After buying a few different stands and being really fiddly to get the controllers to charge from the top I got this and this has been an absolute dream and even the kids can use it.
I bought one of these 2yrs ago and it’s still going strong. A year ago I got the official charger for my kids other controllers and it broke as the design is awful, so purchased another one of these to replace it. It’s sturdy and made well and not too fiddly to rest the controllers in like the PS4 official one was. I would recommend this product highly.
Has a really positive click when you set the controller to charge, holds it still so it doesn’t fall off. Works perfectly.

I’ve been using PS3 wands with my PS4 and was delighted to find that these work with my PS3 wand. The wee holes in the bottom of the wands are what these charging docks use – not the standard connection you use when plugging via USB into the PlayStation. The wee charge holes are the same on both PS4 and PS3.
Oh, and they’re handy to charge both wands at the same time without using up a single charge port, which is I guess why people buy them 🙂
I love this so much. I leave one controller docked while I use the other one, and switch places when the battery gets low. After play I can easily leave both docked and charging. A must have if you own multiple ps4 controllers.
Works well, I’ve had no problems with this item. Charges controller relatively quickly.
My DS4 gamepad has always had problems with charging via the micro usb in the back of the controller. Eventually it became so bad, I simply couldn’t handle it anymore. A friend of mine reccomended I buy this, and lord I am happy I did. It uses a different charging mechanism from the micro usb, instead going in via the port near where the headphone jack is- and get this, it works like a dream. It charges fast, waay faster than my micro usb did in its prime. It also stays nice and secure while charging, so you can leave it be while you do other things. The only downside I can possibly think of is that you can’t realistically use a controller while it is charging using this device, but that is fairly obvious by the design. I also can’t say how useful it would be for you if you still are able to use the micro usb option, but if not this might be your savior.
Works perfectly. Just remember to have the wands facing the correct direction to fit in the charger. The small footprint of the charger says shelf space which is a bonus. No more grabbing a controller only to find the battery flat. Highly recommended!

Does what it says on the tin, but the important thing is how. Rather than using the micro usb sockets, it uses the ports on the “bottom” of the controller.
This is particularly useful if your kids have pulled on the controller whilst plugged in and broken the USB port. This charger is much cheaper than a new controller (or two)!

Charges the PSVR controller’s……..and it done exactly that who would have thought…..dun dun dun. Yeah nice quality and I love the product.
A nice little stand for my controllers. Easy to knock of but I always know where I left them now instead of looking under the sofa for them. The biggest bonus is that they are always charged!
This makes it easy to grab the controllers when you need them and leave them on charge inbetwee uses. No trailing USB cables and it only requires one cable to the dock to charge two controllers which tidies things even further.
Does the job it’s intended to well. Has clips that lock the controllers into place and keeps them handy for when you want to dive into a VR experience.
Definitely worth it if you play VR often.
It is slightly tricky to get the controllers on and the kids have real problems. But it charges well, doesn’t take up much space and I wish we’d had it the whole time

I particularly like that you can turn off charging by pressing the individual controller down – it makes a click and disconnects the controller – even though the controller light does turn off when fully charged, it’s nice to know they can easily be prevented from trickle charging.

One side charges and the other side doesn’t but its still 1 million times better than trying to charge my joypads using the USB on the front of the PS4. Have this on the other side of the room plugged in to the wall. Works well on the 1 side that charges.

A nice charger for docking two dual socks 4. The only thing you may need is a plug converter cause it comes with a non European socket.
Brought for my husband and it works lovely with his PS4 controllers. Saves wires and is a great way to store and charge at the same time. Every gamer needs one of these!!

Great charger! I had two pads that refused to take a charge from the port at the back and was getting very frustrated, this charges from the port next to where you would plug in a headset or headphones. I don’t think even with a new controller I would ever charge by the normally method again. Great thing don’t hesitate just grab it.
Does what it says it does at a great price.
Not that easy to slot the controllers in. And they fall out easily. Only shows they are connected if the charge is low so you don’t know if they are attached properly otherwise. Good all round though.
What can I say.. it works. I broke the socket for wired charging in mycontriller and this was the solution. Bit awkward the first few goes trynna figure out how you actually get the thing on.. but once you get the technique you’re flying
Very good item. Found it a little strange at first that I had to click down to put the controller on the charger and then click down to take it off again.
Clicks in place and charges fast. No more fiddling trying to put the cable in every time. Arrived fast and is superb…been using it with no problems

Fantastic idea as my son had broken the charging bit on his controller (too much usage and being heavy handed) . This allowed him to charge even though the charging hole was broken! Works great and better that buying a new controller!

Does a full charge everytime. Mains adapter too so you can use the USB ports on ps4 for other things. Best charger I’ve had so far aside from ps4 standard.
Not bad – fiddly to get the controllers to dock but otherwise ok. Feel quite light and flimsy, time will tell if they last.
I got this for my husband because he was having trouble charging his pads. The connection inside the charging point in his pad wasn’t working properly, so you can charge your pads from the bottom of the pad instead. Much cheaper than buying new pads so highly recommend this.

Cons – you need to use a outlet/plug id prefer to have that as an option but power it with a usb

Good addition, keeps the controllers charged and stores them safely, you have to make sure you’ve got them in alignment properly though which can be fiddly but once you’re used to it no problem.

It’s really simple to use. You just push the controller down and you hear a click as the plate covering the charger port goes down. If you have a Nintendo Switch then it’s very similar to how the dock works. I’d recommend holding the controller with your thumb/index finger on the touch pad and then the other finger of those two just behind where the regular charging port is on the top. Then you just put it into the dock and you’re good to go!
It’s great that I no longer need the PS4 console on when I have to charge my Moves, now I can just set them in this dock for a complete charge ready for my next session and when disconnected from the mains you can store your Moves in this dock until you’re ready for them again.
Couldn’t charge my remotes with a lead as i left them to long without use bought this and they chare brilliantly

Great for the kids. They don’t have to site so close to the TV with a short cable plugged in when the battery is low.
Im glad I got these. You just push down the controllers on the spring loaded seat and clicks in to charge. Very small but very stable on the surface and charges very quickly.
Never be caught with a flat controller again.
I’ve been using this product every day since I bought it. I no longer use cables for charging my controllers & everything looks tidier for it.
In terms of charge speed I haven’t noticed a difference between this or a standard wired connection.
The stand itself could be a little more durable however it does the job.
Works really well! The spring loaded action makes docking the controller a doddle. Much better value than the Sony’s own version.
It truly doesn’t feel like a premium product although it does the job well, if it’s kept out of the hands of incapable people that do not take care of their belongings then the charger will last, if you’re constantly moving the dock or not mounting/dismounting the controller properly it WILL break. (Which is common sense)
Works fine. Sometimes difficult to balance the controllers on it. Once you work out to place them in the resting position, press down to charge and the item does it’s job well. Lights indicate when charging and charged
Better quality than the cheap and nasty one we tried first. Still working after 3 weeks which is a novelty! 🙂
Works perfectly as it should, but the click in and out mechanism seems very flimsy so I’m not sure how well that’s going to last.
To charge them you simply just push them down and they click. Controllers glow orange as usual when charging. Charges one or two at a time.
So much easier and neater than using the USB cable.
This was a gift for a family member so I haven’t had opportunity to use it personally, they have been using it every day since I bought it and said it is working well. Handy to keep controllers tidy and looks better than the official Sony one.
This is a really good charger it uses mains power and when controllers are fully charged it turns off so no electricity iis belong wasted. Also a really good dock for your controllers.
Really good actually for a licensed by Sony but not actual Sony product. Had a docking station previously that only charged when the ps4 was on, this is plugged in separately so great for charging overnight. Would highly recommend.
Doesn’t take much space, plugs into mains, charges your controllers while keeping them looking nice and tidy in place. Controllers stop charging once they’re full charged (light on controller switches off). It’s not amazing quality but for the price and purpose it does what it says on the tin so can’t really fault it!
Purchased this as a gift coming up to Christmas for my Dad as he has 2 controllers but only uses the normal cable so this dock would be handy to charge the controllers whilst the console is on rest mode. I haven’t opened the product of course but it’s well packaged, arrived fast through prime and was a great price. Highly recommended!
Sometimes it is difficult to get the controllers to charge but it’s a brilliant product I have never had a dead controller since I bought it 🙂
Great product. You can charge 2 PS4 Dual Shock 4 Controllers at once & plugs into the mains. Controllers fit snugly into the charger. Controllers flash when charging & then switch off when fully charged. Saves you having to switch your PS4 just to charge your controllers. Especially useful as the PS4 controllers don’t seem to last as long as the old PS3 Dual Shock Controllers & so require more frequent charging.
This is an excellent product, great quality and fully licensed by PlayStation so it is an official product. The stylish look of the dock is in keeping with the style of the Dual Shock 4 controllers and the PS4 itself. The controllers fit perfectly and when depressed, the charging process begins. Always best to have another controller handy so when one is charging you can use the other, the dock even comes with an additional USB Micro-B gold plated cable to connect to the PS4. Definitely recommended to PS4 gamers out there, it is essential.
Was very nervous about buying it as some reviews claimed it stopped working after a while. I’ve had it a while now and still functions as expected. A must for the PS4 as the controllers don’t last long on one charge at all.
Great charger which holds controllers and maintains charge when not in use. Never need to worry about charging controllers again as I simply dock them into cradle when not is use.
Easy to dock in with 1 hand, only drawback is the base of dock could have been made from a harder material to give it that sturdiness. this would obviously increase the price so still 5 stars for me…
First one I received was in very poor condition, with scratches all over it, and wires visible under the main part (almost looked like it had been repaired and not put back together properly? Or just the cable got caught like that when it was being assembled).
Customer service was great though and got me another one asap and it’s working really well. At first placing the controllers on the charge part feels a bit like you will break the controller charging port, but once you get used to putting them on and taking the off you realise it’s well designed and the docking/un-docking is quite safe for the controller.
I am finding this a fantastic little device. With it being mains powered it frees up both USB ports which I would otherwise have to use for charging cables. I have this sat on the coffee table next to my gaming chair, so I have both of my controllers fully charged and within easy reach.
I can now keep my wireless headset dongle permanently plugged into the PS4.
A good charger but it cannot be used with silicone controller skins as the connection doesn’t seat properly. A good product nevertheless.
Spot on. Tiny bit fiddly sometimes but the controller PS button lines up with a groove which helps then just push down. Push again to remove. I searched around and these seemed like the best in terms of this easy to use aspect. I can well recommend.

I decided to get this rather than the official PlayStation charging dock. I’m very pleased with it. It’s easy to use, when controller is charging the light is orange and when completed the light goes off. Easy to remove from device, just push down and take off. Small enough to hide out the way if needed.
Intstead I’d like to tell you how this product works well, cleans two cables away, lights the controller to tell you its plugged in, fits the product easily and naturally into the cradle, and doesn’t look bad in your living room. Great product for a very first world problem.
