Excelle
These are excellent. Just as effective and easy to light as the older style paraffin based lighters without the smell and messy smoke. Only ever need one to light our log burner so will last for ages. Great value
Very Effective
I bought these to start the fire in my Ooni pizza oven and they are very impressive.
I only need to use a couple and the wood takes very quickly.
Occassionaly I might let the fire burn very low (because I’m not paying attention), so I just drop one of these in and the fire recovers very quickly.
This box will keep me going for quite a while.
Odour free firelighters
Love these firelighters.
There is no smell, they light very easily and stay lit for a good length of time.
No excess packaging and arrive when they say they will.
You may need two
Found these are superb lighters for our log burner. Much more convenient than trying to light ever decreasingly sized kindling with newspaper. One normally does the trick, but the sizes vary a lot so don’t be scared of using two. Box came damaged so product was spilling out a bit.
Absolutely astounding!
For decades I’ve used the individually wrapped chemical firelighters. Recently we bought a new log burner and decided to try something more green. Wow! These little blighters are something akin to a small nuclear explosion, they take no prisoners. Highly recommended, to the extent I no longer use kindling. I’ll never buy anything else in future.
Excellent for a Woodburne
I buy these firelighters quite regularly. I have a big woodburner and rely on it for heating during the winter.
There is no smell or odour. I normally takes maybe 2 or 3 along with kindling, coal and logs to get it going, once the kindling and coal catches it is very quick to heat up.
They always arrive well packaged and easy to store. I am just about to place another order for them as I am running low
Good saving when you buy bulk.
Purchased 500 of them in a box and i think it will last me for whole winter plus i will have some more for the bbq in the summer. Very easy to burn so you don’t have to spend hours front of the stow. Very pleased and definitely will buy again next year.
Amazing
I preferred this style of firelighters over the white crumbly messy stinky firelighters from before. I have also tried some brown coloured versions that look like mashed cardboard. I first discovered these new wood curly firelighters at a different co when I bought logs etc from them and I was amazed at how brilliant they are. These that were delivered yesterday are packaged well and give a fairly good burn time. Loads in the box and happy with them and would buy these again. I bought them to refill my original boxes purchased from the original company. The Logpile ones have sweet cardboard boxes that have secure tabs on the sides and store inside a bigger box. I’ve kept the boxes because I love the setup and they look good.

These are great! Easy to light, even if they’re wet, we provide them to our Scouts when lighting fires and I use them at home for our open fire.
They’re dead cheap compared to other firelighters, don’t smell and burn for quite a while with a hot flame. Highly recommended.
Only need 1
These are great. I use them to light our Woodburner, chiminea, BBQ & pizza oven. I find that only 1 is needed in the Woodburner – I pop a sheet of newspaper (or Amazon packing paper) in the bottom (on top of any existing ash) then the fire starter topped off with a small jenga of kindling & logs. In the BBQ I pop a couple under a BBQ chimney with the charcoal in the top part. I only use 1 in the Ooni pizza oven & 1 in the chiminea.
Sometimes the twists fall apart a little, but they are just as effective with a heap of loose bits.

Was sick of hands smelling of fire lighters when lighting the wood stove so thought I’d try these.
So pleased I tried these even the smaller size fire lights are just as effective as the larger ones to start a good fire, will definitely be buying again once I’ve used the 500.
Couldnt use the Woodburner without them
These fire starters are fantastic! You only need one to ignite a fire, and it’s great that they’re all-natural. They come in various sizes, and though I didn’t count them, I’d easily say that the box hit the 500 mark. I purchased a box over a year ago and still have plenty left, so this was just a refill. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Regarding the delivery, I live in a more remote area where next-day delivery isn’t always guaranteed. However, I placed my order around 10 pm, and it arrived exactly as promised.”
Bring on Winte
Now, had to reorder firelighters after the first seller cancelled my order, basically refused to deliver the product. Anyway moving on to these, firstly they vary in size, considerably. But then again not too concerned they are a natural product. Had firelighters in the past, so build quality looks good and no adverse smell. Will update once I have used a few times.
Excellent quality firelighters
Bought and used before and will buy again. Always excellent quality compared to some others. I find you only need one with a little kindling on a wood burner to get a good fire going, so great value for money. RECOMMENDED.
OK so just started using these burning starters to light up my chimney and whilst they light up very well and they burn pritty clean which is a plus, my only complaint and that’s why only 4 stars and not 5 is that atleast 30% of my box the sizes are like half the size of the many so when they say they flame up for 10 minutes it’s completely not true sorry to say as I’ve tested them and even the biggest only burn for 4 minutes then just smoulder so the smaller ones burn for even less time but anyway that being said they still get the fire going with some kindling and they don’t give off any bad pungent smells as there only wood shavings soaked in parafin wax candle wax basically so I’m fine with that but as you get 200 and you would think they would be around about the same size and not 30% being very small that’s my only complaint apart from that they do what there supposed to do so happy days

Chemical free and best option for the environme
Work really well and like that we have now not had to use the paraffin starters, no smell, light easily and burn slowly so make for a good start to the fire in the burner.
Best fire starter I've ever used.
Very quick to light, no odour, clean to the touch and they don’t evaporate once the box is opened. I use two at a time and a box of 200 lasts a winter. I’ve tried others that are more dense and compacted but these are much better.

They light fires
Assorted sizes mean it’s much easier to light a fire with the fat stubby ones rather than the longer thinner ones. Slightly annoying as you end up using double the amount.
