Everything in this is very well made. The waxed bag, the shaker, the muddler, all of it is has a heft and feel to it that feels well crafted and expensive. I purchased this as a gift for a friend and have used it with them several times, it all works well. I will say that the bag is rather useless, as who travels around with a full cocktail set? But it is pretty.

This is such a great quality set. I did a lot of research before purchasing and I’m very happy with my purchase. As some reviews have noted, yes the finishes on the bag and the items themselves are a bit “rustic” but it does not lower the quality of the pieces, it just adds to the unique character of everything. Highly recommend for craft cocktail mixologists!
Bought for my daughters birthday. Well made from a quality perspective and looks great too. The canvass roll bag is again well made and looks great. It’s been a big hit and I would happily recommend the product.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas and he LOVES it. Our roommate has his own bartender set but still uses my husband’s because how much better/cooler looking it is. This is the perfect gift!!
I absolutely love this product! One thing I would like to be different would be a Boston shaker, or an 18oz mixer tin that fit inside the shaker included. Minor preference, still absolutely love the product!
I’ve given this as a gift twice, both times to people I knew would invite me to use it on their behalf for their guests. The barware itself is nearly indestructible not to mention good-looking. The waxed canvas roll-up case lends a nice rugged touch, even if one is asked to mix appletinis or Shirley Temples. Now if I could just get them to gift me back with one of my own…
It’s a great mixologist kit, all the items are of superior quality, I changed out the shaker with a Boston shaker (this should be an option when purchasing the kit).
When I started looking for a cocktail making set, I wasn’t sure what I’d find, but the presentation of the Root7 kit sold me as it keeps everything wrapped up together in the canvas. Means I won’t lose the little elements if they’re all floating at the bottom of a drawer somewhere!

I’m currently a full time bartender in Australia, I wanted some of my own equipment which was easily portable , good value and high quality. This product ticks all the boxes , it contains everything required to make a wide variety of drinks and cocktails. The shaker is one of the best I’ve used, I usually use a 2-part Boston shaker but on this particular 3-part shaker the titanium coated metal is very strong, durable and lightweight and the unique shape makes it extremely easy to use and the resulting drinks are of a higher quality. Just be careful on the first use or so as the metal might be a little stiff when releasing the components of the shaker. As for delivery, the product was shipped in about a week with prime delivery, the seller also contacted me to follow up on how I was enjoying the product and offered to deal with any issues I might encounter personally so I have to give 10/10 for customer service. It is an excellent value product as well considering it is a 6 piece set with carrying case all for $100 AUD ( at time of purchase). I’d say this is a kit made for bartenders due to the high quality and portability , that said it would also be a great bit of kit for a beginner or just for home use.
It looks great, kind of a smoky oiled metal finish, and everything seems heavy and high quality. I’m taking off a star because the canvas roll could be a better – the cloth is nice, but the shaker falls out very easily even when the buckle is tightened.
I bought the Root7 bartender cocktail set for my husband for christmas and I am so happy. We had another set which was really bad quality and the tools didn’t really work very well, but this set is the quality I was after. It feels really good in the hand when making and shaking the cocktails. It comes with a fantastic carry bag so when we go on holidays we can take it with us. I love this product!
I’m very pleased with this purchase. I was tired of worrying about the proper tools at rental homes, etc., so I picked this up. There is no denying the quality here – it’s top notch! I love the silky feel of the dark titanium in my hands. No reason to think this set will not last years. I’d strongly consider purchasing a few of these sets as gifts.
