The PureMate PM-510 air cleaning system has its efficient 5-stage filtering system. It’s quiet, easy to use and maintain with its unique 5-Stage filtering ability, it can cover a wide range of air pollutants.
The first part of the 5-in-1 system is the pre-filter which uses activated carbon to trap larger particles found indoors such as dust, lint and hair. Activated charcoal is very porous, and its uneven surface is great for trapping larger pollutants, but there is another benefit to it as well. A carbon layer efficiently eliminates odours stemming from household pets, cooking and tobacco smoke. During the second stage, the air is filtered through a True HEPA filter. True HEPA filters have to meet strict standards which involve being able to collect 99.97% of airborne particles as tiny as 0.3 microns in diameter. For instance, stuff like pet dander, dust mites, mould spores and pollen all fall into this category.
The third and fourth stage involves air filtration using UV-C light. This technology works to help kill airborne viruses, bacteria, mould spores, and with titanium dioxide (TIO2), decomposes odour molecules caused by smoking, cooking and pets.
And finally the last stage the unit releases negative ions which enhances the mood, keeping you alert and active. It eliminate most tiny particles suspended in indoors air. In addition, the air will actually smell fresher because of the Ioniser.
The PureMate PM 510 is suitable for rooms up to 400 square feet of in size which makes it perfect for most bedrooms. It stands 22-inches tall. The unit’s CADR (Clear Air Delivery Rate) is 110+ which effectively means it’s able to deliver 110 cubic feet of clean air per minute with 5 changes of air per hour.
The PM 510 has 5 fan speed settings available. When set on low, the unit is impressively quiet at 20 dB (A). In fact most people won’t be able to tell its working if it weren’t for the large blue LED, and the cleaner doesn’t get much louder when the fan speed is set to medium.
The air purifier now comes equipped with indicator lights that automatically blink when it’s time to replace the Hepa Filter. No more trying to remember the last time the filter was replaced. A clean filter not only maximises the amount of dust and allergens captured but helps optimise the performance of the entire purifier. Have used this whenever people came to the door during lockdown.
I have this in the bird room as ironizer can be turned off.
However it is quite noisy depending on what fan level you have.
Also attracts the dust quite well so would recommend buying a extra filter with it.
Very nice product, certainly seems to clear the air , as both my sister and I have breathing problems,.

Had this for over 1 month appears to do what it says on the box. For me to noisy to sleep with even on 1 but I am overly sensitive. Occasionally has a distinctive smell. Seems to vent out on one side at an angle. Looking through front cover and at the fan you can see why. Built quality seems okay.
On the whole Very pleased.
Got rid of the mold and dust smell in the rooms and significantly improved air quality. Good product.
I love this air purifier very much. I suffer badly with allergies and asthma and I think this will help me massively just wish I brought it sooner. This one is good, sturdy and sleek. I can easily carry it into each room of my house. I can sleep with it on at night the noise is actually quite soothing. I love everything about it. I also love that it will beep or flash when you need to change the filter.
Works great, our only ussue is the vist of the replacement hepa filter @ 25 approx every 6 months. If we had know this before hand we would have bought on Oreck @ 99. The Oreck contains a washable permanent filter.
The appliance will smell the first few times you use it, but said smell soon goes away.
We use the air filter an hour a day during the day and another hour, with the UV lamp and the ioniser switched on during the night. It seems to work as the room is smell free (Which is usually the case when a ioniser is used).

Only thing I might add if I was the manufacturer would be a pull tag so you know that the internal filter is still wrapped in plastic.

Great bit of kit, cleans the air brilliantly, drops everything out of the air with the ionization, sterilizes the air with the UV. I,ve bought three of these over time to move around the house. Quite new to these air purifiers, no real experience, found it hard to choose due to vast amounts units available ,got this one as it was mentioned to me that they were good at capturing parrot dander, did not really notice any difference until i checked the filter
Out the box very easy to set up with lots of options can be noisy at full speed …but it’s pushing the air through….I leave it set at medium speed at night

That said my first unit died after a few weeks, contacted their customer services, who were helpful, sent out a replacement within 24hrs at their expence, which they suggested right off the bat
Second unit appeared to be dead also, contacted customer service again,again great service, they talked me through the set up and trouble shooting, and soon got me going…running with no issues for a few weeks
So impressed with the quality ,product knowledge and professionalism of my experience of direct contact with this company have now purchased a second unit…both running well and filling their filters

as an addition: one year later – still works perfectly. UV option is a nice bonus during COVID times… During night time can be used as a white noise generator – very low level of noise with a calming effect.

Was sceptical about getting a air purifier for hay fever, I was told to try a cheap one but I thought they would be rubish so I thought I will get a half decent one without braking the bank and this was mid range for the price and now I won’t be without it I love it you can tell the difference in the air in my bedroom

We purchased this air purifier for my wife’s severe allergic asthma and we have seen excellent results and improvement in her health. After a year’s use we seemed to have an issue with the device. This was resolved swiftly, efficiently, successfully and sympathetically by their excellent customer support for which we were very grateful. So, a good device and a good decent company.

We bought this when our neighbours were doing renovations and so much dusk came into the house. It would be great if it could measure the air quality in the home and let you know when you need to turn it on. At the moment one can use in conjunction with an app but there’s room to expand the product functionality.

After a couple of days the purifier got a lot better. Noticeably better air quality, better rest and easily gets rid of the smells from the neighbours and the pollution outside. Great customer service also.
It had a plastic smell at first but it’s gone after , I think it’s just cause was new!

My wife smokes and this has been great for removing cigarette smoke and other nasty smells from the house, been using it for over a month and no complaints.
Good build quality, pretty quiet one the slowest setting. I live on a canal boat (55ft long) it easily cleans all of the air throughout. Great you can switch the Ionisor on and off, as well as the UV. The air feels better after just 12 hours of running (middle setting). Very Happy.
This is a very effective air purifier and it’s surprising quiet. Got a dead rat under the floorboard, if anyone knows how unbearable the smell is even with the odour removal bags. Put two of these in the affected area and 70% of the smell have gone and can barely smell it with the odour bags. Btw, forget about the bladeless 2 in 1 (fan & purifier). I’ve got one and it’s waste of money as it’s not doing either thing properly.

I have found the pure Mate to be very good. I have a pet bird and a lot of dander comes off him , this is not good for me, The Pure mate cleans the air and all the dander, leaving me breathing fresh clean air, thank you Pure Mate I can enjoy my time with my pet even more now.

My original unit failed in under two years. However, the supplier has been very good at repairing it under warranty, even paying for return postage and throwing in a set of new filters as a gesture of goodwill.
I haven’t had the repaired unit back long, but all seems to be working as it should, and I am happy to revise my original rating without being asked.
I use mine in the bedroom and have it on number 1 or 2.It has helped relief some of my stuffy nose symptoms and I wake up feeling more refreshed. Any louder than 2Would be to noisy for me to sleep .
You can’t go wrong here. My sleeping is so much better now. I can properly breath without all the allergy affecting me. Amazing product. Love it.

Love that the smell of acetone is dispersed from my beauty treatment room I 5 minutes with this filter. And the amount of dust that acumulates Thanks to a tumble dryer is greatly reduced.

Good product. I would change the followings: 1. Cant turn the side light off if the UV is on. Its annoying at night. 2. If you turn it off, then turn back on, you have to set the settings again (fan speed, UV, ..)

The criticism that the light is too bright? I can only assume someone didn’t work out how to switch the blue strip light off. Too noisy? If it operates at its lowest level (1) it really is hard to know its on. At 2 it has a very slight almost soothing noise which is barely noticeable. I have it on for a few minutes at full blast every night just before I go to bed (for an hour or so after I’ve hoovered) then have it at level 1 or 2 as I go to sleep on the timer set for 3 or 4 hours. No idea if its put my leccie bill up much or not, but it’ll be worth it.
Delivery was quick.The PureMate is excellent . I have noted a noticeable improvement in air quality in the sitting room where we leave it on while we are in the room. I also tried it in the kitchen to remove strong cooking odours and left it on full power for an hour but unfortunately it didn’t work . However grilled salmon is fairly pungent and I did remove the appliance from the room after one hour as a previous reviewer has mentioned it removed odours for them in an hour. This is the only reason I am removing one star.
PureMate air purifier is working well and I can feel the difference already. Glad I bought this.
