It has been almost a year and I don’t regret my purchase at all. I have learned to DJ on this controller and I cannot sing higher praises. I am almost ready to upgrade to a higher level one but even if I don’t for years I could see this being a go-to. The one complaint I have is that you are fixed to the FX that are on the deck itself. I just bought a drum pad use it in Serato in addition to the deck but the feel is nice, the layout is great and it is still perfectly functional after very heavy use. A+
I was looking at a smaller controller to take to my Euro trip.. this controller fit into my 22″ backpack.. works with VDJ and is very compact. The disc plates feel nice.. the digital display is very handy.
The only down side is the headset volume.. I have it maxed out and need to press my headsets to my ears in order to hear the cue..
Numark outdid themselves with this controller! Entry-level, but with features you can grow into and will be a while before outgrowing and needing a more expensive deck. I’ve wanted to learn scratching since I was 12 and now that it’s more accessible, I am starting at the age of 42. What I mean by accessible is you don’t need a ton of space or to drop a major amount on vinyls. It’s a blast! I am super impressed so far! For anyone needing to learn, just check tutorial vids online and you’ll be mixing and scratching in no time. Practice. Practice. Practice.

Gleich vorweg: Wer bei seiner Kaufentscheidung zwischen Pro FX und Platinum FX schwankt, sollte aufgrund des aktuell reduzierten Preises von nur 155 unbedingt zum Pro FX greifen. Die Vorteile des Platinum FX sind minimal, die Anzeige an den Jogwheels bestenfalls eine Spielerei und die 4-Deck-Steuerung aufgrund von nur 2 Hardware-Kanlen nahezu unbrauchbar. Wer also auf die beiden letztgenannten Punkte verzichten kann, wird mit dem Pro FX seine helle Freude haben!
Schon beim Auspacken fllt auf, dass der neueste Vertreter der populren Mixtrack-Serie ein ganzes Stck gewachsen ist. Er ist nun genauso breit wie der Mittelklasse-Controller NV2, und aufgrund der riesigen Jogwheels auch deutlich schwerer als seine Vorgnger. Die Verarbeitung ist auf TOP-Niveau und lsst den Controller sowohl optisch als auch haptisch wesentlich teurer erscheinen. Glanzstck sind natrlich die bereits erwhnten Jogwheels, die aufgrund ihrer Gre und des Gewichts perfekt zum Scratchen geeignet sind. Sie bieten die optimale Mischung aus Trgheit und Leichtgngigkeit, und kommen dem Gefhl eines echten Turntables dadurch gefhrlich nahe.
Neben den Jogwheels ist die namensgebende Effektsektion (“FX”) das wichtigste Aushngeschild dieses Controllers. Die markanten Kippschalter stammen direkt aus dem wesentlich teureren Battle-Mixer Numark Scratch. Mit ihnen lsst sich ein Effekt entweder dauerhaft aktivieren, oder durch Gedrckthalten des Kippschalters vorbergehend einblenden. Zudem sind einige Effekte durch Hardwaretasten bereits direkt anwhlbar, ohne dass man hierfr erst die Software bedienen muss. Darber hinaus gibt es, wie bereits seit einiger Zeit Standard bei Mixtrack-Controllern, fr jeden Kanal einen dedizierten Filter-Regler.
Die restlichen Fader und Knobs mssen sich keinesfalls vor ihren Brdern aus dem Profi-Bereich verstecken. Speziell die Fader berzeugen durch ihre hochwertige Verarbeitung und die richtige Portion Widerstand. Im Falle der Touchpads ist kein Unterschied zu jenen des NV2 erkennbar. Da der NV2 mittlerweile schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, wrde ich sogar behaupten, dass die Pads minimal verbessert wurden und noch etwas reaktionsfreudiger sind.
An Anschlssen stehen dem geneigten DJ auf der Rckseite USB, ein Unbalanced Stereo-Cinch und ein 6,3mm Klinken-Mikrofonanschluss zur Verfgung. Die Vorderseite bietet zwei Kopfhreranschlsse, 3,5mm und 6,3mm. Im Profi- und Mobile-DJ Segment ist diese Ausstattung natrlich unzureichend. Fr Anfnger oder als Zweitcontroller auf kleineren Veranstaltungen ist man jedoch mit dem Mixtrack Pro FX bestens bedient.
Zu guter Letzt ein nicht unwesentliches Thema, die Software. Numark setzt bei seinen Controllern fast ausschlielich auf Serato DJ. Im Unterschied zu Pioneer und deren Software Rekordbox, gibt es von Serato jedoch 2 verschiedene Varianten. Zum einen Serato DJ Pro, die vollstndige Lizenz mit allen Funktionen. Zum anderen Serato DJ Lite, eine abgespeckte Version, der es an wichtigen Features fehlt und die fr den Live-Einsatz dadurch eher ungeeignet ist. Leider werden Numarks Anfnger-Controller, allen voran die Mixtrack Serie, seit eh und je mit Serato DJ Lite (frher: Intro) ausgeliefert. Diese reicht bestenfalls zum ben und um Grundkenntnisse im Umgang mit software-gebundenen DJ Controllern zu erlangen. Wer vor einem Live-Publikum auflegen mchte, wird frher oder spter um den Kauf der Pro-Lizenz nicht herum kommen. Diese kostet im Regelfall zwischen 100 und 200, abhngig davon welche Zusatzpakete man nimmt. Diese Zusatzkosten sollte man also beim Kauf eines gnstigen “Lite”-Controllers immer im Hinterkopf behalten, sollte man tatschlich planen, den Controller auch bei Live-Auftritten zu verwenden!
Fazit: Der Numark Mixtrack Pro FX ist nicht nur ein wrdiger Nachfolger der legendren Mixtrack-Reihe, sondern meines Erachtens aktuell der beste Einsteiger-Controller am Markt. Fr den unschlagbar gnstigen Preis von knapp 160 erhlt man ein stabiles Gert, das sich keinesfalls vor hherpreisigen Mittelklasse-Controllern verstecken muss. Besonders in puncto Verarbeitung erhlt man eine Qualitt, die man bei anderen Herstellern in diesem Preissegment vergeblich sucht. Einzige Schwachstelle ist die eher mige, mitgelieferte Software Serato DJ Lite. Diese kann jedoch jederzeit gegen Aufpreis auf die allseits bekannte und jahrelang (club-)bewhrte Serato DJ Pro Lizenz upgegraded werden. Mittlerweile hat Numark mit dem Mixtrack ein Niveau erreicht, welches nicht nur Anfnger anspricht, sondern auch fr Fortgeschrittene mit kleinem Budget durchaus attraktiv ist. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

I punti forti sono che ha praticamente tutto che serve ma cio’che e’un plus sono le jog da 6 pollici con display preciso che indica bpm e tempo rimanente della canzone e di quello passato, jog con display presenti solo su modelli ben piu costosi.
Altro punto forte sezione effetti con le due levette per la conferma dell effetto lasciandolo attivo, come i mixer da battle.
Ho dato 4 stelle per utilizzo materiali, semplice plastica come del testo anche i knob, diciamo che ad averla fatta pagare 30 euro in piu con materiali migliori sarebbe stata il top consigliatissima nella fascia entry o qualcosa di piu level, se non per discorso materiali per conto mio il voto sono 5 stelle
I previously owned the numark platinum trackmixer which I passed on to my son. Which left in open to buy a different brand of mixer. After a lengthy research and watching several YouTube video I divided to stay with the Numark brand. Great value, great feel and easy to use with serato.
This is so easy to use, I have been using Serato DJ and previous Mixtrack controllers, this was an upgrade and I’m so impressed with this newer model, the FX paddles are a great addition and the screen in the jog wheels are great, the jog wheels themselves being that much bigger than the previous models is also a great help when scratching and back spinning, I love this bit of kit and recommend buying it, I got it at a super cheap price and am so happy I did!

Investigue demasiado y a comparacin de otras consolas de precios y gamas similares, est Numark Platinum Fx era la mejor. Es muy fcil para instalar, hay muchos tutoriales en YouTube para aprender a manejarla y configurarla en Serato o Virtual DJ, para m el funcionamiento es perfecto en Virtual Dj y es gratis. La nica recomendacin es para que el fabricante brinde la versin pro de Serato, debido la versin light es demasiado bsica para todo lo que se puede hacer con esta maravillosa consola.

Great purchase, something I’ve been meaning to treat myself to for ages.
Using virtualdj, the controllers response to action is crisp and quick. I even played with mapping a few buttons. It’s a bit complicated but possible . The long pitch faders allow one to lock in tight when blending or mixing tracks I had no problem layering acapellas over beats. The up and cross faders are pretty good for blends. As for scratching, the crossfader is not replaceable,so be advised.
The sampler is good you can load just about any sound and trigger them with the 8 pads. You can create multiple trigger banks as well.I
The buttons are stiff so you will have a slight delay when pressing them. Adjustments can be done inside the software.
It has the standard 1/4 and 3.5 jack for phones. It also has a mic input and volume control. This is the area when an improvement can be made.
You can’t run the mic through the software so no live mic or podcasting unless you run the controller through a mix board Maybe it will be possible in the future.
The soundcard is built in and is ” bright” . I mean the mids and highs can be overpowering. Some Eq work night help. It has no compressor like upper end units, however it’s ok for the price. I bought the unit in October of 2020 and at the time of this review it’s doing well
I would recommend this controller for beginners. The value is well worth the price.It has all you need and more with room to grow,and I would buy it again.

PROS:
– Es muy completa, ya que ofrece un poco de todo, estticamente muy bien, mayora de botones de bastante calidad -aunque no todos-, peso ligero y tamao muy compacto para todo lo que ofrece.
– Calidad de sonido mas que decente, no es un equipo profesional, pero tampoco es lo que se espera por su precio.
– Los Jogs son bastante grandes, se agradece para una mayor comodidad.
– El “Pitch” es grande-largo y est muy bien ubicado, mejor que otras controladoras con un rango de precio similar (ejem Pioneer DDJ-SB3…). Imprescindible para los que venimos de otros equipos mas “profesionales” o estamos acostumbrados a platos de vinilo.
Contras:
– El software ‘Serato DJ’ es la versin LITE, suficiente para mezclar temas y otros, pero limitado en algunos aspectos, por ejemplo en poder grabar nuestras sesiones, tendrs que actualizar a la versin PRO que no es muy econmico o buscar alternativas, eso all cada uno.
– El equipo tiene un JACK de 6,3mm para conectar un Micrfono, pero este no pasa por el cable USB que tenemos conectado al PC, por lo que se escuchar por los altavoces que tenemos conectados a la controladora Numark pero no ser reconocido por el Software Serato DJ y por lo tanto no lo capturara cuando grabemos sesiones, para mi el “error” mas grande de este equipo…
– Los botones “Pads” son de una calidad regulera-baja, no son demasiado precisos al tacto.
Otros:
Me hubiera gustado que los botones ‘START’ y ‘CUE’ fueran mas grandes y con forma redonda, y el botn de Sync mas pequeo, en este aspecto me gusta mas la ‘Pioneer DDJ-SB3’
Por si le sirve a alguien, como la controladora la uso para una habitacin mediana en tamao, me compr unos altavoces econmicos pero suficientes para mi uso, los ‘Woxter Dynamic Line 410’, si no vais a usar un volumen demasiado alto son suficientes, buena relacin calidad/precio.
De Micrfono uso un ‘TONOR’ dinmico, tambin econmico (13) pero que no suena nada mal, destacar lo que coment anteriormente, el software del PC (en este caso Serato DJ) no recoger el sonido del micrfono cuando grabemos una sesin. Otro micrfono no demasiado alto de precio que le puede ir bien es el ‘Numark WM200’
Recomendara esta controladora? S, sin duda, pero teniendo en cuenta el tema del micrfono y el tema software (esto ltimo fcilmente solucionable)

I love this controller. it is brilliant. The level of quality that this controller brings is not like anythong else. The rubber pads and rubber 10mm tempo sliders mean you can tempo match very easily without using sync. The jogwheels are outstanding. 6 inches with inner displays with a metal feeling with some weight to them making it much easier to beatmatch. The effects section also is amazing and makes it easier to select an effect and use it on the controller rather than manually selecting it on the software like a pioneer does. This controller overall is the best controller you can get at this price point. highly recommended.

The covers I see on amazon my friend has on of these and those cases are flimsy, better off finding a good case, The unit itself, works well with virtual DJ no problem despite in instructions it says its only for Serato DJ, I looked that up they want $$$ hard, VDJ works fine. The software glitches that people are having, make sure your computer is up to date for 1, 2, this unit is for 4 deck DJ software, 3 Great addition to a Desktop FL Studio/Musician. It is not easy to learn but if you had past experience with any dj software you would know what knob, fader, effects do…on the right of that unit is my RODE Caster.
Really impressed with this. Brought this for myself, never DJ’d before. Easy to set up and loads of fun. I connect to an iPad via apple camera connector and use Algoriddim DJ software and it works just fine. Feels sturdy and well built. Would recommend to anyone looking to start DJing for fun!

Ich setze den Controller zusammen mit einem iPad Pro der 1. Generation und Algoriddims Djay Pro AI ein.
Der Controller wird automatisch erkannt, man muss also nicht umstndlich ein MIDI Mapping erstellen.
Alle Fader und Buttons fhlen sich gut an, besonders die 2 Schalter fr die Effekte haben es mir angetan.
Fr meinen Geschmack knnten sich die 2 Jogwheels vielleicht noch eine Spur leichter drehen, aber das ist auch wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Ich bin jedenfalls begeistert! Nachdem ich ber die Jahre immer mal wieder unterschiedliche Controller aus dem Einstiegs-Segment versucht habe, bin ich mit diesem hier nun angekommen und 100% zufrieden.
Der Numark Mixtrack Pro FX bekommt daher von mir 5 Sterne und einen Daumen hoch!

This controller is great for beginner DJs and those transitioning from virtual DJ work. The jog wheels are very responsive to touch and the effects paddles are perfectly sensitive when mixing.
A lot of DJs recommend Pioneer or much more expensive controllers for starting out as it is the industry standard for Club and dance hall settings, but this controller fits perfectly if you’re planning on smaller gigs and parties.
The build is very sturdy and give a very professional feel, starting out on this controllers overall layout feels natural.
The display on the jog wheels make this controller even more grabbing, taking your eyes away from the screen and the 4 channel mixers are perfect for layering.
Overall a great value for the money.
Unfortunately, mine arrived with what appeared to be a loose right jog wheel. I used it for a couple of hours and really liked the quality, effect triggers, jog dials and was even ok with the limitations of Serato DJ Lite (which is free, but does lack some of the ‘pro’ features). However the clicking and movement of the right jog wheel (as shown in the video) was annoying. Convinced this was a fault — I begrudgingly returned the item.
Amazon’s return and refund process was excellent and easy — fantastic service.

You will need a subscription to Serato, and it does run well streaming from Tidal.
Coming from turntables and not having played anywhere for a few years, I was surprised at how easy it was for me to immediately start making good blends, and effects and loops and cue points were also easy to learn. Scratching is proving slightly more difficult to master, and I’m not sure if it’s a fault of technique or hardware or both.
As you can see by the pictures (ignore my messy office/studio), it’s a very nice size.
For this price point, you get a feature-packed, solidly built piece of gear from a well-established brand.
Great starter kit, easy to plug and play. Built for Serrano and tidal, you can be mixing in minutes. The pads can be slightly unresponsive but you get used to it after a while. Really recommend for a starter.

Die Digital-Displays in den beiden Jog-Wheels sind ziemlich einzigartig in der Preisklasse.
XLR-Anschluss hat er keinen. Nur Cinch oder AUX. Aber als Anfnger-Gert das man am PC oder Laptop nutzt,
geht das schon. Im Club wrde man eher zu was hochwertigerem greifen.
Der Mixer ist z.B. mit Serato DJ kompatibel.
Fader und Regler fhlen sich gut an. Alles wichtige ist da.
Speed Fader sind lang ausgefhrt und bieten damit viel Przision.
Die 2×8 Cue-Buttons knnten vom Druckpuunkt her leichtgngiger sein und knackiger.
Fixe, rote Beleuchtung ist Geschmacksache.
Ein paar kleine aber wichtige Negativpunkte, die sich nur teilweise mit dem Preis erklren lassen:
– Die Speed Fader liegen jeweils rechts auf hhe der Jog-Weels.
Das bringt leider mit sich, dass man die Wheels kaum mit der rechten Hand rechts am Rand anfassen kann,
da man Gefahr luft beim Beatmatching gegen den Fader zu kommen und diesen ungewollt zu verstellen.
Teurere Gerte haben die Fader deshalb ber oder unter den Jog-Wheels rechts angebracht, so dass man rechts neben dem Rad Platz hat. -> Grter Minuspunkt fr mich
– Die Speed Fader haben keinen fhlbaren Rast-Punkt in der Mittelposition. Schade.
– Die Jog-Wheels sind recht schwer. Fhlt sich wertig an, aber kann beim Scratchen stren, da die Masse ja
in beide Richtungen beschleunigt werden muss.
Also fr den Preis ein solides Einsteiger-Gert mit ein paar einzigartigen Features in der Preisklasse,
aber leider auch mit ein paar ergonomischen Problemchen, die vorab htten auffallen mssen bei der Entwicklung.

Got this for my son this Christmas as an upgrade from the other smaller start up Numark one last year and he said he’s so glad I got him the starter one first and then this, as he was able to master this one with ease but having the plus of lots of new features.

Be informed that you cannot change display mode from elapsed time to remaining when using Serato DJ (lite or pro). Product description and user’s manual contains information about two modes but it’s incorrect and no information about how to do that. This is confirmed by vendor’s technical support. Very sad, but not critical.

*Too expensive, any other option? : YES, if you do not want the LED display and 4 channel option, buy MIXTRACK PRO FX. You’ll save at least Rs. 4000.
The good points have been highlighted in many reviews but to confirm, I really like the the effects set up with the paddles and although it is true that there are limitations as you can only use one effect per channel at any one time, the ease of use means that won’t bother most people. All of the rotary controls are good and the filter knobs are excellent, as are the loop controls.
The one thing that disappointed me and the reason I have only given four stars is the fact that there is no ‘click’ in the middle of the pitch slider range to let you know that you are in the middle. This is annoying because it means you can’t tell just by feel when the pitch slider is in the middle and thus the tune is set to its actual BPM on loading. Instead you have to keep checking by looking at the screen. I’m not sure why Numark have left this out but just be aware of it.

I stepped up from the mix track pro 3. This was a great upgrade!!!
But my only complain is two things:
1 The FX that has on the middle I only use Echo and Flanger… It doesn’t bring a bottom to change the FX directly with the console but it can be change on the Software
And 2 changing to Decks 3 and 4 then return to decks 1 and 2 the Filter, Bass, Mid, Treble and Level it doessynchronize with the 4 decks… I had to adjust it as every time that I change the Deck 1 2 or 3 and 4…
But in general I like it very much
Only for this 2 things four stars but it deserve five stars if we speak in general of functions and the price
Great piece of equipment. Solid quality and heavy does not feel cheap so far works great and is very responsive on my pc
absolutely love this.. I’m just a beginner but went from the numark partymix to this and it is brilliant.. however I looked at reviews on YouTube first before buying it and I’m not disappointed

La uso con Virtual Dj ya que con Serato no terminaba de leer bien los BPM.
Super table de mixage avec tout ce qu’il faut. Par contre Serato lite est vraiment minimaliste. Il vaut mieux prvoir Virtual DJ.
I absolutely love this!! And a built-in effects is awesome! Definitely worth the 200 bucks! I recommend this for all beginning DJs
