We used this through the very warm 2022 summer and have been so happy that we bought it.

Suffering heat exhaustion, we bought this and using a combination of chilled water/ice cubes/ice packs in a room measuring approx 4/3 metres it turned out the be a life saver and cooled and maintained the room to a bearable temperature for a considerable time.
Personally for me it saved days of misery from the heat and made life so much more bearable.
Takes up very little room and sits in the corner unnoticed ready until the UK’s next baking hot summer. Not overly noisy from what you would expect from a fan of this type.

Wow I needed this for this summer. It was amazing. It really blasts out cool air and has all different settings and a remote control. Worth every penny.
This is a brilliant little cooling unit. PLEASE note it is not an aircon unit and that’s reflected in the price. Ok, bit of knobbing about with ice packs for cooling but did the job in the office during the high temps. If you need ice cold aircon, pay double, but for me, this worked.
I highly recommend it’s a good cooler, really cool down the room a good buy.
Bought this to use in our static caravan in France. It has helped us through yet another heatwave. Works really well, temperature in the caravan was 33 degrees but we were kept blissfully cool. Highly recommended. Only suggestion for improvement would be to include 4 ice packs as 2 could be kept in the freezer while others are in use. Followed manufacturers instructions using water chilled in the fridge as well as ice packs. Great product.

It got us through the July heatwave with ease. Easy to use (remote particularly handy) and very efficient. Instructions could have been a little clearer though, especially RE the ‘cool wind’ mode.
The chiller effect is quite good, especially if you use iced water to fill the tank as it then immediately blows out cooler air and the ice blocks stay cold longer. Very effective powerful fan but quiet in night mode. Doesn’t disturb me at all or stop me sleeping and the timer is very useful. Highly recommend this and good value.
Works a lot better if you put ice cubes in the water container in stead of the ice pack’s that come with it keeps you nice and cool
I decided to buy an air cooler as a means of dropping temperature this cooler works well and is reasonably priced, it’s better than just having a fan with 3 fan speeds plus night mode and wind is a bonus was so impressed I bought two and then another two for my daughter and her dogs just love them.
Nice looking with a fan that doesn’t keep me awake. It has certainly been used a lot during the heatwave and passed with flying colours.
Would suggest buying some more cooler blocks and put plenty of water in the fridge to keep rotating. Definitely recommend if used correctly.
Remote is useful too.
Initially I was disappointed because it leaked every time I used but I persisted with it and after a couple of weeks it has stopped leaking not sure what it was but it was related to the rear filter not absorbing the water but works reasonably well now.
I live in an attic flat and it gets extremely hot especially this year, this air cooler has been a great buy, I use it more as a personal cooler keeping it just about 4 feet away from where I’m sitting. My advice is to put lots of ice in it to keep the air a lot cooler. It’s been making the unbearable a lot more bearable. I’m very happy with this purchase.
After reading many reviews I decided to order one. So pleased I did. Brilliant cooling system, easy to use. I keep a bottle of water in the fridge and these past two days have added ice along with the ice pack. More ice pack are needed however as they don’t last long in this heat.
Its sturdy and has a large 5L water tank. I like the fact that only the grilles at the front move for oscillation. It’s never going to cool a room down like a 300 air conditioner, but it does a pretty good job if you use plenty of ice.
First I will say that this was slightly larger than I thought. Not the height, more the width and depth. And this is NOT a quiet fan.
As a normal fan this works well, more so than a normal rotary fan. Simple remote and features are fine.
Sleep mode, hmm well.. its not quiet. The normal speed 1 is quieter than sleep mode.
Water mode: So you can ice blocks and water to make the air cooler This does work ok. The ice blocks that come with are slim. Just adding ice cu e with chilled water can work better.
Timer: 1-7 hour sleep timer, useful feature.
I wish the water vat opened at the front, would make things easier when you top it many times a day on a really hot day.

Works well. Sleep mode doesn’t seem to change anything but it’s fairly quiet on low setting anyway. I have been much more comfortable in the high temperatures and so have the dogs.
Love this. I had a cheaper JML cooler. This is far more powerful and really cools our open plan kitchen, lounge and diner.

bought it in june for 89 instead of an ac unit which was was out of my price range. This did the job. Drops the temp in a room by only a few degrees but the fan itself blows cold air which really helped during the heatwave last week. I filled it with ice and water and it did the job. Very happy with my purchase

Dont expect it to cool a room down – it has to point at the person and it will keep you cooler than a fan would.
The actual fan is of pretty decent quality, i find even low fan speed is quite strong. You can adjust the louvres verticle as well as horizontal, which is a nice touch.
Im not feeling any kind of mist from it, so its not going to soak the couch. The waterfall pad is synthetic, which is good so that it should last longer than the paper ones.
All in all, a good intermediate between just having a fan and using the air con.

Like a few other reviews, we ended up with a very large puddle around the cooler. Unfortunately we did not notice quickly, as it was soaked up by the carpet. On inspection we found that water was running down the back of the unit onto the floor, so took the curtain out to ensure that was seated correctly. What we found were little channels at the edge of the curtain. These need to face inwards to channel the water back down into the reservoir, not out over the floor. It was fitted the wrong way round when it arrived and we could find no reference to it in the instructions. It would be worth checking this if you remove it for maintenance too. The low fan setting is quieter than sleep mode.
I’m not sure about all the reviews saying that this doesn’t cool, because even with just water in (no ice), the cooling effect is definitely apparent to me at least. Helps especially living in a cramped flat with almost 0 ventillation. Only thing to watch out for is using the cooling function might leave you feeling a little bit sticky due to the water vapor being pushed out, other than that I honestly don’t think I’d survive this heatwave without it!
I like in a modern south facing house which can get very hot upstairs. In previous summers I’ve attempted to cool my bedroom by dragging my 40kg air conditioner unit upstairs which was very cumbersome or using a fan which, as we know, don’t work at all. I thought I’d give the air cooler a try.
It’s easy enough to use after a quick flick through the manual. Put some water in the tank, add the included ice packs and I also put some ice cubes in.
Does it work? Well, when sat in front of it, it’s very cool, fresh and pleasant air which is definitely better than a normal fan. In terms of cooling a room, I tend to turn it on an hour before I go to bed with the door closed. It seems to knock 1.5-2 degrees off the bedroom temperature. It certainly takes the edge off a hot sticky night but don’t expect miracles.

I do like how quiet this is, however, putting the ice packs AND fridge cold water in the tank does not bring the air temperature down much, if at all. It kind of just makes the air moist. But as a fan, it’s lovely and powerful, and looks good standing in our living room. Others have mentioned difficulty in emptying the tank, we had no problem after following the instructions. The remote control is easy to use too.
Basically, I think I was expecting too much from this cooler, if you want a dramatically cold air blowing over you, buy an air con unit.

I was amazed by this cooler, although it says it doesn’t lower room temperature, it has by 1 but more importantly I feel cool all the time. Considering I spent 5 times the price for an actual air conditioner that didn’t perform any better & used considerably more power, I’m very impressed with this eco product. Definitely recommend.
I have the worst part of the flat which is situated on sunny side and I always have bloody sun lol it gets super hot so this air cooler is my saver! I always have it on when I am home! Easy to use too,light and works perfec
This is simple to use and Dora’s actually cool the room enough to sleep. It’s a little louder than expected but it doesn’t disturb sleep. We will buy for other bedrooms
This got great reviews for cooling the air in a room which is why I bought it. I have a room that sun beams in throughout the day and it can reach a high temp even with black out blinds. It has a nice strong fan which does offer some relief but the cooler blocks you add to the water for the cooler function do not seem to cool the air all the much. It is still very aesthetically pleasing and is very compact for smaller spaces and storage.

I haven’t completely tested this item yet with using it as a room cooler, but it looks to be straightforward to use and so I’m hoping for a cooler therapy room compared to past hot days.

First time I’ve invested in a water cooler for those humid nights after realising a fan does nothing. This does a really good job and is so easy to use. It can be a little loud but I’m not too bothered by it and neither is my newborn. The only thing negative thing I have to say is not purchasing it sooner when I saw the price had been dropped!
Not a bad unit, but these air coolers are no replacement for air con. Works well as a fan. The water dispenser is large and when filled with ice cold water works fairly well whilst the water stays cold. Buts that what you would expect from this type of unit. So we are not dissapointed.

At the height of the heat wave a few weeks ago this unit really cooled things down. Simple to use and to refill the water reservoir. It is not an “air conditioner” as such but doesn’t say that it is but it does a superb job…
Wonderful fan with cooling air. I inserted the ice packs and also some crushed ice with water into the water container. Placed on sleep mode it kept the room cool all night. A little noisy at first with the night mode, but after a few minutes the noise reduces quite a bit. I noticed in the reviews someone noted the unit flooding the floor, this is not possible unless you overfill the water container, as it in effect the container is small bucket with no holes anywhere. There may be water in the filter so before filling ensure the unit has drained into the container. Nice unit that stands in a corner and looks very neat.
The fan arrived next day during the hotest days so thank you Amazon. It was easy to take it out of the box and get it started. It has a large 5 litre water tank which is excellent. It is quite powerful and relatively quiet and throws out a lot of cool air. It does work like an air conditioner when you put the ice packs or lot of ice in the water tank. It comes with two good ice packs but they need changing every hour and so I suggest you keep some more ice packs in reserve. I bought two for my house and later on another one for my daughter. This product is of very high quality and excellent in use and quite cheap for what it is. Every house without installed air conditioning should have this product. This is air conditioning on the cheap, versatile and quickly installed.

The fan is reasonably quiet on the low settings, and quite loud on the high settings. The air distribution is good. The timer is useful. I was able to fall asleep on the low setting. The delivery was very quick.

I did notice normally my deep sleep is less than 1 hour at night but the first night I used this my deep sleep was almost 4 hours – I was impressed with that .
After seeing the effect on my dogs I decided to purchase a second cooler as I knew exactly what I would get and it worked for my purposes. One thing I was less impressed with, hence the 4 stars is within days the price for the second one had gone from 71.99 to 109.99. I noticed it’s now advertised for 119.99. The price jump was such I seriously considered looking at an alternative and even cancelled my order through Amazon. Had the seller not sent out the air cooler so promptly I would have bought something different.
Seller did email me to say I could refuse the delivery and get a refund but I decided to keep it.

I would recommend this air cooler if you are looking to have an appliance that generates a cool breeze to make a room more comfortable. This air cooler is not an air conditioning unit so it won’t seriously reduce the room temp. I found that by the time the timer stopped the outside temp had dropped enough to stop making the bedroom hot.
Had the price not increased (still annoyed about it ) I would have given it 5 stars.

This air cooler has arrived a lot earlier than expected. Have tried it in the bedroom yet but got it going downstairs to see if it works. So far it’s amazing. I think some people were using wrong because we have put frozen ice packs in along with very cold water and some ice cubes and it’s cooling our whole living room down. If its as good upstairs then I can’t wait yo try it. I highly recommend it.
Very good product if you know what to expect from it. No it’s not an AC. It’s a water air cooler which adds humidity and cools you down if u ate in the range. I have used and seen air coolers being used in super hot countries and the concept works. This particular air cooler looks good and works for a good size room. Air throw is sufficient. Quality looks ok for price 70ish paid. Only improvement that can be made is that the bottons and leds are on the top which makes the use of remote impossible because u don’t know what’s happened when u push a button on remote. U have to get up and use remote to see the leds. Apart from that good product which can make ur life bareable on super hot days.

A really great fan and air cooler, perfect size, super easy to use, very quite and it truly cools my bedroom, but you must keep a window open cause it’s an air cooler not an air conditioner & air coolers work best with air circulation. The only thing I wish it was different is the position of the water tank and it’s capacity.

Pumps out nice cool air, doesn’t need to be on high fan to have desired effect. Doesn’t cool the room down so has to be on you like a normal fan.

It is quite loud if you are a light sleeper but I haven’t had an issue with the noise.
Just set this up today with the warm weather and it’s been brilliant in our lounge all day keeping things cool. Not to noisy and very simple to use.

I like the slim appearence and quiet soothing sound .i havnt needed to use the cooler yet but so far the different wind types and strengths are good.
