Everything in this is very well made. The waxed bag, the shaker, the muddler, all of it is has a heft and feel to it that feels well crafted and expensive. I purchased this as a gift for a friend and have used it with them several times, it all works well. I will say that the bag is rather useless, as who travels around with a full cocktail set? But it is pretty.

This is such a great quality set. I did a lot of research before purchasing and I’m very happy with my purchase. As some reviews have noted, yes the finishes on the bag and the items themselves are a bit “rustic” but it does not lower the quality of the pieces, it just adds to the unique character of everything. Highly recommend for craft cocktail mixologists!

Looks great and well made
Bought for my daughters birthday. Well made from a quality perspective and looks great too. The canvass roll bag is again well made and looks great. It’s been a big hit and I would happily recommend the product.
No leak Shaker, Mix Drinks in Style
This set looks amazing. The jigger is surprisingly heavy, a nice quality. It has a 1oz. and 1.5 oz side. At first I was disappointed it wasn’t 1 and 2 oz. but the 1.5 oz. side has actually proven more useful.
The shaker fulfilled all my needs. Perfect size. Looks amazing. And the lid fits over the outside of the cup instead of inside like my old shaker. My old shaker lid design would leak and make a mess. Not so with this shaker!
The bag has extra room for even more bar tools. And it’s fantastic quality. This set is very much worth the money.
Tip: when you hand wash everything dry it off pretty quickly. Letting air dry can leave spots. They aren’t permanent. They will wash/rub off with a towel, but towel drying immediately will save a step later.

It’s a great mixologist kit, all the items are of superior quality, I changed out the shaker with a Boston shaker (this should be an option when purchasing the kit).

“The wrap and tools are sleek, well made and portable. When I brought out the set on a guys trip, the room became audibly silent as they gazed upon its beauty.
The wrap was placed on a wet counter top and it discolored immediately. I’m fine with this as the set is made for use and the watermarks will add to the look and feel over time. A perfectionist will have to make peace with this characteristic. I’ll have to get (name of male friend) one for his birthday.”
Really happy with this purchase
When I started looking for a cocktail making set, I wasn’t sure what I’d find, but the presentation of the Root7 kit sold me as it keeps everything wrapped up together in the canvas. Means I won’t lose the little elements if they’re all floating at the bottom of a drawer somewhere!

I'm currently a full time bartender in Australia, I wanted some of my own equipment which was easily portable , good value and high quality. This product ticks all the boxes , it contains everything required to make a wide variety of drinks and cocktails. The shaker is one of the best I've used, I usually use a 2-part Boston shaker but on this particular 3-part shaker the titanium coated metal is very strong, durable and lightweight and the unique shape makes it extremely easy to use and the resulting drinks are of a higher quality. Just be careful on the first use or so as the metal might be a little stiff when releasing the components of the shaker. As for delivery, the product was shipped in about a week with prime delivery, the seller also contacted me to follow up on how I was enjoying the product and offered to deal with any issues I might encounter personally so I have to give 10/10 for customer service. It is an excellent value product as well considering it is a 6 piece set with carrying case all for $100 AUD ( at time of purchase). I'd say this is a kit made for bartenders due to the high quality and portability , that said it would also be a great bit of kit for a beginner or just for home use.

It looks great, kind of a smoky oiled metal finish, and everything seems heavy and high quality. I'm taking off a star because the canvas roll could be a better - the cloth is nice, but the shaker falls out very easily even when the buckle is tightened.

Absolutely love using this kit! Every piece is well made and feels like it will last. As a bartender this cocktail kit holds up to the wear and tear behind the bar. I only wish that they made a Jigger that is 30/60ml. Apart from that the travel bag is great and can take a lot of punishment with room to add extra pieces to the already great kit.

I bought the Root7 bartender cocktail set for my husband for christmas and I am so happy. We had another set which was really bad quality and the tools didn't really work very well, but this set is the quality I was after. It feels really good in the hand when making and shaking the cocktails. It comes with a fantastic carry bag so when we go on holidays we can take it with us. I love this product!

This product is Simply Amazing and profoundly biltwell. As in Head Mixologist I highly recommend this product for any beginner or advanced Mixologist or Bartender. I love the weight of all the tools I have big hands and I like heavy things. My only complaint is the opening where the Boston Shaker sits, I wish it was completely enclosed but hey, maybe on the next round. I look forward to the next generation of this Bar Roll.
