My daughter enjoys these ‘games’ on her IPAD. I think it is an excellent learning tool.

So glad I bought this, my son loves it! I recommend this for anyone who is thinking about getting it. I was on the fence for a while but I am so glad that I went a head and got it. Highly recommend!

My grandson really likes playing with this and I can already see the improvement in his understanding of the concepts they are trying to teach. His mom enjoys helping him without doing it for him which takes patience but is rewarding.

Great game for teaching kids of all ages. But I suggest if you buy it for a fire tablet you go ahead and buy an adapter.
It does not come with the original package. It is not for an iPad it is only for a fire table

Be ready to play with the mirror, if you put it on against the iPAD it won’t work, you just have to pull it up a little to get the mirror in the right place. Then it’s perfect. Kids love creating shapes.

I’ve been having fun setting this up for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas. We are using an older IPad and hope it continues to work. Osmo world is a bit hard to get to k ow but he will probably breeze through it!

I bought this package for my daughter. She is almost three. As a parent, I feel it is a good design. I never let my daughter play with iPad before but I think it is good place to start. My daughter likes some of the games. But I do expecting more considering its price.

The ABC’s game is a little fast for my 3 year old but she did just turn 3. My daughter loves playing with it but the game requires me to help her every step of the way and she is a pretty fast learner. Works well on the tablet and easy to navigate. I didn’t realize I would have to download an app for each individual game but that’s not an issue. We still have yet to open other games, we’re just opening and finishing them one at a time. Thank you!

We bought the Osmo Little Genius Starter Kit for our preschooler (almost kindergartner) and he LOVES it!
It’s a great tool for learning letter recognition, letter sounds, spelling, and math!
The Osmo character is adorable and encouraging.
I love that we can check our son’s progress any time with the parent app.
The best part is, our little guy thinks he’s just playing a game!

(Tried to upload a video but couldn’t. )
It’s a pretty great little program. Takes some getting used to with the little one, but once she got the hang of it she just took off!

And I love that they have different programs for different ages and stages. They also have games and art programs. My 4 year old has almost all of the programs that were age and ability appropriate for her (: thanks for making a great program.

Great preschool program. Even I was pretty entertained.

By far this is the only thing that my son really loves to do during school hours he is a active 4 yr old and loves his one on one time with his shapes number and making stories with the littler person that they send in the kit. I am going to purchase more things to go with this OSMO. You have to invest in your children’s education if they are home with you every single day. This is not easy on some of us parents but its worth every single dollar.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOur 4 year old & 6 year old love this! It took a while to get it downloaded on the kindle fire as it didn’t come with much instruction.

Pros: It is very interactive and uses a mirror to project what your child places on the mat. Love the settings to adjust the difficulty level!

Cons: I do not like having to install the learning games under the parent profile. I wish we could install it under the kids so they are not logged onto my parent profile where they could accidentally purchase something. There might be a way to change this, I haven’t found it yet.

In the setup for the 8th generation Fire tablet (newest tablet) it asks if you have a reflection adapter (yellow piece for top of Osmo) it does not work without this. Very disappointing. I think it should clearly list this in the product description or come with an option to buy this version/pkg bc it cannot work without it. My daughter was so excited to play with it, now we have to wait until we have this piece.

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 3 and 5 year old granddaughters. With COVID our daughter has been home schooling them the entire school year. The 5 year old sat at the dining room table for over 2 hours until her Mom made her take a break on Christmas day. It is easy enough for her to do on her own and has engaged her to the point that she is asking often to be allowed to play with it. We bought several other Osmos add on’s for them to use with the starter kit.

Great product! I had some initial reservations based on mixed reviews and the overall cost of the system. I decided to try it out and I am glad I did.

We had an initial issue getting the tablet to “see” the play mat but since then it has been non-stop fun! My daughter has only played 4 of the 6 apps so far and she loves them. The mixture of hands-on learning and technology is very well balanced. I like that my daughter can practice problem-solving while also being creative. I would recommend to anyone with preschool-age children.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe bought Osmo Little Genius starter kit for our 4-6 year old. This lit up our little one’s face on Christmas day and I have to say it’s literally the favorite (educational) “toy” for all our boys. They have not put this down and they are loving explorings and creating. We are able to hear our sons reiterate what is being taught and also working together to solve the Newton bounce games.

I would like to say that we took the time to set up everything prior to wrapping this gift and it made their first experience with Osmo seamless. We recommend doing this for your kids as well so that play can happen straight out of the box.

An amazing product, and this kit is worth every penny because there’s so much to do and so much to add on. We will be purchasing all add one in the coming months!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersFun and engaging. My toddler loves the games, especially the Stories and Costumes. Keeps him entertained long enough for me to complete a couple of conference calls.

He doesn’t get to play too often- maybe an hour or two per week. He’s already completed all of the stories in the game and finished the numbers game- my point being, I expected the content to be a bit more… expansive.

Some of the problem solving components are a bit strange, too. One story has the kid figure out how to clean cobwebs off a chair. We tried all of the options until it suggested the crown… because it glitters. Not super logical.

The set up is weird, too. Each game is its own app, and it’s not abundantly clear which app goes with which set. I’m still not sure I have all of them downloaded.

Overall, it’s better than video games and provides good content. The numbers and letters and shapes apps are cool and definitely educational. Occasionally glitchy, but my kid loves it.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersMy son is turning six next week and starting kindergarten this year. I’ve been worried all summer about his education since the beginning of Covid. I wanted to find something educational to keep him learning, focused, and engaged. I set it up for him and he immediately started playing. He loved using the manipulatives and creating shapes on his work mat. He was engaged and loved all the different lessons. They were so easy and needed minimal adult support (just to set up). The lessons started easy and slowly scaffolded the content. He is already learning so much about numbers, shapes, and letters. I’m so impressed. My parents will be doing distance learning and will use this as part of his instruction. He loves using it so it will be easy to implement. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI bought the Osmo little genius starter kit for my four year old to have some educational learning opportunities that were still fun. It helps him work on a lot of age appropriate skills. He is learning how to write so the masterpiece game is a great fun way to help him build his fine motor skills. The costume party game allows him to be creative while also figuring out his spatial reasoning. My only concern is that you are supposed to take the cover off the ipad. I have a two year old that likes to play along with whatever the four year old does. I need to maintain parental supervision to make sure the kids don’t knock over the ipad during a spat, but probably not an issue for folks with older kids.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersWe’ve only had this for a few days, but so far – we are very happy! With our daughter’s preschool cancelled due to COVID, we were looking for a gift that would not keep her entertained & actively learning so when school starts back up, we’re ready for kinder! At first I was hesitant to purchase the Early Math Kit because of its higher price ($119.99 vs $79.99) but I’m SO HAPPY we did because she’s having A BLAST WITH COUNTING. It was super easy to set up. It’s also great seeing her build her numbers/letters with the colored sticks because her fine motor skills are still limited and she struggles with making her letters on paper. The story time game is also great and really helps stretch her mind and think creatively. I’ll update as she plays more, but so far it’s our favorite activity!

10/5/20 update: she’s still loving it – 5 stars highly recommend this because math is included. We’re so happy I’m also buying for my sister’s kids.
