    J’aime voyager en hamac, et ce hamac avec arceaux est trs pratique et rapide installer. Il vite d’avoir une tarpe pour dormir sous la pluie, il protge trs bien. Par ailleurs les arceaux sont lgs donc fragile, faites attention quand vous les utiliss.

    J'aime le concept ! Je recommande !

    Vorab schliee ich mich anderen Schreibern an, hier und Sdafrika knnte die Verarbeitung besser sein. Die andere Seite des Tarps knnte ebenfalls sen gebrauchen und die Klettflchen bei den Reiverschlssen des Tarps knnten besser angenht sein aber das kann man notfalls selbst beheben.

    Ich persnlich finde dieses Teil echt klasse, absolut zu gebrauchen und ich werde das Zelt 10 Tage in Schweden testen und dann gibts noch ein Feedback.
    Was mich aber am meisten begeistert ist folgendes:
    Beim Einsteigen in das Zelt war ich sehr unvorsichtig, hab mich gedreht und bin halt im Netz und dem Tarp gelandet. Dabei hat es das Tarp zerrissen und war nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Ich hab den Verkufer angeschrieben und mein Problem erklrt mit der Bitte mir ein neues Tarp zukommen zu lassen gegen einen entsprechenden Preis. berraschenderweise hat mir der Verkufer, nach bersendung von einem Beweisfoto, einen kompletten neuen Artikel mit allem drum und dran geschickt.
    Vielen Dank fr diese Kulanz und Kundenfreundlichkeit.

    Tout est au RV : qualit, ingniosit, confort, robustesse. C’est vritablement bien pens ! Le tout est trs facile transporter, peu de place et poids trs raisonnable compte tenu de tout ce qu’offre ce hamac qui peut galement faire tente ! Je recommande 100% pour toutes celles et ceux qui souhaitent s’installer confortablement partout, en pleine nature, de jour comme de nuit !

I’m about 105kg at 6 foot tall and found the tent to be sturdy but hangs lower than other comparable tents. Only problem I have is that when setting up the guide poles can invert and it’s annoying to have to put the hammock down to out them back. Easy fix with a bit of string/cord. Would recommend. Is a tad heavy if your going on thru hikes ECT.

    Overall, a home run

    Pros:
    – Affordable.
    – Tent rails do a pretty good job of keeping the mosquito netting or the rain fly from sagging in the middle.
    – Rain fly actually keeps rain out (tested and verified!)
    – Light-weight and compact, entire thing packs up smaller than a shoebox and weighs very little.

    – The rain fly attaches via buckles to the mosquito netting poles, keeping the flow of water away and outward, but DOESN’T NEED a separate line to keep the rain fly up, it’s a good design

    Cons:
    – mosquito netting can be punctured just by giving it the wrong look..

    – the flip side of that incredibly light weight, and water resistance, is that if the poles are going to go in, it needs staked down. It WILL flip over if you don’t. The poles are heavier than the hammock.

    – Nylon, while water resistance, is not exactly imported cashmere.

    Overall, really impressed. Especially with the rainfly design. Knocked one star for the delicacy of the mosquito netting. Overall well worth the money.

    Update: so I wasn’t happy with the Hammock and decided to send it back. No biggie, just decided I’d stay with my tent. Shortly after I sent the hammock back, Night Cat contacted me without asking to see what was wrong with my product. I told them what happened and why I sent it back, expecting nothing in return. In fact, I didn’t even think to check my Amazon messages for 3-4 months after the return. When I did finally respond, they didn’t say anything about my delayed response, just picked up where the sale left off and worked to make things right.

    They sent me one of their two person tents to help make things right. The tent is great, waterproof, and lighter than my Kelty tent. Hard to say if the long term quality will match the Kelty, but it says a lot that Night Cat reached out to me and sent me a replacement product at no cost and without me having to contact them and ask for something.

    Most backpacking companies I’ve purchased gear from don’t reach out or try to make things right if a product doesn’t meet expectations. 10/10 would recommend based on the customer service.

    Also my hammock wasn’t 100% waterproof, but was super comfortable and would have been amazing in a dryer climate.

    Again, it speaks volumes the level of customer service in todays world of mass produced everything, especially since I dropped the ball several times getting back to them. Most companies would have not reached out at all or stopped trying after the first attempt at contacting the customer. 10/10 10/10 10/10

    having the option to use it as a tent or a hammock is really cool, not everwhere you go has trees. my friend used this and somehow spun round in the middle of the night and fell out but thats more user error in setting it up than a product fault id say, its still rly cool

    Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI put this thing up in the back yard, in Washington this time of year it rains hard most of the time. It’s been out there for about 2 weeks and I check on it every so often to see if it’s wet inside and it’s surprisingly still dry af.
    I weigh 220 lbs and it’s held me fine didn’t rip or even sag a ton. The straps it goes up with are cool and have little loops in them for different lengths and tree widths. I also got in there with my 30 or so lb son and it was fine. It has little bungie cords that attach to the ground and keep it from flipping surprisingly well. Over all I am really impressed with it and and just blown away that it’s still dry after hanging by itself in the rain for 2 weeks. I reccomend this hammock tent 100%

    Very easy to assemble without instructions, light and very comfortable. Definitely waterproof and warm enough, when used with a hammock under blanket, in -2C.
    The cat logo is now very small and discreet. My only niggles are that the internal storage pockets are awkward to access as the entry point is underneath. Also, the fly sheet is extremely well taped and this unfortunately makes it difficult to close the zip when you’re inside.

    I’ve only used this as a hammock and not a bivi/tent.

    A great bit of kit with a few small flaws

    Bis jetzt 2 mal benutzt. Auf- und Abbau ging einfach. Alles scheint strapazierbar und gut verarbeitet zu sein. Vorbeigehende Leute scheinen sehr interessiert an dieser Hngematte. Ich habe sehr bequem drinme gelegen (nicht zu krum woe es normal bei hngematten ist). Zusammenfassend sehr schnes Erlebnis mot dwm Teil. Insbesondere bei Regen fhle ich mich geborgen darin.
    Empfehle ich weiter.

    Ich hatte Night Cat auf einer Streckenwanderung dabei, weil ich drauen bernachten wollte. Am Anfang etwas skeptische, weil die Plane richtig straff gespannt werden muss, damit sie nicht so sehr durchhngt, war ich am Ende komplett begeistert. Weil man Night Cat als Einmannzelt und als Hngematte verwenden kann, sind die Mglichkeiten bei der Schlafplatzsuche um ein vielfaches besser. Als Einmannzelt braucht es ein paar Karbiner mehr und ein paar Schnre um alle gut straff zu spannen. Ein paar Tricks muss man auch kennen, damit als Zelt die Decke nicht direkt ber der Nase hngt. Dafr passt im Zeltaufbau einiges an Materiel mit unter die Plane.
    Groe Ruckscke einfach in einen Mllbeutel vor das Zelt legen.
    Aufgehngt ist Night richtig bequem. Sehr gerumig und hlt echt was aus. Leider hat es nicht geregnet. Ich kann also nichts ber die Regendichte des berzeltes sagen.
    Auf jeden Fall 4 Punkte. Ein Punkt Abzug, weil es in der Plane Vernhungen gibt, die mit Sicherheit Wasser durchlassen.

Leider muss ich 1 Stern abziehen, da ich mir bei 120 Kaufpreis schon einen Einschub fr meine Isomatte gewnscht htte. So rutscht sie daher leider nur durch die Gegend und macht das Benutzen des NightCat Zelt in hngender Position schlicht unmglich.
    Ohne Isomatte hingegen schlft es sich sehr angenehm (solange die Nchte warm sind).

    This off the ground, fun replacement for a regular tent, a hammock is a cool option for spending the night somewhere where there’s at least two trees around at an acceptable distance.

    It comes with clear instructions on paper on how to set it up. And after doing so a a few times the whole process takes about 5 minutes. A side note would be to wrap it around the trees at the same level on each side, sleeping even a little bit slanted in between two trees makes for a bad rest.

    Even though it doesn’t feel like it, the hammock is sturdy enough for you to put your whole weight on sitting down, and then transferring into sleeping position. The material is thin and seems like its going to rip, but its stretchy and the quality is very good, so trust that its going to do its job with ease.

    If you set it up properly, its comfortable enough to spend the night it, it has a bug net to keep the creepy crawlies outside, it’ll keep you dry with no issues and its just fun to sleep above the ground.

    We’ve had this set up in the back yard for a couple of days to test it out before using it for camping and luckily we had 2 storms go through our area. It rained pretty hard on it but the inside was perfectly dry.

    man bekommt sogar alles wieder, ohne Probleme, zurck in die Tasche. Bei vielen Zelten und Hngematten ist das ja nicht der Fall.
    Der riesen Vorteil bei diesem Produkt ist, dass man berall bernachten darf. Zelte, Notzelte oder andere Behausung sind in Deutschland nicht erlaubt. Eine Hngematte hingegen kannst du immer und berall nutzen. Wenn man das Hngemattenzelt am Boden nutzt ist bequem Platz fr zwei Personen und ein Rucksack im Furaum. Klar kann man darin nicht richtig sitzen aufgrund der Hhe aber das ist eher kein Manko an dieses geniale Teil. Gru Matze (bushcrafter)

It is a blessing to have and is very spacious/comfortable to lay in. I also really appreciate the mosquito netting to keep pesky bugs out as I try to relax and enjoy the beautiful day that the Lord has given. I haven’t been able to use the rain fly yet but I’m sure it works just fine. Maybe I can update this review after trying it out. It is a bit expensive but I think it was worth the money.     Nun konnte ich mir selbst einen Eindruck davon verschaffen.
    Die Camping Hngematte wurde schnell cersemdet und kann gut verpackt an.

    Fr den Aufbau gibt es eine Anleitung. Schwer ist das ganze nicht und schnell steht an geeigneter Stelle die Hngematte.
    Theoretisch knnte man einfach irgendwo im Wald die Hngematte aufbauen. Wichtig sind stabile Stmme, oder andere Befestigung.

    Aufgebaut macht das ganze einen recht guten Eindruck. Das Material wirkt gut verarbeitet und es gibt keine erkennbaren Mngel.

    Der Anfang in der Hngematte ist sehr gewhnungsbedrftig, denn es schaukelt zunchst ganz schn hin und her. Ebenfalls ungewohnt ist es die geeignete Liegeposition fr sich zu finden. Ich habe etwas Zeit bentigt, das ganze letztendlich lieben gelernt!
    Im Schlafsack habe ich nun ein paar Nchte in der Hngematte verbracht und ich muss sagen, es ist wirklich genial!
    Das besondere ist, dass das ganze wie ein Zeit wirkt da man es verschlieen kann mit Fliegennetz und von oben geschtzt ist falls es regnet.
    Angesicht des Gewichts, kann ich mir auch vorstellen diese Hngematte fr eine Trekking Tour zu verwenden

    Ich bin sehr zufrieden, daher volle 5 Sterne

    Was finde ich nicht gut:
    – riesiges weies Night Cat Emplem (zu auffllig)
    – Druckknpfe in trkis und verkehrt angebracht
    – Bodenaufbau maximal als Notbehelf geeignet

    Geliefert wird die Night Cat Hngematte in einer praktischen Tasche aus RipStop-Material. Darin ist das gesamt Set enthalten. Zudem ist sie gro genug, um alles wieder in ihr zu verstauen, auch wenn man nicht alles ganz sauber gefaltet und gerollt hat.
    Das Set besteht aus:

    – Hngematte samt fest verbautem Moskitonetz
    – Alustangen fr Moskitonetz
    – Regenschutz (von den Chinesen liebevoll Regenfliege genannt)
    – 2 x Paracord
    – 2 x Alu-Hering
    – 2 x Gurt mit Schlaufen
    – 2 x Karabinerhaken

    Material und Verarbeitung:
    Sowohl fr die Hngematte an sich als auch fr en Regenschutz und Tasche wurden sehr leichte und robuste Materialien verwendet. So besteht die Hngematte aus 70D-Nylon, welches auf der Unterseite beschichtet und somit wasserabweisend ist. Der Regenschutz besteht aus 210D-Nylon-Gewebe mit Oxford-Ripstop Webung mit entsprechenden wasserdichten Eigenschaften.
    Die Verarbeitung ist gut, jedoch nicht tadellos – z.B. befinden sich die Druckknpfe des Regenschutzes m.M.n. auf der verkehrten Seite – dazu spter mehr. Nhte und Verbindungen hingegen sind wirklich gut und robust gemacht.

    Aufbau (regulr):
    Der Aufbau ist denkbar einfach: Man sucht sich zwei Bume, die zwischen 3 und 4 Meter auseinander stehen und befestigt an jedem die Gurte. Diese sind doppelt genommen und verfgen ber Schlaufen, sodass man problemlos Spannung und Entfernungen ausgleichen bzw. whlen kann.
    Die Hngematte wird an den Gurten mittels der zwei Karabiner an den Gurten befestigt.
    Die zwei Alustangen werden nun in die dafr vorgesehenen Schlaufen des Moskitonetzes eingefhrt und fixiert – fertig ist der Basisaufbau. Dieser ist in weniger als 2 Minuten erledigt – schnell und einfach.

    Auf Grund des Gewichts der Alustangen deeht sich nun die Hngematte auf den Kopf, was aber kein Problem ist, denn wen man selbst darin oder einen Gegenstand hineinlegt liegt passiert das nicht. Wer das nicht mchte kann dafr das mitgelieferte Paracord und die Heringe zur Fixierung benutzen.

    Aufbau mit Regenschutz:
    Dazu wird ber den Basisaufbau der Regenschutz ber geworfen und mit dessen sen an Fen der bereits angebrachten Alustangen und mit Schnellverschlssen fixiert. Auch wird der Regenschutz im Bereich der Gurte fixiert und auf Spannung gebracht. Im Bereich der Gurte wird der Regenschutz um diese herumgelegt und mittels Druckknpfen verschlossen. Meiner Meinung nach ist ein Teil der Druckknpfe bei der Produktion (zumindest bei meinem Modell) auf die verkehrte angebracht worden. Das funktioniert trotzdem, ist nur etwas umstndlich.

    Aufbau (Boden):
    Der Aufbau am Boden wird in der Artikelbeschreibung belufig erwhnt, ist in der Anleitung aber nicht beschrieben. Meiner Meinung nach ist diese Aufbauvariante eher als Notbehelf zu verstehen.

    Die Probleme mit dieser Aufbauvariante mit Worten zu beschreiben ist relativ schwer, ich versuchs trotzdem:
    Anstatt mit Hilfe der beiden Gurte wird die Hngematte am Boden mit den beiden Heringen auf Spannung gebracht und die Alustangen eingefhrt. Der Basisaufbau auf dem Boden ist nun fertig. Der Platz innen ist nun logischweise deutlich kleiner als bei der hngenden Variante, aber zu Not ist das ok.
    Der Regenschutz lsst sich bei dieser Variante recht schlecht installieren. Zum einen muss der Regenschutz seperat von der Hngematte auf Spannung gebracht werden, damit dieser nicht durchhngt. Dazu fehlen jedoch zwei weitere Heringe. Die Fixierung des Regenschutzes im Bereich der Alustangen funktioniert nun mehr schlecht als recht, weil diese nun auf dem Boden aufstehen. Die sen des Regenschutzes werden nun umgeklappt, damit diese in die Fe der Alustangen geschoben werden knnen. Dabei wird jedoch der Reiverschlusses des Eingangs so unter Spannung gesetzt, dass dieser sich nur noch sehr mhsam ffnen lsst.

    Ich bin sehr oft in den heimischen Wldern unterwegs und da auch ber Nacht, deswegen hat mich dieser Allesknner gleich angesprochen.

    Diese Hngematte vereint eigentlich alles was man bentigt um Drauen sicher zu vor Kufern, Regen und Wind zu schtzen. Man bekommt hier fr viel Geld auch viel geboten. Die Hngematte ist sehr gut vernht und hlt auch groen gewichten Stand. Ich selbst wiege 100kg und bin 190 gro und finde sie einen kleinen Tick zu klein fr mich um wirklich bequem zu liegen.

    Man kann das Set als Hngematte nutzen, mit oder ohne Plane. Auch das Moskitonetz kann separiert werden. Wenn man mal keine Bume in der Nhe hat, kann man es auch komplett als Bodenaufbau aufstellen und hat somit ein kleines Zelt. Wenn man alles im Set wiegt, ist es relativ hoch im Gewicht, man muss dannaber auch nichts weiteres einpacken. Alles passt in den beiliegenden Packsack, hier ist auch alles dabei was man bentigt.

    Ich bin komplett berzeugt von dem Produkt, es hat zwar einen hohen Preis aber dafr auch einen vielseitigen Nutzen.

    Firstly, I would like to apologise for the lack of photos and half a video in this review. While shooting 4K, my phone overheated, switched itself off and I lost the video and photos I had taken.

    This hammock/tent comes in its own camouflaged bag to store it in. My daughter and I decided to have a go at putting this up and, despite following the instructions, we found it tricky to do so. It is one of the things where, if you have done it a few times, then it is going to be easy to do. It came with ropes, aluminium poles, strap, stakes, and D-Buckles.

    It is very well made and can be used a just a hammock, full tent with fly net, etc or as a mosquito hammock, making it nice and versatile. Material are light, making it easy to transport around, and durable.

    You have two siting options, set-up as a hanging hammock or as a ground based one. It benefits from a rain fly and mosquito net.

    This ideal for fishing, shooting, festivals, camping, etc. This the first of these types of tents I have had the opportunity to have a go with and it certainly feels like it is designed to last. The way it works and fits together is all well designed. I think you do get a lot for your money but then it is a lot of money (99.99).

Super sturdy but light weight and unbelievably comfy. Tested out for two nights and was great. Great features inside with couple of pockets and hooks for lights etc. Packed down and went back in bag without any stress. Great quality item and would recommend to all would be hammock campers. Will be really testing it shortly on a 3 day cycle hammock adventure in Scotland can’t wait.     This is a great little hammock/ tent. Very easy to get set up and use. Im a big guy too at 6’6 and about 16st (102kgish). It doesn’t have any issues taking my weight and its very comfortable to use when Im in it. The fly net and rain cover are great, and it means that you can use it whenever you like. Ive not tried to use it as a ground tent yet but the fact that this is an option makes it even better value for money.

    It comes with everything you need to get up and running, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow and you can be up and running in no time at all. It comes in a handy little storage bag so its easy to put away and even easier to carry with you.

    Not so sure how it will fair in windy weather and that probably where the ground tent would come in handy.I haven’t had chance to use it out overnight yet but I am looking forward to giving it a try and seeing if it will stand up to the challenge.

    Overall, I think its definitely worth the money and Im really pleased with it so far.

    Die Hngematte ist sehr kompakt in einer eigenen Tasche verpackt. Beigelegt sind bebilderte Anleitungen in 4 Sprachen. Die Anleitung ist zwar recht kurz, aber ausreichend um den Aufbau durchzuziehen 🙂 Der Einstieg ist zwar im ersten Moment “wackelig” aber man hat den Dreh schnell raus.

    Nun kann ich ganz gechillt im Garten in der Hngematte liegen und muss mir keine Sorgen vor Mckenstiche & Co machen, falls ich dabei mal eindse 🙂

    Alles in Allem eine mega gute Hngematte mit praktischem Mckennetz. Ich bin sehr zufrieden 🙂

I ordered this along with another hammock tent to try out for a hike I’m planning. Like other reviews it is actually a fairly light setup and quick. I tried it out in the backyard a few nights that reached the lower 60s. The main things I noticed is first that there is no good way to tye up the bug mesh door and the rainfly is held up by two toggles at the very corners that are difficult to get right. If your like me and like to keep your door open this is a major headache. The best you can do is flip it over the side but when you get back in its gonna hit you in the face.

    I will try to update this again after my trip.

    This tent arrived in tiny small bag, about the size of a large pencil case, and that proves that it is very easily portable. I ordered the orange colour, and you can also pick between green. There are a couple of things included, but overall it is easy to put together.

    It is made for one person, and that would be an adult. It is perfect for you if you like to go camping on a usual basis. It can also be a hammock, as well as tent, and it has a mosquito catching net, which is great so those annoying pests can’t get in.

    It is waterproof which is expected since it will only be used in the outdoors, and it is actually quite large and wide on the inside. There is space to move around and be comfortable, and it is definitely not too small.

    You can use it to sleep on the ground, but you can also set it up to be able to sleep hanging. Overall, really good quality, and it is priced much better than others, highly recommended.

    This tent/hammock I don’t actually intend for using as a sleeping ‘tent’ for overnight stays, but more as a hammock/resting space for daily travel adventures.
    However here is how I have found it so far-

    Setup: This was actually easier than I was expecting as you simply sling the hammock inner portion up first, then slot the poles in to raise the mosquito net into a dome shape, the outer rain cover has clips on it which makes the job a lot easier to do .

    Use: I am nearly 10 stone in weight and my husband is nearly 12 stone in weight and we found that this hammock took each of our individual weights with no issues, although you may find that to ensure the hammock is placed higher than you originally anticipated as you sag into it a bit as the straps and tree take the weight. One thing to factor in is that your rucksack will need to come into the hammock with you to keep it dry but this isnt a major issue to lay it down the end by your feet. The included lantern hook inside the hammock is a real bonus I think.

    Comfort: I found that the Hammock was easy to get into with its wide door and I had plenty of room once inside, If you have never slept in a hammock outdoors I must point out that your back will get cold in the night without some form of blanket underneath you to insulate. In the summer months you can flip the hammock over and have it as just a standalone without the rain cover, this is a good bit of thought has gone into the design.

    Overall impressions of this hammock/tent are good, it keeps the rain off, is comfortable and can take be switched easily from a hammock to a sleeping tent.

    I’d say for the quality you receive and the interchangeable design that it’s worthy the price.

    Unfortunately due to the horrible weather I haven’t had the chance to spend a night camping yet with this hammock tent.. However, I have set the hammock tent up between 2 trees to get a taste of setting up the hammock and to gain an insight into what it will be like to sleep in a tent that is elevated from the ground.
    Firstly, the setup was easy enough although initially daunting, the instructions were actually very good and I also watched a setup video just so I could envisage what I needed to do to set the tent up. Once I had the tent coupled to the trees, setting up the frame, mozzy net around the hammock was really easier than I anticipated it would be.
    Getting into the hammock was the next negotiation but again, the assumption of how difficult it might be was again worse than it was in practice. There is a large doorway and you can just sit on the hammock and then swing your legs in, it works a treat when done quickly, you just have to remember to take everything with you into the tent first otherwise you can be in and out for a while.
    Once inside though I was really taken with environment, I felt secure enough to move around, but I only weigh 13 stone and because I watched the video before hand I was prepared for the inevitable hammock sag, so I made sure that I picked 2 sturdy trees and I placed my coupling straps quite high.
    I haven’t slept overnight in the tent yet, but inside the tent there is clip for a light and don’t worry the mozzy net keeps away unwanted bugs and other potential visitors into the tent.
    What surprised me more than anything is the size of the tent. I expect quite a small internal area, but I had plenty of room spare near my feet and plenty vertical space to move around.
    So far, I have only used the tent as a hammock I have not yet set it up on the floor, but as hammock the tent rocks.

    The cat logo yeap stupid when you talk about stealth camping and the claim it can be used on the ground as a bivvy you can not unless you make straps to hold the poles and a need for a ground sheet peg out attachment for the fly and attach your own ridge line. I have done all this and its now great as a hammock and a bivvy despite all the above I was very happy with it for the price as a hammock its great as long as you don’t use the fly in wind very comfortably

    it’s an off the ground tent, it’s an insect proof hammock, it;s an ordinary hammock. It costs 80 english pounds but it’s well worth the money if you’re serious about surviving in the wild. Imagaine all those badgers and varmints that might be inclined to chew on your toes while you’re asleep under the stars… No chance suckers, I’m suspended off the ground!     I love sleeping out in my hammock in the garden (I have a frame that I hang it from) but I get frustrated by the changeable weather. This is a great solution because not only can I use just the hammock part when it’s sunny, but I can add the rain cover and use it when the weather isn’t so great! I love that it can also be pitched as a tent on the ground too and I’m also looking forward to being able to use it away from home when camping out. Really pleased with this buy! Looks great and works great too.

    This is a good bit of kit and better than I expected. It’s a clever product that combines a tent and a hammock. The materials and accessories required to erect it are all sturdy and seem to be up to the job. The waterproofing of the fly claims 4000HH, I’ve given it a good douse with the hosepipe and it seems to be up to the job. It’s weight is also not too bad factoring in the price, would be great for a wild camp without too long a hike. It’s quite straightforward to put up and take down again so scores well there too. It’s great in camo, however the “night cat” logo does stand out a little too well as it’s quite big. Best to lean some sticks and leaves up against this to hide it I think! Overall a nifty produc

    Easy to set up. It comes with some very long daisy chain style slings to strap it between some trees, each about 3metres long, so you don’t need to worry about finding the two trees the exact distance apart that you need. They are wide enough to not damage the tree, but you can wrap them around the get just the right distance. They then connect to the hammock with a couple of nice 5Kn carabiners. I found that by using a third carabiner I could pull the sling extra tight and lock it off through the next loops to get it really taut. It’s meant for one person only, and while you could probably squeeze someone else in you would need to be very friendly indeed, not too heavy, and I don’t think it would be very comfortable.

    You can use it as a normal hammock at this point, or you can thread through the hoop poles to raise the mosquito net. Some elastic guy ropes can also be fitted to stop it rotating too much. Then you just throw over the flysheet, clip it into place, and you’re set up. It takes about 10mins the first time you set it up, but after than it can be done in two minutes. It’s really quick and easy. Packing up is simple too, and the storage bag has enough space that you won’t be swearing at it trying to cram things in. You can be packed up and on your way in minutes.

    Getting in is easy. The entire side opens up and you just sit in it and swing you legs in – no weird trap door designs. It sags a bit when you get in, but then all hammocks do so no issue there. It’s nice and wide to sleep in and lots of room to go diagonal (the most comfortable way to sleep in a hammock) There’s a couple of hooks on the ‘ceiling’ to hang lamps, but it would be a bit of a squeeze to get a rucksack in there too. Probably doable, but you’re more likely to have it outside underneath you.

    The base is a thick plastic, and while you’ll need a sleeping mat to keep you warm it’s waterproof . The flysheet is ripstop nylon and feels good enough quality to keep the rain off unless it really opens up. This isn’t really intended for winter use though, so it’s fine as it is. Everything builds up tightly with no loose flappy bits.

    You can set the hammock up as a tent if you prefer, just put it on the ground. There’s not quite as much space as when it’s a hammock as you’re not sinking down into the base, but it works.

    It feels very cosy inside, and you feel (literally!) cocooned and comfy and the whole rig feels secure and you can relax without feeling like the whole thing is suddenly going to give way. The bright yellow one I have means you could use if for emergency shelter too, but if you’re ‘stealth camping’ the camo might be a better choice.

    There are lighter tents out there, but for this price and the flexibility of being able to camp comfortably anywhere as long as there is somewhere to sling it make this a great bit of kit for lightweight trips or bike packing. The whole thing packs down to a compact pack, and if you were to use a stuff sack instead of the supplied bag you could get it smaller still.

    Great hammock and a good value price. Recomended

    I got this for my son to use as a young leader with cubs. He’s not had chance to use it at a proper camp yet but has had a test run in putting it up and trying it out. Its simple to put up, much like a tent, with poles to slide into the outer and inner parts can be used in three different ways with the hammock and cover, as a mosquito cover and as a hammock on its own. Its very well made and once you’ve got the hammock at the right height and position and worked out how to get into it, it’s pretty comfy!! It also keeps you up off the floor avoided wet ground and creepy crawlies! Would recommend if you camp often.

    High quality three in one hammock tent, this hammock tent has anti mosquito capabilities and a rain fly which makes it very suitable for those who live in areas reflecting South East Asia. I got this hammock at the request of my son who’s going through a hipster phase of sorts. He spends most of his time sitting in the backyard under the trees listening to music and thought that he could use a bit more comfort when it rains, which happens a lot in the UK.

    This product arrived nicely packaged with all the advertised components within. The hammock is fairly simple to set up according to my husband, who’s an engineer, so the difficulty may vary. As long as you have two sturdy enough edges then the hammock won’t fall. My son, so far, has nothing but praise for this. He just relaxes outside and no bugs or rain can bother him so far.

    For 79.99, you get a great quality hammock that can support up to 300kg, has a water and bug barrier and good colour choices. Must recommend.

    This Night Cat camping hammock/tent was ordered for our son, who enjoys the odd day out fishing, and the odd evening away doing his ‘Bear Grylls thing’ as we like to call it. Putting up the tent and setting up the hammock are both relatively easy tasks, and once done, either option is quite impressive, with the materials used being quite durable, and waterproof of course. Conveniently, after use the hammock/tent folds away neatly and can be stored into the compact bag-pocket (how the tent arrives on delivery). 79.99 is a reasonable price, it seems about average for this type of product, and when considering the overall quality it becomes good value for money, but not quite the best bargain.

    A top product that takes hammock camping to the next level. The hammock throws up easily with strong straps that take heavyweight without a problem.

    The thing I love most about it is the simplicity it takes to set it up (important when wanting to bed down at night in a hurry) and the size of it. The hammock can take 1 person with loads and loads of room and is really comfortable., really really comfortable.

    The hammock can be used as a hooped bivvy bag as well as being put up between trees. I have used this as both and it is much better as a hammock but having the option to throw it down on the open ground is a massive plus on long hikes.

    The hammock comes with everything and has lots of little cool things like light hooks and a pocket on the inside. The whole thing is waterproof and it really stands up to wind well.

    Just remember that the logo is a cat with two big eyes that can be seen from the inside and so when you wake up at 2 am for a pee be ready to jump out of your skin as you think some mad animal has worked its way into your camp lol.

    A fantastic product and well worth the full price. It is light enough to take on big hikes with no problem at all.

    This one man tent/ hammock comes complete with all ties and rods and comes with a travelling bag – when packed it weighs about 10kg and is about the size of a small backpack.

    It can be used on the ground as a tent – or hung as a hammock with mosquito net and cover. Youcan also use it as a garden hammock ( which is all i have tried at the minute )

    It really is a great design – with so many options and really easy to set up – the instruction booklet is really easy to understand and it takes less than 10 minutes to get it set up!!

    Fully waterproof – they have thought of just about everything!

    I was offered this product through Amazon Vine and I was more than happy to review. To be honest I wasn’t expecting that much from it so was going to give it to my son to play with in the garden. However, this is hard working, robust bit of kit and I was very impressed.
    The instructions were easy enough to follow and it was easy to setup.

    An excellent quality hammock with bug net and fly sheet, it can also be set up and used for ground dwelling as a lightweight tent.

    The hammock comes with lightweight aluminium poles to set up the bug net over the hammock, it also comes with good quality tree straps for easy set up , so no complicated knots needed, even a novice or first time camper would have no problems setting this up.

    It’s a versatile bit of kit , perfect for forest wild camping if you get the camo or dark green versions.

    I ordered orange by mistake so unfortunately i won’t be using this for wild camping, I don’t know why a company would make a hammock bright orange, you will be seen from miles away, not very stealth like.

    Colour aside this would be a great bit of kit in camo or dark green, a hammock with attached rain fly , so like a suspended tent between too trees.

    It’s quite lightweight too at under 2kg for the whole set up and packs down quite compact into its carry bag, so you could fit it into your backpack or Bergen.

    The hammock is very spacious and made of strong material, it can hold a lot of weight , I’d only use it as a tent in dry weather as the ground sheet isn’t a bathtub design like most tents and if the ground flooded you might get water seeping through.

    Overall a great versatile hammock with rain fly , protection from bugs , easy to set up and lightweight and compact.

    A great bit of kit, just not in orange , you’d be seen from space.

    Hedging my bets on 4 stars as I haven’t actually camped in it yet, but I am impressed with what I have seen. Great idea that you can use this as a tent as well as hammock. I did attach to trees and it seems strong and easy to do. The headroom is rather more than I thought. It is perhaps on the heavy side for backpacking – but still less than 2kg.
    I think this is a winner and the price is reasonable for the good design and quality finish. I could do without the logo though.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m going to have to caveat this review with the fact that I’ve not yet spent a night in this yet, due to lockdown.

    However, I have put it up and got in – see images – and it seems to work as described.

    Despite some drawbacks, the design is a great stealth camping shelter; you can use it as a hammock where the ground is wet or uneven, or on the ground as a low profile tent where there are no suitable trees.

    The build and materials seem perfectly fine. It weighs 1.8kg which is fairly heavy, but for the price pretty reasonable. The upside of this is that the fabrics used are heavier and more robust.

    The cut isn’t perfect, and I found that there was loose flysheet fabric at one end. I suspect if the flysheet will contact the inner, it will probably be there. There are tie ribbons and clips fixing the fly to the poles, but I found that they distort the fly. I think you’re better off not using them and just ensuring the fly is under good tension.

    There are generously long straps with stitched loops to allow the carabiners to attach, giving good control over base tension. It’s worth setting them higher than you want to lie; with an 80kg tubster in it, the base dropped by just over a foot.

    The single biggest issue I found with it was that the entry door tie back loops are both right at the ends, making it almost impossible to actually tie the door up, and even if you do, it’ll come loose and fall down really easily. One can put the unzipped door flap between the fly and the inner, though it’s not a particularly robust nor elegant solution.

    There is LOADs of room – especially headroom – inside. A normal sized person is able to sit up in hammock mode with no issues. There are a couple of pockets and a couple of attachment points for storing essentials. However, this is a hammock; I wouldn’t plan on bringing your rucsack or your boots in with you, unless you in tent mode.
