Happy with the product, but not actually white.
Great product but not as ‘white’ as shown in the picture, it’s more of an ‘off white’. Works well with Nespresso, Costa, Starbucks and supermarket own capsules. The fact that the aero frother is attached to the machine makes it neater and only requires one plug.

Bought this as a gift and the recipient is delighted with it. I’ve tasted the coffee from it and it’s gorgeous.
There are a good variety of pods made by Nespresso or other compatible brands and the prices are far less than other brands on the market. I wish I’d bought the one with the attached milk frother because I have ended up buying a separate milk frother. I read lots of reviews for many coffee makers, this one reviewed really well, make sure you choose Magica (I hope I remembered the brand name correct) brand as the other company who makes the Citiz wasn’t well reviewed.
Excellent coffee make
Stand next to my Dualit Espresso maker, which I use with ground coffee. That has a of adaptor, but it’s not very good. This is extremely simple to use. My kids have suddenly started making themselves a coffee! Thoroughly recommended if you just want an espresso, a largo, or something based on an espresso, like an americano.

It comes with a selection box of coffee pods so you can work out which are your favourite flavours and the reordering process is fast and efficient. Well done Nespresso. Not certain when my gift of George Clooney is due but the free glass espresso cups and silver saucers are very nice!
A great improveme
This machine is much solider feeling, better designed and with a much improved capacity than our previous Magimix model. Much easier to keep clean, too.

As you would expect for a Nespresso coffee maker it works beautifully. It has a slightly larger water reservoir when compared to my old one but that is definitely a positive. It is no more noisy than my last one but delivers your coffee slightly quicker. I think this is due to a quicker ‘warm up’ time. The spent pod chamber is slightly smaller than my old Krupps machine but it isn’t a deal breaker. A nice touch was the addition of a coffee sampler starter kit. I even discovered a new flavour to try.

I like that the coffee is hot. The problem with the previous Nespresso machine we had was the coffee tended to be lukewarm. Definitely good value for money. Easy to clean.
Nespresso Citiz makes a perfect cup of coffee
Just updated my old nespresso machine, this one is much better. The water tank is larger and the long coffee is a bigger measure which is perfect for me. It is more elegant than my old one. Really happy with my Nespresso Citiz

Strongly built and improved model
My valiant coffee machine finally gave up after long service. I would have replaced it like for like, but that wasn’t an option – and I can see why with this updated and more robust construction of it successor model.

We use it mostly for large coffees in mugs and we can use any sized mug with it by folding up the espresso cup stand and placing our mugs on the bottom stand.

Great Little Machine!
I bought a Nespresso Pixie back in 2016, bought it and the offer was fantastic and it is still working a treat.
When I moved in with my partner I had to insist on having a Nespresso machine in the house so I decided to buy this one as one of my managers had this one in her office. I eventually bought this one in January this year, it took several weeks before he decided to set it up but still, he was not in a hurry to use it. I also bought an Aeroccino 4 with it and showed him how to use both of them, now he can’t get enough of it and rarely drinks his tea. He loves it and now adds Nespresso coffee as part of his weekly shopping.

I’m loving my coffee again! This is such a straightforward machine to use. Not complicated and I like that I can recycle the used pods.
It’s also quite slimline so it doesn’t take up much space in my kitchen but it does look nice.

This is my first espresso machine and I absolutely love it! It’s so easy to use and makes a perfect cup of coffee
Solid machine does the job
Bought this to replace my previous magimix nespresso machine which finally died after more than 10 years faithful service. This machine has a larger water reservoir than my previous machine – although I don’t imagine I will need a litre of espresso in one go. It has 1 button that dispenses the correct amount of water for an espresso and 1 for a lingo which are nice features and you can flip the cup rest up to allow you to easily fill a mug or flask. The build quality appears as solid as my previous machine so fingers crossed it will last as long. I’m not enough of an expert to comment on the flavour of the coffee it makes but it seems ok to me and it copes with capsules from brands other than nespresso.

I cannot get the milk consistency correct for “designer” coffee .

Press a button and get a cup of coffee is pretty much what I wanted. Machine is small and easy to operate. Coffee depends on capsules, close to perfect morning coffee every time. Milk fraper is available too.

Second purchase of this machine in a year!
The previous machine I purchased less than a year ago, failed. I chose to give it a second chance and purchased the same model. This one seems to perform as it should. I learned that you cannot treat it like an Nespresso machine where you can control the amount of flow. You just have to let it run through its cycle and not try to stop the flow. I still doubt whether it will perform as well as the Nespresso machine I owned previously, but for the price, its a good buy.

This is my first foray into the world of capsule coffee and frankly I wish I’d got one of these years ago. It was recommended to me by a good friend and when it was on sale at half price in the Prime Day sale it seemed a no brainer. I am delighted with it, easy to use and clean, makes superb coffee and a dazzling variety of capsules from Nespresso to keep even the most demanding coffee nut happy. There are a number of companies make compatible capsules and they are generally cheaper than Nespresso but I’ve found through the Nespresso app that they run promotions regularly and I’ve used only Nespresso capsules to date. The machine itself feels solid and well made, it looks good and makes superb coffee.

Handy little unit for a quick descent cup off coffee. Only thing is that there tends to be a foamy island floating on the top.

It arrived promptly and with the addition of 50 varied coffees. all of the coffees are lovely, you just need to shop around for the best prices. I can get the pods from my local Carrefour here, and they’re only about 12p each, so I’ll be filling my laptop bag each time I fly home.

I have had many coffee machines in the past and this is one of the best. Nespresso capsules can be on the expensive side, but they do tase really nice. This machine works really well. Easy to use and takes seconds to clean. Very happy so far.
Second time lucky
I had to return the first machine I ordered as the capsules were repeatedly getting crushed and not piercing or getting stuck and not being released. Out of the 14 supplied we had just two successful drinks.
The second one is fabulous though and the coffee it produces is really lovely, a huge improvement on my previous machine.

Does the job well enough, but feels flimsier than other Nespresso machines I’ve had in the past, and the capsule mechanism relies on a fair bit of force to operate.

So I deliberated over so many different coffee machines before purchasing this one. I have always had a normal coffee machine, but never a capsule one. I researched everything about the different styles of machines and what was good value for money.
I watched many videos on which machine performed better and what people were saying about them. I contemplated the latissma model that came with a milk compartment but the reviews on it werent the best so it put me off even though it was cheaper. My friend already has a similar model to this one where she has an aerocinno for the milk and she said she swears by it every morning. To be honest i couldnt agree with her more, the aeroccino is so easy to use as well.
I know this is a little on the expensive side (if you’re not wanting to spend more than 100) but its worth every penny in my eyes.
I am a big coffee lover, if i wanted to save a few pennies i probably would have gone for a Dolche and my friends say they are just as good. However i enjoy the taste of coffee, and i have had a nespresso coffee before when staying at some hotels that have them in their rooms. So i knew i wouldnt be dissapointed. Even though i like my flavoured coffees which i would have had the variety in other models, i am happy i went with this one as i cant stop using it.

After 1 month’s use, still very pleased with this purchase. The machine looks very elegant, and came attractively boxed and well-protected in a presentation pack, with a sample pack of 14 Nespresso pods of various flavours. We have experimented with these and other brands and strengths of compatible pod, and decided on our favourite (Sainsbury’s Columbian – about half the price of the Nespresso branded pods).
There are 2 settings for the quantity of coffee dispensed – espresso (about 40ml) and lungo (about 110ml). We prefer the latter. These are controlled by the 2 buttons on top of the machine, which also switch on the machine, and have further functions when cleaning etc. The instructions also say you can adjust the serving amounts to your taste using the buttons, but for us the factory settings seem fine.
Operation is simple and straightforward. . After ensuring the water reservoir is sufficiently full, you press the LH button on top of the machine to switch on, and after a very short wait, the flashing light goes full on, indicating the machine is ready to use. Open the top lever, and drop a fresh pod in. Don’t forget to put a cup under the dispenser! Closing the lever (a firm push) sets the pod and perforates it so the water can be forced through. You then select the size of serving desired – LH button for espresso, RH button for lungo. The drink is dispensed immediately (takes about 10 seconds for the lungo).
We were aware of some comments that the serving was not hot enough, but it seems fine to us (who wants to burn their mouth on a scalding drink?). The used pod drops into a removable drawer underneath when you next open the lever, leaving the mechanism free for the next pod. The drawer holds about 8-10 used pods, and is easy to remove, empty and clean when full.
The transparent removable water receptacle at the back of the machine holds plenty of water for 10 lungo servings, and it is easy to see when a top-up is needed. We are using bottled water because the tap water in our area is particularly hard, and we want to reduce limescaling. Volvic seems to be widely recommended, as it is said to have the right balance of minerals for taste.
All in all, a very worthwhile purchase. Can’t comment on reliability, or life, but we are very pleased so far. It’s not the cheapesat coffee machine, but also isn’t by any means the most expensive, and the Amazon price was very good for this model.

Great Machine with reasonable price tag, and the finishing is spot on, also it look amazing with the cream color abit retro style.
The down side is I recieved the package with the welcome coffee box exipered two months ago.
This machine using the Nespresso pods produces good quality coffee and besides that it is aesthetically pleasing toning in well where it is located in our kitchen.

Bought to replace a ten year old essensa which had performed a sterling job and survived daily use. But we decided to upgrade and after the usual research settled on the citiz …. we’re not disappointed.
This machine is fantastic. It heats up in about 20 seconds, and we Iike the pre-set espresso & lungo settling (each can be adjusted to your taste if you wish) pump pressure makes for a silky smooth brew packed with flavour.
Build quality is great, metal grates & handle on capsule mechanism feel high end and the overall finish is spot on. Looks good in black with a gloss finish.
Chose this over the ‘U’ and I’m happy we did.
