Does exactly what it states
Takes a while to discover the little bits, but very good
Important purchase in current times
Had it for two weeks now and after purchasing (vital!) a Ninja Foodi cookbook am now getting the best out of the machine. Made a full roast chicken dinner yesterday in an hour and it was delicious! Chips are easy and take 12 minutes. My oven is likely to become obsolete.
Need Time to get used to cooking whole meals
Haven’t had it long so still getting to grips with all the functions, PC great for stews, air fry function brilliant, Have made 1 cake so far & turned out lovely, haven’t done bread yet but can’t wait to try.
So good so far.
I’m cooking everything in sight. Totally recommend watching the YouTube videos for lots more inspiration and ideas.
I was worried when I purchased this that it would be too gimmicky and not easy to use
How wrong I was!!!
The controls are really intuitive and there are so many recipes available online that you can’t go wrong.
Wedges are delicious. Chicken is tender, juicy and crispy all at the same time! How does it do that! (I’ll tell you, the steam/airfry setting).
I haven’t pressure cooked with it yet, but I love it. Have accessories on my wish list as I want to do more!
The non stick coating is really non stick and easy to clean.
And .. it’s cheaper than using the oven!
Winner all round 🙂
I have used all setting including the pressure cooker and everything has cooked perfectly including a whole chicken. It’s very easy to clean which is a distinct advantage. You have to be careful when removing the basket as there’s not a lot of room for oven gloves when lifting the hot basket out from the cooker but I’m sure I’ll find a way round that. I’m sure it will be a kitchen (gadget) that will get a lot of use with energy prices as they are.
Have been using the Ninja 7:1 for a couple of years – very quick became an indispensable item in my kitchen.
I purchased the 15:1 for the extra features (will pass on the older model to a family member) – The 15:1 offers the temperature probe – which I did not think I needed by – this model was 50 cheaper on Amazon than the 14:1. Quickly learned that the Temperature Probe is more than a nice to have.
Steam Baking & Steam Roast are an excellent additional features – perfect Cakes, Bread and roasts ever time.
In addition to the ease of use & excellent results you have the extra benefit of lower energy costs.
We bought this as we had no kitchen during a refit- it’s marvellous does everything you can imagine from baking cakes to frying chips. We now have a full kitchen but still use this versatile kitchen aid it’s quick to cook and therefore economical .
Had it for a few months now and it’s great!
Get one.. anything that makes you good is worth the money! Seriously though it’s great with its 3 modes, cooks great roasts. Just wish it was a little bigger.
We like this ninja foodi max, but it does take a bit of getting used to. There doesn’t seem to be any decent cook books to buy for it either. We’ve found the best thing to do is find recipes, or “how to” info on the Internet.
Ve also found that if you put food directly onto the shelves, you must remember to spray them with oil or butter first, otherwise they are difficult to clean, mainly round the handles.
Apart from that, we love it. Still learning, but we’ll get there in the end.
If you don’t eat big meals you could easily get rid of you cooker this unit is ideal to cook two medium meals in or three small meals all at the same time and the food is cooked excellently
The Ninja foodi has been on my wishlist forever, I happened to be gifted Amazon vouchers and bit the bullet and got the 14-in-1, Max. When it arrived I was surprised by how heavy the machine was. For a petite person, it is a lot of heavy lifting. The OL650UK model comes with 3 modes and 11 functions. I’ve yet to try every single one out but so far have been impressed with the pressure cooker, steam and air fry modes. It is easy to use out of the box but took me some time to get the guesswork out.
The search online, YouTube was limited to demos, but it’s all trial and error. The very first thing I cooked was pasta and chicken. The metal dividers help organised the food to be cooked, the Ninja Foodi 14-in-1 has a large capacity of 7.5 L, which can fit medium-sized chickens. At the bottom, I placed uncooked pasta, sauce and a top-tier metal tray stuck with two large chicken wings. On the steam, air fry mode, the pasta and chicken cooked within 30 mins. However, I suggest you lower the chicken as it was burnt on the first go.
The next thing I cooked was a whole roast chicken and potatoes. I cooked the chicken first on steam, air fry mode again. The machine pre-cooks and countdown on the display. The smart lid alerts you when you need to give things a shake. My roast chicken was spectacular, juicy on the inside and crispy skin on the outside. I had crispy roast potatoes in no time on the air fry mode.
I didn’t have much luck with homemade chips, using the pressure cooker mode to make the potatoes softer for 5 minutes was too much and when it came to air-fry it looked like one big mush.
I found frozen scampi and chips easy to throw together for the toddler, throwing everything in the crisp basket and on air-fry for a quick meal.
The crispy pork belly was a success, PC for 5 mins and then air-fry for 20 mins. The meat was juicy and tender.
What I love about the smart lid is that the on-screen display prompts let you know when it’s safe to open the lid. The value for natural and quick release is only needed during the PC mode.
As mentioned it takes a lot of trial and error to get the correct settings for cooking, but I just love the ease of using the Ninja Foodi and look forward to experimenting. Clean-up is easy, scrubbing down the ceramic pot, and steaming the lid once in a blue moon.
I have hardly used my oven since buying this! Was ideal in the hot weather. I think this gives off less heat compared to oven. So versatile and so much quicker!!
Has a stir reminder too half way through your timer. Glad I got one
I cannot say too much about this due to it’s still awaiting its ‘maiden voyage’. That said, it truly does look ‘the dogs’ and the instructions suggest it shouldn’t be too difficult. We think that it’s going to be of benefit, with the energy costs about to soar.
I’ve no doubt it’ll be a good buy.
Read all instructions
Takes a lot of getting used to but a good machine
Very efficient way of cooking. No need to use your expensive to run oven.
Easy to use and cooks in a fraction of the time than a conventional fan oven.
Amazing air fryer. I just need time to get used to some recipes that work for me
A few people had told me how great this gadget was so I eventually succumbed and decided to buy one. The reason for purchasing was that we were looking for a way of cooking food without heating up the kitchen given the heat wave that we are currently experiencing, the rising cost of energy was also a factor. I am still getting to grips with functionality and plan to invest in a cookbook. I do think that it should come with a book rather than the three leaflets which you always end up flicking between.
The device is well made and relatively easy to clean.
So far I have found meat to be the best item to cook in the device, it retains its moisture very well. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.
This is a brilliant bit of kit to have in the kitchen. It has a lot of different functions, it works as a slow cooker, pressure cooker, air fryer. You can steam, air fry, cook, dehydrate and prove bread in this. I have not used all of the functions yet but I have tried a fair few of them. It is easy to use, it has a large digital display from which you can easily see how much longer you have left on the cooking time.
The only downside is that it is heavy but it doesn’t bother me too much!
Great device, tricky to serve food from if you use the racks. Very heavy and amazing build quality. Biggest concern was that the box doesnt match the product, it comes in a 12 in 1 box, which is isnt, this was really confusing when recieved
Very well packed, looks very well made with a quality feel to the whole thing. Initial thoughts after reading through the manual was that it all looks really complicated, but actually – it isn’t! Lots of “DO NOT” instructions most of which are just common sense, but read them carefully just the same. First to be baked was a cake, which turned out way better than using our gas oven. Then a frozen Cornish pasty which took 50 minutes at 180C and was perfect. Then air fried fish and chips and wow – frozen chips never tasted that good! We’re really looking forward to a whole range of recipes, and I’m pretty sure the cooker will be pretty much redundant once we’ve learned all the things we can cook in the Ninja. I hope to be able to post an update in a few months time.
Worthy buy
Have forgotten about my oven. So easy to use and I love that I can prepare a complete meal in under 30mins!
Quicker than air frye
My daughter suggested i get one last year but i still had air fryer, then i bought my ninja last month Best thing, a lot quicker than air fryer and hotter. And more versatile
Great product but takes some time to get the hang of i
Great product.
Takes some time to get the hang of it, but it is very versatile and very easy to clean.
Design and versatility.
Beautiful design and size. Very easy to clean. Extremely useful for small families as one can make meals and dessert easily and without any effort.
Only one lid!!
Loved having only 1 lid, have upgraded from previous ninja with 2 lids, really like the steam a whole meal function, but slow to get up to pressure and release. Apart from that completely recommended
Great produc
Great product! Hope it will last long, air crispy chicken and chips are delicious!
Easy to use.
I have tried several recipes and they have not disappointed so far. Enjoying trying out the different functions and getting used to cooking in it. A pity the recipe book that came with it has so few ideas, but I have found some great ideas on the net. The manual is very helpful for cooking times.
Love i
Wanted a Ninja Foodi for ages and was not disappointed, haven’t turned my oven or hob on for 10 days! Easy to use, easy to clean and delicious food
Very useful and easy to clea
As an air fryer, this product works really well, with large capacity, easy to handle and clean. But its steaming function is disappointing, and the food is not as good as that cooked in a traditional steamer.

Removing items.
This is a fabulous addition to any kitchen. The only problem I have is removing air fried chips or veg from the bottom, there is no safe way to lift out the hot crisper plate, you have to remove items using tongs.
My box says 12 in 1
Love the product and have made loads of lovely meals. A bit concerned by box says 12 in 1 though
Amazing produc
I bought this after friends telling me how good they were. Love the colour and all the bits are easy to clean. I cooked the perfect bacon it it yesterday & much better than using the over or the grill. Instructions are clear and the product is easy to use. I’m looking forward to trying out its other functions.
Very happy
Very good product and price. still learning how to use it but up to now the food I have cooked as come out great. just need good recipes book that will give me more ideas how to get the most out of using my ninja 11in 1 multi
Ninja 14 in 1
I love my ninja it is so easy to use once i got over my fear of it. Ive cooked loads in it beef joint on dehydtate amazing, pork joint best crackling ever even a simple cheese toasties tastes so much better. I havent baked bread or cakes yet.
I have all ready recommended it to other people and now they love thiers too
Its fantastic!!
I’ve had it 10 days now and love it, I am really bad at reading the instructions but I found it easy to learn how to use, there are basically 3 modes and a clear screen where you choose exactly which one you want. I’ve cooked all sorts in it now, casseroles, cakes, pork ribs. I love the air frying mode, its like putting things at the top of a hot oven, things are cooked in no time and are crispy cos they’re not soaked in fat as they would be in a frying pan so more tasty and better for you. Things are cooked better and quicker cos you’re not heating up a big oven just for one cake so I reckon by Christmas it’ll have paid for itself, its June now. Its the best kitchen invention ever!
Good food cooked quick.
We received the cooker within the time promised. We have only had it for a short time but so far the results have been very good, a roast chicken takes about 40+ minutes, fish and chips about 18 minutes, much faster and cheaper than a conventional oven and the results are very good. The only small down side we have found so far is the lid opens to the side, this can make it awkward to remove the hot air fry basket as the heating element in the lid is still very hot, it would have been better to open to the back. Otherwise a good cooker we would recommend.
Great produc
I absolutely love the Ninja multi cooker, only had it a week and have tried a few of the recipes in the booklet and I am so pleased with the results,
Quite easy to clean , did struggle a bit at first getting the silicone ring back in place after washing it but have mastered it now.
It’s very easy to use , it’s quite heavy to move from place to place ,
The power cord and plug could do with being a little longer , it would save having to move it around to be nearer to the plug socke
Versatile and high quality
We received the Ninja Foodi 14 function multi-cooker today. I already made fries and burgers using the steam-crisp technology. It came out amazing. Thereafter I made our family a beef stew using the slow cooker function with saut at the end to thicken the sauce, and it turned out great. My husband and is currently making beef jerky with the dehydration function overnight.
Packaging was perfect and the UK version has its temperature in Celsius.
I am very happy with it and am sure it will be used in our home daily in some way or another as it is very versatile.
Ninja Smart Lid 15 in 1 - disappointing
Whilst I’m sure most folk here think this gadget is the bees knees but I’m afraid I don’t! I already have its younger brother – the Foodi 9 in 1 – and to my mind, my existing cooker is better. The smart lid on this new machine is not weighted very well so it’s quite easy to move the machine and for the lid to shut on your hands! Imagine if you’ve just been using the crisper/air fry option and this happened, OUCH!! Also, a bit of plastic came off when I unpacked it – a tiny piece and I couldn’t see where it came from.
It is quieter than my 9 in 1 but if the rest doesn’t do anything more than my current machine, there’s little point in keeping it. I think for me I prefer the two separate lids – safer, albeit that it takes up more room though it should be easy enough to find a suitable space in a cupboard or drawer! I fear I will have to return this to Amazon! Also, the box was damaged on receipt of it.
Love love love our Ninja, worried it’s a slippery path for me, to Ninja kitchen domination tho ..
Love how diverse this is, have tried a lot of the functions and lots of experimenting needed to get it right but once you’ve worked it out, it’s fab, ie air frying veg on top rack can dry them out, better lower and keep checking, also using foil works well.
I partnered it with David Small’s book and they’re the perfect combo.
We don’t have much time for food prep so this is perfect, quick and easy, food is nicely cooked.
The pots are easy to clean and we’ve even taken it on holiday with us, we think it enjoyed the break and we certainly liked it’s contribution!
I’ve bought a steaming basket with separators to cook different items, this works well, looking forward to trying bread
I’ve got more Ninja’s on my wish list and hope that Santa comes good
Versatile cooking machine that saves energy
This is a good quality product. However it is a new way of cooking and you need motivation and persistence to continue to use it. Some recipes come out great. It cooks a whole chicken beautifully and i have very successfully made scones. I bought it to save electricity and it certainly seems to do tha
Absolutely Amazing
I bought the Ninja Foodi needing a new pressure cooker taking a risk that I would use the other functions. How totally wrong was I !!!! I have had it for just over 2 weeks and have used it every day. I am amazed at how practical and versatile it is. I have always wanted a bigger oven than I have but now I feel I have a new oven but so much more. I would thoroughly recommend.
Best cooking device I’ve ever bough
This is quite simply brilliant and it does everything. Best roast potatoes I’ve ever had and the pressure cooker setting is like having my late nanas Sunday dinner with the veg. Utterly brilliant and is saving a fortune on gas.
Amazing piece of equipme
I bought this for our new home. I’m impressed you dont need anything else. It does everything.
I’m so impressed I have bought one for my sister too.
For years I have (snobbishly) avoided multi-cookers ,for reasons unknown!
After the recent hike in gas and electricity prices I decided to take the plunge and buy one.
Looking at reviews of air fryers, etc, etc, I decided to buy a Ninja 15-1 Smart Lid Multi Cooker, what an absolute awesome piece of kit, it frys, pressure cooks, grills, etc,, and cooks so, so evenly.
Proofing ,and then baking a loaf of bread is an absolute doddle in the Ninja Keith steam baking it’s even better!
To roast a medium sized chicken takes 40 minutes, brisket, 1 hour to pressure cook and then roast for 20 minutes, same when making ‘pulled pork’ just brilliant and far more convenient than heating a full-sized gas/electric oven.
Chips/roast potatoes are also easy to make, with very little fat ,so healthier.
Can’t wait to use the slow cooker function too in the winter!

What a great purchase this has been.
We never realised what a boon our Ninja Foodie Max 15 to 1 would turn out to be.
It is cheaper to use than our standard fan oven, faster and simplifies the making of meals.
Well done Ninja.
This is a review of the OL650UK model – there are lots of different versions of this cooker.
As at late 2021, this unit appears to have all of the features of the top models except for the built-in thermometer probe which will automatically stop the cooking when the food reaches the desired tempreature in the middle.
First impressions on unboxing are positive – the unit looks really nice and feels premium quality and has all of the accessories you could need. It is quite bulky and heavy though – this is a unit that you need to find some spare countertop space for, somewhere it can be both used and stored, as you won’t want to be lifting this out of its storage space each time you use it.
This brings me on to a practial point – you need clearance for the lid to hinge open – I found I had clearance in my utility, but not in my kitchen. This works fine for me, as most of the cooking that I do with the device is kind of ‘set it and forget it’ cooking and the unit beeps when it’s done. According to my measurements, you need about 58cm of space above your worktop for the lid to be fully opened. You’re not supposed to use this on top of your cooker, though this does appear to be just because of concerns that your conventional cooker may be hot.
So, what can this unit cook? Well, probably easier to say what it can’t cook – basically anything really large, like a large chicken/turkey, a large pizza (unless you cut it into smaller pieces before cooking), and, that’s about it. It’ll cook just about anything else. Here are a few things it’s good for (there are hundreds):
-oven heating ready-meals
-cooking oven chips
-cooking anything that you would cook in a saucepan on your hob
-grilling food (bacon, say)
-baked potatoes
-stews
-cakes
-bread
-steaming vegetables
-cooking things that you would normally deep fat fry (air frying instead)
and the list goes on and on
If you don’t have any experience with slow/pressure cookers and air fryers, this could be a steep learning curve, but the included booklets and the videos you can find on the internet really help. Decide what you want to cook and then look at the included guide to see what settings and timings you should use.
I’ve only cooked a few things soo far, but all have come out of the unit really nicely cooked and really crispy (where food is meant to be).
The display and buttons make things a lot easier for choosing your cooking method, temperatures and timings. There’s a ‘keep warm’ function that will automatically keep the food warm when cooked, which is great.
I know from what I’ve read and what friends have said, that Ninja products are high-end and well thought of, albeit with a price to match.
I can see myself using this item several times a week, and my conventional oven being rarely used. I’m impressed with it and don’t have any complaints. It’s the Swiss Army Knife of modern cooking devices. Just make sure you have a place for it to be both stored and used!

My life is so much simpler now
Imagine this. You need to cook 36 pieces of bacon? No problem. Just roll them up in little rolls place them in there, air fryer and cook it for 15 min.
Nice, crispy outside, soft inside, no mess no nothing. It’s perfect and I believe anyone will find it very useful and very liberating.
Really great piece of ki
I purchase this after looking at it on youtube how versatile it was also there was a 50 discount:I wasnt disappointed.one of the reason I purchased it was the time saving and the cooking times are half the time of a conventional oven and due to electricity prices this was a bonus,I have used if quite a bit since I’ve had it and I must say really satisfied with it,money well spent.
Amazing product. Does what it says on the ti
Got rid of my InstantPot electric pressure cooker, which was ok, not saying it was not, but still restricted as far as the actifry element, so still needed anotherr appliance and replaced it with this 14 in 1 Ninja Foodi Smart lid, which does most of, well most of what I would physically use on the InstantPot, so it was the best decision made.
Although yet to work through my huge pile of cuisines recipes i have, what I have done and tasted to date, has been amazing.
It’s very quick, very easy, very simple once you get the gist of it with regards to cooking times and temperatures. It really cuts down on a lot of actual cooking time, when life gets busy at times, and makes feeding a growing family an absolute joy and not a chore.
I would however advise on cutting out the trawling through the manuals, apart from the intial setting up of course, and stick to the YouTube videos, as it is a lot quicker to get started, explains it clearer, and you can see what they are doing, the results and get tips and opinions you wouldn’t necessarily get from printed brochures.
My only niggles is, it is a lot larger than my previous InstantPot, so sucks up a bit of counter space if you have had a smaller product before and do not have a lot of counter.
It the soace internally is quite small, so if feeding a family of 5 then a couple of cycles / rounds required, unless doing one pot soups and stews, but its quick so it’s not an issue for me
Definitely would recommend, and have, and have only seen smiling faces and gratificatio
There is no getting away from the fact that this thing is huge and heavy. But with that you get a cavernous cooking pot that you can rustle up a whole family meal in, including whole chicken or large joints of meat.
It’s very well built, definitely premium in every sense, including the touch panel and display, obviously with a price to match of course. But it’s packed with features and you can throw out your pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker and big frying pans, because this does it all.
To get the best out it though you do need to spend some time to get acquainted with the instruction manual. Everything is actually explained really well, but there is a bit of a learning curve. It’s also best not be too ambitious to start with. Some of the cooking requires multi stage operations that can at first be overwhelming. Trust me, mistakes will happen but you learn from them. For example I air fried some runner beans instead of steaming them after pressing the wrong buttons! More of a success however was the 1Kg beef joint that I steam roasted in just over an hour. It came out perfectly cooked and tender, aided by the inbuilt temperature probe. Very impressed.
Cleaning is surprisingly easy and I do not find it noisy in operation. It will make you jump when it releases steam under pressure, be warned!
My only gripe is the lack of UK centric recipes available for this model. The supplied recipe book has only a handful and everything online is geared for the US market. I can recommend the book by David Small as a good starting point though.
So far I am impressed by this machine and it’s money well spent so far.
New ways to cook. Maybe save energy too?!
So far I’m loving this. Haven’t used my gas hob/oven since I got this.
I made 8 chicken wings on top rack, frozen chips on lower rack and corn on the cob at the base of the pan. Enough for 2 people air fried all together in 20 mins on 200C — cooked perfectly. And our electric meter dial barely moved!
This model doesn’t have specific sous vide function, but this might be overcome by setting the thermostat to required temperature manually on slow cook function.
An absolute modern kitchen essential!
We bought this to replace our old broken air fryer. And while this was a little on the expensive side I was drawn to the total multifunctional splendour of it.
Air frying: 10/10. Far better than any other air fryer I’ve used. Circulates heat much better than others so you get a more even crisping. Remember to give it the occasional shake as well.
Pressure cooking: 10/10. Not much more to say here! If you follow the instructions it’s incredibly simple!
Now this is where the Ninja really sets itself aside from others. I’m not a big fan of having to move food from one pot to another to continue cooking. Sometimes you’ll want to grill the top of something (french onion soup) or continue cooking your stew on the hob to reduce it down a little further. The Ninja does ALL of these things. You want to saute your vegetables first before adding your liquid? Use the sear/saute function and don’t waste time or energy at your hob.
Overall a fantastic gadget that gets used daily in our home. Spend the time to learn all the functions and it will pay off!
Fish from frozen and french fries prepared using an air fried function taste amazing! Juicy and succulent fish, crispy fries, soft in the inside fries prepared without a gram of fat! This is a way forward of preparing a healthy food, device anyone should invest to have and use in their kitchen. I made a roast chicken legs with baby potatoes today using a steam air fried function – cooked in 23min.! Crispy skin on the chicken and potatoes cooked perfectly, everything tasted like made on grill, but healthy way, marinated in olive oil marinade and herbs only. If you want to prepare your food quickly, healthy and tasty without mess, quickly buy one of this! My next plan is to cook a beef stew using this bad boy saving a half of the time. Mniam….:)
Great bit of ki
It does a lot of things, but I’m giving it -1 because it is cat-scaringly loud (I have an open plan house) and the online recipe sites from Ninja are honestly pretty poor (4 website clones – for SEO? – with different products / recipes for no good reason) and hard to select your product from the range.
Luxury gadget for the kitchen that has quickly become my most used item, the oven is barely used now. I think of it as a tiny fan oven that heats up instantly. Mostly use it for roasts – always spot on and tender – or quick meals for the kids. Have also done a biryani in it and baked potatoes (raw to plate in 40 minutes)
Not sure I’d buy the cheaper models as the two main draws for this were the lid doesn’t need to be changed, simply move a lever across, and the meat temperature probe. I’ve cooked roast chicken which came out nicely moist and perfectly roasted, to beef joint which I set to medium/well and it came out perfect.
Ninja’ing food is the new microwave in our house. With a busy 2 kids household it’s invaluable to quickly cook frozen food or prepare fresh quickly.
Brillia
I love this, limited space on my kitchen units so have given away my air fryer and pressure king pro as all now combined in one unit. Only used the air fryer as of yet but plan to make a chocolate cake in it tomorrow. Well worth considering if your upgrading your gadgets. Easy to use and clean, looking forward to cooking again as this is going to make the task so much easier.
Its a game change
having had cheaper air fryers in the past and liked them I thought I would invest in a newer model, this thing is fantastic, the amount of versatility you have with it is amazing. We have cooked various meals in it now and everytime they have turned out great, my only gripe is that I have wasted money in the past with cheaper fryers without the bells and whistles. absolutely recommend
ot at all as good as i expected still great but non the less... ok so first of all
So first of all the sear/saute function is pretty bad.. takes a long while to heat up and doesn’t reach all that high of temperatures
The 1-5 is as far as i care no better then 1-2 hot to warm eventually reasonable temperature is maintained but non the less it takes a while
Secondly there’s no sousvide function!
One of the most important functions is no where to be found…
I’m pretty sure the ol750uk was advertised with a sousvide function
But instead we got useless functions such as steam heating meals…
Presets which are “functions” while the aveage user should have no problem adjusting thoes twmps and times normally
Stupid design choices… -while don’t get me wrong i very much like the 1 lid design…
I don’t see why the right “handle” isn’t a handle
The instructions say should not be used to open the lid
But so far it never got all that hot for me
I do think it’s a bit of a “wasted real estate” which could’ve been used better
The condensation collection box is poorly fitted..
Seriously it constantly falls…
Poor design i have no ideal why would they make it like that
I just recommend prhaps gluing a few thin magnets to have it in place
The steaming apears a bit weak but reasonable i guess
The perssure cooking is great
The air frying is A bit louder then i’d like
But it’s reasonable again…
The lid is a bit “sharp” and unfinished…
Feels like the demand is high so the product was rushed…
Not a big deal but internally the steel is finished well other then that “smart lid metal ring”
Which is a bit sharp and roughly cut
One of the things i find most annoying is that the inner pot’s messurments are curved inwards so to speak.. (all coated with ceramics don’t get me wrong)
But why do it like that instead of punching it outwards
Which will make it easier to clean snd notice dirt/…
It’s a tiny detail but it just feels like a obvious one
Prhaps there’s a reason durability/.. but idk
Generally it’s a great device..
Very versatile compact and usefull
I do recommend
And yet there’s another issue…
Not so much the manufacturer’s fault.. but the shipping is horrible
As you can see from the pictures rhe package arrvied all banged up with scratches and holes in the cardboard
The drvice seems fine and after a bit of testing apeaes fo work ok
But i can’t be sure
I would highly recommend this ninja…its amazing. Since I’ve had it I’ve only used my oven a few times. Mainly to heat my plates! Cooks food quickly and beautifully….the functions are easy to manage, even my children use it to cook frozen nuggets etc in about 8mins. Ideal for a family of four as a whole meal can be done in one…if your family is bigger… food would need to be done in two batches as fitting more than 4 chicken breasts on one rack is not possible. This product makes the best roast potatoes ever, so crispy on tbe outside and fluffy in the middle. There is nothing you cannot cook in this ninja. Ive cooked curry’s, pasta dishes, pies, roast meats, bolegnaise, lasagna, fish, chips, bread, cakes toasted sandwiches, vegetables the list is endless. I used it every day. Meals are also cooked healthy as the crisping basket is used for chips on roast potatoes using spray olive oil so not deep fried. I love mine!
Amazing bit of ki
I had already got a ninja and wanted this new one and I was not disappointed ! it is an amazing thing, does so much more…the steam bake bread feature is a revolution …between 2 ninjas my oven or hob is rarely used.
I have yet to try all 15 functions but so far it has exceeded all my expectations.
Have had this just over a week and am very pleased with it. However the book that comes with it is very poor. It is VERY difficult to work out what function to use for certain recipes. I have also found a number of mistakes in the recipes. I have joined a couple of forums within my social media app and have found them very helpful. Within the past week or so I have very successfully tackled air fried chicken wings, air fried chips, steam roasted Ham Hock (the Crackling on that was outrageous) and steam roasted shoulder of Lamb with roast potatoes. I’m sure I will get better as I cook different things and use (and master) all the functions.

This Ninja Foodi Max 15 in 1 has to be the most useful item in the kitchen. It is so much quicker to use than heating up the oven; cleaner than using a frying pan. I particularly love the air frying and pressure cooking functions. Food cooked with the air fryer need little or no oil which has to be much healthier. Vegetables cooked under pressure are done in very little time. I would say that when you receive it and need to wash the parts be careful to take note of how the silicone sealing ring fits – we did struggle to get it back in – the notes are not that clear. I’m hopeful that using the Ninja will mean less energy being used than conventional cooking methods – which with the current energy prices will be very important indeed.
Love my Ninja
I love this machine. I was worried about the size but it’s not as big as was listed on Amazon, check the Ninja website for more accurate size.
I have slow cooked, air fryer, steam cooked then air fryer and pressure cooked. It does everything brilliantly. I have not used my over since I got it.
I have now been introduced to a new way of cooking and it’s fantastic! Air fried chips and baked potatoes are fabulous and I’ve also used the sear and saut and slow cooker functions and they worked brilliant. I’m looking forward to putting it to the test on other features too. It’s easy to clean and so much quicker than using the oven so I’m saving a fortune on electric. I now stop and think before cooking to see what I can do in it and so far everything has been superb. Really pleased I took the plunge and bought one. The only slight negative is the recipe book that comes with it – not very informative- doesn’t even mention how you bake potatoes in the air fryer so I’m Googling anything I need to know – so that could be better.
Fantastic product, I was looking for an air fryer and a replacement for my Pressure Kind Pro (LED display developed a fault-could only make out half the numbers)
I started researching the products out there that could do both jobs and I came across the Ninja range, soon as I found the one with the ‘smart lid’ I knew this was the one. I couldn’t do with interchanging lids, I have limited surface and storage room in my kitchen.
Although it has 15 different function I’m not sure I’ll get around to using them all but you never know. So far the air fryer function is fantastic as it’s the pressure cooking function. Steak is cooked to perfection as a whole chicken in a fraction of the time it would take in the oven. With the price of electricity rising at an alarming rate, the less time the conventional oven is on the better.
Fair to say it’s quite noisy but our kitchen is separate to our living room, so I just leave it to it. Takes up no more room than the Pressure King Pro but with the lib been on a hing, I don’t need to look for space on the work surface to put the lid down on.
Cleaning is hassle free. Very happy with this product and can recommend
Easy to follow instructions
Need space on worktop, I found it very easy to use , very pleased with the results. I have used it everyday since I bought it a week ago!Don’t need to use my main cooker for most of my cooking . I cooked a whole chicken, the best chicken ever, so amazed at the result, and took less time!cooked a large batch of minestrone soup, quiche, wedges, lamb steaks in onion and mushroom gravy, roast Mediterranean vegetables, absolutely brilliant, steamed vegetables, braised red cabbage, wouldn’t be without it!!!
Best thing I’ve bough
Absolutely love this ninja. Does so many things. I’ve used some of the functions but not all of them yet though I plan on exploring more with it. Can’t wait to see how I get on. So far I have found it pretty simple and self explanatory to use. The pans wash easily after use. The only downside I have is that it is quite heavy so it would be something you would want to keep out on the worktop rather than having to keep lifting it in and out of a cupboard.
What can I say about this machine apart from WOW! It does everything in one machine and I’m just learning to use it’s functions and so far I’ve used it to pressure cook for baking and it has an amazing air frying capability still learning but so far I’m well pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.
OMG! Like seriously wow! So firstly it’s 7.5 litres it’s a big baby! She is very noticeable but beautiful and intuitive! If you are like me, impatient don’t want to read the whole manual but just want to get cooking, it’s so simple to use that you can figure it out on the go. There are a few things you will need to read in the manual like the pressure valve. Removing and cleaning the inner valve (not entire sure what it’s called). Cos she is a big baby at first I was a little intimidated but hey it was Christmas Day and I had a whole heap of things cooking, the cooker, oven and just air fryer appliances were already busy but I was short on time so had to burst open this baby! Did the pressure test all was good once I figured out what was up!
NOTE!
Pressure valve is loose it’s supposed to be this way!
VEGAN/VEGETARIANS Meat lover here so you may want to stop reading now!
I threw in Goat meat with seasoning and some water and pressure cooked within 25 mins it was cooked and tender! Imagine 25 mins for 40/50 worth of goat meat from the local butchers, drastically cutting cook time. Then I drained the meat juices ready for the Jollof (serious omi eran) and gave Ninja baby a quick wash, added the basket and put goat back in to air fry, after around 2 rounds of 15 mins done! Then I added plantain to air steam fry, this was 3 rounds and took a bit longer but then there was a lot of plantain! Either way I used the pressure cooker, air fry and air steam fry functionso easy and my goat dodo (mixed with pepper sauce) was delicious OMG! Yes BUY IT! It doesn’t have to be the biggest size I.e 7.5 if smaller Family (1/2 people) single person go for the smaller size! This gadget/appliance is so worth it and it’s my first Ninja baby experience! Loved it! Right what to cook/experiment with next!

Ninja 11 in 1
Very happy with my ninja 11 in 1 does everything the blurb says it does, is efficient, saves time and money. This is my second ninja pressure cooker my granddaughter has taken the first one now I have up graded
Nice item
It is rather bulky but it cooks quickly and I love the quick release on the pressure cooker function! That’s amazing!!
Lots of functions lots to play with. It’s smart it’s functional. It’s tidy
Wow
I waited before writing this as I wanted to use it for while. Best item ever, very versatile very easy to use and gives you the chance to have a healthy meal in 15-20 minutes. I haven’t used the hobs since I got this.
What I like is its ability to steam roast a whole meal. It’s probe works well. It’s air fryer capability works very well. I bought it for its steam bake bread and that also works well. One lid is means there is no having to find storage for or placement of a hot lid whilst you deal with saute or stir the food.
What I really don’t like is the short lead, it’s very short and recommends not to use an extension lead. This limits where to put it. Also, when using any steam bake setting, there is a great deal of steam emissions. My extractor couldn’t cope with the amount and my cupboards near the unit got wet, there was a fine mist of steam on my glass door too. I’ve had to move the unit into a room away from my cupboards. But this meant moving away from my kitchen which isn’t ideal.
I’ve now gone back to my instant pot pro for anything that involves pressure cooking or steam cooking.
Love my Ninja foodi 15in 1
I wanted an air fryer but after doing some research I bought ninja foodi. I’ve received it end of Jan 22 and I have tried and tested it throughout and I am comfortable to say I AM IN LOVE WIT IT! If you are/were like me and was looking for air fryer don’t! Get the Foodi you can create so much more in it! Cooking, frying, baking and much more! So much so I am considering to buy it for my mum. My sister got one too! Yes! You have to get use to it but it is really easy and straight forward. Yes it’s big and can be overwhelming but Cooking is quick and food is absolutely delicious! You can have a full meal in 20 min! What else you can ask for? Can I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY YESSSS!!!!

Brilliant!
I deliberated for ages before deciding to go for it and buy this item. I needn’t have worried, it is absolutely brilliant and I’m loving it!!! I did also buy the UK/European cook book at the same time, which I’m very glad I did as otherwise I might have taken a lot longer to try different things. I’ve only had it a short while and have achieved wonderful results at the first attempt, e.g. roast chicken, chips, beef, roast potatoes, a beef casserole, shepherd’s pie – to name but a few. I haven’t yet used all the functions, but look forward to trying them. I find it so easy to clean and it really saves me so much time, not to mention energy as I’m turning my main cooker on much less than I did. I’m lucky I have a large, deep cupboard that can house it and I combined buying it with disposing of 2 slow cookers and my air fryer. I was sad to see the slow cookers go as I was quite attached to them & a fan of this way of cooking, but the Ninja Foodi does just as good a job. If you’re debating this purchase, just do it & I’m sure you won’t regret it.
Very good so fa
I have only had the Ninja for a few days and only used the pressure cooker function so far. I found that It is so quiet, it is a pleasure. The parcel arrived earlier than expected on a weekend without pre-warning, which is a problem where I live, but the parcel itself was very sturdy, no complaint there.
It comes with a small book of recipes and clear instructions about the different functions. I had a slight difficulty locking the pressure lid at first as I had removed the silicone ring to wash it and had not fully pressed it down back in place in a small section of the lid, so it would not close. It got me puzzled for a while but I appreciated the safety measure that prevented me from proceeding further. I intend to try the oven function next week. You have to realise that it is much larger and higher than a pot . I would say that it occupies the space of my microwave oven nicely. My only complaint so far is the length of the electric cord, which is just too short to be used anywhere in my kitchen so I have no option but to use an extension. It mentions that the reason for it is to avoid accidents with children but microwave oven, kettles, toasters have longer cords and are as dangerous, and anyway there are no children where I live!
I should have bought a Ninja Foodi ages ago, absolutely love it! Had it for a month now and I’m using it practically every day which I didn’t expect, but it’s just so good. Pressure cooking is fabulous, complete meals in a short time. I really like the air fry function with very little or no oil. Cleaning is easy too. Definitely recommend.
Have had my foodi now for a couple of days and boy, am I impressed!! Found cooking a drag and this foodi has just made my life sooo much easier! Made a roast tonight and recipe said it would take 25 minutes, was a bit sceptical but lo and behold, it was ready in 25 minutes!! (After the preheat) but just wow.. didn’t have to keep checking up on it or remove the vegetables as would do with an oven.. everything was ready at the same time. Added some bisto to remaining stock/drippings and made gravy out of that.. everything in one pot!
Edit to post
I use the foodi almost everyday especially to fry chips, wors (South African style sausages),sweet potato chips or fish fingers. Amazing just how little oil you use and not to mention the health benefits. No longer feel guilty about eating fried food. Really great piece of equipment!

Best purchase I've made in my life
When I first bought this, I was super excited to use it, especially the steam, pressure cook & air crisp (air fry) feature and I was blown away. Men, you no longer need your wives (unless you cook), women, you can take a break from slaving over the stove and parents, this is so simple, your kids can use it. I first cook a beef burger and some chips in this, using the ‘air crisp’ feature on about 190 for 10 minutes and my goodness, the chips came out crispy and perfect, the burger was fully cooked inside and out, no red or pink bits at all.
I then made some chicken nuggets for dinner and these were vegan nuggets that were done in 5 minutes, though they need about 15 minutes in my oven.
Be warned though, when you first use it, there will be a warm plastic/metal type smell, but this is completely normal and goes away after the first use, it is nothing to worry about at all and doesn’t affect the taste or smell of your food in any way, shape or form.
I can’t go longer than 24 hours without using this machine and it comes with an instruction manual, a recipe book and a leaflet on what foods cook best in what mode and it comes with a metal steaming rack and a steaming lid.
If I ever want something quick after work, I know I can count on my 9-in1 Foodi.
The only con is that I can’t both air crisp beef or chicken and vegetable because it would make the vegetables dry, but perhaps pressure cooking or steaming vegetables, setting them aside and then air crisping, roasting or grilling the vegetables are the way to go for a tasty meal. – Just some things to make note of.
I’ve attached some pictures to my review also.

Great buy
Only had 10 days but really liking it. Have not used oven since purchasing the Ninja. I’ve cooked a large chicken, roasted potatoes and parsnips, stew and pasta and bacon in it. Haven’t used pressure cooker yet so can’t comment on that. You should be aware however that it is rather heavy so would need to have room on worktop and enough space above to open the lid

i recently upgraded from a 9 in 1 to 15 in 1 due to steam functions and one lid on the new ninja
its been used nearly everyday to make roast chicken in the steam roast function with potatoes at the bottom. Its the best chicken ever! however not so good on roast beef as rare comes out medium for me with the probe,
other functions such as air fry which i used on the 9 in 1 before is excellent on this model and I have done both jacket potatoes and , salt and pepper ribs and wings.
only gripe is it is a big machine and the normal steam function isn’t as good as steaming on the hob or slow cooker of a proper slow cooker
other than that its a brillant everyday gadget. I rarely use my oven.

An amazing piece of kitchen kit.
I absolutely love this product. We are having our kitchen done and bought this to help us through without the cooker. I’ve been looking at this product for a number of years now and was always put off by the multiple lids of previous models and when Ninja came out with the new Smart lid I had to have the excuse to get one and a new kitchen it was! I will still use this product when the kitchen is finished it produces very tasty and juicy meats and meals! Air Fry option is obviously healthier but even frozen foods like hash browns are amazing! I can’t praise this product enough 🙂
