Best on the marke
I’ve had 4 fryers in the past 5 years, they all failed with various issues ranging from doors not closing, mechanisms not triggering fryer to come on and electrical failures. Ninja are on another level, solid construction good sturdy handles. Non-stick tray inside each basket allows the food to not sit in any residual liquid or fat, you can of course remove this.
large independent operated baskets, you can sync the timers so that food requiring different cooking times complete at the same time.
Its just a really good product.
I wished I have got this earlier. Imagine one teaspoon of oil for a traditional Malaysian fried chicken in which we normally soak in a bath of oil! . It was so crispy and the sweet potato chips were also crispy slightly burnt because I forgot to check on it. If you can’t avoid fried food but wants to get the healthier version of it, get this product! You be can cook two things at different temperature at the same time or match to use both sides at the same time. And oh, it’s dish washer safe as well.
Worth Every Penny
Bought this to replace air fryer which had become dangerous due to the catch failing between the bowl and basket, causing bowl to crash to the floor. This was bought to replace previous air fryer which kept switching off. Decided to buy something better quality so bought the Ninja. Wish I’d bought this first! What a quality item, pure genius. The baskets are ceramic so nothing sticks, ever. No catches to break, cooks practically anything you can think of – must be saving me a fortune on gas! The trivets in the baskets are an inspiration, food that can’t be turned e.g. oven fish cook evenly and don’t burn or stick. Food cooks so quickly and perfectly. Press the sync button and both compartments finish cooking at the same time. Worth every penny. Buy cheap, buy twice. Or in my case, three times!

Been thinking of getting one of these for a while.
One of those best purchases.
Initially thought it would save electric instead of using oven.
Then save time after working all day and not having to wait for oven to heat up.
Does all the above and more.
Very Very fast, lots of cook programs and also after two uses a doddle to use.
Wipe clean trays and also looks the part.
Can keep checking food while cooking and extend cooking and temp at push of button.
Two trays means you may have 10 min cook in tray 2 and something in tray 1 needing 20 min cook
this clever thing ensures they are ready at the same time.
Simple to use, easy to clean, saves time, saves power. BUY ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great gadge
A lot bigger than I thought. I have found this so easy and straightforward to use. The dual ability makes things so much easier when cooking different foods at different temperatures and time.
I find myself just using this and not bothering with the oven at all. So many options for all types of foods even the reheating option is great as the food is crispy and not soggy as it would be if reheated in a microwave.

Great appliance. Easy to use, easy to clean. Just big enough for 2 person portions of chips. The cooking pauses when you pull out tray to check the food, which is a bonus as I thought I read a review that said it didnt.
Tip.. I set temp for 10deg less than recipe recommends, otherwise I’ve found it overdone a little.
Much better than previous actifry.
Really great airfryer, particularly good for meat but roasting veg also works. I haven’t found a way of getting truly “crispy” chips but I suspect you only get that with lots of oil in a deep fryer. If you are doing coated food might pay to spray on some oil to get that really golden coat and would avoid wet batter or floury coating. The temp control is useful though in all honesty I tend to just use the air fry setting and then adjust how long I cook things for. Typical chicken breast is done in about 15 mins and super moist. You do need to shake the tray a couple of time to get the outside nice and evenly cooked especially if you load it up but it’s no hardship. Ours rarely leaves the kitchen top since it’s used nearly every meal in some way.
Love it use it daily now to prep almost everything. When you first purchase those make sure to properly maybe even soak the inside with soapy water as it has that new smell which can transfer onto the foods you prepare. So easy to use and clean it’s so much more better than wasting oil to fry chips and nuggets or put on the oven and wait agess for food to cook.
This is an absolute gem of a product! We generally love fried food, and this air fryer does a fantastic job for all types of foods, it’s quick, easy and safe to use. Best of all, the fried food is healthy as it uses next to no oil.
Very easy to clean either by hand or pop into the dishwasher.

We were cautious in deciding to purchase a Air Fryer as there are so many on the market, but after a lot of research we decided to purchase the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer, and what a great decision this Fryer is without doubt the best, its simple and easy to use and the frying and cooking result is something else, so if you are thinking of buying a Air Fryer this is the one to have.
You won’t be disappointed brilliant ! Loved the two drawers and being able to time everything to finish at same time without faff would recommend!
Love this air fryer. It is brilliant for doing 2 things at a time eg sausages in one basket and chips in the other. You can set each basket individually which is great if they have different cooking times, higher temp etc. You can even bake cakes in it! Comes with recipe book. It is easy to clean by hand unlike some other air fryers we have owned. Highly recommend this quality bit of kit. Every kitchen should have one!
Brilliant- cooks food quickly and perfectly
I bought this as a short term solution to my oven breaking during lockdown. I never owned a traditional deep fat fryer and to be honest had never heard of an air fryer until fairly recently but I am totally converted. This is so easy to use and clean and best of all there is no smell (as the only veggie living with a family of meat eaters this really helps)

It is fabulous
This is amazing, I love it. Still learning with different times and temperatures etc …. it is easy to clean , not so many scorched oven episodes. It is not fast food , if that is what you feel you need you will probably be a bit disappointed because it is not an alternative for a wok or frying pan. The recipe book is not that great and I have not bothered to buy one ,I just google ! The dual , I personally like , no need to keep the chips warm and I also use my own judgment regarding if I add a little oil or not .
Make your oven obsolete...
It does just what you would expect if you read the info.
The drawers look restrictive but a medium size chicken fits in fairly well. So easy to check what’s going on.
The crisping function works really well. It seems to both crisp and wring that last bit of fat out of the meat. Usually chicken or turkey in my case.
Syncing your cooking is a handy function too. Although in practice its always a good idea to rest your meat before it is served. Spuds really don’t need to sit around…
I love my ninja I have used almost every day since it arrived. We have done all sorts in it and it’s great knowing it’s a healthier way to cook using less fat. The fact it has two drawers means you can have different things in at the same time and you can sync the timing. Looking at getting another ninja to cook whole a whole chicken now though!

Great choice- my first air frye
I’ve been debating over getting an air fryer forever. After reading thousands of reviews I finally decided on this one and I’m so pleased with it! It’s so easy to use especially if you have never owned an air fryer before. Simple buttons and instructions make cooking very easy and it’s super quick to clean. Chips are great and starting to look at different recipes to try. The fact you don’t even need to use oil is a great health benefit and it also uses much less electricity than putting the main oven on so that’s a bonus. Overall I’m really pleased with my purchase. Only thing I’d say is it’s a lot bigger than you imagine and the flex length is pretty short so think about where you will be using and storing it.
Great cooking item
I have been looking for one of these for a while but found the fryer sold out everywhere. Finally I was able to buy one on this Amazon Cooks everything to perfection once you have got the hang of the timings. Easy to clean and fits nicely in the corner of my kitchen. Cooked a whole chicken in it last weekend. It was really fast . Lovely crispy skin with nice moist meat. Not baked in it yet but that will be some thing to try out at some point.
I rarely use my large electric oven any more!
This is great for roasting & air frying very quickly. It takes 3 minutes to heat up, open & insert your food. The fan stops automatically when you open it & restarts when it’s shut. Very little, if any, oil required and all food I’ve tried has cooked faster than a conventional oven.
To clean, simply discard excess oil into the bin & wash the basket with soapy water in about 1 minute! No back-breaking bending to get to the back of the oven!
Suitable for 1-2 people, large families would require a bigger cooking basket.
Delicious food faster – gets my vote!
Originally bought this so I could quickly cook what the kids wanted during lockdown. It seemed overkill to heat a whole oven for a tray of chicken nuggets so using the air fryer for 10 minutes instead of 25 minutes in the oven achieved that goal. Since buying it though, I’ve really expanded my cooking portfolio. I typically roast a chicken to a better standard than in the oven in 50 minutes, so we have a meal of roast chicken. Then with the leftovers we have a chicken curry (not in the air fryer). I also cook jacket potatoes more often – rolled in olive oil and garlic salt, no need to fork it or foil it, just give the pot a rustle every 15 mins to fully cooked at 45 minutes. Cooks to the darkest brown and more delicious then in the oven as well as quicker. it cooks smoked bacon to fat charred perfection. Peri Peri Chips out of the freezer taste like nandos fries in about 10 minutes. I am sure there is more I will do with it, but hopefully this inspires anyone thinking of investing in one – just make sure to leave room around it as it gets quite hot cooking.
Great quality and excellent functions
Another great flyer from Ninja. This is particularly good if like me you have limited space in the kitchen. Small footprint and tall profile. My favourite function is the air frier , I can make pretty much everything on that setting. But reheat and roast are also very useful. I’ve ditched the microwave and haven’t got much use for my gas stove either anymore. 5/5

This is our first air fryer. Quite a few of my friends had told me that they loved their air fryer so after a bit of market research we chose the Ninja because of its large basket (we are a family of 5), ease of use, and it’s easy cleaning.
It cooks food in about 75% of the stated time on a packet. Eg. If the packet says oven cook in 20 minutes, this cooks it in 15 minutes. That’s great, but what’s greater is that there is no warm up time. So that 15 minutes cooking time is probably half the time compared to the oven as it would take a while for an oven to warm up.
We have cooked stuffing balls in 8 minutes, chicken nuggets in 8 minutes and cinnamon buns in about 9 minutes. Washing up is one large bowl and the tray at the bottom. Easy.
Simple, easy and quick to wash
Quick and simple, much easier than a conventional oven! Roasting potatoes, parsnips, carrots or any other veg cuts the time in half and crisps much better too! I just have to check halfway, give it a quick toss and back in. Cleaning is also much easier too.
Making chicken katsu with Panko breadcrumbs is so much easier and quicker too!
Dicing some stale bread also makes for great croutons for salads. The possibilities are endless but best of all, easier to wash!
SUPERB QUALITY AND WORKS WELL.FAR BETTER THAN MY PREVIOUD AIR FRYER WHICH ONLY HAD 1 BASKET. I GOT IT AT AN AMAZING BARGAIN PRICE TOO. I HAD TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY BUT THAT WAS FINE AS I WAS KEPT UP TO DATE ABOUT DELIVERY AND IT ACTUALLY ARRIVED EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PIECE OF KITCHEN WARE!

I bought this to replace a 4-year-old Duronic air fryer. This gave great service and, if there was a larger version, I would have stayed with Duronic. I went for Ninja after being impressed with my Shark vacuum cleaner. Shark and Ninja are the same company. It took a while to get used to but I am now very impressed with it, It is easy to clean apart from removing the trivet whilst still hot. I have a burn on my forearm to remind me. I solved this problem by fitting a keyring which enables me to get some leverage under it to remove. A bit like me: simple but effective.
To date no problems. I am able to handle much bigger portions of food and even roasted a beef joint very successfully. Also toasted sandwiches which are a nice addition to mid-day lunch. As is my custom,. I shall update if there are any problems but, to date, I am quietly impressed with my Ninja.
Love this Ninja product the 2 drawers really help when cooking . You can cook almost anything in it the only downside is having to turn the food but even so still think it is fab. Expensive but well worth the money, very impressed.

Superb Build Quality,Very easy to clean,Very easy to use and it is a very quiet machine compared to other machines that I have used.I would totally recommend this machine.I recently Cooked a Leg of Lamb in it along with Potatoes and veggies and I have to say that the final result was superb..no more slaving over a Hot Oven and juggling pots and Pans.TheNinja really makes cooking a breeze and the food is fat and grease free.If I could have given it 10 Stars I would have done.Thank you Ninja from one very happy Customer.
I don’t normally cook but this has made it easy for me. I used to hate the cooking time needed but this really has cut down the time for me. I like that I can roast and fry things in it. You have to get used to getting the temperature and length of time to cook right. I have had quite a few crispy chickens. I’ve made loads of health snacks like sweet potato fries and it actually comes out well.
I can honestly say that it has reduced my cooking and cleaning duration greatly and I use it almost every day now. My only downside is that I would avoid putting it on and walking away cause you can easily over cook your food.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.
Just buy this!
Our old Tefal actifry broke and we spent a lot of time researching for a replacement. So pleased that we bought the Ninja Airfry Max, it’s been used every day since it arrived, including making our roast potatoes on Christmas Day. It’s so easy to use and I’m blown away by its versatility. Great results. Definitely worth the money and have recommended to family and friends.

Really pleased with this purchase. Instructions easy to follow. I have cooked pork chops , chicken portions, fish and veg and all turned out really nice and healthier. Also it makes amazing chips using just a tablespoon of oil. The ninja looks good and is very easy to clean. The parts are dishwasher safe.

everything I have cooked so far has come out amazing – I’m very impressed with how easy to use it is – I had an air fryer before which was much cheaper and this knocks the socks off that one!

Absolutely love this. Wish I’d bought it ages ago. Hardly use my main oven. Brilliant for busy families as can cook smaller meals more economically. So quick and easy to use. Love the options of matching and syncing. The food tastes so much better (and my boys agree) Absolutely brilliant for heating up leftovers like Sundays roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings as though freshly cooked in just 6 minutes. Up to half the cooking time. English breakfast? Sausage, bacon, black pudding, hash browns. A doddle. Pastries? Lush. Chios, breaded fish/chicken. Easy Peasy.
Love it!!
When I purchased my Ninja AF100UK air fryer, I fully expected that I would be using it to cook a few chips a little more healthily. How wrong I was. Yes the chips are excellent but so are many other things.
Steak is incredible, because you are cooking from the outside in, it tasted as good as any steak I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I have even cooked a 1.5 kg chicken in it. I put a little oil over the chicken, used my usual seasoning and cooked it for 50 minutes breast side down, turned it over and cooked it for a further 10 minutes, it tasted as if it had been spit roasted. I am a keen cook and have really enjoyed experimenting. Roasted chickpeas, part baked bread, bacon and sausages, toasted sandwiches and so much more. Anything you can cook in an oven or under a grill, you can cook in an AF but you need to check the times, AF cook a little more quickly and use a meat thermometer to check internal temperatures. This trendy little gadget is brilliant. We are a retired couple and find it a perfect size for the two of us.
Best appliance i have bought for years. Cooks so quickly and you don’t need towait for the oven to heat… I buy small size pizzas and oven meals that will fit (sometimes need to turn up the edges of the tin foil trays and bought two sets of tongs to lift them out… Roast dinners now are so easy with this and a steamer (two of us but could cook for 4 easy enough).. well worth it the two compartments are really handy. And yes it’s healthier!
Now we're ALL expert cooks....
Want to make the household cook redundant? Then bring in the Ninja. She, he, or it, can serve it all up speedily and cleanly– and without any fuss or bother (or argument) almost as quick as it takes to get a traditional oven warming up.
Now, if you REALLY want to hear the open sizzle and smell of bacon cooking, or the cloud forming in its own oil from the sausages etc etc. then good luck to you. We’re sticking to the two drawers opening in unison (yes, they can be timed to do so) and delivering the same, or better, as you wait by the cooker rings.
My wife and I have looked at these for a while and the decision to purchase came after once again having to clean the deep fat fryer and dispose of a large quantity of old oil. There are only two of us to cook for most of the time so huge capacity is not needed and apart from the cleaning time having to wait for about 4 litres of oil to heat when only wanting to cook a few chips seems a waste of time as well as a waste of electricity.
We have used Ninja items before so thought the quality would be OK and we were right. This seems a well made item. It is very easy to use with the controls on the touch panel and has plenty of capacity for anything we want and more. Compared with deep fat frying it is amazing. Heat up time is massively reduced. Cooking time is similar and clean up time is a quick wash with warm water plus wash up liquid and job done. The food is at least as good as deep fat fried and sometimes better and we are not contributing to all the problems associated with fat build up blocking sewerage systems.
It is not a total replacement for the deep fat fryer and still looking at successfully cooking some items but not being able to easily cook our prawn crackers and popadoms is not really a major failing.
It’s not often we can say we love the product and are helping the environment.
If my review helps your buying decision please click the helpful button so I know I am not wasting my time. Thanks.
This Ninja dual zone is brilliant. It is versatile, fast and easy to use. It is a brilliant way of cooking different meals at the same time. My partner is a meat eater and I am vegetarian so it is possible to keep one zone absolutely untainted by meat products. It cooks much faster than a normal oven but the food is just as tasty, not bland like microwaved food. I absolutely love it. Very easy to washup too and looks really classy in the kitche
Perfect for a couple of people. Steaks, scampi, roast pots are cooked perfectly and mostly without cooking oils.
Even a M&S toad in the hole was perfect.
Experiment is the key and you can also check if the cooking is good by opening one of the two draws.
This machine has transformed the way I cook food ,its so easy. The settings are easy to understand (even for oldies like us) and we have always been in control of the cooking times. Ideal for 1 or 2 people portions. Worth 10 stars ,if you are thinking of buying Don’t hesitate.

Great kitchen appliance
Bumped in this product while browsing amazon for inspiration – fast and good delivery. Tried to cook nearly everything with it – always fast, tasty and no smell in the kitchen, it warms during the cooking process, but leaving on the counter during the process is absolutely fine. Steaks are absolutely amazing, soo jusy. Even cooked popcorn (with no oil added!). Just amazing, though be careful with max fry regime – most of the foods don`t need it. Haven`t tried dehydration yet. Easily washed in the dishwasher, and very quiet when performing.
Absolutely charmed with i

This was a new machine and not too many reviews for us to watch.
However, our Philips machine was over eight years old so we decided to buy this and replace our old faithful.
It arrived this week and we have been testing the different functions. This is a lot more than an Air Fryer. The crisp function is excellent. The dual compartments work brilliantly (and can be timed to finish together).
Overall this is a fantastic machine, great price. 10/10

Unit arrived ok earlier than expected, its on the kitchen counter ready to be use washed out etc.
Looking at it it seems well made,, but is let down by a pathetically short mains lead.
Considering this, I would have thought that this shortcoming, would have been factored in.
Will update after using,!
A great addition to any kitchen...
This item is great, very convenient to use.
It is simple to clean, all the ‘spatter’ is easy to deal with. The colour, plus flavour of the food is perfectly retained, using less oil, so healthy … it is win-win! My only problem is why I didn’t buy one earlier.

works for me
I’d never used an air fryer before so I decided to give it a go and bought this one. Buyers should be aware that the cooking part is small, I would say only big enough if cooking for one, neverthless, it’s perfect for my needs and is a lot quicker, and probably healthier, than cooking food in the oven. So as I said, it works for me!

We had a Tefal Actifry but after a couple of years that completely gave up the ghost. The reason why we bought an Actifry was due to the paddle, but we always felt there was something “off” about it. It didn’t feel very well built, the paddle broke after about a year and the fit between the lid and body was poor, so a lot of hot air escaped. It was also quite noisy.
After a couple of years of light/moderate use the heater element completely burned out so we got rid and decided to go for a non-paddle air fryer.
Having seen the reviews of Tefal’s – again a lot of citing poor build quality, we looked for another brand and happened across the Ninja air fryer. Persuaded by the very favourable reviews we decided to get one. A wise choice!
Now obviously the major difference between the Actifry and the Ninja is that the Ninja doesn’t have a paddle, which means that food needs to be shaken to ensure even cooking – no big deal.
First impressions when we received it was that the build quality in comparison to the Actifry is night and day. The Ninja feels so much more solid. The pan and crisper plate are ceramic coated rather than Teflon, which also lends itself to a higher quality feel. The machine itself is much quieter in operation and the temperature controls are also very welcome – something that was very much missing from our Actifry. Also very welcome are the 4 cooking options – air fry, roast, dehydrate and reheat. So far we’ve only used the air fry function but we’ll definitely be trying the others at some point.
Cooking results so far have been excellent – we have cooked frozen chips, baby potatoes and fresh cut chips (yes we like our potatoes). What amazes me is the speed at which this thing cooks. With the Actifry it would take around 40 minutes to cook fresh cut chips, and even then they may need a little longer. With the Ninja we found that fresh cut chips took around 25 minutes – or 30 minutes if we wanted them extra crisp. It is far quieter than the Actifry and clean up is also much easier, as there are less items to clean – only the pan and crisper plate in comparison to the Actifry’s lid, fan filter, pan and paddle.
I’m looking forward to trying different foods in this that wouldn’t have been possible in the Actifry, such as baked potatoes, roasted veg, and for drying out fruit using the dehydrate function.
As you can tell, I am very impressed and given the higher build quality I am expecting to get many years’ use out of it. At first glance it may seem a bit more limited in use than the Actifry due to the lack of paddle, but in actuality this makes it more versatile as you can use it to cook more delicate foods that would otherwise have been broken up by the paddle.
Highly recommended!
Absolutely love it and use it almost daily, whether for frying bacon, cooking fish fillets or making a chicken casserole. It cooks steaks and burgers perfectly- succulent, tender and full of flavour. Sceptical at first but quickly became converted to its merits and usefulness. Very straightforward to use although initially there was a bit of trial and error with timing as the accompanying booklet was useless! Would also recommend Paul Brodel’s Hot Air Frying book as this is aimed at the UK market and really helped me broaden my recipe repertoire.
I love i
Love it ….love it ….love it .. i will never fry again.. makes everything quick and easy it took a wee while to get confident about temperature and timings but I use this everyday ..the only downside I can think of is the non stick isn’t the best .. it looks great it cooks grea
Got my Ninja air fryer yesterday unpacked it and cook our first meal today beef burger and chips for my husband and pork steak and chips for me. Have not used an appliance like this before and really pleased with our first use will try roast potatoes tomorrow. Well done Ninja a great product. we are retired and wondered how we would get on but so easy and if you are wondering if it is worth getting and if you will use your Ninja from my experience today go for it wish we had got one before
Following a diet programme and fellow members raved about air fryers, and how much healthier food can be cooked in them. I had a good look at the hundreds on the market, and for size and style I chose this baby. Brilliant purchase. I just wish I’d purchased the next model up which has two cooking compartments and slow cooks as well. But if you want an air fryer with extra little touches this is for you. The food may be healthier but my OH says the chicken and potatoes I’m cooking taste better than they ever have.

Ninja Air Fryer [AF100UK] 3.8 Litres, Grey and Black
Update: 14/10/20
I have cooked stuffed pepper, Chicken en Croute, battered cod, M&S raw meat balls from frozen – brilliant machine. Delighted that I bought it.
Have used it 3 times after receiving it yesterday. Cleaned the basket and inner tray with soapy warm water and heated the hairdryer for 3 minutes before using to cook.
Cons: Short cable, bulky, needs air vent space on top and side when working.
Pros: Easy to use, easy to clean – dish washer safe ( No rust), no plastic smell, cooks even and crisp without oil, reheat is superb, affordable (I got it for 99).
So far I have airfried breaded chicken goujons, frozen chips, reheated sausages.
Perfect flavour, crisp. Sausages were superb reheated like just cooked.
I have not tried samosas kebabs, garlic bread or baked a cake. Will update the review after trying all possible cooking options.
So far brilliant product.
So easy to use
I am still learning all the different recipes one can use in this Ninja Air Fryer
I have learned that it only take about 3 mins to bake some part baked rolls without having to pre heat
whereas in an ordinary oven it would have to be pe heated and the about ten mins to bake. so we can have
fresh rolls anytime. I would recommend this fryer it i very versatile.
Not had this long and it is great. I am very pleased with it.
However, I know why we put short cables on appliances is to protect children from pulling them off work surfaces but this cable is just too short. I have no shortage of sockets but I have had to use a block extender which is not very satisfactory in a kitchen. A 1 metre cable would have been fine. I got rather less.
It’s a amazing product. I loved every bit of it. It’s so easy to use and cooking I can’t tell you in words guys!! It’s simply superb. Worth having it in your kitchen .. x

Was tempted to buy a cheaper alternative – but already had a Ninja Coffee machine and rate it highly so thought I would get this one to match – so pleased I did – the easiest thing in the world to use – browns really well (a little too well – doesn’t need as long as you think) – very easy to clean each time you use it – no smells, no oil needed, easiest control pad ever – have used it most days since purchase for cooking a lot of foods that saves turning the oven on
Even roasted garlic in foil on top of other items – you need to keep shaking and rotating the food for even brown colour – and is just a case of pulling the tray out and shaking – makes it easy to see when the food is brown and cooked too – just add brioche buns on top of food cooking to toast for the last couple of minutes for example
Pic just shows the most basic of functions – quick cook of hash browns, from frozen in 15 minutes, no mess no fuss and no hassle – if your thinking of an air fryer don’t hesitate with this one
LIGHT TO CARRY AND EASILY STORED AND ALL THIS IN A CAMER VAN”PRECIOUS”.
I WAS A PESSIMIST ABOUT THIS MACHINE, BUT BLESS HER SHE IS ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC.
EVERYTHING ITS SAYS IS TRUE, CLEAN COOKING, EASY TO USE, DOES CATER FOR ALL TASTES AND THE TIMINGS ARE PRETTY ACCURATE. THERE IS LOADS OF SPACE TOO, EASY ENOUGH FOR A DEENT SIZED WHOLE CHICKEN.
SMOKED GARLICS AND BREADS TO DIE FOR. I CAN WITHOUT THINKING I AM HONEST IN SAYING I CAN RECCOMEND THIS MACHINE TO ANYONE. NO SMOKE AS I HAVE PREVIOUSLY READ JUST THE SMELL OF BEAUTIFUL FOOD.ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY, ITS PAID FOR ITS SELF ALREADY AS I LOVE IT!! WHAT A STAR WHAT A MACHINE AND REALLY IS HEALTHY. WELL IM NOT AS I CANT STOP COOKING. GO FOR IT!!
Best chips ever as good as fried….
1. Peel and cut your chips
2. Rinse in a bowl of water until the water is clear
3. Drain them off
4. Put back into the bowl and microwave for a few mins
5. Tip out onto a tea towel or kitchen roll and leave to steam for a bit and put the fryer on to get hot.
6. Back into the bowl and a TSP or.2 of oil and toss
7. Put in fryer and fry
8. Serve with bread and butter so you can make butties
I thought this may be another expensive mistake that ended up in the cupboard but I haven’t used my regular oven since I bought it! U can cook almost anything in it, everything is so much healthier as not smothered in fat and its as easy to clean as washing a pan. I have deducted one star simply because I find the timings suggested are a bit off and you have to adjust that through trial and error. I suppose with so many variables, this is understandable. All in all, its brilliant and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
I was hesitant to invest in this product as it was expensive in comparison to previous brand I had had (2 of!!). In saying that I was sick of buying cheap ones only lasting half a year. I decided I’d give it a try. The quality is much superior to the low price airfryers I had experienced…the frying compartment is tefal (?)coated for easy clean …. The crisping rack comes out for washing easily. The product is much sturdier and components are good quality. Fingers crossed it won’t let me down.
Let’s face it, you can buy a functioning air fryer for a third of the price, but this is in a different league if you want something you can use for a lot more than chips on a daily basis. It’s very well-built, with a ceramic non-stick lining for the cooking pan, and it’s surprisingly quiet. Though it is big and looks like something from an SUV design workshop, it doesn’t take up much space, and the size means you can make good use of its flexible temperature control and options to essentially replace your main oven for small quantities.
The photo is of butternut squash roasted with a little olive oil for 20 minutes: it’s just not worth heating your main oven for that. Once you realise its potential as a serious cooking tool, you’ll find yourself re-thinking recipes to make the most of it, and if you’re not a fan of the microwave, you can easily use it to re-heat a meal for one.
It doesn’t come with accessories, so you’d be wise to invest in some silicone-tipped tongs for turning and picking up food, and as with all new kitchen equipment, it takes a while to get used to it; if your budget stretches this far, it’s worth buying.
Great machine!
Wasn’t sure if an air fryer can compete with traditional frying and so took us a while to take the plunge and invest in one. After some research the ninja was on our top list, opting for the larger model to help save time we have not been disappointed!!
Like the instant pot this (not so little) machine may become an essential kitchen item. It gets chips with little or no oil, in fact frozen chips are probably coming out more healthier as you see the amount of oil left behind after they finish cooking. The come out crispy and tasty!
The machine is easy to use and the max crisp function certainly helps get that crunch on items that you would usually rely on a frying pan for. On top of this you know it’s more healthy! Win win!!
Only downside is the size, it’s quite big especially the larger version but if you have space or somewhere to store it’s worth it!
Kind of wish we had one of these earlier now but we are certainly using it enough to make up for lost time!
Get one!

This is in addition to my Ninja Foodi 600…absolutely a dream to use, dishwasher friendly, simple to use and I love the fact that you can synchronise each drawer so the food is all ready at the same time…..
Never use my ovens and hardly ever use my hob! This is the way to go! Well done Ninja!
Well, what a great bit of kit!
The trays are massive and the food comes out better and crisper than it’s deep fried counter part.
We have fried and dehydrated some items so far and we couldn’t been happier.
Tip, do check your food every 10 mins and give it a flip the outside can get really crispy quick!
I have given this product 5 stars would of given it another as it fits in my cupboard perfectly…..
I bought this as a present for myself after seeing advertisements. Well, I couldn’t be happier with it – I don’t even keep it in a cupboard as it’s used several times a week. What a fantastic machine! To be honest I don’t use the dehydrate feature as often as I’d thought I would, purely because of the long dehydrate time & minimal space, but I was aware of that prior to purchase. It nicely dries a couple of cut up apples in one go, but I’ve lost interest in that function now. The air fry function is a godsend – frozen sausages take less than 20 mins (fresh ones about 12 mins) with no mess, they brown beautifully too. And home-made schnitzel crisped to perfection in 10 minutes with just a spritz of oil, much healthier than traditional frying. And the heat-up function is SO much better than a microwave – for things like leftover pizza, or anything battered or breaded, it brings the food back to life rather than the stale taste you get from a microwave. Very easy to use with clear instructions. Highly recommend.
We bought this as we had moved into a smaller house with poor extraction and were getting cooking smells. Also I wanted to reduce our energy usage compared to the big oven. My wife was sceptical!
I bought the small size as we are just a couple who tend to cook from fresh and do not need a lot of food. General foods are celeriac chips, chicken breast, salmon, butternut squash, etc.
We now use it more than any other device in the kitchen and probably 5 nights a week. Salmon fillet with butternut squash for example will be 15 minutes for the squash followed by the salmon skin for 2 minutes, add the salmon for 4 minutes and then plate the salmon. Add back the butternut squash for 1 minute, plate and it is all ready and hot.
There is no smell of cooking fish and it is no harder to clean than a nonstick pan!
The only downside is that if there is a lot of steam then I have to remember to pull it forward away from the wall to stop condensation on the wall.
If this one breaks then another would be ordered instantly!
This is the first air fryer i have owned and so far ive cooked:
frozen (vegan) sausages (8-10mins)
Frozen vegan burgers (10mins)
Frozen chips (18 mins)
Frozen Vegan fish fingers (8mins)
Frozen Vegan battered fishless steak (10 mins)
Frozen Vegan sausage rolls (15mins, on a bake setting)
This machine has halved the cooking time for these things to have cooked in an oven. Also needed no oil for any of the frozen stuff.
I am so far happy with the machine. Its easy to clean, fits in enough food, although i think a square basket rather than a round one would have been better. It doesnt make too much noise and looks nice and sleek in my kitchen.
Easy to clean!
I bought this product for my mother during th xmas holidays. Since I was staying over and we were expecting guests, i decided to use it on Christmas day. The airfryer was an absolute pleasure to use! Extremely easy to use and the manual was very clear. There are no wirey baskets to scrub, the cleaning process was a breeze. Any hard bits that wasnt easy to take off would be soaked in warm water for a few minutes and it came off without with difficulty.
I would definitely recommend for others to use this.
So impressed at how quickly food cooks with little or no oil to add, and retains lots of flavour. Also, when cooking fish or spicy food, there’s no lingering smells – I just put the oven extractor fan on while cooking. The insert rack is a little fiddly to remove when hot which is why I have 4stars for ease of use, but I bought this fryer for the ceramic rack as others are just Teflon coated aluminium and scratch easily. This one is sturdy, non-stick and easy to clean.
Amazing product.. I read all reviews before buying. I researched all types of airfryers. I am ridiculously happy with my choice. There were comments about a plastic smell which nearly made me not choose this product. They are not true in my case. Maybe they forgot to remove packaging from food. I use every day. Ive done chips. Meat including steak.. Burgers.. Sausages.. And even a cake.. I have a Phillip’s convec oven. Now i choose the ninja for efficient beautiful results.
I love this product. After buying a Pressure Cooker I felt I needed something else in my life that made food tastier and healthier. Enter the Ninja.
I’ve cooked various things and I find that where possible bake things first and then air fry to crisp up. Works a treat. The breadcrumb effect is wonderful for so many things and I’m enjoying eating homemade air fried schnitzel, chicken, and fish. The homemade chips are devine and come out perfectly crisp every time. If your short on time throw a jacket potato in the microwave and air fry it for a crisp exterior.
If you’re looking for a new kitchen gadget and want to have the crispy crunch of deep fried food without the deep fried smell and added calories this is the machine for you.
The great thing about a ninja product is that they’re well built and reliable. This isn’t any different and is a solid price of machine. When you open the drawer to shake or check on the food it stops and restarts when the drawer is replaced. Cleaning is super easy and it fits nicely away in my cupboards. I’d recommend to anyone.
The 3.8 litre is perfect for my family of three but I think 4+ would need the next size up.
Another brilliant Ninja product - love it!
Was in the market for an air fryer so after having done some research plumped for the Ninja. I have had a Ninja food chopper for some time now and it has always been reliable. The fryer like the chopper is robustly built and very simple to use and clean. I can honestly say I have used it every day since it has arrived, I did some lovely tandoori chicken in it! I have now removed my trusty George Foreman grill from the worktop for now as this machine seems to be able perform all the same functions and more as well as having a smaller footprint.
Highly recommended.

This thing is a BEAST! Bought because or old one was lost in a house fire so we took the chance and upgraded. We had the 3.6kg model that cooks everything really well including steaks, pork chops and every veg we’ve thrown in there. Frozen chicken nuggets, bang no problem 12 minutes and your done. Frozen potatoes waffles, alphabytes, chicken drum sticks whoosh 15 minutes and they done. Only down side to the machine is you can’t detach the ceramic bowl so it’s just a quick swill with warm soapy water and it’s ready to go. Ive made beef jerky with it and dehydrated apple and banana pieces which are divine! Super simple to use and twice as fast as our oven and older machine. Wish I had bought the bigger one now!
I bought this after seeing a YouTube video review. It’s a beast. You can cook frozen chips in it and they come out so crispy, hell you can put just about anything in it and it comes out delicious. It’s not that big though. You can make enough food for two people but definitely no more than that.
Easy to clean as you just lift the metal plate out in the bottom of it and solid build, which the Ninja brand is well known for. Also very simple to use and quick to heat up.
We had a Philips air fryer before we upgraded .. I must say it’s one of the best things I have purchased all year. You can cook so many different foods in it.. also when the kids would like chicken nuggets or chips, it takes very little time to hear up and cook. I have cooked the kids a meal in under 10 minutes..
You will not be disappointed with your purchase.. trust me .
Love it! The tastiest healthiest chips in 20 mins. Also did the kids their favourite of chicken nuggets and potato waffles in 20 minutes. Nice and crispy, no grease, wish I’d bought it ages ago. Next to try chicken and some broccoli in i
Excellent Air Fryer, quick and quiet.
Excellent air fryer. I had the the Philips one before and it was fast but with a mesh basket that was hard to clean. The Morphy Richards one I had after was easier to clean but was a bit noisy and not very quick with the cooking. This Ninja one is quiter, fast cooking and good crops results. Not tried the roasting option yet and I probably won’t use the dehydrate option as 5 to 8 hours for that is a bit long to have it on for. But so far as an Air fryer this is superb!
Decent size for family cooking. Good for chips and sweet potato fries. So easy for sausages and bacon which usually cause a greasy mess. Handy for reheating food such as pizza. So easy to clean, just wipe out the bowl and go. It’s also not too bulky so I just leave it out on the hob
With teenage sons, I refused to buy a deep fat fryer, I bought this as an alternative. The best decision, so quick and easy to use, far more efficient and much faster than doing chips etc in the oven. The boys use it for everything, it’s paid for itself already! Have also used to roast baby potatoes, a success. You always worry that things like this will end up in the cupboard, rarely used, not this.
I was planning on buying an air fryer for some time and after a lot of research, decided on ninja. It is just fantastic! Easy to use, no preheating necessary, cooks fries from frozen in less than 10 minutes. Large Basket, Digital controls. Lightweight but durable and very easy to clean. I suggest cleaning it straight after each use to keep it in the best condition. Highly recommended. If you’re looking for an air fryer you won’t be disappointed.
I have one of the first models of Philips Airfryer and have had it for several years now. After the microwave and kettle it is the appliance I use the most. Yes it’s great for making french fries with barely any oil, but it’s also fantastic for heating and crisping up anything frozen like breadrolls, pies, frozen chicken, hamburges patties, sausages etc. The beauty of the air fryer is that becuase it has a very large element, a small cooking area and a powerful fan, it heats up incredibly quickly. Frozen foods are cooked in half the suggested time. And no waiting for 20 minutes for the oven to warm up. 2-3 minutes and the air fryer is pre-heated. It’s a must for singles who only need to cook small amounts as well as for families where you can do a portion of fries in one go. I defrost frozen rolls in the microwave for 30 seconds and then pop them in the airfryer for 5 minutes and they’re perfect.
My top tip is to make sure you have good ventilation. I use mine placed on top of a breadboard on the cooker with the extractor fan on. The high heat blows out air saturated with oil and smoke which you dont want in the kitchen. So forget the glossy pictures of using it on a counter top. Especially if you are making fries.
So how does this Ninja Air Fryer compare to the Philips?
Well inside the parts look almost identical. The only major differences are:
The Ninja has a digital display and buttons rather than a manual temperature dial and a timer dial.
The Ninja has a wider temperature range and goes up to 210 degrees celsius (max temp for Philips is 200)
The Ninja has an extra setting for dehydrating fruits and vegetables or making jerky.
The most noticeable difference is the frying basket. The ninjas basket is round (which is great as it is much easier to clean than the Philips which is square with ridges) and it has an insert to lift food from the bottom whereas the Philips has a basket that lifts out with a mesh bottom. There are pros and cons to the Ninja design. It’s much easier to clean but the insert has wider slots in it and smaller fries can fall through the holes or get stuck in it.
The other difference is when you open the fryer to check on the cooking progress the Ninja automatically stops and starts again once the basket is put back whereas the Philips just keeps on going.
They both have the same wattage (around 1500 watts)
Ninja has slightly larger capacity 900g fries versus 800g for the original Philips.
The Ninja is competitively priced but the original model Philips is also more affordable now that larger and digital models have come out. At time of writing this review the Ninja was coming out cheapest though.
In terms of performance they are identical. Philips maybe has a very slight edge on getting things crispier due to better airflow because of the mesh basket but that also makes it more difficult to clean.
Whats in the box:
The airfryer with UK plug
Instruction booklet and recipe booklet
All in all, if you don’t have an airfryer yet, get one. This is a great one to start with.
