KEYBOARDThe Impact LX+ has a 49 note, full-size velocity sensitive keyboard and lets you choose between 4 velocity curves that cater for different playing styles including a soft and hard touch. Dynamic and expressive, it is calibrated for all styles of music. Dedicated buttons for octave and transpose buttons as well as pitch bend & modulation wheels are within reach, so you can quickly shift the keyboard or apply additional articulation as needed. Better still, the 4 buttons can be assigned to control additional functions such as Global MIDI channel, MIDI program or LX+ user preset select. | POWERFUL CONTROL CENTERImpact LX49+ features 26 programmable real-time controls: 9x 30mm faders, 9x MIDI buttons and 8x potentiometers. Each control is fully programmable to send unique MIDI messages and can be stored in any of the 5 user presets. So you can control up to 5 different devices and switch between them seamlessly, in addition to DAW integration. If you switch “Null” on, any parameter values are stored when you change presets so you avoid parameter jumping. Used with Nektar DAW integration, the control options increase substantially, providing flexible pre-mapped DAW control giving you the best of both worlds. | PADS FOR BEATS & GROOVESThe 8 pads are great to play. Dynamic and sensitive, they are ideally suited for finger drumming. Assign sounds or MIDI notes to the pads is quick and easy with Impact’s unique âPad Learnâ feature: Activate, just hit a pad to select, and press a key on the keyboard to assign the MIDI note. Done! You can save your setups in 4 Pad Maps for recall at any time. With Nektar DAW Integration active, the pads are automatically mapped in Reason or Bitwig for instance and provide a true drum machine feeling, including visual feedback using the pads’ colors. |

Nektar DAW Integration takes Impact LX+ way beyond the functionality normally offered by USB MIDI controller keyboards: Give the mouse or trackpad a break and navigate projects, control the mixer or tweak plugins directly from Impact LX+. To help you make the most out of your screen real estate, LX+ also has shortcuts for opening and closing your DAW’s mixer window. And the best is, that there is no complicated setup or programming: Our powerful pre-configured setups take care of mapping everything for you. DAW internal devices are pre-mapped, and factory maps for many popular 3rd party instrument plugins are also included. Simply install and start making music!
DAW INTEGRATION SUPPORTS:
Bitwig, Cubase, Digital Performer, FL Studio, GarageBand, Logic, Nuendo, Reason, Reaper, Sonar & Studio One.

TRANSPORT & NAVIGATIONNavigate your projects: The 6 dedicated transport buttons are always within reach and mapped to control Cycle, Rewind, Forward, Stop, Play and Record. Dedicated Track up/down and Patch up/down buttons are located below the display. Press “Shift” to get access to alternate functions such as Goto L, Set L, Set R, Undo, Click and Mode (implementation details depend on the DAW). | MIXER CONTROLPress “Mixer” and the first 8 Impact LX+ faders are assigned to control 8 DAW mixer channels. The alternate Bank up/down function moves assignments to the next or previous group of 8 channels. Channel mute and solo can be controlled from the buttons under the faders. Pan for the selected group of 8 channels is handled by the 8 pots. Fader 9 adjusts volume for the currently selected mixer channel as well as master volume. There are even shortcuts to open and close your DAW’s mixer window from Impact LX+, so you can make the most out of your screen real estate and instantly see what’s going on. | INSTRUMENT CONTROLIn “Instrument” mode, you can control virtual instruments directly from the hardware. Nektar mapping takes care of assignments automatically. Many DAW devices and plugins are pre-mapped to match the screened blue control labels, so you can start tweaking right away. The knobs are assigned to typical oscillator and filter parameters, and the faders let you tweak amp and filter ADSR envelopes. In many DAWs, the Page button gives access to a second page of knob assignments. Nektar “Grab” lets you assign parameters to controls instantly: Simply hold “Shift” while moving the instrument parameters you want to control, followed by moving the knob, button or fader you want them assigned to. Done! Some DAWs even support saving grabbed parameters to a Nektar map for future use. |

Lleg bien y a tiempo.
This is best bang for buck. Hands free from the keyboard. It figured out my DAW and works! Keybed is a little wonky but overall… Best controller iv used. (iv owned 5-6). Love it!
I spent a short time to evaluate a variety of keyboards that could be used with Propellerhead Reason, not just as a musical input but also with control surfaces for the AMP and filters. This fitted the bill nicely and after a week or so I am still very pleased with it.
This keyboard really blew my mind. At a good price point, it gives you a great first approach to the world of MIDI music. I use it with Ableton Live and it has been a game changer when writing music, as the possibilities that the controller has have allowed me to experiment. The key are not piano, but as a guitar and bass player, these lighter keys are better. Recommended!
Midi keyboard is working like a fluid. Very Easy to use and build quality is awesome. Loves this keyboard. Go for i
Amazed by how good this is – nice keys, pads, pitch bend and, possibly as important, excellent DAW integration with Studio One 5 Professional – oh, and great price at 105
Prodotto e arriavato in anticipo. Stato molto veloce e ben pacchettato.
It’s possibly one of the most feature rich controllers at this price point. The pads are touch sensitive and responsive and the keys are plastic non-weighted but perfect for many applications. I love that they had a pre configured setting for my DAW. Saved me having to map and program everything. 5 stars across the board
Nice full sized keys typical synth feel, no aftertouch. Set up easy and works very well with all DAWs I have tried it with. Pads are nice to use and there are enough sliders to control channels and vst instruments ..good mod and pitch wheels. Runs off usb.
A great MIDI controller. I am using it with Cubase 11. It’s quite easy to install and use with Cubase .
First of all this has turned out to be a great midi keyboard. I searched for a couple of months for something that would be a good fit for an iMac/ Logic Pro set up and was close to buying the Arturia brand but I felt when finally comparing Nektar to Arturia they were very similar products however Nektar had the edge both in value for money and ease of use.
The Nektar looks good and all the buttons and knobs do something. Once you go through the software integration process you will discover that the track volume controls are already mapped to Logic. Very handy. The knobs for control of your synthesizing needs are not and I am yet to manually map these.
The keyboard feels fine. There is good enough sensitivity to the keys for loud and quiet play. I’ve played piano for thirty years and the keys were as expected for a midi. Plastic. Surprisingly I have used the pads. They are fun and if you like creating your own drum beat then they are good to have.
To summarize I’m very happy with this midi. I’m still learning all the functions of Logic and Nektar but it’s good value, easy to use and FUN!!
Seems great… I’ve not even used any functions on it yet… just played as a keyboard… so much it can do… but better than expected so far… especially for the price.
Great keyboard, nice feel to the keys and all the controls feel strong enough for regular use. Just have to learn how to use all of the controls with the software.
Bought it for Cubase, it works great! Soon recognises controls in all the Daws that I tried. Very easy to capture a control, and use it.
The unit is a dream to set up, and play. I had a Logic Pro X session humming in less than an hour. I read the manual, as it’s not super intuitive, but the functionality and ability to save 5 preset configurations is a definite plus. I use mine to operate Logic Session controls like mixing, panning, and control playback and record. In Inst mode the knobs will tweak Logic’s synths, and the B-3 organ adjusts the Drawbars with the mixing faders! In preset mode, I set it up to control Native Kontact and also my Spitfire samplers. very happy with the purchase.
I switched over from Ableton to Bitwig just for the integrated DAW control — in the past I have spent too much time trying to map controllers and knobs into my workflow and with today’s software, it can be a pain.
I wanted to spend more time creating music then I did tweaking my workflow. The keys feel fine and I like the controller knobs and sliders. the 49+ is great for a desk, I used to have a 61 key midi controller and I can do everything I need with 49 keys.
It’s a great value for the price, and I would love to see a deluxe version at a higher price with maybe a metal enclosure and upgraded keys, but for bedroom producers, its one of the best controllers I have used.
This midi controller has 49 keys, not quite full size but near enough. Good playability with heavier touch sensitive keys in lower end and lighter touch sensitive in upper end. Spring weighted keys with piano styling. Very light instrument. Keys are a bit noisy but this may not be an issue for most. Well laid out controls, good quality rubber faders and navigation buttons, nice feel. Oscillator knobs are plastic, better if rubber. No biggy.
8x pads, touch sensitive. Nice feel. This midi controller does everything you need. Integration with my Cakewalk DAW was good. Usability, in terms of ease of use, well its not that easy for a beginner like me, although I expect I will learn with repeated use. This is the case with most controllers anyway.
In summary, fantastic value, good DAW integration, good support documentation and good controls. Not bad for the price.
If you have FL20 as your DAW. Buy this. Best keyboard for FL20.
The provided integration to my DAW of choice (Reaper) makes this controller a breeze to use. The multiplicity of easily configurable parameters means I can manage (and track) automation changes on the fly.
The pads are responsive and much better for percussion than just keys (especially having multiple pads trigger the same key makes more interesting rhythms much easier to create!
Tight integration on the mixer-side too, with easy access to faders and pan controls – making it really easy to manage mixes.
Overall excellent value. I could only be happier if it also made me a better keyboard player! maybe in a future edition 🙂
Using it with Reaper DAW and Spitfire BBC Core Orchestra
This is a a great value and a very versatile midi controller. It works will all major DAW software including Ableton Live (despite some of the descriptions to the contrary about it being difficult to use with Ableton Live). I had no issue using it with Ableton Live or Reaper however, it works best with PreSonus Studio One Version 5 and the included license for the Bitwig DAW. The Nektar seems easier to setup completely (apart from the piano keyboard, the volume and mixing controls are easier to setup in Studio One and Bitwig but I also got them to work in Ableton. Reaper was the most difficult setup but it does work.) within those DAWs and it also has no issue with notation software like Musescore, Sibelius and Notion.
The keyboard itself has semi-weighted keys so it is easier to play than a regular piano so if you’re looking for a more piano-like keyboard, try a keyboard with fully-weighted keys (the Nektar is semi-weighted).
The drum pads work very well as do the mixing controls.
This is an excellent, feature-rich value at the <$200 range so I highly recommend this Nektar LX49.
great device to learn to play the piano, free Bitwig software licence which was unexpected however a great surprise. happy days all round
Does the job well and the DAW integration is very good for Logic. Not so strong for other DAWS
For a year it worked completely fine..
And now it has started giving pitch bend issues ..
It’s does not come to the 440htz ..tuning.
Safely delivered. Nektar is one of the best preferred brand in the world of music production. Definitely u can go with this product, if you are a good piano player thn go for 61 keys
Was will man mehr.
Bin Anfnger und sehr zufrieden. Qualitt und das optische Aussehen alles Top. Bedienung excellent + gratis Vollversion Studio Software inklusive.
It works well. I dont need about half of the integration features like the oscillators and probably would have bought a Roland A 49 for less $ but the Nektar works well. The keys are decent. The sounds you get nowadays are all computer based so that is not really an issue. I would recommend this at about 130$ . It will go on sale at some point.
This is the one to buy
Not that easy to set up but and this is a big but
It’s stunning you won’t be disappointed I’m sixty nine
The keys feel really nice.
I know you lie me say hope it’s not clunky well it not
I love it so will you give it a try?
If I can use it you ca
it is what it is its a controller your senses of touch and feal come to play so like head phones close guitars shoes you will have a opinon of sombodys taste that either fits there senses or dosnt fit there taste while this is as good as any out there and for the money cant go wrong its a a big piece of kit easy to setup drum pads spot on keys are spring very pleased with mine
I still cannot believe how easy this has been to use. Mostly I use it with Presonus Studio One V4. I just plugged it in (before loading studio one) and it was there and available. Octave keys work perfectly. It has been awhile since I’ve used a MIDI controller and expect to have some config hassle with drivers, but everything truly just took care of itself.
I have a small portable keyboard midi in my amateur home studio. I wanted something to give me a larger surface to play around with and this fit just right. I plugged it via USB and with a few clicks was using it in FLStudio 20. I’ve had no issues mapping inputs to the software which I can’t say about other devices I’ve experimented with. If your looking for a no frills and inexpensive input device that has a a good feel I recommend.
100% recomendable. Estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.
The keys feel sturdy and compare favorably to my upright piano. I’ve observed the velocity of the MIDI notes and the LX49+ appears to accurately transfer the attack with which I’m playing. The knobs, sliders, wheels and pads are also sturdy and track very well.
The tutorial supplied by Nektar to get set up on FL Studio was fast and easy. I’m also loving how many features are packed into it if a person wants to go deep into personalizing it for their use with the DAW.
Recomendado.
Yo I love this thing. The keys aren’t weighted but they still feel High quality and deliver really well. I use it with studio one and installed the integration suite from nektars site. Note you have to first register your device for the downloads. After just a half hour with it the keyboard already feels like an integral part of my setup. You won’t regret it.
I like when products under promise but over deliverers, you will be very very happy with this keyboard. The keys alone feels good, not plastiky or cheap. It’s sturdy & solid.
Love it!
I’ve been using this product for over a year now. It helped me a lot in my productions, made my work flow quicker and more precise.
After downloading drivers controller adopts its settings to DAW you are using and things such as mixing and parameters control became so much easier and more fun with using faders on the controller. Pads are really precise with timing, but it’s velocity could be better, which doesn’t make me change my rating from 5 stars, as I fix everything after tracking anyway, to get my track more “human” sound.
Very satisfied with this product.
I also got a dedicated sustain pedal for it, to complement all my needs!
Full sized keyboard, nice feeling pots and faders, simple and easy basic integration into the DAW with lots of more in depth features if required. Build quality seems good for the price, certainly adequate for home/semi pro studio setup.
Well made, easy to set up, and works great. An excellent keyboard controller at a great price.
High level keyboard keys are soft and everything works good
The 49 key is as large as I can fit on my desk. I ended up getting a mini keyboard and mouse to use while it is out. My husband added a shelf above my desk for it when I am not using it. The shelf is 2×10 and it overhangs slightly with the cord removed. I am using a powered USB hub with it and have had no issues with power being interrupted. The keys themselves seem full size, not skinny little things. It has some weight to it. I am really happy with this product and would buy from this company again in the future if I wanted to upgrade. I love having the extra keys so I can get a range of sounds out of the synths, for me the 49 key is perfect for now.
I like the touch. The response and the controllers on this keyboard. Great controller for the price.
Great product that works as expected. I use it in fl studio and am pleased with it.
Good product with this price…nice working with popular DAW but I will phase latency problem in FL studeo 12
Have had this keyboard for a while use nearly everyday no issue at all works well works with all my music software good to go if anyone wants to buy one go ahead you wont be dissapointed
I have had this keyboard for a month now and I rate it 5*. But! You need to know my reasons, because you may not see things the same way.
Keyboard. You will find reviews of the LX49+ that say they could not get on with the keyboard, usually because it is thought to be too hard. My guess is that these people have half-way decent keyboard skills and they enjoy weighted keys. I am a guitarist and I don’t have keyboard skills and I don’t enjoy weighted keys. For me, sprung keys like these are best. Do I think they are two hard|? No, not at all. They are harder than most, for sure, but I like the resistance and I especially like the way they bottom out. There is a nice hard endstop, so you know when you have bottomed out the key. This is actually the best sprung keyboard I have ever played and I have played about 10.
Pads. I bought this keyboard to get the pads. I have owned several pads instruments, and in my opinion they all sucked. This one, by contrast has excellent pads. They require just the right amount of finger force and they deliver the entire range of velocities. It means you can use them for any instrument (using key learn), and you can get the emphasese and the rhythmic subtleties you are looking for. Great. The pad learning feature works well so you can lay a drum kit on the pads fast. I usually like two pads to be given over to the snare, to do fills, and it’s a cinch to do. Rock and Roll!
The DAW Integration with Studio One 4 pro is excellent, just know that when I did it in July, the website was a just a bit behind the curve. So, although S1 drivers were there they were for S1/3 and I had to go looking for the S1/4 drivers. But, they were there and they worked. You will find all the synths and instruments in S1 integrate with this keyboard too. Very nice. However, I have found that synth/instrument integration with 3rd party stuff is not universal, so sometimes it’s there and sometimes it isn’t. When it isn’t, you have to do the midi learn thing. But what is nice is the keyboard remembers your links. So you only have to do it once. And how many 3rd party synths/instruments that you regularly use have you got, right?…
Workflow. After you have used a DAW for a few years you tend to use quite a lot of keyboard shortcuts, and so you may find you do not use the transport buttons on the LX49, and maybe you wont use the track control buttons either – I don’t – but I *do* use the patch buttons for speed, and I do use the octave buttons in conjunctions with them (especially when auditioning bass sounds which tend to be all over the place in terms of pitch).
I have had no quality issues
So, am I pleased with this thing? I could not be happier.
Everything is good…except the key bed…
It’s lil bit irregular in orientation….however works…well…
#Good_Buy..!!
I bought this because of the advertised compatibility with Studio One. It hasn’t disapointed on that front and I am really pleased with the degree of integration with only a very simple installation and no recourse to deep and unfriendly menus…. Sure the keyboard could be better, but for what I need it is fine.
Great, versatile, good quality & price. Keys just need to be mapped. Using with Logic Pro x
Hardware:
Compared to the other two midi controllers I own (Akai MPK249 and NI Komplete S 49 MK2) the hardware of this controller is not as nice. However, it is also MUCH less expensive, so that should be expected. Compared to other midi controllers in this price range, the hardware seems about the same as others. So, more or less a wash IMHO.
Software / DAW integration:
This is where Nektar products shine in my opinion. If your DAW is on the list of supported DAWs, then the integration really helps make this controller far more usable than most other controllers. I have heard that Moog and other high-end controllers in the $2k price range have great DAW integration as well, but I wouldn’t know. From what I saw and from what my son has told me, it automatically maps the transport and smart controls in Logic ProX to the rotary encoders, and maps the faders to the mixer controls. Very nice compared to what most midi controllers provide out of the box.
Compared to my Akai MPK which has virtually no DAW integration, this is MUCH better. Compared to my Native Instruments Komplete S49 MK2, the DAW integration is about the same. (If you know about NI S49 MK2, you know the main point is integration with NI Komplete software, not really the native DAW instruments. In this regard the Nektar’s integration with stock Logic instruments is better than my NI S49 MK2).
Let’s face it, unless you’re a professional musician performing on stage, software integration is what really makes a midi controller useful, so in that case this is one of the best priced options you could make IMHO.
Exceeding my expectations. The drum pads hit perfectly and the keys are easily as good of quality as one should expect at this price point.
Registration process was simple and intuitive. didn’t even read the manual. downloaded driver and my god.
– Logic X and Cubase integration are amazing. It has VST integration, mixer integration, track control integration, and of course full midi.
– Keys are fine. keybed spring action needs some time to get used to specially if you are like me and used to play with piano.
– VST controls is amazing and programmable
– It does a very good job even as a mixer controller with 8 track full control.
– The pad control was another surprise. not only it is responsive and has configurable pressure sensitivity but you can use it for different things not only drum pad.
I am still exploring all the things this little affordable midi controller does but boy Nektar did a fine job here. Five star for sure.
Bargain for the price! Researched keyboards for weeks and am happy with this one.
Was in good quality… happy that they delivered the package a day prior to the estimated delivery date
Built quality is awesome but it’s not support ableton live properly
Nice keyboard compatible to all software Logic pro ,Ableton ,FL studio, pro Tool
A little bit too sensitive though. I can literally trigger a MIDI event by blowing on the keys if I do it hard enough : )
Satisfied delivery
Very nice keyboard… Go for it if you want less latency issues with minimal price.. the seller musicjack packaged it well… It would be good though if a bag was provided or at least a foam case…
excellent product as as described also able to use different type of musical software
Perfect for Sonar – haven’t tried everything yet – but configuration was simple – quality piece!
Excellent product with great flexibility ad features. Very affordable price for 49 key MIDI controller with pads, faders and other envelope control features.
I love this keyboard! Been messing around with it and it’s just what I need c:
No regrets. I’m perfectly happy with the purchase.
