For the price, this Acekool portable projector represents great value for money. With 7500 lumens, it can project 1080p full HD onto a wall, side of a building or large screen. It can be used indoors or outdoors and is compatible with tablets, TV stick, laptop, HDMI, VGA, iPhone, android smartphone.
The viewing angle can be adjusted from 33″ to 150″ and the projector needs to be a minimum distance of 3.5ft from the selected screen, and a maximum of 13ft away – so it’s not exactly drive-in standard cinema. It’s more cozy home cinema or great for major sporting events with friends.

This is a mini projector so I wouldn’t be expecting high resolution image from it. I had a mini projector before so I kind of know what to expect. The set up of this projector is not too difficult but depending on what source your image/video is, you will need to have the cable ready to connect to the projector since no connection cables are provided. Easy to find a cable if the source is from the phone, but I was connecting from a tv box I needed a HDMI cable.
In terms of the sharpness of the image. Similar to my old one you will need to project it from a distance not too far away to get a sharper image. You will need to try to place the projector at a level so it is horizontal to the wall/screen. The clarity and sound of the image/video was actually better than my old one. I think if you want to get a budget projector to set up your own home theatre. This will be a good choice; but not to compare it with the sound and effect you will get from the cinema. The price is reasonable after the discount (~50), not worth if it’s the original listing price.
I purchased this not expecting too much for the price which was fine as it was not for serious use. I only used a sheet as a projector but when I turned this on I was totally amazed at the quality. It does the job and much more for the clarity and sound for a low end projector is brilliant quality. No need yo pay more.
This mini projector exceeded my expectations currently priced at 49.99 at the time of this review makes it a budget range. Projectors can cost hundreds of pounds.
This more is amazing value and the picture quality is extremely good especially for this price range. We do have the white screen which does also help the picture quality. You will need to buy the adapter lead to be able to get the sound which the price of this reflects this. This is perfect for the summer house or kids bedroom without having to worry about it getting broken. Can easily adjust to get the screen focused etc.

To connect your mobile to the projector you need to use a Micro USB/Type-C/Lightning to HDMI adapter. But they do NOT include them for some strange money saving reason I’m guessing but annoying if your ready to use and then find you didn’t have the necessary cable to use it.
Recently converted the attic and have a plain white apex wall, not having a spair TV we used the projector and they are now calling the attic our cinema room lol.
Its not perfect for its pretty good.

For a budget projector this performs really well. It’s compact and light so great for smaller room and it easy to transport so ideal for taking to a wedding venue to show photos and videos of the bride and groom or for use at Birthday/Anniversary parties.
Can be projected onto a wall but a proper screen will improve the quality and crispness of the images.
For the price there’s nothing negative I can say about this product.

I used this to project a design onto the wall that I wanted to paint on which made it so much easier than trying to freehand it! Once I got used to how it works it’s really easy to use and the instruction booklet makes it asy to learn. Good quality and can change the focus if need be to get clearer image. Haven’t tried the sound yet but I have high hopes as it’s been really good so far!
Didn’t know what to expect as the price is much cheaper than loads of others that I looked at. This is my first ever projector that I have used so have nothing to compare it to.
Awesome projector.. really good sound and picture.. better to project onto a hard surface like a wall or a proper projector sheet if possible as not great on a household sheet. The sound is really good.. perfect for movie nights.
The picture is not bad in daylight either to be fair just not as defined. It is super easy to set up and comes with remote control. The menu is very easy to access and navigate. The unit is quite small in size and very compact. It has HDMI, USB, TF Card, VGA, and AV ports which is very useful. My kids enjoyed this little one very much. It’s a great value for money.
Overall if you want to get into the projector world then get this, you won’t regret it. If you want full HD or 4k picture then move on and spend at least 5 x this. It’s a great entry-level projector that wouldn’t go a miss in a bedroom or living room, but it won’t be a dedicated cinema room projector.
Great budget projector. It isnt the best on the market but if you want a projector but dont have the money to spend this is fantastic. The image is quite clear as long as you arent projecting too far and the sound is crisp and clear. It is much smaller and lighter than I expected which is great for storage/travel. Im not very tech savy so was worried it would be difficult to use but was quite easy to set up and operate. We just project straight onto a white wall for a home cinema. Would recommend.
For a tad over 50 you get a fully functioning multimedia projector with remote control. Sounds great, and in use I would say it excels given the budget price.
You get all kinds of inputs — HDMI, USB stick, memory card and oldschool VGA. Projection image is clear — for such a small unit you can happily project over the other side of the room and have a really large clear vibrant picture. Sound is more than adequate given the price, but don’t expect miracles.
The remote control covers all the main functions and it’s very easy and intuitive. Just as well as the instructions are pretty meaningless. For some reason the instructions imply that it’s better used with videos than with apps like Word or PowerPoint, but I see no reason why you shouldn’t use it for whatever you need.
I’m really impressed with the quality of this machine and it represents excellent value at this price.

Bought this projector for my son bedroom to use it with fire stick so the projector becomes as smart tv projector and works really well!!
The quality and the brightness is outstanding and video in review wont show you the full blossom of the colors and picture clarity on just the painted wall nevermind when i get proper projector curtain.
Have used projector for a week so far so cant complaint at all as it works spotless! No loud overheat noises from projector and the speaker built in is better than i thought it would be and completely enough for my son .

Somewhat intuitive to you. Image fine providing you set the focus correctly. The low cost is a real bonus too, I feel. Overal build quality good.
