Good battery powered PIR ligh
Having had other battery powered lights that didn’t work I ordered this with some trepidation. So far this has proved to be fantastic, easy to install, a bright light and the movement sensor works well. When it comes on it stays on for a sensible period before going off, only time will tell how long the batteries last. It’s already been through heavy rain and wind and has stood up to the test so I’d recommend it.

I like that it is a deterrent because it looks like a security camera. I use them at the front and the back of my house. Good sensor and lighting. If the batteries last a good while, then that will be a bonus.

Pleasantly surprised at how bright it is and for my purposes (protecting the dark gap between my car door and a hedge often visited by a local thief who likes to check if cars have been accidentally left unlocked) the light is perfect: mounted high up the light only comes on when someone enters that space. Time will tell if it’s weatherproof enough.

Battery operated, using AAA batteries. Delightfully easy to instal with supplied magnet or double sided sticky pad. Lighting effect perfect for a soft glow, giving floor illumination where needed.

bought this to help protect our electric bikes on a campsite known for bikes being stolen. It is very adaptable to different positions which is good. It is very bright and does the job nicely. It folds up neatly when not in use. Batteries need to be removed if you are not using it. Arrived on time as stated.
Works well
Very handy. I have had mine on a self-build construction site. It works well as a sensor light and looks very realisitic as a CCTV / deterrent. It has a solid base and we haven’t even screwed it in but it is fine to stand up against mild wind.

I found this an excellent product with one exception and that is the sticky pad is not able to hold the weight of the light so more permanent methods need to be used. I have had several visitors comment that the see I have installed CCTV to the front of my house.

Great little ligh
Ordered this after having a quote to install a wired light, so glad I looked on here instead. Really easy to fit, just don’t put the plate screws in too far, as you slide the plate onto them. Picks up movement from over 10ft away and stays on for a while. The lights are pretty bright too. The hood part makes them look like a CCTV camera. I ended up buying 2, one for the alleyway and one for my drive. Great buy

Light is a useful item. We have placed at the bottom of garden as we have a field behind our property. Thankfully it has not been needed so far.

Works ok fitting design poor and not very brigh
Works ok but the wall securing fitting is badly designed and fiddly. Would be far easier with a simple couple of screws into raw plugs through the base which is in fact what I did. It works although not very bright.

as they were so cheap we bpught 2 more.
just a couple of screws to install. one onto our shed and one onto a wooden trelliss.
they are very lightweight and when the batteries fail you slide off the top weather cover and unscrew the lamp unit housing take it into the house remove dead batteries and replace . screw back into place, slide on the plastic weather cover and that’s it.
the batteries i was using seemed to last a few weeks at a time at least.
if you had decent rechargeable batteries and a spare set of same, i reckon it would last for years until the weather got in.
ideally these would be best under some kind of cover, an eve or even just some waterproof plate over the top as i reckon it was horizontal rain that defeated the slide on rain cover that you get as part of the unit.
well worth the cost if you don’t want to faff with mains power, electricians etc and aren’t lighting a large area.

Bought this as an outside porch light to throw some light on the front door. Works a treat. Very pleased.

Lights up a good area and is bright for how small the light is.
Motion sensor is very powerful from around 15ft out.
We only wanted to activate the sensor when people were near enough under the light. A piece of black tape covering the part of the sensor that we didn’t want to activate, did the trick.
Can’t comment on battery life as only been up a week.

I bought this to illuminate my Mothers open porch when unexpected visitors turn up in the dark evenings.
It was easy to fit using the template to drill the holes .
Adjusting the beam to get the right coverage was easy to do and its motion sensor certainly seems to work well only coming on as the light fades. So a cheap but practical addition to security. Looks the part as well

It’s only been up for a week, so I don’t know about battery life yet, or whether it keeps out the rain. I did choose it partly because it has a hood to protect from the weather. So far, it seems to be working as described.

Amazing little lamp sitting over the top of my front door. Where I live we have bad storms in the winter so have secured with the screws to the wall. Very sensitive light sensor. Nice buy, very pleased with the product. JRC

Appears flimsy, however once attached it is solid enough . Cannot comment on battery life at present, all I can report is that the sensor works well shedding sufficient light at my porch entrance.

Very pleased with this product but be advised to take into account the recommended distance for the light sensor to activate as I have installed it high up on my garage wall apex (in original raw plug holes), so I have lost some range for the activation of the light. I bought this light to replace a wired security light that wasn’t working properly. I was fed up with having to call in an electrician to fix it. This light is very simple, but remarkably effective. I used screws to fit it on a wooden porch – you can unscrew the mounting plate and use that as a template to position the screws. Setting it up was very easy. My garden is about 60 foot long and the light illuminates it all the way down. The sensor activates at about 10-12 feet, which isn’t a problem, as the light is to deter intruders close to the house, and not the foxes at the bottom of the garden! The light stays on for around 30-40 seconds and reactivates if the movement continues. Hopefully the batteries should last OK, as the light is motion activated only. And unlike my wired one, I can switch this one off by removing the batteries! So far, I’m very happy.

We bought this as we have started using a milk man and it’s quite dark at 4.30 a.m. when he delivers. The detector picks up at the slightest motion, easy to install. Just the job!

Incredibly Reliable Outdoor Ligh
We’ve mounted this light to our fence to brighten up the pathway round the dark side of our house. So far it done a superb job. It’s highly responsive and it only activates in the dark to save its battery life. They are batteries are also
very easy to replace and with the light being waterproof, they aren’t affected either.
Overall this is a brilliant light.

Good cheap security ligh
Easy to assemble and fit.
Light isn’t as harsh or bright as in some other photos but I prefer it. Covers a large section of the garden, with a sensitive motion detector, which I wanted to be able to check on the dog, and it does the job perfectly.
Happy with the purchase. Although the sticky pad to fit it, that comes with it isnt suitable for all house types as has already fallen off but have just glued it into place. Not really an issue.

When removing light unit to fit batteries, the light itself came away and dislodged a wire. Resoldered and now working as expected as a security light in front of garage.

Looks like a camera, seems fairly sturdy and works well as a light. Where I needed it, it took a couple of repositionings to get it to trigger the light when approaching from different directions but now works well. I would recommend it.
