This didn’t work for me I’m afraid only seemed to move cold air around. But was highly impressed so quiet you didn’t hear it working. Might be OK for someone else – try it.

Works great but has broken down and not working now.
Great little fan, but it all of a sudden stopped working while the fire was on ,checked it over but seems like it is broken and needs replacement or repair.

This fan is small but so effective. Our burner is fitted under a low wall and we could only have a small fan. I was concerned it wouldn’t be as good at circulating the heat but it works fantastic. Great value for money and I would highly recommend.

Nice little sleak looking fans, if ur in a small. Room then these are ideal.. But for larger Rooms, use a bigger fan for more heat distribution.. But the fans did push the heat away and we did notice a difference in our larger living area

Only just purchased this and from initial use this is an extremely quiet and effective fan. It is robust and sturdy and after the burner had gotten up to temperature the fan started working with no issues. It takes a while before the heat from the log burner has a noticeable effect from the fans circulation, but once its in full flow its great.
I may consider buying a second one to really get that heat moving around.
After I had finished burning the latent heat in the cast iron stove kept that little fan rotating a good while after…at least 30mins.
Its early days and hopefully this fan has a good lifespan, if not then I will comment further!

More than pleased with this little fan.Worked straight out of the box ,had to shine torchlight on it to check it was running as it is so quiet.Silent it may be but the warm air moved by it is making big a difference to the temperature in my living room .

Didn’t expect to feel any difference but was pleasantly surprised. The fan itself is as good as silent and it really does push the hot air out into the room.
Have some patience when lighting your stove, it took a good 20 minutes before the fan started but once it had it didn’t stop once until the stove cooled down. Overall, very happy with it.

Distributes heat silently
I use this in my canvas bell tent on my log burning stove and it distributes the heat beautifully. It is silent and unobtrusive

This little fan pumps the heat out with force. Had to take it off the wood burner because the room had become too hot! Brilliant and has made all the difference to our comfort this winter. IWe were very pleasantly surprised that the fan turns completely silently so no sound interference at all. Highly recommended.

Perfect for small hearths
This snug little fellow fits nicely in our smaller nook. It throws heated air our at just enough speed to get into our hallway, about 10 feet across from the fire, so for us it works well. I’ve had better fans for distance, but they were double fans so…

Totally silent and gives a good signal as to when you need to pay attention to the fire (when it slows down!) It starts up when a certain temperature is reached. Pushes out a decent amount of heat into the room.

I can’t believe how well this actually works. I was very sceptical but I would wholeheartedly recommend it. We don’t put the heating on in the evening and just rely on the log burner and fan. It helps the warm air to circulate.

first time I have had a 4 bladed fan aand it does a great job. Brilliant product for the price well pleased.

The fan was delivered on time and we had a fire the same day to test it. As the stove warmed up, I flicked the blades and the fan started to spin causing a slight warm draft (didn’t want to start spinning without a bit of encouragement or maybe I didn’t wait long enough).

I have been using these stove fans for two weeks now. They work as expected, start at about 50 C and room feels warmer at extremities. They do move air, you feel the cold air moving past the back of your hand when up close (few inches) when stove is starting up. When hot don’t feel the air movement as much as the air is now warm.
I have twisted the blades slightly to increase air movement, being careful not to bend shaft.
I don’t hear any real noise, when stove is over 200C, it causes slight vibration sometimes, but that may also be down to me tweaking the blades causing an inbalance.
Would I buy again, yes, just bought 2 more for ageing relatives Xmas presents.
Will update in a few months or when they fail, hopefully not fail.
Update – 5 the Dec 2020
Still going strong, Stove lit at 7am and fans still going when we go to bed around 11pm. Used from September to April, very happy with these and now buying two more as spares. Can’t expect them to last forever, if I get two years, I will be happy.

Still going strong, left fan requires a bit more heat to start now and when fire cools it is first to stop. This was expected as I was told that two years is about the lifetime for this type of fan.
I have not used my spare fan yet as there is some life left in the left one.
Still happy with performance as the room has 16′ high ceilings and measures 18′ 22′ and it feels warmer at the extremities. The fans do move air but not blasting it at you.

Had an old two blade unit for several years which failed. This fan is much more effective in moving air at a very good price
