I am genuinely really impressed with this iron. Very quick warming up time and it really does get 98% of the most stubborn creases out!
Good ironing
After years of use, our old iron finally gave way to our hard water and was badly scaled up. So bought this one as a replacement. Am determined not to leave water in this one which is what killed my old one. This was easy to use. It defaults to quite hot and then can be turned up one to very hot, or down three notches to cool. The spray is easy to use. The steam function is great. The iron is fairly heavy, which is good for me as I prefer them heavy, means less pressing down. I had a pile of shirts to plough through and the iron managed with ease without having to change the temperature more than once.

It does feel a bit heavy though with a full tank so bear this in mind if weight is an issue or you usually have long ironing sessions.

The automatic shut-off makes the iron go into “stand-by mode” when it’s not in use for several minutes and shuts off after, so I don’t have to worry about forgetting to switch it off.
I simply love the self-cleaning option. Very useful in maintaining the iron and certainly makes my life a lot easier!

It’s easy to use and makes ironing quicker and much easier. Simple buttons and not too heavy either! High quality product too and a brand that is trusted!
Straightforward and easy
Great iron that is easy to use. It doesn’t take that many passes for your clothes to be crease free as the iron simply glides across it.
The cord is a good length as well. Not too long and not too short as well.
A really good iron to have that is very straight forward.

When this arrived and I took it out of the box, I was really pleased with how nice the iron itself looks, I have now used this quite a few times and have not had any problems with it at all, some iron’s I have used leak water onto the clothes so I am really pleased that this one does not do that.
There is barely any waiting time as the iron heats up really fast and it removes the harder creases much quicker than my old one does. The cord is a nice length so you can move quite abit away from the socket.
Overall this is a fantastic iron and at the current price of 59.99 I feel this is great value.

This is fantastic iron. I can’t find any faults with it.
It’s very easy to use.
It heats fully in around 40 seconds. An extra feature that you’re paying for is the digital control. It works very well, though it’s not exactly hard to use a dial on traditional irons.
The iron glides across clothing effortlessly. Steam is powerful and easily controlled.
Cord length is decent.

My first thought on removing it from the box was how stylish it looked. While looks aren’t everything, the rest of this iron’s features and performance are first rate.
It’s light and smooth to use, gliding over the fabric being ironed. It heats up quickly and has an auto shut off if you stop using it. It works a treat with a good steam output. The push button temperature control beeps when the desired temperature is reached and is much more accurate than traditional dial.
The quality of ironing is good and the cord can be wound around the base and properly secured, unlike some irons I’ve had over the years.
Overall, it’s the best iron I’ve had to date and excellent value.

I do not enjoy ironing, I am one of those people who end up with a pile of laundered clothes awaiting the day I finally give in and begin a mammoth ironing session.
What I liked about this iron is the large capacity water tank, no more having to stop ironing to refill the tank.
The temperature control is perfectly situated, making the process of changing temperature very easy – just a touch of a button and the temperature cycles through the settings. A beep lets you know when the iron has reached the desired temperature.
The iron is relatively lightweight compared to other irons I’ve used, it feels well balanced. The long cord length is great and so far it has not coiled up and tangled.
The iron really does glide over clothing, stubborn cases are easily dealt with by an extra press of the steam button.
A highly recommended iron from a reputable brand – I do feel they’ve thought about their customers when designing this product – especially those of us for who ironing is their least favourite household chore!

I liked this iron from the outset, having used a number of steam generators, which have often proven to be unreliable.
Priced at 59.99 as at 3rd November 2021, we have been assessing this iron for over two weeks and can find no significant faults with it. We really liked the light weight, the 3M cable and the digital controls and readout. If that wasn’t enough, the iron comes with a 4 year return to manufacturer warranty.
Physically, the item is very much based upon the traditional design which has been around for 40+ years, but that is where the similarity ends. It heats up extraordinarily quickly, possesses and auto-shut off for safety (8 minutes not used) and comes complete with a sort of accurate gauge which illustrates how much time you have left to use the steam function based upon the amount of water in the reservoir.
In terms of ironing quality. It is pretty good for the price, however, if you want to pay significantly more, there are better products on the market, but they do cost up to 5 times the price; so this has not impacted on my rating. Overall the iron works extremely well.
In terms of cleaning the internal elements, we tend to use deionised water and therefore have not had to clean the iron yet, however, when you do, it is relatively straightforward task to undertake.
Overall 5 star rating. A far from budget iron at a not much more than budget price.

Good Iron, Long cord, powerful steam.
I, like almost everyone else alive, hate ironing….. that being said i am very happy with this iron.
Its so much better than my previous one, it feels lighter and has a good long cord and the steam really does ease those stubborn creases out much easier than my last iron did.
It cost a little more than i have paid before but it does seem to be a better product so is worth paying the little extra.

The handle is great and super comfortable, it’s clear that Morphy Richards have considered ergonomics here as I no longer get hand cramps after doing my weekly ironing.
This iron also feature an awesome precision tip that’s great for getting into those tight corners in your shirts, pillow cases, etc. I’m a huge fan of their large 380ml water tank capacity, so there’s no more inconvenience of having to stop your ironing session because you’re out of water! The auto-shut safety feature is also super important and the appliance will automatically turn off if it is left unattended!
All in all, a super high quality, durable and effect iron by Morphy Richards with plenty of features and controls for a perfect iron each and every time! For sure a 5 star product!

Great all round features
This iron feels good to hold and has a large capacity which is sufficient water for a load of washing. It semes very powerful and makes it a doddle to remove creases. It heats up quickly and I like the long cable. The digital display is easy to use and the water gauge makes it very simple to see when it is going to need reflling. I guess nobody thinks they need some of the safety features, but we can all get distracted or forget to turn things off, so they are definitely nice to have.
Great results from this Iro
This is a little heavier than I am used to but I can see why as it feels really solid and well built. Found ironing the families garments effortless heats up fast and easy to set the temperature the heavy weight of this iron came with a bonus as it removes creases much easier than my previous iron a fair trade-off in my opinion the soleplate glides across clothes with no need to go over any areas again a generously sized water tank to generate steam it can produce a lot of steam to that big water tank is probably best kept topped up as it does get through a fair bit of water if you steam a lot.

This has to be one of the best iron’s I have ever got. Makes ironing quick and easy. This model seems slightly heavier but this has proved not to be a problem. It glides effortlessly over fabrics and is exactly as described removing any creases instantly. It works perfectly on any chosen heat setting. Lovely long cable so that you can reach right to the end of the board. Easy to operate. Nice large water tank that is easy to fill with the jug provided.
Finally a iron thats a pleasure to use
The results are excellent and I’m extremely happy with this iron. The creases are removed very easily, the shape of the base and point at the tip make it easy to glide into small areas, around buttons for example.
I really feel helps the efficiency because it has more holes than my previous iron which means its lets out more steam. The iron is easy to use and hold but is slightly heavy which isn’t too noticeable unless you have done about an hour of ironing then it starts to make your hand ache.
The digital display means you can change the settings easily. The iron looks very modern and has been great to use and for the money it is one of the best irons I have owned up to now.
