Coffees are great from the Vertuo Next great range of flavours this was to replace my 5 year old Nespresso. Never got around to write a review when I purchased December 2021. Machine was working perfectly till recently when it stopped working. Can’t compliment Nespresso & Amazon enough in working on getting me sorted. Broken machine replaced by Nespresso thank you, no problems original still under warranty new one shipped straight away after dealing with customer service. Everyone so helpfu

Great outlook and very powerful brew.

Only limited feature for app like upgrade firmware so not useful for me.

I bought this after my other Nespresso gave up. It’s easy to use, love the milk warmer that produces frothy milk just like a flat white. The only difference to my old one is that the coffee pods are a different shape but I have to tell you the coffee is superb. I can’t get the pods anywhere else at the mo other than direct from nespresso. This may change in the future as this is a newer model. The machine produces the best frothy black coffee. Yummy!

Lovely machine however cannot buy the pods from supermarkets?? Why?! So annoying as hardly used it wish I hadn’t to be honest! Pods are sooooo expensive from Nespresso and Amazon!! Just annoying after spending all that money on a machine that we can’t use as we wish

What else can I say? This Nespresso machine is far easier to use than anything I’ve used to make a decent cappuccino in the past. Well done Nespresso.

If you are looking for lovely coffee like myself it’s great value for money excellent quality easy enough to use. Would recommend this product as other options are more expensive this one works just same.

I didn’t quite do enough research before getting this one. Seeing the vast array of “compatible” pods for the Nespresso machines, I thought it would be fine that the official ones cost so much as I wouldn’t necessarily use them. I see now, having got the machine, that this one only uses Vertuo pods and not the original ones of which there is so much choice.

Nevertheless, the machine is simple enough to use, and the coffee it produces is of good quality. There isn’t a vast choice, but there’s enough to have a few favourites, and Nespresso regularly release limited editions to keep your interest. The pods are expensive, and if you only limit yourself to a couple of coffees per day you’ll be spending an average of 25-35 per month on coffee. There are a lot of cheaper ways to get your coffee fix, but if you’re looking for something easy to make and that provides a lovely creamy head each time – this is an excellent option.

My machine did break down, seemingly whilst trying to perform a firmware update. Nespresso CS were great – and I had a replacement machine with me within a few days. While I can’t fault them for this, it does seem that these machines do break for quite a lot of people.

Overall, I’m happy with the machine, and the coffee. I do wish the pods were cheaper, or that Nespresso would release the patent so other companies could create coffee pods to use with these machines.

Read a couple of dodgy reviews after ordering this. But I’m glad to confirm it hasn’t put a foot wrong yet. The coffee is lovely nice and hot, not boiling. Pods are a bit expensive, but if you like a nice coffee and not hot brown I’d go for this.

Love the fact that the capsules are recycled and you can have your used capsules picked up for recycling for free!
My machine came with loads of coffee and an offer for more free capsules.
This in my opinion makes very good coffee and I have found several flavours I like.
No capsules for landfill and great coffee to boot. My first machine did leak, but amazon replaced it with a new machine and took the old one back!

    Pros:
    – Lovely coffee and a large selection avaliable
    – Easy enough to use everyday
    – Nice and neat on the kitchen side, lovely look and feel
    – Milk frother attachment is a must, great little accessory

    Cons
    – Introduction is poor, pay attention to the ml of the capsule that you out in as that decided how much coffee is produced from a small shot to a whole large mug at once, this may be obvious but the ml and size of mug I have is not common knowledge to me. Plus the names of the different mugs they refer to are well unique, just go by the ml.
    – When looking for mugs search by ml and and not but the mug names, it’s just easier.
    – Cleaning the machine can take some time to work out, instructions are limited and hard to find
    – Wireless WiFi connection does not work on a 5ghz WiFi connection only 2.4ghz couldn’t find this anywhere in the instructions

These are awesome machines, they’re not your normal basic pod units, you know the ones, one pod and you add the milk pod etc, the WiFi and Bluetooth Connectivity is pretty much a gimmick,.you can’t make coffee from it like the new Coffee Machine from Lavvazza. But that’s 400+, I’m not fussed by walking to my machine to save 400

These are more professional and have 5 different size drinks, it’s pretty much for expressos and mid size coffees, you have the option for “Grande” which is a large coffee even with milk it’s pretty strong,

They’re pretty amazing the way that the pods have a barcode around them and it’s read by the machine and dispences the perfect amount of coffee every time,

The milk frothers are great, better than the Aeroccinno4 (pointless release and an old fashioned design imo) so the Aeroccinno3 is by far the best and included in this bundle

Bought as our caf has closed for winter & we miss lovely coffee. Our kitchen is tiny so have no room for a large, traditional, espresso machine & so relented to one of these.

It’s clever! The amount of actual coffee in those pods is ridiculously small, you simply could not get anything acceptable from a cafe espresso machine using that volume. If I’d opened one before my first use & seen how little there I’d have laughed my arse off & binned it. So this spinning tech clearly works & from an eco pov getting similar results with less product is a good thing imo.

I say similar because the spinning definitely affects the crema which isn’t smooth but rather foamy with large bubbles. Not necessarily a problem & once you’ve put milk in not something you will even notice – from a barrista or espresso lover pov you do.

It also over-runs, ie it puts too much water through the coffee. Once the coffee coming out stops looking creamy & starts looking watery you want to swap the cup – you don’t want that part, even though it’s not much. Look at the stream, not the cup. This is if you’re using the espresso shots. It would be nice to have an app that allows you to set the timings.

I don’t recommend the long cup drinks for the above reason. Americano (‘pour over’) style drinks you buy from a cafe still use short espresso shots, hot water is added separately & this is because the espresso is the tasty part. Once that’s been extracted the good flavour has gone from the grains – commercial espresso machines are timed to prevent anything after that getting into your shot.

Use the espresso shots & add your own hot water, given how expensive these pods are there’s zero point in having inferior coffee by using them.

I do recommend this, the coffee tastes surprisingly good, just tweak how you use it & don’t bother with the long coffee pods – seriously.

Edit – it’s just gained a star. You can set the timings for each pod & it remembers it! Hold the button down till you want the flow to stop. Deeply impressed, honestly.

This is identical to the more expensive Krups version, even the drip tray is the same just with Magimix on it. The only thing I’d change is making the coffee temperature a bit higher but other than that it produces barista standard coffee at home. I use it every day and really happy with it.

We gave this as a present to a coffee lover. It’s good looking and the recipient is pleased with it though , like us, was surprised to find no facility for smaller pods . So “feeding it” is a fairly expensive business.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersOur machine developed a fault 3 months into owning it (daily use) however dealing with Nespresso’s people was fantastic, we called to report the fault on a Friday evening and after some fault finding the rep advised he would send a loan machine out and have ours repaired within a few days. A text arrived to say that instead of a repair they would send a new machine which they did and it arrived before the end of the week and 6 days after reporting our machine was faulty. Really happy with the customer service we received throughout; we love the coffee from our machine and now we love the customer service we received and that is why I have bothered to write this review. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBought the Nespresso Vertuo Next 11707 Coffee Machine 7 months ago after much deliberation. Didn’t think the Nespresso systems could deliver the coffee experience my palate craves but am well impressed. Slim sturdy design, ease of use and great coffee selection. Fabulous coffee machine! The large pods make great coffee, and there are some really interesting blend and flavours in the range. The pods are automatically detected by the machine and it makes the coffee perfectly accordingly.

The Magimix machine looks great (better than the Krups version) and is well made. The water container can move either side or centered at the back to suit. The empty pods are dumped into a container at the back and every so often you empty this – the pods can be sent by post for recycling of you don’t have that facility locally. It’s easy to keep the machine clean.

You are tied to Nespresso’s own pods, but they are very good and while not as cheap as supermarket fakes of standard Nespresso pods, you still paying a tenth of the price of high street coffees shops for a decent coffee!

I Love the machine and the coffee, however the coffee pods are expensive but excellent. A cheaper way to use the machine is to buy foil lids and your own coffee and make your own pods. Easy and loads cheaper too! But it obviously take a bit more time and patience.

The headline of this review is no exaggeration. I’ve personally haven’t had a better coffee since I’ve been to a fancy barista in France. The coffee that this Nespresso Vertuo Next Machine and it’s accompanying Vertuo capsules create is out of this world. The depth and richness of the coffee blows all other coffee machine capsule competitors (that I have tried) out of the waters including Dolce Gusto.

There is so much to love about this product so let’s start with the added benefits of purchasing. I was able to receive an additional 100 capsules simply by signing up for their exclusive offer on this listing. It took just a few days for my application to be approved and for the capsules to arrive (worth over 50) free of charge. The machine also comes with 16 various capsules to get you started. I must say that these capsules are stunning and beautifully presented. It reminded me of a chocolate box in some ways.

As for the build of the machine, at first glance it is quite large in length. Though this is due to the machine featuring a bin/dumping ground for the capsules. Once you’re done making your delicious cup of coffee, you open the machine and the capsule is launched backwards into a hole that leads to this bin. It can then be emptied into one of the free Recycling bags that come with the machine (and any future orders as a free add-on). I see this as a fantastic environment stance from Nespresso that I have yet to see competitors offer.

My personal favourite capsule so far is the Hazelino muffin which offers a more sweeter latte styled coffee. All of the capsules that I have tried so far have exceeded my expectations so it’s no surprise to me to see how expensive they are to purchase. As it stands, there are no Vertuo compatible capsules on the market (to my knowledge) so a pack of 200 capsules will cost you 106.90 from their website. Though you can also mix and max capsules starting at 0.39 each.

Overall, I am very impressed. The machine is easy to operate, just a click of a button and the water warms up quickly and is ready to start making your cup of coffee without a hassle. Would recommend, a deserving 5 star product by Nespresso.

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

Bring the coffee shop to your home!

I am pleased with the excellent quality of this coffee-maker. Thank you also for the prompt delivery. I have already subscribed to six month supplies of Nespresso capsules from the company with (two month supplies free as winter promotion). After the arrival of this machine, I wake up every morning for a decent cup of coffee to begin a delightful day with more cups of Nespresso coffee.

You have to buy the coffee direct from Nespresso – in bulk – and they cost about 60p per drink.
A cynic would say that the Vertuo system is made to prevent 3rd parties from making compatible pods.
I like this machine because you get a decent long coffee – and it’s cheaper than Starbucks.
The drinks produced are very warm – they aren’t hot. I was going to put this down as a disadvantage, but then I don’t like my mouth being scalded.
It is very easy use – just one button.

BEWARE - each cup is 60p

This is by far the best iteration of pod-based coffee machine I’ve ever encountered, I’ve used previous versions of the Nespresso line, I’ve tried their coffee/milk pod systems, I’ve competitor systems but none have delivered for me the “coffee shop” experience, especially when it comes to producing a nice thick crema.

Even my trusty Delonghi espresso maker is put to shame (which pumps out at the 15 bar pressure required to form a crema) is something I never thought would happen with it being a “proper” italian style coffee maker!

The Nespresso Vertuo Next uses new technology to brew coffee to create the pressure needed to form a proper crema (check the photos!) – instead of pumping hot water through coffee grounds stored in a pod, it pumps water into the pod and uses centrifugal force to spin it out at much higher pressure than conventional means. If you open the lid it even looks like a centrifuge! The machine is super easy to use, just one button! Plug in, fill with water, insert pod, press button, go! It really is that simple! It even has wifi capabilities that allow you to order new pods, find your local Nespresso store and update the software on the machine to make it compatible with new pod releases. The pods contain barcodes which allow the machine to precisely brew each one, from long coffees to espressos.

Now we come to price. Pod-style coffee makers have a reputation for being expensive and I can tell you now they are more expensive than buying your own ground coffee, which is more expensive than grinding your own from beans. The most expensive coffees at all are those bought from coffee shops when you’re out and about! My point is all across the coffee world you pay for convenience and these are no exception, however the per coffee price isn’t as bad as you may think. I worked out it costs roughly 60p per pod depending on what style of coffee you go for which is a hell of a lot cheaper than you’ll ever find on the high-street. Hell it’s even cheaper than most vending machine cups of coffee (I use the term coffee very loosely here). These pods also have another added benefit Vs. high-street chain coffees – they can be recycled! As we all know coffee cups to go from the likes of Starbucks, Costa cannot be recycled nor be made from recycled material as they contain a seam inside that touches the coffee. These pods are entirely recyclable and can be sent back to Nespresso for recycling.

The only negative with this machine is the noise.

The best iteration of pod-based coffee ever!

This Nespresso Vertuo machine is a great addition to the Nespresso suite of coffee makers. The Vertuo line of capsules is varied to try to include all types of coffee drinkers, from espresso enthusiasts to long coffee drinkers for a morning commute, unlike the standard pod system Nespresso offers, the Vertuo system has a barcode on the pod itself to allow the machine to adjust the pour and strength ratio of the pods, if someone wants an espresso put an espresso pod into the machine, then straight after you can put a long coffer or mug sized coffee pod into the machine and it’ll adapt instantly, it is so easy with a touch of the single button on top it will make whichever coffee the pod is designed for. This version in the Vertuo line of coffee machines is designed from the ground up to be more environmentally friendly reusing plastics for the chassis and as usual informing the consumer of the Nespresso pod recycling service which should appease those who wonder about the environmental impact pod systems produce.

This Nespresso machine is my 5th machine, I initially started with a Citiz and Go system at work with an Inissia at home, these I upgraded to Vertuo models, and the Vertuo at work is still in use today, the Vertuo from home has been donated to a family member and I now have the new Vertuo machine in pride of place in my Kitchen. It is used every day for my morning commute and for when I’m working at home, it is a godsend and with Nespresso’s pod systems there are flavours for everyone, my current favourite is the Odacio pods closely followed by the Caramel Cookie pods.
One downside to this machine and it’s a small one, on my previous machines the lid was electronic and would remove the pod and put it into the pod bin every time it was used, this one is manual and it is about a 50% chance of the pod being carried into the pod bin after opening – nothing a quick flick of the fingers wouldn’t rectify but there you go. I definitely would recommend. this machine and I think for everyone who likes coffee you should go for this.
