The best picnic blanket I have come cross! It is LARGE and SOFT and yet waterproof at the bottom. We use this in the summer in the garden and everyone enjoy lazing around on it. Due to the backing it will be good for the beach too as the sand will not stick at the back.
You can roll it back up and keep it in the carry handle.
This is a great sized picnic blanket we’ve used it a lot over the last month. We’ve been on the beech in the parks and back garden with it and it’s been brilliant. We’ve had friends actually comment on where they can get one like it as it’s a great sized blanket. It’s nice and lightweight and comes with a carry bag. Unfortunately on the last trip to the beech I decided it would be a good idea to put a chair in there but the sand was very soft and the chair leg went straight through the blanket. So just a warning not to put chairs on it on soft ground. But that was my fault and my wife did warn me it wasn’t a good idea. I will not hesitate at buying another one though as we all really like this one.
This is great for when you have a lot of people or just have a lot of things you want to place down, plenty of room.
Nice design and was easy to clean. Folds back up easily enough and comes with a little bag to store it in which is perfect to also carry it around in.

I am using this picnic blanket to use when it is sunny in the park to eat and drink with friends. It is really good and soft, the materials isn’t bad at all and enough big for us to sit and enjoy.
I do not bring any chairs, so we sit right on the blanket. It is ver easy to open, and actually to close it as well, so can you put back in the little bag
When I got this it was not what I expected at all as it feels like a ripstop nylon material in a single layer which is very lightweight. It is a big size and strong but it is not really a blanket. But it is very useful. I have been using it around the garden as a drop sheet for my pruning which makes it much easier to pick up the trimmings from the bushes and trees and prevents them from falling in the planted borders. This has tested its strength and it is tougher than you expect. I am not convinced that I could use it at the beach as the slightest breeze makes extending it a nightmare even though it has pegs to hold it down but in the garden it is great.

This is a good picnic blanket which is two metres square. It is soft to sit on but has a waterproof backing so won’t get you wet if the ground is damp. Nice quality and good for family and friends.

I’m really impressed how small this blanket folds up given it’s size. It’s brilliant for the beach and I’ve even used it to line with car boot when I’ve been transporting plants. It’s very lightweight which does make it a difficult to lie flat on a windy day but it comes with pegs so once these are in place it’s fine
Oh! This blanket is so comfortable! So soft and huge!! Also i adore the colour. Grey is perfect because you will not see the dirty spots. Truly waterproof back side. Now i don’t have to worry about wet grass, sand and dirt. I wouldn’t say that this blanket is heavy. For 2mx2m the weight is perfect. Easy to clean and carry. It comes with waterproof bag which is very convenient. Highly recommended.
The quality of the blanket is lovely, it has a waterproof bottom that is silver lined to keep the heat in. The top is soft and lovely to sit on comfortable for long periods of time. The blanket is also a great size, large enough to fit a number of people on but not too huge you couldn’t put it up anywhere easily.
Overall I’m so happy and really recommend this.
It folds back up really easily. I must admit when I first opened it out I wondered if I would be able to get it back in the bag , but I needn’t have worried. It rolled back down really well and packed back into the holder and bag . Being a small footprint it fits nicely into the Moho garage area.
It is exceptionally soft material so it is actually ok to sit on directly tab well, rather than just on camping chairs.
The only disappointment is I wish that did the same style in 2.70 x 3 metres. That would have been even better from our point of view, but the one advertised in that size appears to be completely different and very thin material. Shame this one doesn’t have stake loops on the corners also.
Never mind this is very good for the job we need it for. Plus when we’re camping near the coast or not away camping but having a day out at the seaside we can use it on the beach as well. So dual purpose for us.
My only concern is whether it would be washable if it gets really grubby as there is no mention of that and the fact that it has a foam layer , so not one for the washing machine presumably.
I guess a damp cloth and some soap and water as soon as it is marked may do the trick. Will have to see down the line as hasn’t had enough use yet to find out. But will update as and when.
Despite that reservation we like it a lot.

The mat is compact and easy to store and carry. It comes with four pegs for putting into the sand or soft ground. It is quite thin, so is more suited for the beach than a picnic as it doesn’t offer much comfort but would filter the sand and keep clean.

This is a very nice picnic blanket. It’s large….very soft….very easy to use and also very easy to keep clean. Got this as added collection for our tent when go go camping. I prefer using this mat instead of the camping mat that goes with our tent. This is more compact, softer, lighter, got lovely colors, and you don’t feel cold when you sat on it as the material is fleece. The bottom side is foil and in the middle a thin foam. This mat is not very thick that’s why I prefer using this only during camping. I prefer a different type of mat for beach use.
An impressively large picnic blanket that is padded just enough to be comfortable on harder surfaces or uneven lumpy grass patches. Easy to wipe down, tons of room and easy to store away. Its always my worry thinking about how items like these can get stored away, but this was easy with straps to roll it up neatly!

With the pandemic winding down, I felt that my family and I needed some improvements to our beach accessories.
This waterproof beach mat is of a good make and can really do more than beach duty. It is suitable for any sort of travelling really as other than being waterproof, it is just a mat.
It comes with a storage bag that can be a bit difficult, for me, to put the mat back in. My husband has no issues with folding it properly however.
The mat also comes with four tent pegs that’ll help brace against wind when you apply them to each corner.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with this all in one mat, that happens to be advertised as a beach mat, and I have found it to do exactly as advertised while staying at a decent price (9.99 at the time of writing) so no faults here.

I really like this beach mat. I wouldn’t call it a blanket because it is made of something similar to a light weight waterproof coat material so is like a thin tarpaulin.
It is a fantastic size but folds up so easily into a lightweight carry bag with carabiner. It will be perfect to have when walking or cycling or have in the pushchair to cover the grass or sand. There are 4 pegs to secure the corners.

This is a large waterproof beach mat. I didn’t read the description properly before requesting this item so I was expecting a softer blanket type of mat. Instead this is more of a ground sheet type material. This is a good item as it does fold up small and therefore is easy to pack into a bag if you are out walking for the day.
The sheet is large and easily sits two adults with room for another. It is easy to clean after use and can be washed down and hung over a line to dry. It also makes a good sunshade if draped over a line as well.
Not quite what I was expecting but still a very useful item to have. Good for keeping in the car boot for unexpected picnics, or takeaways. I am pleased with this and I would happily recommend it.
I found this to be a good mat for the beach, the quality/material is a bit basic and is nothing special but it’s ideal for a beach environment.
It’s thin, waterproof and it prevents sand from sticking on which is what I need. It’s very easy to clean and is extremely portable making it very easy to take around. It has good coverage so it’s ideal to have for a family.
Not the best in terms of quality but it’s definitely ideal for a beach scenario.

It’s very soft and folds away very easily.
Water proof to an extent if you rub it in it will soak into the fabric so be quick to mop up.
Waterproof underside so you can put on wet grass.
Really good choice for any outdoor garden sitting on floor needs.
This is an ideal blanket to keep in my camper van for camping trips or days away. I like that the base is waterproof. It feels comfortable, durable and rolls neatly into the supplied bag. I’m not sure what it will be like on the beach for getting sand in the fibres, but having had similar blankets they usually need a good shake. It’s a decent size too – should be able to seat the whole family!

Beach mat absolutely massive size so would be brilliant for a family on the beach or on a picnic. It has a loop at each corner and comes with pegs so it can be pinned down which will be ideal when it is windy. The mat is waterproof and is a plastic material rather than a fabric. It isn’t very thick so time will tell how durable it will be I suspect it might tear easily if you put deckchairs etc on it but I haven’t had the opportunity to test that yet. A good product that can have many uses especially given the size.
This is more of a sheet rather than blanket (sorry but I associate the term blanket with something soft and cushiony to sit or lay on)
It is essentially a waterproof, sandproof picnic sheet with some styling with the blue white and grey colouring.
It does seem to be good quality in all fairness and is a large size being roughly 2 metre square so it’s suitable for a large family to sit or lay on and chill whilst having a picnic, at the beach, park or simply using it in the garden.
I like the fact it rolls up easy and packs away in its own drawstring storage bag which hardly takes up any room in the boot of a car for example.
Supplied with 4 yellow plastic tent pegs/ground anchors you can spread this out then mallet in the pegs through the corner ribbon eyelets to keep it down on the ground.
It does look pretty cool tbh and as it’s waterproof etc cleaning it up is a simple case of either hosing it down or sticking it in the washing machine on a cool wash, or sponge clean it.
I’d say it’s a tad pricey in my opinion at just under 13 at time of review and apart from keeping you dry or the sand or muck off it doesn’t provide much comfort. I couldn’t imagine getting out of the sea after swimming and then laying on this half wet as it’ll feel quite cold to the skin, mind you that might not be so bad on a hot summers day lol.
We do have lots of family picnics and this will provide us with an easy to transport and use picnic sheet which we won’t have to worry about getting dirty and the material seems strong enough too for durability even though it feels thin it seems quite well made. The storage bag can also serve to keep valuables hidden at the beach for example and your phone or tablet dry as well so it’s got a couple of uses.
Compact, lightweight and waterproof and could even be used to shield you from the rain in event of a car break down on a motorway for example.
This will come in handy storing it in the boot of your car 🙂
My daughter’s been after a large picnic blanket for all the social events she and her friends attend and this fits the bill perfectly. Unlike most other picnic blankets which fold up nicely and have a carrying handle this one rolls up and has a strap system to keep it in place. It also has its own drawstring bag which is an added bonus. I’d hesitate to call this a blanket. It’s more like a robust plasticised sheet, but certainly serves its purpose. If it was a genuine blanket you’d never get rid of all the sand. I love the fact that it’s big (2 metres x 2 metres), folds up into a bag and is easy to clean off after a beach trip with sand everywhere. It’s a great thing and takes up less room in the boot than an old rug. Cleaning it is quite simple. You can wipe clean the waterproof side with a damp cloth and just brush the top. I also like the pattern and it looks good and very “holiday like” when in use. I think the price is pretty reasonable because I’m sure it will last the course and I can’t fault it. As an added bonus the manufacturers boast it has a lifetime guarantee! What more could you ask?

I really like this picnic blanket but I have been using it in the garden for the kids to play on as well. Would be great on the beach as well because it is waterproof. The blanket rolls up for transporting and does not take much space. It has a soft quilted surface which is comfortable but also wipe clean if you spill food on it. It has 3 layers and is thick and it does a good job of insulating you from the ground however you will feel large stone and rocks under it so put it on a flat surface. It is very durable and hard wearing so I am very pleased with it.

I was surprised when saw this blanket on arrival. I didnt think it will be that big (rolled up in bag). Its thicker and insulated blanket which can be used even on wet-ish grass. It has fleece like top fabric which is also warm so its maybe not ideal for very hot, sunny days. Because in UK we get not much of proper summer weather, this blanket is just perfect for picnic here. It provides comfort and warmth. I really like the size 2m x 2m its perfect for us.
The colours and pattern is fantastic, eye catching.
I think this blanket is well priced for it’s high quality.
Its packable and easy to carry. It comes with dark blue carry bag and straps which helps keep the blanket tidy before we slide it inside the carry bag. It makes a lot easier to pack it away.

This has a lovely soft side – feels a bit like felt, and the other is a silver waterproof side. There is supposed to be a foam layer – if there is, it’s an extremely thin layer, but it’s good enough. This is perfect for outdoors. The silver side will protect even if the grass is damp or wet, and the other side is very comfortable sitting on. I love that they provide two carrying methods – roll the blanket up and use the nylon handle to slip around the roll. They also provide a storage bag – I found after opening up the blanket a few times, it didn’t fit the storage bag – would just peek out over the top – since it came in the storage bag, fitting perfectly, there must be a way of getting it all in. This picnic blanket is huge! It will easily fit at least 3 sitting adults or a small group of children. It has a waterproof layer underneath, to protect it from grass or sand and it’s a nice sort of velvety fabric on top. I was surprised at how nice it feels! The pattern is modern and stylish and I love the vivid blue colour. The blanket comes with a carry bag for easy storage and portability. It has a sort of clippy harness thing which keeps the blanket held together once it’s been rolled or folded up and makes it easier to get back into the bag.

It’s quite thin, so is quite difficult folding out completely flat at the edges. The overall build quality is quite good though – it has a foil backing underneath to stop damp coming through, which also acts as insulation. Folds away quite small and comes in a handy carry bag.

This is a great size, reasonably thick and comfortable and perfect for either the garden, taking to the park or the beach etc – especially as it folds up so compactly for it;s size. This beach mat is perfect size for the beach it is 210 x 200cm. It is water resistant and sand resistant you can just shake the sand off. It comes in a useful cord string bag and comes with 4 anchor stakes to keep it down on windy days.
I keep mine in my car ready for days at the beach or picnics.
