Does the job
Having been ill for some considerable time, I had lost lots of body mass, my muscles had disappeared. I was advised to start off with very small weights, and slowly make my way up. These did the job as a starter set. And now I have a bit more mass, and my muscles are getting better.

Some weights are really sore to hold (especially the metal ones) but these are perfect. They do not hurt my hands at all and are very durable. I use them for most work outs and they are still like brand new. Great price and arrived so quick. Would recommend and will definitely buy this brand again as I move up in weights.

Really well made and comfortable to hold; and more importantly having bought the plates before, which weighed exactly as advertised I took leap with the dumbells and they weigh exactly as indicated and both weigh the same. No scuffs or marks they look perfect considering there are many shoddy examples out there. Great job, I will be back for more.

Good weights, neoprene is good to grip and clean after use. Also by comparison to the cheaper weights I looked at, they were too big but with smaller handles.

Bought 2 x 5kg and they’re ideal – I have quite small hands and I’m able to hold these comfortably to do the exercises. Had bought a pair prior to these and had to return them because I couldn’t grip them well enough so really pleased with these. Would recommend.

Prefect, exactly as advertised
They are perfect for the budding home gym/someone trying to get some underlying strength back so you don’t flop into the gym in a few weeks like wet noodle. They don’t smudge to scratch or stain easy. A quick wipe with a cloth every now and then and they stay lookin like brand new.

Great beginners weigh
I’m pretty inactive so I wanted a nice weight to start exercising with. This is a perfect weight. Super comfortable to hold, not too heavy or too light.

I had been using 2 x 2pint plastic milk bottles filled with water. These weights are much better – they’re SO much easier to hold, they don’t leak water and they’re heavier so a better work out. Also they stand up so easier to store.

I was very impressed with these dumbells. The covering is comfortable to hold. It has a seam but this is rounded with no sharp edges. The ends are round but there are a couple of flats to prevent them rolling.

I’ve been using these dumbells for more than 3 years (see photo for the 3kg one) and they still look great. Doesn’t slip, doesn’t cause callous on your hans and it doesn’t roll over when stored.

These dumbbells have been perfect for me. With the gyms closed during lockdown this was a good alternative and are great for beginners. They have a good grip and can be easily tucked away on the stand.

I would have liked the handle to be a little wider but still they are robust and good quality. There are cheaper alternatives out there.

What it says on the box
Not much to say about my weights. If I’m correct, it’s iron or steel coated in plastic? It’s easy to hold even when really sweaty. Perfect for beginnners. Hexagonal shape to dumbells means they don’t roll all over the place either, but be careful if you leave them on the floor or you’ll stub your toe like me! I also like the colours of my blue 4kg weights.

Happy with these – I’m not a beginner to using dumbbells but there are exercises I simply cannot do with heavier dumbbells I own (lateral raises urgh). These were a good purchase, they’re easy to use, grip and are good quality.
