This iron is a dream, it glides through the ironing pile with ease and makes quick work if ironing sheets and duvet covers.
The cord length is extra long which allows you to move around of you need to.
I was a bit concerned about the weight when I first picked the iron up but once I starting using the iron this wasnt an issue. This iron is so much better than my previous one and I would definitely recommend i

I am genuinely really impressed with this iron. Very quick warming up time and it really does get 98% of the most stubborn creases out!

After years of use, our old iron finally gave way to our hard water and was badly scaled up. So bought this one as a replacement. Am determined not to leave water in this one which is what killed my old one. This was easy to use. It defaults to quite hot and then can be turned up one to very hot, or down three notches to cool. The spray is easy to use. The steam function is great. The iron is fairly heavy, which is good for me as I prefer them heavy, means less pressing down. I had a pile of shirts to plough through and the iron managed with ease without having to change the temperature more than once.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Philips Azur iron that we’d had for years packed up and, looking at the newer Azur models, it seemed like Philips had dropped the ball – they didn’t appeal to me at all. So after a long search, and some product recommendations, this Morphy Richards ticked all the boxes! Digital controls, a long 3m power cable and great aesthetics! I’ve used it only once for about 3hrs and it’s light years better than out old Philips. It glides over everything from acrylics, to wool, jeans and T-shirts. The steam action is also very good and can be controlled easily. It’s not cheap, but I feel you need to spend some money on an iron. Highly recommended!

In terms of functionality, this iron would do what any other basic iron does, it irons different types of clothes perfectly well.

It does switch between modes pretty easily, no issue or whatsoever with moving from one mode to another. It is way better than having dedicated buttons for each mode.

The boost mode is very reliable for removing heavy wrinkles off clothes.

It is very lightweight, not the lightest I ever tried but still pretty manageable compared to my other iron which is way heavier.

The water tank is see-though and therefore I can easily know when it needs filling.

Finally, it is equally convenient in terms of cable length. I didn’t feel that I am restricted with movement while using this and can move easily from one side of the iron table to the other.

Comfortable to use and control and the digital controls are easy to use. It heats up quickly and beeps when ready, which I found really helpful.

The soleplate is incredibly smooth and glides over all sorts of clothing like bread on butter. The water tank is big and managed to get me through almost 20 minutes of ironing before needing to be refilled. It does feel a bit heavy though with a full tank so bear this in mind if weight is an issue or you usually have long ironing sessions.

The varied steam settings are super effective at getting rid of any stubborn creases and there’s ample steam generated. The automatic shut-off makes the iron go into “stand-by mode” when it’s not in use for several minutes and shuts off after, so I don’t have to worry about forgetting to switch it off.

I simply love the self-cleaning option. Very useful in maintaining the iron and certainly makes my life a lot easier!

The design also looks very fancy and sleek. Definitely one of the nicer irons I’ve owned.

Well worth the money. Would be happy to recommend!

My first thought on removing it from the box was how stylish it looked. While looks aren’t everything, the rest of this iron’s features and performance are first rate.

It’s light and smooth to use, gliding over the fabric being ironed. It heats up quickly and has an auto shut off if you stop using it. It works a treat with a good steam output. The push button temperature control beeps when the desired temperature is reached and is much more accurate than traditional dial.

The quality of ironing is good and the cord can be wound around the base and properly secured, unlike some irons I’ve had over the years.

Overall, it’s the best iron I’ve had to date and excellent value.

I do not enjoy ironing, I am one of those people who end up with a pile of laundered clothes awaiting the day I finally give in and begin a mammoth ironing session.

What I liked about this iron is the large capacity water tank, no more having to stop ironing to refill the tank.

The temperature control is perfectly situated, making the process of changing temperature very easy – just a touch of a button and the temperature cycles through the settings. A beep lets you know when the iron has reached the desired temperature.

The iron is relatively lightweight compared to other irons I’ve used, it feels well balanced. The long cord length is great and so far it has not coiled up and tangled.

The iron really does glide over clothing, stubborn cases are easily dealt with by an extra press of the steam button.

A highly recommended iron from a reputable brand – I do feel they’ve thought about their customers when designing this product – especially those of us for who ironing is their least favourite household chore!

I liked this iron from the outset, having used a number of steam generators, which have often proven to be unreliable.

Priced at 59.99 as at 3rd November 2021, we have been assessing this iron for over two weeks and can find no significant faults with it. We really liked the light weight, the 3M cable and the digital controls and readout. If that wasn’t enough, the iron comes with a 4 year return to manufacturer warranty.

Physically, the item is very much based upon the traditional design which has been around for 40+ years, but that is where the similarity ends. It heats up extraordinarily quickly, possesses and auto-shut off for safety (8 minutes not used) and comes complete with a sort of accurate gauge which illustrates how much time you have left to use the steam function based upon the amount of water in the reservoir.

In terms of ironing quality. It is pretty good for the price, however, if you want to pay significantly more, there are better products on the market, but they do cost up to 5 times the price; so this has not impacted on my rating. Overall the iron works extremely well.

In terms of cleaning the internal elements, we tend to use deionised water and therefore have not had to clean the iron yet, however, when you do, it is relatively straightforward task to undertake.

Overall 5 star rating. A far from budget iron at a not much more than budget price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMorphy Richards 303175 Turbosteam Pro Iron Digital

I used to be the worst in the town at iron clothes, until, I purchased this bad boy iron by Morphy Richards. I’m suddenly ironing clothes so perfectly, not a single crease. The best part? It literally took me a few seconds and I’m suddenly better than all the grannies that used to mock my ironing skills. Life changing.

Firstly, I love how lightweight this iron is! You can finally say goodbye to those dreadful arm aches you get from dragging and lifting that iron. It also features a long 3m cord that is super high quality and will give you less restriction and more freedom when ironing. The handle is great and super comfortable, it’s clear that Morphy Richards have considered ergonomics here as I no longer get hand cramps after doing my weekly ironing.

This iron also feature an awesome precision tip that’s great for getting into those tight corners in your shirts, pillow cases, etc. I’m a huge fan of their large 380ml water tank capacity, so there’s no more inconvenience of having to stop your ironing session because you’re out of water! The auto-shut safety feature is also super important and the appliance will automatically turn off if it is left unattended!

All in all, a super high quality, durable and effect iron by Morphy Richards with plenty of features and controls for a perfect iron each and every time! For sure a 5 star product!

I hope you found this reviews helpful! 🙂

Powerful steam iron from Morphy Richards (a brand I trust) from their Turbostream range, which is their most powerful self-contained steam irons. The iron is ready to use in under 40 seconds and does its job very well, with a strong steam boost when you need it – which you can also use when the iron is upright, for hanging items. Not really sure the “digital” controls add much to the item.

Comes with a 4 year guarantee which is great to be able to rely on, and shows the confidence in the product. I’ve had problems with irons getting clogged up with calcium before, so this is reassuring to have this to fall back on.

Also has a longer than normal lead at 3 metres.

Used this iron for a few weeks and it has performed exemplary. Steam emission is very powerful and even linen shirts are ironed with ease and more importantly notably quicker! Our previous iron which was more expensive had no groove beneath the handle to facilitate wrapping the cord around which this Murphy Richards one has, a facility which we find useful for storing when not in use. To date I cannot fault it and would have no hesitation to recommend to others.
