case like me you had never heard of them before. Just try it, you won’t be disappointed.

    Great money saving machine

Never had a tumble dryer before, but thought about getting one. We recently started potty training to my 3 years old. Every day I have to change his trousers several times. There are never enough trousers for him. In the meantime, the condensation literally damaged the walls of the room where we normally dry clothes. Some parts of the wall have become moldy. Although we’ve got a dehumidifier in the house, it is not enough when we dry clothes indoors in the winter.

We already have a Midea washing machine and really like it. And thought that it would be great if we also get a Midea dryer. Here we found this heat pump one.

It was delivered quickly and the delivery men Terry and Val were really nice and helpful. Our front door was too small for the package. They unpacked the machine for us in front of our house and brought it all the way to our first floor.

It is easy to operate. What I really like about this dryer is just to plug it into the power socket and I can start using it.No a drain hose or pipe is needed. We have to put it in a corner of our living room for the time being while we are renovating our garage and kitchen. There are 16 options to choose from for each cycle. There are 2 functions that come in handy: one is My Cycle, meaning I can preset my preferred cycles and save them. Another function is Child Lock. When you have a 3-year-old in the house, you never know what he may do even when you just turn your back for 1 minute.

In general, this is a good tumble dryer and energy efficient. Very useful for families with younger kids. Highly recommended. Summer is coming, but I really look forward to using the dryer a lot more on those rainy days in the UK, esp in winter.

A great tumble dryer for family use

Changed to this type after years of noisy tumble dryers. You forget it’s on. Just remember to empty the water container regularly

It is very good so far, time needed depends on how much clothes you put, but much better and efficient than the normal tumble dryer I had, it is a bit noisy which is normal with any drye
