Was impressed with this device to the point that we purchased a second.
They are light and easily moved around the house if required.
My wife has respiratory issues so we use these to not only reduce the humidity but also the chances of mould developing. We have also noted the house seems warmer with these in use and the heating is used less, the reduction in humidity must have an effect on how we perceive temperatures i guess.
I am very pleased with the units and have recommended them to others in the family who are also pleased with their performance.
I couldn’t open the drawer in my pine chest of drawers due to such bad humidity in my room. It literally swelled shut. It had my bras in. I had one bra on constant wash!!! Water on my windows too. Bedding felt damp (I rent a flat with more damp than a vets towel.)
This went on and my humidity was 87%. After 24 hours and a bucket of water I was down to 66%. After 3 days my bra drawer was opened with gusto!
It hasn’t cost anywhere near as much as electric central heating and weirdly I felt warmer in my room.
I.
Love.
This.
That is all.
Truly brilliant product. Had bought a product not as good before so did my research this time. No damp issues anymore, quiet and we only use the water tank don’t need to put the hose on. Plus low energy. Product description is spot on and would highly recommend because it works !!
This is great, especially if you don’t have a tumble dryer and just drying the clothes on airer. It’s fills up quickly with water and the air feels much drier.
The only thing id say is it’s quite heavy but does wheel about easy enough. I live over 3 floors but chose to just dry washing on lower floor and leave down there.
I have minimal amount of condensation in my home because I use a dehumidifier! I only use it in the winter or when I need to dry clothes indoors, I put it under my clothes airer. You get a lot of water out and if you don’t collect it. It goes into walls and furniture!
I have been using one for many years and my previous one was still working but bigger, old and I’m sure less energy efficient.
My son has bought 2 of these and is very pleased with them. I am very pleased with mine and I have just recommended it to a friend and he has just bought one.
Fair to say. I’m very pleased with i
Ive been having issues for a while with excessive condensation which led to mould on walls, I have used smaller dehumidifiers but they only helped a small amount. This dehumidifier on the other hand is excellent. Since I started using this ive had no condensation at all and we are in the winter where the condensation is at its worst. It’s relatively quiet and very easy to empty.
Ive got up to 3ltr of water each day so had to empty twice.
Really good for anyone with the same issue
This is the second one I’ve bought because it’s so easy to handle and very economical. (We also have another brand that is difficult to handle and difficult to empty).
The energy efficiency is really good. If you have a lot of damp it will run constantly at first until you get it down. Then you will find it sits idle until the preset humidity level rises. We target 60% humidity because mould grows at 68%. I’ve recommended this model to several people.
Size is just right, surprised on how much moisture it collected so performs really well. Could be a bit quieter though. Once full really easy to empty. Overall a good machine.
It does the job right.
Important to note that if the house was too humid for too long you’ll have to use this equipment for a while before your house is dry enough. The humidity started dropping better after several days of usage.
The louvre at the top was down first few days, so much warning so I didn’t want to tamper with default setup, so little water was being collected. However, when I opened the louvre it started working better, because the container gets filled up in two to three hours of operation. So much water. They should explicitly mention the louvre function and operation in the manual.
Finally, if you’re travelling with this equipment it’s better to discuss with the appropriate officials. The equipment triggered security scanner. Apparently it has compressed inflammable gas. I didn’t know that. I was allowed eventually, but it was embarrassing, understandable too because if I knew at first I would have made a better arrangement of it’s transport.
Purchased for use in a single room, really easy to use, does exactly as you would expect it to. Our room sits at high 60s/low 70s% humidity and this keeps it at whatever we set it to (I went 50%). I run it pretty much 24/7 and it needs emptying around every 12hrs. It cuts off once full and restarts once emptied. You can run it with the little hose coming out of it, but it suits me better to know there is that safeguard of it cutting off (if running with the hose you have to monitor yourself and switch off once your chosen bucket is full). Also, for anyone as fussy as me about not having hulking great white electrics all over the show, this is suitably small enough to be unimposing! Very happy with it in all aspects.
I originally purchased this earlier on in the year. Needed another for 2nd floor and came across a more equivalent, expensive one at a reduced price. I’ll reserve stating the make but promptly returned it due to It being stated that it turns off. However, it never did (after reaching instructed humidity setting). In addition it was loud, wouldn’t collect water on low setting and had to have almost 2ft all round clearance (I live in a small terraced 2up/2down and do not desire it being my living room… Centre piece!). Needless to say, after much research… I’ve ended up purchasing a second 12ltr Netta. Does what it states and couldn’t ask for more! Slight criticism is only 1.5ltr container (have to empty 3x a day and slightly on the large size (but worth it)
Does a good job, not too noisy but after a while you tend not to really notice, sucks plenty of water in for a fairly big room – really should have got the bigger model, humidity has gone from 80 down to 60 in a matter of days so guess it’s doing what it’s supposed to. As for drying laundry – not so sure as sometimes it blows out cold air but I’m happy with it.
Had this for just over a month
Very pleased, easy to use and has made an enormous difference
Happily recommend
This unit does what it is supposed to do, and that is to remove moisture from the air. To operate it is easy and it is surprising how much water does come out of the air.
Easy to use. Surprised how much water it extracts from the atmosphere. We rotate it one room at a time and it has improved the quality of our air.
Hoping it keeps working!
Good little unit which does the job efficiently.
Noise level is fine in the day time with three fan speeds. You wouldn’t want it in a room at night though even on the lowest setting, it’s just a shade too loud – but this is not a problem.
Great for our kitchen whilst cooking, especially in the Winter as we have no extractor vent and don’t want to open the window.
excelent product reduced condensation to almost nothing and while being small and compact it is robust and copes with out 3 bedroom house
Having to dry clothes etc. in the house this weather, this brilliant dehumidifier does the job brilliantly and is much much cheaper than using a tumble dryer.
Wish I had bought this years ago really pleased with it, using it in my flat and really gets rid of the condensation quickly. Easy to move, empty, quiet and efficient to run thank you
This dehumidifier is just what we needed and does the job brilliantly, wish we had bought it sooner.
I found that my bathroom vents struggled to deal with the amount of condensation produced when showering etc. After a shower I place the dehumidifier by the door and after 15 minutes the bathroom is mostly dry. I also use this next door to my clothes horse to collect any moisture released when drying clothes in door. Works as it should. I’ve also noticed a difference to my level of mold within my house since the purchase.
This dehumidifier is the size of a small carry on suitcase and performs well, it has helped reduce the condensation in my home and stopped the mould from coming back. I was a little worried about the previous reviews saying that the noise was an issue but honestly it isn’t it is very quiet.
I would say the instructions could be better and it would be handy if it didn’t start on continuous mode but apart from that I am very happy with it.
Love this…..I do my laundry before going to bed, hang it on the clothes airer, dehumidifier on close laundry room door and go to bed.
Wake in the morning and can fold laundry and put away…..what’s not to like….. much cheaper than running my tumble dryer all the time.
So glad I bought this.. I was having a bad damp issue in my bedroom and throughout parts of my rental especially after the heavy rains and some flooding from the patio door. I also have asthma and had started wheezing in the evenings. After a week, my bedroom walls are dry to the touch. The wheezing has stopped too. I currently have it by the patio door and in 24hours it has extracted over 6L of water.
It has also helped to speed up the drying time of clothes on the airer from 3days to about 12 hours.
Living near the sea in a basement flat, I can honestly say this will be useful.
It is pricey but don’t hesitate to get it.
Perfect for my bedroom where I get mould on the wall, certainly a powerful little machine.
I’m always skeptical buying large electrical products like this.
My house struggles in the winter, with condensation on most windows.
This machine is fantastic. I’d agree with another review, it does sound like a microwave is on. Within a few hours, I noticed a massive difference. The air felt dry, but comfortable.
More importantly, I no longer have condensation in my house. It’s removed every drop. I use it when I’m drying clothes too and that’s made a huge difference.
Very impressed overall.
Makes a difference after few hours of using it, also lots of water collected!
We have this in our useless conservatory put in by a previous owner. It certainly takes moisture out of the atmosphere but needs to be emptied frequently. We do not have the means to drain it permanently and I’m not confident that I could leave it unattended in Winter as it would cut out when full as it is supposed to do. I will have to see if I can direct the hose into some sort of external reservoir with sufficient capacity to allow emptying upon my return to the house?
Works great, managed to absorb 2.5 L of water in a 12 hours period during first day of use.
Recommended++++
Dries washing overnight in winter good little unit, not to bulky.
Great little machine. Quiet, compact and dries the washing in approx 7 hours. Would recommend
I bought this to dry clothes rather than use the tumble drier.
It is a lovely piece of kit
Yes it makes a gentle humming sound but that is to be expected but it is not intrusive
It removes a surprising amount of moisture from the room and clothes hanging on a aider dry relatively quickly
Not as quickly as a tumble drier but at a greatly reduced cost!
Really pleased with it and would definitely recommend
Lovely slim and Quiet- on wheels and has carry handle
Used this to help dry laundry also next to the bathroom door to get rid of steam, really impressed with the amount of water that it collects. Easy to operate and empty, easily moved.. love i
We live in a wet part of the UK so this perfect for keeping out the damp and drying clothes in winter.
Very easy to use, does the job behind expectations, is not very noisy ,to make an idea sounds like an small refrigerator.
If you have a lot of humidity ( assuming that’s the reason you buy this thing) I recommend to install the small pipe that comes with the device and put an bucket next to it otherwise you will need to empty the water tank really often.
In two words ‘five stars ‘
This is such an efficient dehumidifier. It arrived yesterday, and despite the temptation to turn it on immediately, I did as I was told and let it stand overnight. Wow, once I turned it on it got to work and reduced the humidity level in my smallish sitting room from 72% to 60% in under an hour. It is no noisier than a small fan, it is easy to move around and I calculated that it costs around 6p an hour to run. Now for the bedroom!
Love it wish I had one when my kids were small
I’m really pleased with it, my washing drys much faster and I’m impressed with the amount of water I’m emptying from i
This is a good dehumidifier, especially given the low price. It’s ok on top speed during the day when there’s other noise in the room. I think it would probably be ok to run during the night on the slower speed, but haven’t tried it yet as it’s mainly for use in the living room when I’m drying laundry. It removes plenty of water and there’s very little condensation in the room the next morning. I mainly use it on the timer, which is programmable in 1 hour increments. The digital display is clear and easy to use. I’d recommend this to anyone who is going to be drying laundry indoors during the winter months without a tumble dryer.
Easy to use and does precisely what it is meant to do.
Needed to dry out shower room after flood, cheaper than hire from local tool company, been working for 10 days no issues.
