I was initially unsure about these as they seemed expensive for what they are, but so glad I purchased – these games are amazing! I have a child in reception at school and you can set the games to the appropriate level.

OSMO IS MAGIC: Fun-filled & award winning learning games. Children interact with actual hand held pieces & a Fire Tablet, bringing a child’s game pieces & actions to life (No WiFi necessary for game play). An Osmo Base is included, a Fire Tablet is not included, both are required for game play.
TEACHING: 7 games included – 2 family friendly games. Solve equations to get past bothersome bugs & collect all of the honey in the garden, 20+ levels (Math Buzz). Build words with letters & collect creatures as a team by matching descriptions, exploring 40+ levels (Lettertopia)! Arrange puzzle pieces to match on-screen shapes (Tangram), solve creative physics puzzles by drawing lines or placing items in front of the screen (Newton), learn to draw anything with creative drawing skills (Masterpiece), add, count & multiply tiles to pop the number bubbles (Numbers), learn spelling & vocabulary with on-screen images (Words).
shame its for the fire table

This is a great Osmo set and a really nice addition or if it’s your first one as they’re a re tons and tons of activities here with seven different main games that are very engaging and fun for everyone to play together or keep kids who know what they are doing once used to it busy playing with each other whilst learning in a fun and easy way. The main typical and more traditional skills honed most are of course things likes maths, counting etc, spelling, writing, learning new words in different contexts but also helps with improving creativity as well as creative thinking, puzzle solving and working together making it a really good family set and definitely worth thew price considering how much is covered as it offers a lot of longevity too so would definitely recommend.

This is Osmo – Genius Starter Kit for Fire Tablet suitable for ages between 6-10. It requires a tablet, preferably a fire tablet which is not included in the box, but the compatible base is provided.

This starter kit packs several games that nurture both personal and collaborative skills. It includes equation solving games, shape matching games, word puzzles, building shapes either by drawing or using items, drawing, and a language learning exercise.

It is a very fun device for kids to play on their own or for parents to nurture their kids’ knowledge. Most of the exercises can either be played solo or as a team, which adds to the entertainment and makes learning enjoyable.

The games improve kids’ basic skills and levels move gradually from easy to hard, which sustains the challenge.

If you are looking for building your kids’ skills in language, physics, mathematics, and other areas then this kit is definitely one to consider.

These kits are really good for kids. To get them involved in STEM with a creative approach making everything look like a game. And this approach will keep them interested later on, then something like maths will become harder in school as they will associate what with fun. This is my opinion of how I think this game could help the kids.
Now about the kit itself. Inbox, you get Tangram pieces, number tiles, word tiles for the interactive games. As well you get an Osmo base and reflector.
You take your Ipad tablet put it on the stand from the kit and add a mirror attached to the top and just downloads the Osmo apps from the store and whatsit. And the kids can start playing. The games are quite colourful and interactive and will provide a lot of fun for kids, and maybe you will want to try it yourself as well, what’s what I did as well. As well it will provide an educational value and whats is very important. The only downside is the price which is really steep especially considering its lifespan. What I mean is how long it will be used before the kids get bored as there is just like 5 games to it, so it cant offer too much variety. But I think it is still good even with a price like this. As you cant put a value on a starting education early.

    Very colorful and interactive games

This kit is used with a Fire tablet to provide your child with a large selection of educational games and puzzles mainly focused on STEM and English. I did not have any issues setting the kit up with my tablet. The games are interesting and fun and I like how interactive they are. The kids loved them but I also enjoyed them. There is a large selection of games and puzzles so this should keep your children engaged for a long time. My only criticism of this kit is the 100+ price tag seems extremely expensive. I’d like to have had a lot more subjects covered to justify that price.

We have had some fun with this and we also have the add on pack called the ‘Enchanted World Games’. This pack is so expensive because it comes with the stand which is needed to play the other games so once you have this the add on packs are not as expensive.

I like the app, my son enjoys playing it. Once installed you don’t need any wifi or internet connection which is good however we did have to deleted a lot of apps so this game fitted on the tablet. There are some great games and ones all the fmaily can enjoy. It is very American at times which is s hame but the curriculum is about the same level and caters for mostly primary school grades. My son enjoys a game on there called Maths bhuzz, the graphics are great and child friendly and it guides children what to do and provides instant feedback and adapt to their learning. It did start of very easy but eventually got harder. It caters for maths and english skills as well as ome social skills. It does eat the battery on the tablet probably due to the camera being used to make it work. I just kept it plugged in.

I like the system, its educational however it will depend on your child, my son used it my daughter had no patience with it at all.

we used this with out tablet and its great. You can chose different games depending on our age. Its educational but so much fun my kids are always happy to play with it. The set comes with everything you need (apart from the tablet) and easy to follow instruction. This set is so much fun my entire family have enjoyed it, even the adults!
