This budget range finder works well, but can be a little more difficult to use when there are trees behind a green. I was totally unable to get a true yardage with scaffolding behind the green on a building site.
That said, this is very simple to use under the majority of conditions, and helps tremendously when selecting a club.

Fantastic product. Used a handful of times already and hasn’t let me down. Easy to use, and very accurate compared with more expensive range finders. I use it on the golf course. Great in most weather conditions apart from heavy rain. Laser struggles to pick up target at long distances
Does what it is intended to do. It is not the most intuitive but ok to operate. Nicely placed in a good case, light and well made.
Was not sure about getting something like this as i had used a GPS watch before. so easy to use the slop feature is a god send, as good as the one my friend spent an extra 80.00 on.

This range finder is great value for money.
Sometimes it is a little tricky to pick up the flag and sometimes gives a few “off” readings.
This can usually be rectified by taking a few readings each time.
I brought this because I didn’t want to spend 300 on a premium brand. I golf with friends who use bushnell premium range finders and I had to directly compare.
Yardage was reading was the same! Or a yard off but who plays golf down to 1 yard anyway!!!

The biggest difference between this item and the top brands is it take 4-5 seconds longer to lock into the target.

For the price this is a great range finder, zapping flags within a couple of seconds and was always within a yard on anything under 200 yards.
I don’t know anyone that realistically needs anything more accurate than that.
Feels better made than I was expecting and comes with a decent case. Some people note the vision is blurry, there is an adjustable eye piece to correct that.
The only one thing to note is the inability to turn slope off, but this is noted in the product description so you should know this if you buy it anyway.

Compared to my friends 400+ range finder I’m pretty impressed its usually a few yards different but always there or there abouts and as I’m never going to be a player that can hit exactly 187 yds so I don’t mind. It’s within about 3-4yds different so who knows this could be right and my friends wrong but so far so good

brilliant product. it is as advertised i use it for golf and it’s class. massive game changer.
Only downside in use is that there is too little eye relief on the eyepiece, I found I had to place my index finger on the top edge of the eyepiece and rest it against my eyebrow to gives the clearest view, in this respect it could perhaps favour spectacle wearers.
For the money I’d class it as good value if you can accept the caviats.
The golf rangefinder arrived today an I took a trip up to my local golf course to try it out. Firstly it’s slightly smaller than I expected but that does mean I could probably carry it in my pocket rather than the supplied case. Tried it out from a position where I could see 3 flags at different distances, measured at close to 80yds, just over 350yds and just over 500yds, in all cases it locked onto the flags in under 5 seconds even though I don’t have the steadiest of hands, I think 6x magnification is perhaps a little strong, 5x would probably give a steadier image for the usual golfing distances, I would have preferred it not to have the slope adjustment figures in the viewfinder as it does make it a bit cluttered and it’s not really that necessary for average golfers.

Need to know how far you are from the green or flag then a course finder is a great gadget to use. This finder does as required and is great value for money however you need a steady hand when using the flag feature.

Takes a couple of attempts to pick up the flag
Absolutely delighted with this piece of kit easy to use automatic turns off after 8 seconds slope differential which is useful as my golf course is hilly .. I’ve a range finder watch which gives you front middle and back of the green but as pin positioning can vary this gives me a bit more accurate information the accuracy is spot on as I have used both my watch and hand held range finder together and I know its accurate as my watch hasn’t let me down though it many different courses
Certainly helps with yardage. Slight discrepancy between this model and next model up in yardage but negligible for amateurs.

A simple device that offers accurate yardages with slope adjustment. As the slope adjusted yardages cannot be turned off, the device therefore may not be allowed in competitions. A removable CR2 battery also means charging it mid-round will not be an issue as long as you carry a spare battery.

Buona visuale anche oltre 1 km, e buono la rilevazione delle distanze.
A dire il vero ho effettuato varie rilevazioni, sia di pochi metri in stanze interne, che a distanze in aperta campagna ad oltre 900 mt. Devo dire che le rilevazioni non sono precisissime: lo scarto puo essere tra il 5-7 % di errore.
Io lo uso per il tiro con carabina non professionale, e tale margine e’ accettabile.
Ci sono le istruzioni anche in italiano, ma e’ semplice da usare.

But…when I bought it all my golfing friends said “you’ll only use it once or twice”…I’ve had it now for 3 months and played about 18 rounds,guess what,ive used it twice..

It definitely makes a difference to your club selection and therefore scoring. The quality is amazing for the price and, in my humble opinion, its a no brainer for the keen golfer like me. Not sure why you would want to pay 5X the amount for a top brand one. Vanity possibly??

The range finder does exactly what it is there for easy to use and light weigh
Used it yesterday for first time. So first hole is a par 3 so know the distance well. It said 185yds I know that’s way out. Then clicked again and the flag scan icon come on. Now 147yds which was spot on. No issues after that. Great device. Never had one before, and a lot easier than getting your phone out every 10 minutes.

I like the look of the machine, and feels light and robust in my hand, a good device to have, a lot more accurate them my Garmin watch.

Tricky to use but after a few zaps it seems to get it about right, does slow you down though.
Nel complesso: Soddisfatto al 100% dell’acquisto. Per chi gioca a golf un MUST per misurare sia distanze di bandiere che di ostacoli (cosa resa un po’ pi complicata se l’ostacolo ha una superficie molto orizzontale in quanto difficile centrare un punto esatto con il laser e la difficolt aumenta con la distanza)
Nachdem ich ein anderes Gert dieser Preisklasse probierte welches damit Werbung macht exklusiv fr den Golfsport konzipiert zu sein und total unzufrieden damit war kaufte ich dieses. Fazit: dieser Messer ist wesentlich besser aber auch hier muss man teilweise mehrmals messen weil der Laser sich unterwegs andere Ziele sucht. Was aber auch daran liegen kann, dass ich nicht die ruhigste Hand habe. Da ich aber das Teil nur fr die Winter Grns kaufte kann ich damit gut leben weil die Umstnde dann anders sind. Z.B. keine Bltter mehr an Bschen und Bumen sondern meist freie Bahn zur Fahne. Was mich besonders beeindruckt ist, dass die richtige Entfernung angezeigt wird wenn man mit dem Fadenkreuz die Fahne an der Stange oben anpeilt und man dabei leicht wackelt. Kann das Gert wirklich empfehlen, Fragen beantworte ich gerne. In der Saison benutzte ich lieber meine Garmin Armbanduhr. Ist bequemer und bei meinem hcp 20 kommt’s in der Genauigkeit auf einige Meter nicht drauf an.
Ach so, handling ist super einfach. Schnuckeliger Apparat, klein und handlich. Liegt gut in der Hand. Batterie statt Akku auch besser.

It gives pin distance with slope in a second. Easy to use. The protective box which hangs off your golf bag is modelled on the Bushnell and is excellent.

Having owned a Bushnell, this range finder is just as good. Once focused, the site is very clear and picks up objects quickly.

Played 2 over last weekend thanks to it. Otherwise, i probably would have flown 3 of the par 3’s because distance on board was wrong (too short or too long). Was helpfull on a few other occasions trying to find yardage fom fairway.
CR2 batteries are very easy to find btw, in case some wonder about it. Just thought I’d mention it because I read someone’s comment about difficulty finding them. $6.95 CDN each.

I’m am useless at this be it bushnell or another. But this is easy to use and very accurate once you master to target the flag. Think bushnell You keep your finger on the button to get a reading. I think this is too short clicks either side of the flag for the best results. Well worth the money and excellent packaging and carry case

Ich habe mir den Laser gekauft, um ihn fr ein Video fr mein Golf-Portal nextgolf.de zu testen. Der Laser ist klar im Bereich der preiswerten Laser angesiedelt, kann aber mit den groen Marken auf dem Golfplatz ganz klar mithalten. Das Zubehr und die Batterie machen ihn besonders interessant. Ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen. Ich halte die Batterie fr einen klaren Vorteil! Denn whrend eure Freunde mit den USB-betriebenen Akkus ein Problem haben, wenn ihnen der Saft auf dem Golfplatz ausgeht, wechselt ihr einfach die Batterie (Stckpreis 3 EUR, habt ihr dann einfach immer im Golfbag) und macht weiter, als ob nix gewesen wre. Ehrlicherweise knnen wir alle auch nicht einschtzen, wie lange die eingebauten Akkus in den anderen Gerten halten oder wann sie durch einen Schaden das ganze Gert unbrauchbar machen. Das Problem habt ihr hier nicht! Wenn dich das Argument berzeugt, kannst du jetzt unten schonmal den “Ntzlich-Button” unter meiner Bewertung drcken.
Besonders hochwertig im Vergleich zu anderen Lsern dieser Preisklasse ist das superschne Case. Und ich mchte noch auf die Garantiekarte eingehen: Hiermit wird nach Registrierung eine 180 tgiges Rckgaberecht eingerumt. Auch das finde ich mal mega kundenfreundlich.
Zu dem Gert selber haben die anderen Rezensenten schon viel geschrieben. Das Gert macht genau, was es tun soll. Die Winkeleinstellung funktioniert genau so, wie es auch in der Beschreibung skizziert ist. Das ist auf hgeligen Pltzen schon ein groer Vorteil und zeigt mir leider, wie ich mich immer wieder verschtze.

Wenn ihr einen preiswerten Golflaser sucht und den Vorteil der Batterie (anstelle eines eingebauten Akkus) ebenso gut findet wie ich, dann ist dieses Modell genau die richtige Wahl! Viel Spa beim Golfen.

I saw this one, specs looked good, and looked smaller than my last one, I liked the idea of the case having that bungee closer as well as zipper, will make it easy to secure it in pouch faster when needed (this may come in handy when hunting).
It arrived quickly, very well packaged, complete with instructions, battery and cleaning cloth. The case for it is well made, has belt loop and caribiner clip as well.
Works well, reads fast, seems pretty accurate, and very easy to use. Fits nicely in my hand, and easy to hold and operate buttons. Image is clear, you can easily adjust the eyepiece for clearer image.
The display when measuring shows distance and can show angle / slope adjusted distance (which will work great for golfing and when shooting from a treestand!). There is a flag (pin) function to use when golfing, when activated, it will show distance when the cross hair pics up the flag pole (or any other vertical object, so be careful with that when golfing!!).
Very happy with this rangefinder, can’t wait to take it to the range now and hunting later this year.

S que me ha gustado mucho el peso y el manejo, muy intuitivo y cmodo a la hora de usarlo, para m era imprescindible que no pesase demasiado ya que ya llevo muchas cosas en la mochila.

L’ho comprato come regalo di compleanno per un amico di mio pap che per hobby fa il cacciatore e quando lo ha utilizzato in campo veramente soddisfatto, si vede benissimo sulla lente e non da fastidio all’occhio, gli piaciuto molto anche la custodi anche compresa che molto bella e molto robusta.
Il prodotto molto leggero e compatto e ci sta molto il colore nero e azzurro.
Si pu regolare la qualit della lente girando la rotella ce gira sulla lente e si vede benissimo, funziona molto bene anche il laser che mira la distanza e questo prodotto pu anche misurare l’angolo e anche la velocit km/h. Lho provato in persona e misura pi di 650 metri e sono arrivato ai 700 metri e oltre non raggiunge perch non obbiettivi come case dove lo provato, ed resistente alla polvere e all’acqua. Lo consiglierei a tutti di acquistare per chi va a caccia o va a fare golf.
