Decent soil but you can get it a good couple of cheaper in the shops
Both of the same items received ripped!? Not good! No support from Delivery person.

Only thing I would say is more the drivers who deliver it to disabled residence should be more helpful instead of leaving it on inaccessible places farewarning of them ringing the doorbell and leaving items out the front. Miracle-Gro never disappoint me. I used this brand for a long time now and also tried other makes but nothing like MG. I notice in the compost there are a mixture of granules miracle gro fertiliser. I also mixed the compost with crushed eggshells and tea bags and also horse manure when planting
or re-potting. I find the result is amazing. My pear tree bore overwhelmingly and my roses never fail to
bloom to beautify my back and front gardens. I’m very pleased with this product. It is good that they deliver to the doorstep; unlikely before I used to get from the garden centre and it was a nightmare to bring it to our garden as our parking area is away from our house. My neighbour told me to get online to get the bags delivered, since then I stopped getting from the garden centres or supermarkets.

Good compost only 4 stars as both bags had holes in them patched up with parcel tape but still managed to leak all over the porch much to my partners delight.
Nothing disliked just use Hermes as delivery and they do not match other Amazon deliveries everything I have had recently from Hermes has taken agws

Have used this product before. It is great, and now it is to fill a huge pot for our globe artichoke thistle. We are not experienced container gardeners but very enthusiastic. May not get artichokes this year but going forward, as it is a perennial and this compost is excellent I envisage years of lovely artichokes….possibly over ambitious saying years as our joint age is 135 years.

A good compost which is easy to use and holds adequate moisture for the plants.
Easy enough to use however there has been no wonderful show of flowers yet. I thought this would produce quicker growth but so far this hasn’t happened.

Put on lawn yesterday now waiting for the rain soak weed & feed to do it’s magic.
You receive a 40 litre bag. Not the biggest, but a very useful size. It weighs approx 12kg (almost 2 stones), so bare that in mind if you have trouble lifting.
That’s enough compost for, 8 x 9(23cm) inch pots. 4 x 10 (25cm) inch pots.
1 x 17 (43cm) inch pot, or 6 x 12 (30cm) inch hanging baskets.
I’ve only used it to pot up seedlings, but I’m sure it would be fine to germinate seeds.
It has a really nice crumbly, friable texture.
Where it stands out compared with other composts, is the inclusion of the feed pellets, which contain everything thing you need for strong healthy, leave, root and flower growth. All the required nitrogen and phosphates are here, as well as all the other necessary minerals.
I’ve used it to pot up my tomato seedlings into 6 inch (15cm) pots, and in the 10 days that they’ve been in, they’ve absolutely shot up. Going from 4cm tall, to now over a foot high (30cm). Very impressive. (Photo)
The compost does contain a wetting agent, but try to make sure it doesn’t dry out, as re-wetting is always a nightmare. Make sure you roll the top of the bag over when you’ve taken out the compost you need.
Weight it down with a stone, to make it as air tight as you can.
Overall, I’m really happy with this compost. It is more expensive than many generic types, but the included nutrients, make it a first class growing medium.
I shall happily buy again when needed.
Just to confirm, my order was fulfilled by Amazon, and I received Miracle Gro compost. It seems if you purchase from another seller, what you receive could be a bit of a lottery.

Obviously the compost was ok although I got 2 50lt bags at B & M for 9.(MIRACLE GRO) So was a ripoff, but lesson learned.
I always use this product when reporting my houseplants. Good quality soil and excellent value for money.

I bought two bags of compost. I do not have a car so it was convenient to have the compost delivered to the door protected each ina cardboard box. It is too early and cold to use the compost outside so the growing result will have to wait. although you could get cheaper compost from B and Q you still have to transport it. this way was easy and satisfying. I am nolonger a Spring Chicken so it suited me.
Used for bedding plants. Easy to use. Packaged very well and delivery was pretty quick
Ordered 2 bags of this, came in 2 nice little boxes and was delivered on time despite amazon saying they was on hold on day of delivery!! Been potting some new veg seedings today aswell as 2 30l buckets for potatoes. Very happy despite some reviews for this product! Just to wait and see now but seems to be a rich compost! Ill be ordering some more soon!
The compost is as expected but sadly the plastic bag it came in was torn open. Not a massive tear, ~6″ long, but right down the center line of the bag meaning the only way to open it was to extend that tear. Just a quick warning to others just in case it happens to you and the delivery driver doesn’t point it out you can end up with a lot of compost on your floor.
i like this compost anyway and to buy it at a good price, for it to be delivered is just so useful when you have no transport, will be buying a lot more as we enter spring..
This soil comes bagged in original bag and then boxed up. Perfect for finishing repotting some indoors plants and used to also toonoonpots in my garden. This soil unlike some I have bought is not dried out and the bag was in perfect condition. All of the plants I repotted indoors have actually had a growth spurt, this soil says it is enriched and I believe this has helped my plants. I am very pleased with Miracle grow products and this has not let me down.
The bag is way bigger than I expected (always read the packaging!) I always use this brand for my indoor plants. They thrive and I’m happy

Quick delivery not much else to say really a good quality soul for flower pots or hanging baskets
My son recently returned from a 9 month theatre tour in the USA that was cut short because of the virus. With no theatrical work on the horizon, he’s become quite obsessed with gardening (which I am delighted about!).
This is one of many recent purchases of gardening materials and equipment and he says that this is probably the best compost in the price range. Of course, a ton of hard work has gone into making the garden look presentable again, but all his efforts have been successful and he’s convinced the compost has played a big part.

Great compost iv mixed in with other compost and it works well arrived very fast I’d certainly recommend this compost and if I am potting small plant I’d use this compost only really dose what it says arrived so well packed and very fast delivery
Good soil. Bit expensive but as I couldn’t get any locally I don’t mind as much. Arrived quickly.
I buy this regularly to grow new plants, trees & plugs in the ground & in pots. I add it to the soil in my garden because I have heavy clay soil, so I mix together 50% miracle grow soil with 50% clay in the spot I’m planting a new plant or plug & so far no plants have died, but before I did this I’d lose some plants probably due to the heavy clay soils poor drainage. A lot of plants have thrived & grew quickly, producing lots of flowers. Some of these are plugs I have not even established in pots before planting into the ground, I’ve just planted them straight into the ground.
I know I could use pure organic compost like rotted manure but I feel this is better for producing fast results & it has lots of nutrients in it. It goes far too if I mix it with clay soil so I’m able to plant at least 30-50 plants with a whole bag
We’ve just repotted all our (slightly wilted) herbs. They took to the soil wonderfully, and are now growing at a fantastic rate! Worth the price
If you mean can I lift it then as I’m only small it is harder for me to move it but it’s not a problem I take the pots to the bag lol thanks great product xx
Very good but the package it come had a massive hole in luckily the was know hole in the bag of compos.
I was pleased to be able to order and obtain this compost during ” lockdown” as the world and his brother had taken to gardening and compost was difficult to get.
I was not prepared to spend hours queuing so I bought this,
The compost looked good, is easy to use, bag is heavy for women or older people but I managed.
It was well packed and delivered on time.
I have used this product previously and it always maintains the same good quality.
My plants are still doing amazingly since using this stuff + a bit of food pellets. Only problem with them being sent together is needing a very strong person to carry it (or open the box to carry separately.
both bags came taped together which made them hard to shift and poor driver had them both over his back.. with hindsight best to sever the tape and drag them indoors separately! the compost was damp so probably heavier than usual and also one of the bags had split, did let seller know. best compost we’ve come across though for texture and plant success.
I don’t understand the complaints of some reviewers, this is good value for money when you take into account delivery is free. Paying for delivery of heavy items can be very expensive. I have found Miracle-Gro compost gives me the best results when growing on young plants such as tomatoes and strawberries. I recommend this product.
