Perfect to get my log stove going
Ordered 1000 woolies, they arrived within two days and are the perfect catalyst to get my wood burner going. Only need to use 2-3 to get the fire up and running.
Infinitely better than "traditional" firelighters and no smell!!

Well I have been using these for a few years now with my stove (wood burner) and I can say they are brilliant.
2 of these, a little kindling and the logs are burning happily in no time.
Light very easily and burn well with no unpleasant smells.
There simply is no reason to use those awful “traditional” firelighters any more! Just buy a box of these.

Does what it says, lights fire every time…no failures..no smell and no going off. Only problem is wee straggly bits left over, but hardly end of the world. Would definitely recommend these.

Bulk pack of sustainable, long-burning firelighters
These firelighters are such a good product. So much better than traditional firelighters. There are no horrible chemicals left on your hands. No unpleasant, pungent aroma. A big box works out significantly cheaper than the same number of chemically firelighters. There’s no faffing about remembering to pick up a box in the supermarket, no nasty plastics, no concerning chemicals… and they light really easily. A single larger-size box contains more than enough firelighters to keep us going in wood fires, barbecues, and bonfires for over a year.
These are by some way the easiest firelighters we have ever used: they ‘take’ easily, and burn well but for a nice, long time. Indeed, using these in combination with locally sourced, kiln-dried logs and we find there’s no need for us to buy kindling. Have been using these for a couple of years now, and definitelywould not go back to chemical firelighters.

These are good as firelighters I’ve used them before and will continue to use them.
The only complaint I have is the box was not taped up very well so by the time it reached me the box was open, not sure if I lost any in transit, but I’m not going to count them. one star was lost for this reason alone.

If you’re still buying those white petroleum-based firefighters then stop. These are just as effective, they are far more environmentally friendly, they don’t dry out. We use them for the wood burning stove and BBQ.

Brilliant No Smell firelighters
Compared to most firelighters these are great. No stink of paraffin, and they do not dry out from one season to the next, so worth buying a larger quantity if you have a shed or garage to sore a bin bag quantity for six months.

Excellent duration and heat for starting our log burner.
We put one under the kindling and, in cold weather, one on the top of the logs. We light the one on top first to heat the flue to avoid a possible thermal blockage and five minutes later light the one under the kindling. Good start to the fire every time. Excellent heat and duration and, unlike conventional paraffin based fire lighters, no unpleasant smell smell.

Fantastic, cleaner, quicker and no smell unlike a firefighter. Using a couple each time I light the coal fire, along with the usual amount of kindling, had no problems with it getting through.

Better than Waxlings - Love that they come in a box too - No plastic.
Have been using waxlings for years and recently decided to give these a go. Despite the fact that theses are more irregular and sometimes smaller in size compared to waxlings, they are not so tightly packed so light my fire first time every time. I find that waxlings are so tightly compressed that they can be hard to light without having to squash them to open them up a bit. If you don’t do this, they can go out and you notice 15 minutes later that the first hasn’t caught which is a pain.
I have in wood burning stove and open fire and these are great in both, and will definitely buy these again.
